Hello, and welcome to another Possible DxD. I really need to remember to take some time to actually update, rather then just sit on my but and work on ideas. Well, I embarrassed myself again with being lazy...good thing I blew myself up in a comical fashion earlier. Well, I hope you enjoy. Also, I've been working on other Highschool DxD ideas, including The Stoppable Phenex, which is an alternate version of this with Ron as the Devil and Kim as the reincarnated Devil...sometimes things change and are the same.

Disclaimer: Neither shadowwriter329 or myself own Kim Possible or Highschool DxD.

~Life 5: A Calm before a Storm~

Shego stirred from a sleep, and she wasn't in her usual places, not the hideout in Paris or any of Drakken's lairs, and she sat up, clothed in a green nightgown as she noticed Kim, in black silk pajamas.

"Good morning Shego, or should I say Sheila Go." Shego blinked seeing Kim, and was confused about how she knew her name, but decided to prioritizing getting into the younger girl's face.

"Alright princess, what the hell happen? Why am I in bed with you? Who the hell dress me? And how the hell did you know my name?"

Kim just smiled not at all intimidated, "In order, last night you nearly died, and in order to save you, you chose to become my queen. You are in my bed because we were both tired last night, and it was the best way to heal your injuries. I dressed you in some of my mom's stuff, as you two are about the same size. As for finding out your name," Kim smiled cheekily as she scratched her head, "Would you believe it is because we formed a bond when you joined my peerage and I found out some secrets? If that doesn't convince you, then I had Wade get some information on you in the past."

Shego narrowed her eyes before she got up from the bed. She checked herself over and lifted her chest past her bare breast to see no injury, not even a scar to show it was ever there. Shego lowered her shirt.

"Well still unbelievable that fact you're a devil, and now I am one." She then added, "What do you mean by queen? I remember that devil mention something about worth two knights. I hope I'm not married to you or anything."

Shego said that last part as a joke to tease her. but Kim laughed and waved her off, "Actually no we're not. Remember the war I told you about? The number of loses on all sides were so great they called for a cease fire. In order to increase the number of devils the Evil Piece System was created so we can created more devils rather than try and have our numbers increase the normal way. We are given pieces of a chess set. When I gained mine, the King Piece was absorbed into me. That left me with one Queen, two Knights, Bishops and Rooks and eight Pawns."

Shego thought it over, "So when you say Queen, you mean your Queen piece?"

Kim nodded as she also got out of bed, "Yep, Queens are the most powerful and most valued in any peerage. So far besides you I only have one bishop, knight and rook left."

Shego raised a brow, "Wow I am actually impressed. Anyone I know?"

Kim smiled, "Well Ron is my pawn, he took all eight of them."

Shego blinked before she snorted "So the sidekick is the weakest piece, no surprise there."

Kim scowled, "Pawns may be underestimated but they can help greatly. When playing chest what are pawn used for?"

"Distractions, sacrifices, cannon fodder," Shego listed off all she uses pawns for. "Mego was always a fan of the Chinese wall defense."

Kim sighed as while Shego was right that was not the point, "And when you get one to the other side you can trade up. That's what Ron can do. When he's deep in enemy territory, or when I give permission, he can 'promote' himself and gain any of the abilities of the other pieces."

Shego raises a brow seeing that ability as useful. "So what are the abilities? I take it that knights gets speed from what our friend did last night."

Kim nodded, "Yes, and it's common for Knights to use weapons to make themselves more effective in fighting. Rooks gain super human strengt and durability. Bishops gain skill in magic and are usually support with long rang or healing. Queen's gain all of those but at a higher level. You also get a big increase in what skill is your best. If you have great speed, you well get even faster, very good at magic, the power goes up a lot. It is one reason queens have such a high value."

Shego took it all in and wondered how much stronger she will become. "So what now?"

Kim led the way down the stairs, "For now we eat, meet the others, and work to get you to become one of our teachers at school."

"Wait what?" Shego was surprised at the idea of getting a job as a teacher, and that's because she preferred to have her own tempo of things. The fact that she liked playing the bad guy was only for the entertainment value.

"You said you had the degree for it and you need to be close to me. It keeps you safe and helps all of us." Kim countered, and it was a good argument. What better way to lay low then by hiding in plain sight?

Shego sighed but figured it was better then nothing. She then asked, "What about that power you used last night, and do your parents know you have me sleeping in your bed?" Kim just smirked at that statement.

"Actually, we did nothing, and I prefer having someone else in my bed. Said person was allowed to see me naked, something you didn't get to have." Shego now wondered who the lucky guy was, and if he was already in space. But, hunger stopped her thinking and she went downstairs with Kim to eat. James was a bit more relaxed, but Ron was there already helping out with breakfast, stopping by earlier then normal.

"Morning everyone, and Ron, today I'll explain what the Rating Games are after school. Plus I might be able to change our base of operations, if we're fortunate." That got both Shego and Ron to raise their eyebrows at that, but at least it's something that they can get answered.

Shego was waiting for Kim and Ron after school, and not dressed in her usual super-villainess outfit, a reminder of her past as part of Team Go. No, instead she was in a skirt, blouse, and jacket, the typical outfit of a teacher or secretary, but she certainly made it look good. She managed to finish an interview, and would have to wait to see if she's the new Guidance Counselor, or a teacher in general. There were a number of young students that drooled over her, including a few popular boys like Josh Mankey and Brick took no motion that she noticed but she could not help but smirk to herself, 'I still got it.'

Kim and Ron walked out and headed to her, "So how did it go?" Kim asked.

Shego unlocked her car and they all got in with Ron in the back and Kim riding shotgun, "I won't know 'til tomorrow, but I think I got the job."

Kim smirked, "Great this will keep you out of trouble and close to me. And afterwards you can get my club idea up."

"What club?" Shego asked and Ron nodded his head.

Kim smiled at them, "It's a club to be our front. It will be our new base to handle our requests and other stichs as devils. My aunt has one at her school in Japan, so I figure having a club to meet at would be easier than keep meeting at my house. Ron's Tara's Monique's and Bonnie's parents would not think of them staying afterschool at a club then they would if they keep having to meet at my house."

"Makes sense," Shego muttered not sure how she feels about having the work on getting this club together. Then she turned to Kim again, "Wait you have an aunt in japan?"

Kim nodded, "Yeah she's my mother's younger sister and a pure blood devil. She has a peerage of her own, though neither of us are ready for the Rating Games."

"You mention that before but what is a rating game?" Ron asked, curious about what the Rating Games were, and he wasn't the only one.

Kim sighed, "You see when the evil piece system started out and devils were gaining their peerage there was some talk to each other. 'My queen is the strongest' 'My rook can beat yours' and stuff like that. So they started to rating games where one devil and their peerage fights another devil and peerage. Rating games are used to setting big arguments, for sport and to achieve a higher class."

"Class?" Shego asked.

"Right I forgot to mention that. You see devils have classes to show their power. From the lowest with Low class devil to the highest with Ultra high class devil. You two, like anyone who became a member of someone peerage are low class devils. When you go up to high class devil you are able to gain a peerage of your own even if you still would have to answer to me or come when I need you."

"Okay how do I get to a higher class?" Shego asked not really liking the fact she was a low level or at the same level with Ron.

"The safest is taking request and preforming them. It is however the longest. The fastest way is to show your skill in the Rating Games but I rather not risk that yet. Not without a full peerage and we are all trained better."

Ron then thought of something, "Wait if you are a devil because your mother is one…then where is her peerage?"

Shego asked, and Kim just shrugged. She didn't know why her mother never created a Peerage, or if she really had a peerage.

"I've never thought about it, but it would be rude to pry. She'll tell us if she wants to." Kim said, and they just continued on.

It had been a week since Shego applied for a teaching job and she had successfully gotten the job as the Student Guidance Counselor, and occasional substitute teacher, and she wasn't that bad at it. Everyone paid attention, and not just because she was essentially drop-dead sexy, even if it helped. It also helped she knew how to put the pressure on troublemakers. She had the least amount of detentions in any class, even less so then Barking since she was willing to bend the rules a bit. It was also in this time that she was substituting, and the bell had rang.

"Alright, make sure to review pages 189-211, and answer the review questions. Possible, Stoppable, stay a bit after class." Everyone started leaving and Shego smirked at the two in question, "We finally have an Occult Club going, all that's left is a room and members. Just let the others in the peerage know and soon. We've got 'till the end of today to get at least three or four members." Kim could not help but smile and all but ran out the door to spread the word. Shego rolled her eyes at her antics but figured she would let this slid without much teasing this time. She glanced at Ron, "C'mon Ron…still got to get used to not calling you buffoon or sidekick, lets find the room we were given."

Shego led the way out before they moved down a hall and to another door which held a sign in the window saying, Occult Research Club. "We will have to paint the sign in," Ron added.

Shego shrugged not really caring and went in. the room was bare of anything with a few chairs and desk not to mention a teacher desk. "Not much but at least princess will be happy."

"Why do you still call her that?" Ron asked "It wouldn't make much sense seeing as you are the 'Queen' now."

"Habit," Shego answered with a shrug, "besides those titles don't mean much anyways."

Kim entered a few minutes later with the rest of her peerage behind her. Kim glanced around, "We can make it to our taste later. First let's get the seal set so we can get to doing request." She paused and turned to Shego, "You did hand out the seal I gave you right?"

Shego rolled her eyes, "Yeah I came back with them gone right?"

Truthfully Shego had flyers scattered in the wind near area with heavy foot traffic and most were picked up. She also snuck several into the bags and other supplies of passersby. All of this so no one would see that she was the one handing them out. Kim sighed knowing the truth as her familiar spy on Shego from above but she at least did her job. 'She will probably do the same till she get a familiar as well.' "Alright then let's get to work."

A short while later if anyone looked at the club door they could have sworn they saw a red light peeking out from underneath.

It was a bright morning one Sunday and Ron could be found handing out fliers for request. He felt he was getting better at this part. He was handing out fliers faster, Rufus was helping and people to taking them from him better half the time. Still he was doing very well when dealing with request and even did a few with Kim as missions. Ron felt it was strange that all those time they saved the world they were helping Kim out with her request. 'I wonder how the world would react if they found out she was a devil?' he thought to himself but figured it was not worth worrying about. He turned as someone not closer to him and handed out a flier with a smile, "Here you go, I'm sure you can…" he stopped seeing the girl before him.

The girl also stopped and went wide eyed seeing Ron. Ron gulped seeing Kitten and remembers the fact she had killed him in cold blood. Rufus noticed this and raced back to Ron and gotten onto his shoulders. He growled at the fallen angle who recovered from her shock "How are you still alive? I killed you."

She then looked down at the request flier Ron still had out to her. Her eyes narrowed, "So you became a stinking devil. All the more reason you should die."

Ron took a step back scared, "Look I don't want any trouble." He glanced around but found that the area he was in was all but deserted. He knew he would not be getting any help from anyone here.

Kitten raised a hand ready to kill him again, "Having a powerful sacred gear and now a devil…scum like you have no place in the world." As she pulled her hand back another hand grabbed into it in a tight hold.

Kitten and Ron looked to see Shego holding the fallen angle's wrist. "Now I don't care what issue you have with the buffoon but I really can't let you kill him. It would cause too much of a headache for me later."

Kitten narrowed her eyes, "who are you to tell me what to do? Do you even know what he is?"

Shego snorted, "Yeah he's a dumb buffoon that cares way too much about that Mexican place that sells heart attacks with cheese. But killing him won't do anything but piss me off." She held her other hand and lit it with her powers, "And pissing me off is very bad for your health."

Kitten went wide eyed seeing Shego's hand. "Another sacred gear?" she growled but free her hand and started to walk away. "Be thankful that I am needed somewhere or I would kill you both." She was gone as she turned around the bend, thinking to herself. 'Another sacred gear user. More scum of the word that needs to be killed.'

Ron turned to Shego, "thanks Shego."

Shego waved him off, "Don't think I was looking out for yea or anything. I just happen to be nearby passing my damn fliers." She started off as well, "Looks finish up and we can talk to Kimmie about this. I have the feeling that woman is nothing but trouble."

"No kidding." Ron said as he went to finish up and had Shego helping. It felt strange to Ron to be working with a former villain in such a way, but he did have to admit that she was attractive in her own way. She had the look, and was strong like Kim, then it occurred that he was getting attracted to the older X-super villain turned devil.

'What's with me and strong women? In fact, why do I know so many girls.' He thought as he finished up with handing out fliers and went back to school for the 'Occult Club' activities.

Well, I hoped you enjoyed it, cliffhanger and all. Well, goodbye for now.
