Chapter 10: A Turn for the Worst

Goku charged after Android 19 at full speed. 19 threw a single punch, but Goku was wise enough to teleport behind 19, confusing him. He used his speed instead of raw power alone. 19 threw as much attacks around as possible, but Goku danced around him like it was nothing. As much as 19 tried, he could not hit Goku. Goku elbowed 19 into a pillar that broke down with the impact 19 took to it, much to 20's astonishment.

Even though Tien thought that Goku was doing good, Gosen and Piccolo weren't as optimistic. They were concerned because Goku seemed to be losing power by the second. When 19 came back for round two, Goku kicked him into the air like a high school athlete in a game of kickball. Goku had appeared to have been dominate for the first five minutes of the fight.

Gohan, Krillin and Yamcha appeared to see the fight, and Tien informed them that Goku had been winning the entire time. "No." Gosen denied. "Dad hasn't been winning at all. His attacks are so sloppy, and he doesn't seem that confident. His attacks aren't even hurting that fat freak!"

Tien countered by telling Gosen that he's just being paranoid, but Gosen intercepted by saying he was being too optimistic. Tien and everyone else looked back up at Goku.

"Piccolo, Gohan, I know you guys see it too." Gosen said. They nodded in agreement with Gosen's observance.

"Hey, what if that android is stealing Dad's energy!" Gohan implied.

"What? They can do that?" Piccolo asked harshly. Yamcha looked at Piccolo and told him about that moment earlier when 20 nearly finished him. He said to him that he felt all the energy leaving him. That same moment, Goku kicked 19 toward the earth, and he literally came crashing down at mach speed. Everyone but Gosen, Gohan, and Piccolo cheered. 19 got right back up like it was nothing.

Goku didn't look good at all. His heavy breathing got worse, and his power dropped faster. Seemingly out of desperation to finish it all, Goku charged a Kamehameha and fired it. 20 cringed at the open opportunity for 19, and he smiled at his opportunity. 19 held his palm out and began to absorb all the power from his Kamehameha Wave.

"What? No way!" Gosen cried out.

"So, it's true!" Piccolo cried out as well. "Goku! Don't use anymore energy blasts! That android can absorb your power!"

"That's too much...now what?" Goku muttered.

"He's far too fatigued to continue this fight...what's going on with him? If this keeps up...I'll have to step in!" Gosen thought to himself. He began to bring his power level up to the point of immediate transformation if need be. "Piccolo, be ready. I'm fully prepared to step in if this keeps up. don't know what's going on with Dad, but it isn't good. Piccolo looked at him. "Even though Dad hasn't been doing too well, that fat freak hasn't been able to hit him yet, so I suspect that they aren't that strong."

Seconds later 19 began to dominate Goku. "What the...!" Tien yelled out.

"Krillin! Senzu bean, now!" Gosen yelled. Krillin threw Goku a senzu bean, but it never affected Goku like it constantly would in the past. He was still being dominated. Goku had just turned back to normal by this point and it wasn't looking any better for him. 19 sat on him and began to drain him of his energy. "No more!" Gosen roared as he flew over to 19 quickly without transforming. He quickly kicked 19 off of his father and stood by his side. Goku looked up at Gosen but his eyes blurred as if he was slowly fading from reality.

"Gosen." Goku muttered. Using the last of his strength to speak.

"Don't talk, Dad. I got your back." He looked at 19 with fire in his eyes and was ready to fight. Yet he knew he couldn't leave his father there dying. "Yamcha! I doubt you want to fight anymore. Can you please come take Dad back home to Mom?"

"Of course." Yamcha walked up behind Gosen and picked Goku up. As Yamcha flew away 19 chased after him, knowing his mission is to kill Goku. Gosen appeared behind 19, taking him by the leg and throwing him into a near by mountain.

"Your fight is with me now." Gosen knew nothing about these androids, but what he did know is that they weren't very tough, especially if he was able to drive one to a mountain while not even transformed yet. "What was wrong with Dad? I doubt his power was being drained. He was acting up even before the fight. His body isn't doing well at all. I need to end this fast and get to him. Far too much going on right now. Wrong androids, health problems with Dad, and other unknown mysteries." Gosen screamed at the top of his lungs and immediately squatted down.

The amount of power he was releasing was incredible. It was like everything was shaking, and you could hardly see his body due to the white light of his full power base form. "I'M NOT EVEN GOING TO WASTE ANY TIME WITH YOU!" Gosen yelled and immediately rushed toward the injured 19. Like a flash of light, Gosen punched the head of 19 clean off. He threw both the head and the body into the air and blasted at both of them, destroying them. 20's face was priceless. The look of fear and desperation made Gosen and the Z-fighters happy.

"Believe me, if Dad was 100% he would have been able to do that as well. Honestly, he didn't even need Super Saiyan for you guys. I don't know why he did." Gosen walked up to the android fearlessly. "You seemed like the smarter of the 2, so I wanted to keep you alive. And you will answer my questions." 20 stepped back for every step Gosen made forward. 20 could not fly away. It was as if Gosen's glare kept him down like a leash on a scared dog who wants to run.

Gosen walked directly into his face, and came into breathing distance with him. "Where is Cell?"

Sorry for such a long wait people. Ever since the end of school this past summer and coming into a new school year things haven't been the best for me. Going through a best friend's death, Grandmother's death early August, and having to leave the school I've come so accustomed to and had so many opportunities and repeated the grade because of bullshit tuition. It takes it's toll. 2013 is probably the worst year of my life so far. Been fucked up from January to now.

But I've adjusted to things now and I'm back!
