Chapter 13 Sleep Over

Samao, Ajin, and Toshiro arrived at Chad's apartment to get Toshiro's things for the sleep over at Ajin's house.

"Are you going to introduce us to, Sado?" asked Ajin excitedly.

"If he is here I will," replied Toshiro.

They went inside the apartment. "Hello!" shouted Ajin.

"Who's Captain Hitsugayu?" asked Samao looking at a note on the table.

"That's me," said Toshiro picking up the note.

The note said:

Captain Hitsugaya, Urahara has asked me to stay over at the shop this weekend. Apparently he is working on something and needs an extra hand looking after the shop. You are welcome to come if you wish. Sincerely, Sado.

"What kind of shop does this Urahara run?" asked Samao.

"Special orders," said Ajin.

"Actually, it's a candy shop," replied Toshiro.

"A Candy Shop!" cried Ajin. "Can we go?"

"How about we go over tomorrow," suggested Samao, "As our sleep over trip."

"Alright," said Ajin.

"I'm going to get my things," said Toshiro. After Toshiro got his things they went to Samao's house.

"Hi, mom," said Samao greeting his mother when they got there. "This is my new friend Toshiro Histugaya."

Samao's mother smiled at them, but her smile quickly vanished. "You cannot be friends with him."

"Why not?" asked Toshiro.

"You have no idea where he comes from." She said ignoring Toshiro. "He could be a fake."

"But Mom," said Samao

"No!"

"It's okay, Samao," said Toshiro. "I'll leave." He walked out the door.

"Wait!" cried Samao.

"You go get your stuff. I'll go after him," said Ajin.

Ajin found Toshiro standing on the sidewalk looking at Samao's house. "You're still coming over, right?" asked Ajin.

"Yes," said Toshiro.

"Great," smiled Ajin, "What about Samao?"

"If he still wants to be friends then we will stay friends."

"I'm glad to hear that," said Ajin. "Samao has never had that many friends because of his Mom.

Samao came out. "Your still here!" he said sounding surprised.

"I'm used to people judging me before they get to know me," said Toshiro.

"I was hoping that she wouldn't act like that this time," said Samao.

"Why does she act like that?" asked Toshiro.

"I think it's because my Dad abandoned us when I was little," replied Samao.

"Then she is just overprotective of you," said Toshiro.

"Yeah," said Samao. "But no one wants to be my friend because of it."

"All you need is one friend any more than that is a blessing," said Toshiro encouragingly.

"I never thought of that," said Samao.

"That's a cool sayin'," said Ajin.

"A friend back in the academy told me that when I thought that I was all alone," said Toshiro.

"Can we go to my house now?" asked Ajin.

"Sure," said Samao.

"Lead the way," said Toshiro.

Ajin walked to the house right next to Samao's house.

"We are neighbors!" cried Ajin opening the door.

"I'm home and I brought my new friend!"

Suddenly Toshiro was surrounded by five people.

"Please back off a little!" exclaimed Toshiro.

"Don't be rude, son," said Ajin's Dad one of the five people who had surrounded Toshiro. Introduce us."

"Ok," said Ajin. "I'll start with Tomoko she's on the couch. She is 18." He pointed to a teenage girl on the couch she had long, loose black hair and brown eyes. "The one hiding behind the couch is Sora. She's 12." Sora had long brown hair that was in her brown eyes.

"Me next," said a young boy with black clean cut hair and brown eyes.

"No, I'm next because Sora and I are twins," said a girl with shoulder length brown hair and brown eyes.

"Yep you are next," said Ajin. "This is Shinobu."

"I'm Daichi," said the boy who said 'Me next'. "I'm 9"

"I'm Minoru," said a boy who looked like a smaller version of Daichi. "I'm 5."

"And this is Ryou," said Ajin picking up a little boy who looked to be the same age as Yua. "And Of course that's my Dad."

"Hi," said Ajin's Dad. "Are you the one that Ajin says will help him and Samao to be heroes?"

"He is," replied Ajin.

"I know you will make a great team," said Ajin's Dad.

"We will see," said Toshiro.

"Oh," said Ajin. "Mom is in the kitchen come on." Ajin grabbed Toshiro's arm and took him to the kitchen.

"You didn't tell us your friend's name!" shouted Shinobu.

"Yeah," said Daichi. "And does he like anime? He can't be your friend unless he likes anime."

"His name is Toshiro Hitsugya," said Samao. "And I don't know if he likes animes."

"Hi, Mom," said Ajin to the lady who was cooking. "This is my friend Toshiro. Toshiro this is my Mom. And Mom, He is the one who will help Samao and I be heroes!"

"It is a pleasure to meet you, and Ajin I want you to be careful I know your visions say that you and your friends will be heroes but it is dangerous to be a hero," said Ajin's Mom.

"We'll watch each other's backs," promised Ajin.

"So you believe that his visions will come true?" asked Toshiro.

"Yes," replied Ajin's Mom. "Being able to see the future runs in the family. In fact, my grandfather told me that one of my children will have the gift stronger than anyone in our family has had for a long time."

"Yeah," said Ajin. "He taught me a lot about it before he passed away last year. He told me that one day I will be able to see ghosts like him but unlike him I would have the power to help them and kill hollows."

"Did your great grandfather talk to the ghosts?" asked Toshiro.

"Yep," replied Ajin. "In fact, he told me that he talked to the king and queen of the soul society."

"WHAT!?" exclaimed Toshiro.

"Do you watch anime?" interrupted Daichi.

"What?" said Toshiro his mind still on the conversion he was having with Ajin and Ajin's Mother.

"Do you watch anime?" repeated Daichi.

"What's anime?" asked Toshiro.

Everyone stopped what they were doing and stared at Toshiro in surprise.

"Oh, I get it," said Ajin's Dad. "You're joking."

"No, I'm not," said Toshiro.

"Don't you watch T.V.?" asked Minoru.

"No," said Toshiro. "Where I'm from we don't watch T.V. for entertainment. We use it only for the security system."

"Ok, everyone," said Daichi, "Let's all write down our favorite anime then tell him a little about it so he can decide which one we are having a marathon on tonight."

"I have a better idea;" said Ajin's Dad, "Let's let Ajin and Samao pick which anime we will have a marathon on since Toshiro is their friend."

"I pick," said Ajin, "Avatar the Last Airbender because that is mine and Samao's favorite anime."

"Ok," said Ajin's Dad. "Is everyone alright with that?"

"That's not an anime," said Tomoko.

"Yes it is," said Ajin.

"It was made in America," said Tomoko.

"But the animation was done in Korea," said Ajin, "And some of our animes in Japan are also animated in Korea. So that makes Avatar the Last Airbender an anime."

"It does have many similarities to animes," said Ajin's Mom, "So if Ajin and Samao what to show Toshiro Avatar then we should watch it.

"Fine," said Tomoko, "But it still isn't an anime."

"Ok, Avatar the Last Airbender marathon starts now!" said Ajin's Dad.

Everyone but Ajin's mom went to the living room and watched the show. When dinner was ready Ajin's Mom got Tomoko to help dish out the food. Everyone stayed in the living room for the marathon.

"Aren't we going to sit at the table?" asked Toshiro.

"Not on Marathon night," said Ajin, Ajin's Dad, Daichi, Minoru, Samao, and Shinobu together.

"Ok," said Toshiro.

They stayed up and watched all three seasons of Avatar The Last Airbender. Ryou climbed into Toshiro's lap and fell asleep. Daichi and Minoru fell asleep on their Dad.

"So, how did you like it?" asked Ajin.

"We need an honest answer," said Shinobu.

"I really liked it," said Toshiro. "Except for the fact that Aang and Katara are together, Katara should be with Zuko."

"Alright!" cried Ajin. "You are a Zutara fan!"

"Aang and Katara do belong together," said Tomoko.

"Now let's don't start that debate tonight," said Ajin's Mom taking Ryou from Toshiro. "It's really late, and Ajin, Samao, and Toshiro have their sleep over trip tomorrow."

"Where are you going tomorrow?" asked Ajin's Dad.

"Urahara's shop," said Samao.

"He sells candy!" Ajin said excitedly.

Toshiro's phone rang.

"Who's that?" asked Ajin.

"It's Urahara," replied Toshiro, "Hello," He said answering it. There was a pause. "Just tell me why you're calling me." There was silence again as Urahara talked. "Why not?" He asked Urahara, and Urahara answered his question. "I still don't see why unless it is illegal." There was a click. "He hung up on me."

"What was that about?" asked Samao.

"Uraharu wants me to stay away from his shop this weekend," said Toshiro. "So we want don't be going there tomorrow."

"I don't think you should go somewhere where they might be doing something illegal any way," said Ajin's Mom.

"It's usually for a good reason," said Toshiro.

"What are you going to do now?" asked Tomoko.

"You have to go somewhere tomorrow," said Shinobu.

"But we've been everywhere," said Samao.

"What's the big deal?" asked Toshiro.

"We always go some place one of us has never been to on the next day of our sleep over," explained Samao.

"Well, there are lots of places I haven't been," said Toshiro.

"That's it," cried Ajin. "We will take you to our favorite anime store, and we can teach you more about anime."

"That sounds good," said Toshiro.

"Then the three of you should get some sleep," said Ajin's Mom. "It's 3 o'clock in the morning."

Everyone went to bed.

Toshiro woke up smelling breakfast. He sat up and noticed that Ajin and Samao weren't in the room. Got up and got dress and went to the dining room where everyone was sitting at the table eating breakfast. "I never wake up this late," thought Toshiro as he sat in the empty chair.

"Why didn't anyone wake me up?" he asked.

"Because Ajin and I just got up ourselves," said Samao.

"Let's eat so we can go on our trip," said Ajin.

"Can I come?" asked Daichi.

"No," said Ajin.

"Why not?" asked Daichi.

"Now Daichi," said Ajin's Dad. "When you have your sleep over and take your trip you don't want Ajin to come so you need to stay out of his sleep over trips."

"Ok," said Daichi.

"Why are you staring at Ryou?" asked Soro

"Because he's not making a mess," replied Toshiro.

"Ryou doesn't like to get things all messy," said Ajin's Mom.

"Come on let's go," said Ajin who had just finished eating.

"Give us time to finish our breakfast," said Samao.

They finished eating. Ajin, Samao, and Toshiro left going to Ajin and Samao's favorite anime store.

"Here we are," said Ajin.

Half the store was DVD and the other half was manga.

Samao picked up a manga, "Some animes start out as a manga."

"The one last night wasn't a manga first," said Ajin.

They showed Toshiro all kinds of mangas and animes. Toshiro decide to read the Fullmetal Alchemist series and bought some. Ajin and Somao were glad that Toshiro was showing interest.

"Let's get some ice cream now!" shouted Ajin as they left the store.

"Ice cream?" said Toshiro looking pale, "I'll pass."

"Why?" asked Samao looking puzzled.

"Because every time Orihime describes it it's always topped with things I don't think is supposed to be combined," replied Toshiro.

"So you never had it," both Ajin and Samao said.

"That's right," said Toshiro.

"That is an injustice," said Ajin grabbing Toshiro's arm to drag him to the ice cream parlor.

"Don't worry," said Samao "We'll start simple."

"Three fudge sundaes please," said Ajin walking up to the counter.

"Of course," said the lady behind the counter.

Ajin paid and then the lady started to make them.

"This is a basic ice cream," said Samao, "The only ice cream more basic then this is plain vanilla."

"Here you go," said the Lady.

"Thank you," they all three said together.

They sat down and Toshiro took a bite.

"Well," said Ajin.

"It's good," said Toshiro a little surprised that he liked it.

"We should have another sleep over next weakened," said Ajin.

"My Mom won't let me come two weakeneds in a row," said Samao.

"We can still do something," said Toshiro.

"Yeah," said Ajin. "After all we are a team now!"

Me: If you review I will give you some of my mama's fudge. If you don't review I will send Kurotsuchi after you.

Kurotsuchi: Aren't sleepovers for girls?

Me: Boys do it to.

Kurotsuchi: Then name someone who has.

Me: My husband said he used to have sleepovers with his friends in high school.

Kurotsuchi: Then he is a sissy boy. All boys who have sleepovers are Sissy Boys.

Me: You don't know anything about him, and you shouldn't insult the readers.

Kurotsuchi: How do you know I'm insulting them? All your readers could be girls for all you know.

Me: But what you said wasn't nice.

Kurotsuchi: I say a lot of things that aren't nice.
