Hey! Here is a special gift to you! Finished it today since it's finally a weekend where I am.

In this chapter, we shall see if Rigby, Chad and Winter (may or may not be dead) can save America. Wish them good luck!

Chapter 23 – Heroes vs. villains: Fight for America pt.2

Rigby shot the fire ball at Mordecai, sending him flying into a fire. Rigby stood up, more fire balls forming in his hands. He walked to the fire, cautiously. Mordecai's arm came out from the fire. The fire became bigger in size, covering the whole of Seattle and spreading all over America. Mordecai stood up from the fire, not even burned. "N-no! the fire's going to kill everyone!" Rigby screamed. The fire balls in his hands disappeared as he turned away from Mordecai. The fire grew bigger. It could be seen by people in South America and Africa, who were shocked. Mordecai looked happy. He could hear all the screams of the citizens all over America. To Rigby, the screams he heard were extremely painful. He covered his ears and shook his head. "Make the pain stop! Make it stop!" he fell on his knees.

Then, it was quite.

Too quite.

Rigby slowly uncovered his ears. He knew what this meant.

Everyone in America was….was….dead.

Mordecai laughed evilly. "Ha ha ha! Another victory is mine!" Rigby stared blankly at the fires. "I….I failed. Everyone's….gone." his sadness slowly turned to anger. "They're gone….because of you!" Rigby stood up and made a sharp turn. He glared at a grinning Mordecai, fire balls forming in his fists. His family's dead, some of his friends are dead, now the whole of America. Rigby couldn't take the pain anymore. He charged at Mordecai, preparing to shoot more fire balls. Mordecai, still grinning, got into a fighting position, blood red flames forming in his hands.

Meanwhile…..

Chad and High five ghost fought in the large fires. High five ghost had a dagger in his hand, swinging it at Chad. Chad had to avoid getting scratched by the dagger. One scratch from it could kill someone instantly. "Max, still the same dangerous person." Said Chad. He kicked the dagger out of the ghost's hand. "And you, the same weak hero." Said High five ghost. He came at Chad, throwing as many punches as he could. Chad blocked all of them. Then, he couldn't help but notice how quite it was. "Why is it so quite? It was usually this quite when…w-wait." Chad came out from his thoughts. He knew what this silence meant. High five ghost punched him, making him fall to the ground. He held his bleeding nose. He looked at the grey sky and noticed something floating above him. "What…what is that?" a figure came flying from the sky, landing in front of Chad. The figure turned out to be Britney, who was hiding something behind her back. "Oh, you're not done with little pest?" she asked High five ghost. "I was able to get rid of mine." Britney revealed what she was hiding. It was Winter. "What did you do to her?!" Chad exclaimed. Britney tossed Winter's body to him. Chad caught her in his arms. Winter's skin was as cold as ice. Ice covered her body. Her blood was also cold. For real. The worst part…

Chad couldn't feel a pulse.

Chad thought this wasn't real. Sadly, it was. Winter was gone. Willow was gone. America was gone. Since he was distracted, High five ghost thought it was finally time to end it. Britney pounced at Chad and pinned him down. "Release me, Britney!" Chad yelled, struggling to get the tiger off of him. High five ghost flew to Chad. "I'll make this quick." He said.

Meanwhile…..

Rigby was still fighting. He was losing blood, but he didn't care. He wanted to bring Mordecai back to end all the pain. He shot some more fire balls at Mordecai. Mordecai dodged them and shot fire at Rigby. "Give up Rigby! I have destroyed everything you liked. Now everyone you loved is gone!" Mordecai said and shot more fire at Rigby. The fire hit him, burning him on his arm. The pain spread all over his arm. He looked at Mordecai and saw High five ghost and Britney behind him. He also saw them carrying Winter and Chad, both of them dead. Chad had blood dripping from his neck. (Remember the move HFG used to kill Skips in CH.11? Yeah, he done the same to Chad.) "What…what did you do to them?!" Rigby yelled and glared at them. "Nothing, just thought they should take a break." Said Britney. "You killed my friends!" Rigby yelled. Then, he remembered something, the others were still at that tiger area. It was in America. That means..

"You….you killed all my friends!" Rigby yelled. Fire balls started to form in his hands. "Hold him down." Said Mordecai. Britney and High five ghost rushed over to Rigby, grabbed his arms and pinned him down. "Let me go!" Rigby yelled, squirming and shooting fire balls. Mordecai walked to him and grabbed him by the neck. "This will be the last time you stop me." Mordecai's hand started to glow red. Rigby started to fell weak. He realised that Mordecai was taking his powers. "No…leave….me…..alone…" said Rigby weakly. He felt his arms drop to the ground. All his energy was gone. His powers were gone. Mordecai, Britney and High five ghost had already disappeared, laughing evilly, leaving Rigby in the fire. He was surprised that the fire didn't burn him. Rigby looked up at the sky, still bleeding and weak. "I failed…..I'm a failure. I couldn't save anyone. I'm sorry guys….I'm sorry America…I'm sorry…Earth…" Rigby took in one more breath before closing his eyes and falling into the darkness….

What a very sad chapter. Rigby has lost his family, friends and powers and America is gone. So sad.

Anyway, only four more chapters till we reach chapter 28 and 29, which are the two part final, so get ready!
