"Why are we on a subway train?" Amy Rose asked Sonic The Hedgehog as they were all in an F Train together, which was bound for the south part of Brooklyn, New York.
"Because we're going to somewhere special." Sonic replied as he smiled, wagging his left index finger.
Silver The hedgehog, who had his arms wrapped around the back of his head, asked, "Why did we go to New York in the first place?"
Sonic glanced at Silver as he snapped his fingers. "Because I told you, we're going to a special place. And it's nearby."
"...Why the F Train, of all things?" Shadow The Hedgehog remarked as he was unimpressed, his arms typically folded.
Sonic winked as he nudged Shadow. "Because it's the most convenient train."
As the group were getting closer, they stopped at Neptune Avenue, with there being one more spot before eventually reaching their destination.
"Ooh, a McDonald's! Can we go there, please Sonic please?" Amy asked as she tugged Sonic by the arm.
Sonic laughed as he waved his right hand at Amy. "Calm down, Ames, there's something even better than McDonald's where we're going."
"Ooh, I like the sound of that." Rouge remarked with a chuckle as she had her hands on her lap.
Shadow rubbed his chin as he took a look around, the train starting up again. "Hmmm... I can't put my finger on it, but this place seems familiar..."
It was then that a few minutes later, the F train finally pulled into the station, with the four anthropomorphic hedgehogs and one lone bat stepping out of the train and onto the track platform as they exited out, with the five mammals leaving the station as they noticed the arch bridge heading out towards the boardwalk. Shadow's eyes lifted as he recognized the giant, wooden roller coaster before, pointing at it.
Sonic Goes To Coney Island

"Hey! That's the Coney island Cyclone!" Shadow exclaimed as he turned to Sonic, chuckling as he placed his hands on his hips. "So you brought us all to Coney island for some fun in the sun, huh?"
"You bet, Shad!" Sonic stated as he dashed towards the boardwalk. "Race ya to the beach, slowpokes!"
Shadow chuckled as he followed Sonic, with Rouge, Amy, and Silver going after them as they all ran past the Cyclone and New York Aquarium, ending up on the boardwalk as they first dashed onto Brighton Beach, to get some waves after the long subway ride.
"So Shadow, you've been here before?" Silver asked as he ran behind Shadow.
Rouge rolled her eyes as she turned to Silver. "He just said it a minute ago, man! Weren't you even listening!"
Silver frowned as he rubbed the back of his head with his right hand as they all got onto the sandy beach. "Yeah, I have a tendency to not really get what people are saying at first..."
"I can see that!" Rouge remarked as she stretched her arms, looking for a place to change into her bathing suit as everyone else was doing stretches as well.
