Alright guys I am back sorry about the long delay here my computer broke and it may break again soon but for now I have a temporary fix in place so I should be good for a bit.

The Emperors lost son. The legion without a primarch

Chapter 3

Location: Segmentum Obscures

Planet: unknown

Date: 41st millennium

In the med bay we find two hulking figures dressed in white armor with blue shoulder pauldrons with gold trim as well as a woman in a lab coat holding an ausupex and a smaller man in armor standing there talking.

"So what is the final word on the situation Chief-Apothecary Michalus?"Asked Gideon.

Then the apothecary replied. "Well as you have no doubt seen in the scans the boy is heavily augmented with the normal augmentations of a space marine plus a few that even I do not know what they are however a few of the augmentations from the original are missing from the boy's body."

"Yes which is most odd as the procedure is done all at once as to keep the organs and implants from being rejected by the hosts system. There are also several anomalies with his gene seed implant it is not the proper implant but more like a naturally grown organ which would be impossible unless this boy truly is a primarch." Said the second apothecary.

"So what you are saying is that there is no way of saying he is not a primarch but also no way of confirming it either correct?" asked Miss Alana

"All records of the other primarchs being found where during the 30th millennium that and the Emperor himself confirmed all of his sons in person so there is no way of telling for sure unless he rises from his throne. Until then we can either find the legion with a matching gene seed and let them decide if he is there primarch or wait for him to age a few years and let his full abilities show themselves then go from there to see if we can identify his legion chapter based on his abilities." Said the Chief-Apothecary.

"This all seems very complex you would think you would have figured out a way to know if he was a primarch or not." Gideon said

"Yes you would but as of yet we still have no ideas on how to tell without a doubt because we never thought we would find another primarch as all but 2 where accounted for and there was no way that they were on any previously discovered worlds so we assumed they would be lost on a world in the Warp Storm or that they had perished on some Emperor forsaken world." Said the Chief-Apothecary

"Huh makes sense I guess but still there has to be a way to check and see for certain." said Gideon

"As I said no there is not so it is best if we find the boy and tell him the news." said the Chief-Apothecary

We know not the answer to the question we came here to find but for now Chief-Apothecary I feel the need to return to the ship and begin the storage and dispersal of this information through the ranks with your permission." Said the second Apothecary

"Permission granted head back to the Thunderhawk immediately." Said the Chief-Apothecary

A few minutes later in the courtyard

"Hey Brick nice try but as the saying goes the bigger they are the harder they fall."

"Yeah shut it yah little punk just because you can beat me a few time doesn't mean anything special just means you know how to through a punch and dodge around a little bit if it was a real hand to hand combat duel between you and say an eldar the eldar would win hands down and besides this isn't over yet." Said Brick

"Okay whatever you just don't want to admit that I am better than you at sparring." said Reven

But then they see several people and a space marine apothecary approaching them and they immediately stop sparring and return to the opposite sides of the makeshift arena they were in.

"Hey Gideon what did you guys find out about the scans." Reven asked

"Well you have the genetic augmentation of your average space marine and few deferent ones to boot but unless we figure out a way to tell for certain then there is no way of knowing and while your physical condition is the same as what would be expected of a primarchs muscle growth at your age that could also be attributed to the fact that you have lived all your life alone and in the jungle till now." Said Gideon

"And what is that supposed to mean that the Chief-Apothecary can't tell if I am a space marine or even a primarch because a vox scanner messed up." Said Reven

"that's not what I meant and you know it what the Apothecary said about you went along the lines of I cannot confirm or deny that he is a primarch without the emperor himself telling me hell you think they would have figured something out to tell the deference." Said Gideon

"Yeah I know what you mean don't worry about it but here is the big question what do we do know do I just get left here or do I have to go with them and leave you behind." said Reven

Well that is where I come in Lord Reven you will have to come with us as we cannot let an augmented human let alone a latent psyker wander unattended plus we need to keep you nearby so we can keep an eye on your abilities and see how they progress." said the Chief-Apothecary

"Well I guess that is settled then so I guess this is goodbye Gideon and may the Emperor's light let us meet again one day my friend stay safe and keep brick alive I still have a sparring match to win against him." Said Reven

"Good bye Reven it has been nice getting to know you and I will try to keep Brick alive but he is a stubborn old fool so I don't know if I can." Said Gideon with a smile

Then after saying goodbye the two friends went their separate ways not knowing if they will ever see each other again or not and as Reven walked up the ramp of the thunder hawk and the hatch finally closed there was one thought going through every ones mind "who is this boy and what does the future hold for him."

Guys I don't know if the story here will make it past this chapter I have not got a lot of views or messages saying anything about whether you guys like it or not so I am posting a poll on my wall it will last for 2 weeks (10/8/2014) in it I will be asking if I should continue this story or make a new one please let me know
