Extremely SORRY for the very, very, very, very, very late update. It was more than a month, damn me! I went away for a week, went home, got sick, got treated in a hospital for another week. Then, there's my graduation to take care of which took a while.

Excuses apart, I'm free now. But unfortunately I have to be unavailable again starting tomorrow, which mean may be no up date for a week, maybe 2. I felt really sorry for this.

Well, if you're still with me, I thank you and I will tell you this; I will finish this project, which won't be long now. There's only one major event left, the finale.

Also, I understand if some of you consider the plot complicated. Yea, it is complicated. Simply explained, basically this universe has many worlds in them, we're living in one of them, called the "World of imagination". We can see visions of what happen in all the other worlds, but we thought it as our own imagination. We eventually turned into games, movies, books, etc. without realizing they are actually real.

That, and the Legion Order regulates the link between each worlds. That's pretty much it.
Yes, it's a crazy idea. I thought of it a long time ago. Only now I can realized it in a form of fanfiction.

So, before I leave, for your enjoyment. Here's another chapter... Happy reading.

The blizzard added a few inches of snow to the already deep snow. It died down, for now. as it died, 8 men came out of their shelter after being forced to stay by the heavy blizzard. Of course, they were supposed to be sheltering in a certain safe house up in the mountain. It wasn't until a patrol of Baron's men in hood, otherwise refer to as 'hostile presence' to those 8 men decided to wander about in the vicinity. They couldn't risk the chance for them to find their hiding spot. So, one of them had the idea of moving away for a while, and also to booby trapped the door just in case they do find the secret safe house. Unfortunately, that's when they were caught in the middle of a blizzard.

It doesn't matter a few hours later. The blizzard finally lifted and a little of the sun's ray slips in between the gap of the cloud, lighting the white wasteland of the cursed peninsula, Olive's Rock. The group made their way to the coast and split up. Six of the eight men spread out, forming a perimeter. Two of them stayed on a hill, overlooking a certain stone fort by the coast.

"So, see anything interesting yet?"

"Please, for the last time, no. Now, will you please shut up, Flynn."

He did, for a minute. Then Flynn started blabbering again. "Okay, what did you see then?"

Lee, who is eyeing through his scope, sighed. "Nothing interesting."

"Well, describe this 'nothing interesting'."

Lee's temper is on the edge. He's about had it with his knife-wielding colleague. But he knows best, hence he keeps his rage under control. After all, he above all knew what will happen if he couldn't control his emotion.

So, he went along with it.

"A bunch of men, armed men, sitting around, doing chores, all sorts of things."

"You know we can take them, right? The eight of us. Hell! I'm pretty sure we can manage to snatch that stone from that bastard easily."

"First, there's only eight of us and hundreds of them. Second, IF that stone is indeed there. Third... is that civilian?"

"What?!" Flynn said, snatching the scope from Lee's hand. "Well, this is certainly new, I didn't know they kidnap people."

"The stone requires sacrifices, yes?"

"Uh-uh. If they are indeed there as the sacrifices, that means the stone is... there."

"So, that kid blew it?"

"Maybe."

"Then they could be hostage. Knowing Seff, he would always risk blowing the mission if it's for saving innocent people. If that is the case, they're bait, for him."

"That is also a possibility. Either way, this is getting out of hands."

Lee stood up, brushing the snow from his winter coat and sighed some more. "We stick to the plan."

"Really? Even if lives are involved?"

"Lives are always involved." Lee argued. "I have every confidence to trust that kid. If the stone was there, he will get it back, and he will deliver it as planned."

"That'll be the two of us then." Flynn said, smirking in return. "Although, if that damn stone really that important, why didn't HE just send an army and just wipe this guys from the face of the planet?"

"Keeping it low profile if I have to guess. Of course, one can argue that 'low profile' is not really HIS style."

The two men laughed. Shortly after, the laugh died down. The men paused the conversation, hearing the sound of the cold wind blowing in their ears. It brought up memories, Lee especially. "He did though, once upon a time, right here."

"Oh right, you were here that night."

"Yea, not a pretty night." Bringing past memory. "I guess now I know why HE picked me."

"Hey, come on, at least we won that fight." Flynn said, attempting to cheer him up.

"At a cost of a kingdom, and the whole peninsula." He retorted, almost like he was disappointed.

"And that... is why we're here, to stop that from happening ever again. I guess HE thinks the best way to stop that from ever happening again is to remove that stone from this world, permanently."

"My thought exactly."

Flynn rub his two hands together, and started to exhaled air on it, trying to keep them warm. He then speak up again.

"Does Seff knew? About... you know."

"Of course he does, he was there that night."

"Oh, right, back when he's still a royal brat, before he's a Legion, before he... uhh." Flynn stutter hesitantly.

"Yep, I know what you mean." Cuts in Lee calmly. "We all something else before who we are now. You, me, that kid. We don't keep secrets from each other."

"The hell? Why are we so bloody miserable?" Flynn said, jokingly complained. That brings humor to the two men as they then chuckled. The laughter was then cut short by an artificial sound coming from a device attached to Lee's and Flynn's ear. A sort of, wireless communication device.

"Это Киров, у меня враждебное присутствие в периметре."(This is Kirov, I've got hostile presence in the prerimeter.) The dialogue was ended with a static noise.

"Признавать"(Acknowledge.) Lee asnwered back by pressing a button.

"What did he say?" Flynn then asked, curious about the situation update.

"Enemy patrol." Lee sighed, he then propose his idea. "We've got to move to the higher ground."

"Finally, something to do."

"Not you. I need you to guard our 'exit'."

"The duck? With pleasure. Meanwhile you will..."

"I will wait for Seff until extraction time, exactly as planned." Lee said with assuring smile.

"I guess I'm not going to be in the action then?"

"Hopefully, there won't be any action."

The two men stood from the pile of snow. They carefully watch their surroundings, keeping an eye of every movement in the woods. They are after all in hostile ground.

"Now the only thing that can ruin this plan is Seff himself..."

"That, or a stranger."

Both men paused. Flynn realized what he just said. Both men paused as another set of possibilities just aroused in their mind.

"If someone else is involved, a 'stranger' per say, he wouldn't say anything about us right?" Lee asked Flynn.

"Well, he knows about the rules. Out of all of us, he's probably the most unlikely individual to break the rules." Flynn proudly smiled and confidently said, "He won't let a stranger on board, and he will probably be the last person to reveal any of the Legion's secret."

"Wait, let me get this straight. Are you saying that there are other worlds out there?" Anna said, whilst constantly pulling her legs out of the deep snow only to shove them in again, trying to walk forward.

"Yea, please don't share it with anyone. You can with Kristoff, but no one else." Requests Seff to princess

"Why is that?"

"Because it's supposed to be a secret, OUR secret." Seff presses.

"Why did you tell me this then?"

"Well," Seff paused, he was thinking of a way to put it into words, only to realize, he wasn't really sure why himself. "I don't know. I just feel that you need to know." He answered as he smiled.

"I imagine Elsa knew too?"

"Pretty much, yea."

Anna hears his answer. At first she acted like it was nothing, but then she glanced behind her. Seff and Anna walked ahead of the rest. By 'the rest' of course were Kristoff, Olaf, Elsa, and the Reindeer, Sven. They were casually enjoying the white scenery.

Anyway, Anna is having a quick look to the rest of the group, Elsa in particular. Elsa is talking to the snowman Olaf. It seems that they were having fun, which was good for Anna. She was rather distracted, and senses that it's clear for her to ask Seff a question she's been longing to ask ever since they got off the ship.

She glances back to Seff,

"So..." she let out, "What do you think of my sister?"

"Ah... I'm sorry, what do you mean?" Seff glanced back to Anna. Needless to say, he was taken by surprise with Anna's question.

"What do you think of Elsa?" said Anna clearing her question.

"Well..." Seff hesitated, or rather, unsure of what he would say. Obviously he wouldn't want to say the wrong thing by accident, which could seriously offend her in any way. Soon after however, Anna explained as to why he doesn't have to worry about such thing.

"Don't worry, I won't tell her, that and I want an honest answer." Anna insisted.

"She will make a great queen."

"Not that." Anna protested. "Your opinion of her, as a person."

Seff hesitates some more. When she put it that way, it's even more complicated to answer the question. Nevertheless, he did answer the princess's request.

"She's... great."

"That's it? Great? Surely you think more of her. Come on, don't be shy."

"Can I really be honest?"

"Of course."

"In that case, I'm surprised. For someone who isolated herself for quite a long time, she's a great conversation partner." He said.

There's a quiet, with Anna looking brightly, smiling at him.

"Oh, I mean, she, I- I have fun with her... no, that came out wrong. I enjoy my time with her."

The way he answers her question was nothing short of amusing to Anna, and more or less as exactly as her expectation, or at least what she wanted him to say about her beloved sister.

"I'm getting a bit too close with her am I? I'm starting to forget that she's a queen."

"No, NO! You did great. I mean, it's alright, SHE seems alright with it."

"Really? I wouldn't want to get in the way of all those prince and kings."

"Prince and kings? Oh, you mean suitors?"

Without saying anything, Seff smiled, non-verbally saying a 'yes'.

"Yea but, sure there's a lot of them and Elsa received at least one marriage proposal almost every day. But, I don't think Elsa is interested in any of them."

"She eventually needs to marry one of them, given the political situation Arendelle is in, not that I'm an expert."

"Yea, you're right." As much Anna hates to admit it, she knew the truth behind Seff's words. "You know, for someone who's not from Arendelle, you're awfully concern about our wellbeing, or is it someone else you're worried about?" She then baitingly asked.

"Maybe, I'm a bit concern about your sister."

"I for one know that she can take care of herself. Although having someone by her side won't hurt." Anna yet again attempted in luring Seff in again.

"Well, whoever he is, I'm sure he's..."

"He's what Mr. Seffiroth?" said Elsa as she swoops in between the two.

"Elsa!" Anna acted surprised. "We were just casually... talking." She said, pathetically attempted to fool her.

"and you're not talking about me?" she sarcastically asked.

"Nooo... I wouldn't dare to do anything behind your back like that."

"Of course you wouldn't." Elsa smirked at her little sister, before turning to Seff. "So, Mr. Seffiroth, about whom I'll be married to, you were saying..."

Now, Anna and Seff knew she heard the whole thing. Seff wasn't even trying to deny it.

"I'm saying; whoever he is, I'm sure he's... an extremely lucky guy."

Hearing, Elsa can't help to smile, whilst Anna silently thank Seff for acting so cool-headed with her sister. The princess think she could get away with it, until Elsa glances back to her.

"I won't let you off the hook that easy." Elsa cheekily smiled.

That's when Anna gulped down in terror of what her sister about to do to her. Unexpectedly, so does Seff, at least that's what he looks like, stop in his track whilst looking scared and gulped down.

"What's wrong?" Elsa asked.

"I... forgot about this part." He said, still looking in front.

Anna and Elsa turned to where he's looking, only to see a bridge, a hanging bridge. The hanging a bridge stretch across a wide gap in the ground. Under it was a few hundreds foot drop into a shallow river. The bridge was in a bad shape, not that it's any help to Seff if it was in a good condition due to his 'certain fear'.

"Oh," Elsa let out, already understanding his problem.

Anna went ahead to edge of the cliff. She looked down, and discouragingly said. "That's a long way down."

"I know that, Anna." Seff nervously said. Still trying his best to forget that there's a cliff there.

Anna turned to her sister, puzzled as to why Seff would look so scared. "What's wrong with him?"

"He, Uhm..."

"I'm scared of height, alright." Seff shouted.

"You? Scared of height? That's..." Anna's cheek puffed and she was about to let out a giggle, until Elsa let out her intimidating stare to her. Needless to say, she immediately followed up her unfinished sentence with, "... perfectly normal. Nothing wrong with it." along with a nervous looking smile.

Elsa looked across. It's not long before an idea crossed her minds. "I could build a bridge here."

The group thought it was a good idea, especially Anna and Kristoff. They would rather cross a solid bridge made out of ice other than a bridge supported by strands of old ropes. Especially, when showed how the bridge wiggle around as the wind blows on it.

Elsa too seems confident. She's done this before, and that's when she hadn't completely grasp her power. There's no reason for her to have problems.

She waved her hand and let out a sprinkle of snow. Forming the rough shape of a bridge. She then stomps her right foot down, eliminating the rough edges of ice on the surfaces of the bridge. Now she's left with the smooth, beautifully crafted, half-completed, ice bridge. The next step would be to complete the bridge, and this by far the easiest part for Elsa. She positioned herself as if she was about to push something. She perform such motion, and as she did, sprinkles of ice and snow came out rapidly from both of her hands. In seconds, the bridge was done.

The bridge itself was beautiful, not that it was necessary for it to be beautiful. After all, they just need something to cross the massive drop with. Elsa even think that she might overdid it a litle. The curve and carving of the railing, was all done within seconds, and they resemble something from a professional ice carver. The flooring and the railing was all made out of ice, clear ice. The whole thing was a work of art.

Seff would be lying if he said he wasn't impressed.

"Wow." Was the only word came out from his jaw-dropped mouth.

"Now," she said smiling "shall we cross?"

Olaf was the first to try the newly built ice bridge. The snowman soon followed by Sven. Only until Sven reach halfway across that Anna and Kristoff was confident about the strength of the ice bridge. The reindeer only problem crossing the bridge was that it was really slippery. Following not far behind was the rest of the group, except it was only Anna and Kristoff.

Elsa stayed with Seff. Apparently, Elsa's ice bridge creates new issue for Seff. It doesn't have anything to do with its credibility. Seff trust Elsa fully, he knows the bridge will hold. It's not the strength he doubt, in fact he didn't doubt anything about the bridge. Elsa was still wondering about the problem with her bridge that makes Seff still unsure about stepping onto the bridge, that is until she stepped there herself, all the while looking down.

Elsa's beautiful ice bridge was made with ice, clear ice. The problem soon became apparent. It's see-through, the ice floor bed of the bridge. She can practically see straight down, seeing firsthand how far down the drop actually was. Elsa can expect Seff to feel reluctant stepping onto her bridge after that, and she apologized for it.

"I'm sorry. I'll fix it."

"No, don't. I wouldn't want you to alter such beautiful bridge, would I?"

"We don't have to go if you don't want to."

"No, I think I'll go." He took a deep breath. "I'll cross. Just... give me a moment."

He took another deep breath, twist his neck to the left and right.

"Elsa," he calls.

"Yes?"

"Can I ask you a favor?"

"Sure."

"Can you... uhm, can you hold my hand?"

Elsa was taken aback by the request. She blushed, and for a short moment faced away from Seff to hide it. Apparently Seff wasn't joking. Height really scared him that much. It took Elsa a while to react, but in the end she answered with a light; "Of course." And slowly lend her hand.

Without second thought, he grasps it. Elsa can legitimately felt the warmth of his hand, and also, his strength. The young man really held her hand thight.

"Right, don't look down." He said, as he start to walk forward, carefully.

Meanwhile, on the other side, someone is holding in the temptation to scream in joy. It was Anna, and she was gasping heavily on the side of Kristoff. Needless to say, this was no short of strange for him. He could almost imagine his girlfriend let out a high pitch scream that could start an avalanche. Thank god she didn't.

Back to the two, Elsa and Seff, are now halfway across. They're making progress, and that's when Seff started to get hasty.

"Wait, slow down." Told Elsa.

Unsurprisingly, Seff slipped in the ice, which scares the living soul out of him. He panicked, and by accident pulling Elsa with him. Elsa was taken by surprise, causing her to fall, and landing on her bum. It was not very queen like, how she fell.

"Ow,"

Seff frantically apologize for it. "Oh dear, I'm sorry, are you okay?"

Elsa, unexpectedly for Seff, began to laugh. "I'm fine." She said whilst smiling.

The two soon cleared the bridge and joined the other, all before leaving in laughter.

A few minutes of walking through the thick pile of snow, they finally arrived at their destination.

"Welcome to the Grey Stone Castle."

"Wow." Said Anna astonished, "this place is a lot bigger up close then from up there on the high ground."

The group stared blankly to the old stone structure. It looks abandoned, although not quite a ruin. It still stand tall despite the heavy wind and being buried under a thick pile of fresh powder.

They were greeted by a single gate. It was breached it seems, as it was now half destroyed and leaving a massive hole in the big wooden door. As they walked inside, they entered a beautiful, wide open area. It was the castle's stone courtyard.

"This place is huge." Said Elsa.

"Yes. it. is." Said Seff agreeing. "Come on, let's get inside."

Inside was a mess. Nevertheless, the high ceiling hall that greeted them once they're inside was more than capable to amaze the royal sisters. That's not all there is to it.

Basically, where the group now is the main entrance hall, with its red carpet and portraits of old well-dressed gentlemen hung on the wall left and right. Thanks to the many holes in the high roof, the room can be lit nicely, making the painting and other contents of the room easier to see.

It's dusty, really dusty, what you expect from an old abandoned castle. As the group went deeper into the castle, the rubble, dust, and sign of nature taking over started to show its tail. One example of that is at an open area.

"This would be the castle garden courtyard."

The sisters dropped their jaw. They never have one in their own palace, so seeing an open area inside the castle is kind of fun. Of course, it's the cursed land, eternal winter has turned the once green courtyard and covered it with snow.

"Well, it was supposed to be full of flower." Seff said, rather disappointed after showing them that.

The only thing puffing through the snow is what's left of the wild grass and a purple flower. Everything else sadly was just the white of the snow and the grey of the castle.

Elsa ducked down to one of the flower. Gently she brushed the masses of purple flowers with her hand.

"You can pick it up if you want." Came a voice. It was Seff, standing right next to her. He then further stated, "It's not like it's a something rare here." Referring to all the purple flower growing in the garden courtyard.

Elsa glances around, making sure Anna and everyone else still in visual range.

"Are you sure this place is safe?" she asked, still crouched.

Seff can somewhat understand her concern. "Well, it isn't completely safe if that what you're asking..." he said as he himself crouched down to her level. "...but, If it makes you feel any better, they think this place is haunted so I doubt they'll get anywhere near this place." He finishes with a smile.

He stops and picked up one of the purple flower. "Here..." he said giving it to Elsa.

"Eh?"

"Wear it on your ear."

"Like this?" the ice queen said, doing what Seff told her.

The result was nothing short of what Seff had expected, maybe even surpassed that. "Wow, you look..."

"What is it?"

"...pretty."

In that one word, Elsa faced away, trying to hide her red cheek with both of her hands.

"Y-you're too kind..." she also said in return of Seff's compliment.

Seff then stood up, he brushes away the snow sticking to his pants. "You know, if this land wasn't cursed with an eternal winter, we could probably have a decent picnic here."

"I would love that." Elsa responded with a smile.

The two walked to a stone bench and sat. Seff unties his sword and lean it against the bench. Elsa then started a conversation.

"You seems to know your way around this place."

Seff answered, "Yea, I was made familiar to this castle. Now, I know it like the back of my hand."

Then came a shout from the queen's younger sister, Anna. "Hey Elsa! We should a garden like this in our own castle. I'm sure it'll be great."

Elsa gave the suggestion a light laughter, "I'm sure it will, although I don't think we have enough room for a garden."

"I'm sure we'll figure that out." Anna then optimistically answers back.

Elsa then turned back to Seff, "Maybe when we do have a garden, we could have that picnic you mentioned, all of us."

"Sounds great, although I don't think I can with the amount of work stack up right now. That's the beauty of my job, there's always something to do." He said in a sarcastic tone.

He then stood back up from the bench. "We should get going, there's still plenty more to see in this castle."

"Right," Elsa said as she rises up as well. "Anna! Come on!"

"Just a minute." She gave a shout back. "I guess we'll have to continue this later on Mr. Bjorgman."

"Whaa-? I'm sure we can do this now."

"No... come on." Anna said as she pulls her lover from the snowy ground. They were, just a moment ago, "playing" in the snow. I'll let your imagination plays from there.

"So, lead the way Mr. Tour guide." She jokingly teased Seff.

"Well, let's see, should we start with the west wing or the east wing? Anna."

"Eh? Ah... umm. I don't know, I think you should decide on this one."

"West wing it is then." He said as he led the group, turning right on the split hallway, headed towards the west wing of the castle.

"I mean... it's half destroyed, but I think there's some interesting room there." he said explaining, Seff then stopped in front of a door. "Room... like... this one." he said.

He grabbed the handle of the rusty old door and twist it, or at least he tried. "Ahh, it's lock."

As the other wait in anticipation, Seff thought up a solution. "Wait a sec, let me just..." as the young reached for his sword tied to his belt, and only to find that it's not there.

"Ahh, damn."

"What is it?"

"My sword. I must've left it back at the garden. Wait here, I'll...-"

"Let me get it for you." Elsa said interrupting.

"You sure? I can get it myself."

"Yes." the queen said surely, "You don't have to worrie about me that much Seff, I can take care of myself."

"I'll go with her." Anna volunteered, raising her hand.

To the extent of the royal sisters, Seff can only smile. "Okay, be quick."

The sisters than left the group in a hurry, headed towards the castle's courtyard. They ran back to the ground floor, down the stair and into the cold winter air of the cursed peninsula. The snow started to fall again. After they're confident they are well out of sight, they begun to walk normally again.

"Why did you do that?" asked Anna frustrated.

"What?" Elsa asked back, confused.

"You! Volunteering?! If you let me volunteer, I could bring Kristoff and Olaf with me, leaving you alone with him.

Elsa giggled a bit. "Look, I like him, but don't you think you're a little bit overreacting."

"Pfft, overreact? I'm your sister, I'm supposed overreact to this kind of thing." Anna defended. "You I know I love you, right?"

"Of course you are, I love you too." Elsa said, on then she continues with a hug. Anna definetly felt the warm of her sister, which was kind of ironic since she is the ice queen. A few seconds they parted from their hugging.

"Thank you, but for now, can we just find Seff's sword?"

"Uh-uh." said Anna nodding.

"Good. If I remember correctly it's here somewhere... Ah! There it is."

Elsa sprinted towards the sheathed curved sword and picked it up. "Now let's get back."

"Don't you want to see it?" Anna asked a cheeky question. "I mean, I want to see it a lot closer. A black colored sword weren't exactly normal."

Elsa paused, and after thinking for a while, "I hope Seff wouldn't mind."

"Oh, I'm sure he wouldn't. I don't think he can get angry with you." Anna jokingly retorts.

Elsa unsheathed the black curved sword, causing a distinctive ringing noise. The black sword was almost polished, reflecting the falling snow and the faces of both of the royal.

"Well, it sure is pretty." Anna praises.

"Hmm... what is it made of?" Elsa asked curious. She holds the sword in one hand and proceeds to touch it with the other. The young queen's fingers brushes the beautiful black sword with grace and gentleness.

"Well, it feel like steel, it's surprisingly light though." Elsa commented.

Then something unexpected happened.

The whole metal section suddenly froze and covered with ice. Elsa panicked, she thought she controlled her power to not freeze the sword. She didn't understand how her power suddenly just loose like that.

"Oh dear," worries Anna.

"Oh no, no, no..."

"Elsa, relax."

"My power, I can't unfreeze it."

"Elsa, hold on. I'm sure you didn't do anything wrong."

Elsa however, wasn't at all listening. "Oh no, it's happening again. My power, I lost control of my power."

Well, that's it for now... see you in the next chapter, which may very well be 2 weeks from now.

I wanted to say happy summer, but we don't have summer here, haha. Legion signing out... Taraa~
