SURPRISE! Hey guys. So I have decided to continue this story, I'm not sure why inspiration suddenly decided to hit me, but it has so I'm rolling with it. Anyway I went back and reread the previous chapters and decided they were complete and utter crap, but because I discontinued the story and made you all incredibly mad I will write a new chapter tonight, and fix the others soon. Now I probably won't be able to update at all this week because my family is going on vacation, but I will try. Okay now there's a few things you guys need to know about this story. I am very highly considering putting my OCs from This Could Be a Problem in later chapters so if you guys could please go and check that out I would really appreciate it, and it may pay off in the long run. Secondly I really need you guys to review, and tell me how I'm doing with the story 'cause sometimes I feel like it's going terribly. Thirdly I may take a long time to update because inspiration comes and goes for me. Soooo I'm pretty sure that's it, and no one likes my blabbering, so without further ado, ONTO THE STORY.

Percy's POV

"So Annabeth, Jason, and Thalia are related on their mom's side" I said "so Annabeth isn't related to Nico or I because we are related to them on their dad's side?" I had to think about what I was saying very carefully. They had already explained this to me a few times, and I was determined to get it right this time.

Annabeth and Jason breathed a sigh of relief, Piper clapped, and Nico and Thalia cheered. "He can be taught" Nico yelled. I frowned at him, and punched him in the arm. He yelled "owe," and started rubbing his arm. I smirked in satisfaction. The little bugger was not allowed to pick on me, even if I was a little slow.

"And it only took ten minutes" Annabeth said, glancing at the clock. I decided to do the most mature thing I could think of, and stick my tongue out at her. She grinned, and then stuck her tongue out at me. I inwardly laughed.

"So how long have you guys been living together" Thalia asked.

Jason and Annabeth looked at each other, and they both started counting on their fingers. "We got the apartment in September of ninth grade, right" Jason asked.

"Yeah, I think so" Annabeth replied "because we had both gotten scholarships, and so we moved from San Fransisco."

"That's right, so we've had the apartment for about three years" Jason said, turning to Thalia.

Thalia, Nico, and I's mouths fell open. The two of them had been living in an apartment together, and by themselves, since they were freshmen. They were only like fourteen, or fifteen, when they started living on their own. I could barely make a bowl of cereal, let alone cook every meal for myself. "Wait, you guys have basically been living on your own since you were fourteen" Nico asked, voicing our thoughts.

"Yeah" they answered, shrugging.

"Wow" we all said.

"It's not a big deal" Jason explained "we have a system. I clean and grocery shop, and Annabeth cooks and manages basically everything else. Besides our parents take care of the bills. It works incredibly well, way better then anywhere else either of us have lived."

Annabeth nodded. "Yeah, it's amazing. Besides, even if it was a complete mess I know for sure neither of us would ever even think about going back home."

Jason nodded fiercely next to her. It made me wonder about their old home lives. What was so bad about them that neither of them ever wanted to go back? I mean Jason's dad was pretty neglectful, but his mom didn't seem that bad, and what about Annabeth? What was her home life like? I wanted to ask, but I didn't want to over step my boundaries. Maybe one day, when we were closer I would, but not know. Suddenly Piper looked at her phone, and then her eyes went wide. "Crap, Annabeth we're going to be late" she said.

"Wait" Annabeth asked. She glanced at her phone. "Shoot, you're right. Alright well we've got to run. We'll see you in a few, fight Jase?"

"Yeah, I'll meet you there." The girls nodded, and then took off down the hallway.

"Are we going to be late" I asked.

"No, Mr. Apollo just likes them to show up early, so he can work on their duet" Jason explained "hey what classes are you guys going to next?"

We took out our schedules. "Dance" I announced.

"Song writing" Thalia said, scrunching her nose.

"Dance" Nico repeated.

"Alright, cool" Jason said "I have dance, too, so I'll show you guys the way to the room. Thalia song writing is down that hallway to the right, and then walk down that hallway, and turn left."

Thalia nodded. "Okay, later losers." She started walking away. Nico and I rolled our eyes, and Jason just smiled.

"Lead the way then" I said, turning back to Jason.

"Okay" he started walking down the hallway. Nico and I walking next to him, but he was obviously leading us.

"So Jason" Nico started "what's the deal with Annabeth, she have a boyfriend?"

I snapped my head to look at Nico, and he smirked at me. I glared at him, and then we both turned to look at Jason. "Our little Annie" Jason asked. He shook his head, and I released a breath I hadn't realized I had been holding. "No, she thinks the boys here are idiots, and she's right. Conner's been trying to get her to date him for forever though, but I don't think she will." Nico nodded. "Why, you like her or something?"

Nico shook his head, making me sigh with relief. I would not fight my cousin for a girl. Wait what? Did I really just think that? I shook my head to clear my thoughts. "But I think Percy does" Nico said, smirking at me.

"What" I asked, my voice rising a few octaves. I mentally kicked myself. They both smirked at me. I cleared my throat. "I mean, what? No."

"Ooooh Perce, you've got it bad" Jason said "not that I blame you. Most guys here like Annabeth."

"I don't like Annabeth" I replied, but even I didn't believe myself.

"Whatever you say Kelp Head" Nico said. I rolled my eyes.

"So where's the dance room" I asked, desperately trying to change the subject.

"Right up there" Jason replied, pointing in front of us. I heard music playing, and realized it was the song Applause by Lady Gaga. Jason lead us down the hallway, and into the room. It was a large room with a grey floor, lighter grey walls, and one of the walls was completely mirrors. There was a stereo system in the corner, with a man standing next to it. He wasn't too old, probably in his twenties, or thirties, and he was probably considered attractive. Annabeth and Piper were in the middle of the room, dancing. There was only one word to describe it... wow. They were doing fancy turns, and leaps, and kicks, and it was just amazing. I stood there is awe. I glanced over, and saw Nico with his mouth practically on the floor. Jason smirked. "Yeah they get that expression a lot."

Nico and I quickly regained our composure, as the music stopped. "Good job, girls" the man by the stereo said. They thanked him, and walked over to us.

"So how'd it look" Piper asked.

"Wow" Nico and I replied.

Jason walked over to them, and slung an arm around each of them. "Yep, those are my girls" he said. Then he frowned, and took his arms off of them, wiping them on his shirt. "My very talented, and sweaty, girls." We all laughed.

"Yo, guys" the man yelled "class starts in like five seconds. Go get changed."

Annabeth and Piper smirked. "Yeah, go get changed."

so I didn't really want to stop it there my I gotta head to bed 'cause we are leaving early tomorrow
