A/N: So for starters I'm sorry it's taken so long for me to update this but for whatever reason I was having trouble finishing things after I started them but Anyway here's an update finally and hopefully the next one won't be as long! Anyway this came to me as I was thinking about the fact that Tony seems to be icing his one shoulder a lot so I thought sooner or later it would start to bother him and here it is! Enjoy!

"Ow, Pepper," Tony squawked, "What are you doing?"
"You've got a knot right here," Pepper said with a sigh, "You wanted me to make your shoulder stop bothering you and this is what's doing it but I can't fix it unless you sit still."
"It hurts," Tony whined, shifting when she started on the knot again.
"Well if you leave it it's only going to get worse," Pepper said, trying to put a tone into her voice he would listen to.
"Maybe it'll get better on its own," Tony said, more to himself than Pepper.
"It won't and you're not going to leave it to find out," Pepper said firmly, "It'll be harder to work out and I'll have to deal with it."
"Fine," Tony said pouting, knowing she was right.
Pepper smiled triumphantly as she settled herself onto Tony's bum so she was straddling him and she had the perfect amount of space to work.
"Can you at least try to be a little gentler?" Tony half whined.
"I'll do my best," Pepper said as she started to work the knot a different way.
She started to put more pressure into it and Tony moved a little but she could tell he was putting in an effort to make it easier for her to do what she needed to. After trying a few different angles she finally worked out the knot and decided she might as well give Tony a full shoulder rub while she was at it.
"There how does that feel?" Pepper asked once she finished up.
"You're amazing," Tony beamed as she rolled his shoulder, "It doesn't hurt at all anymore."
"Good I'm glad I could help," Pepper said softly before leaning to place a soft kiss where the knot had been.
"The rest of my back is kind of bothering me too," Tony added hoping she would take pity on him.
Pepper knew as soon as he told her she was amazing he'd want a full massage and she didn't have to see his face to know the look that most likely accompanied his tone.
"Would you like me to fix that?" Pepper asked softly.
"Well you don't have to," Tony said, starting to move, "I guess I'll survive."
"Oh hush," Pepper said placing a hand on his shoulder to pin him down, "Sit still."
She worked down from his shoulders making sure to give the many knots she came across extra attention and she wasn't surprised when by the time she was finished Tony was so relaxed he was starting to doze.
"Better?" Pepper asked as she slid from her place on his bum to sit beside him on the bed.
"Perfect," Tony mumbled in a sleepy tone as he rolled onto his back and slowly sat up.
He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close before lying back down and bringing her with him. He planted a kiss on her lips before moving to let her settled into his side.
"You're the best girlfriend you know that," Tony said into her hair.
"I think you may have told me once or twice," Pepper said with a small giggle at his exaggeration.
"Well good because it's true," Tony said, making his point by kissing her again.
Pepper smiled into the kiss and reached up to start running her fingers through his hair. Tony sighed into her lips before breaking the kiss.
"Do you wanna take a nap?" Pepper asked watching as his eyelids drooped.
"Maybe just a little one," Tony hummed, scooting down the bed a little so Pepper had better access to his hair and pulling her closer.
"Alright," Pepper said, letting him reposition before starting to run her fingers through his hair again.
It didn't take long for Tony to start snoring softly into her chest. Pepper kept up her ministrations until she started to feel tired herself then she placed a kiss on the top of Tony's head before letting herself drift off.
