Chapter two

"Stop lying. There can only be one avatar," screamed Toph.

"Please calm down Toph. I'm not lying I am the avatar," firmly said Korra.

"I said to stop lying," Toph shouts at Korra. She then starts to move her body.

She lifts her right foot forward and stomps on the ground to send a large chuck on earth toward Korra.

Korra dodges it but hits her side on a large tree trunk.

Toph moves her left foot and her arms forward to send two other medium sized slabs of earth.

Korra, lifting herself up from the tree hit, raise both her forearms, blocks the first piece of earth with a fire wall. As she lets the wall fall, she moves into a Tiger stance when she sees the second coming and punches the slab causing it to break apart.

Toph, surprised at the feat Korra did, says. "How did you do that?"

" I'm the avatar, so of course I can bend earth," Korra says in a somewhat sarcastic voice.

Toph going into her stance once more, levitating more earth slabs but before she can throw them, Zuko jumps in with his arms up. "Stop Toph."

"Why should I?" She says.

"Because you know as well as I do that what Korra did with her bending the elements is only what the avatar can do. So why not hear her out at least?" asks Zuko.

Toph scowls as she looks at the prince then at the foreign water garb wearer then back at the prince. Letting her arms down and going back into her normal position she states. "Fine. Talk girl. Who are you and how are you the avatar when Aang is still alive?"

"My name is Korra, not girl. And I'm the avatar but from 70 years from now," Korra says.

"But, how?" Toph asks surprised.

Zuko says before Korra can reply," What is this forest called again."

"The Forest of Time," both the girls say.
