Emily's mind snaps back to reality. She looks around and notices the guys. "Sam?" She says. "Guys, what the hell is going on?"
When they were in fully control of themselves, Dean grabbed a boa and covered himself. "What the hell are we wearing?" He demanded.
"Gabriel, I think there's something you need to explain to Emily here," Cas told him.
"Very well, dear brother of mine," he smirks. "Emily I presume. Please to meet you. I'm Gabriel also known as Gabriel the Archangel."
"You're real," she asked. "I thought you were dead like the rest of your brothers."
"Well I'm not. You see there's a lesson in all of this. You weren't controlling any of this. Emily, you chose so-called magic and all of this over these three guys who risked anything for you and you abandoned them."
"That's why I brought them here." Emily explains. "I wanted to protect them just like they do for me."
"Oh, sweetheart, you couldn't handle any of this. You call yourself a hunter after what you've done here?"
"I just wanted to matter for once. Being a hunter is a big deal to me. There's nothing I'm good at. I'm too close to them now. I wanna be with them and do what they do. All I ever do is screw things up."
"Emily, you don't screw things up." Sam explains to her. "You are our friend. You are part of our family now."
"He's right," Dean agreed. "You're family, Em. We are gonna do whatever it takes to protect you."
"Really? I'm actually part of this? I-I don't know what to say."
Gabe gives her a smile. "That's what you need to know, Emily. By the way, maybe you should take my Trickster place instead. After all, you clearly have more imagination than me."
"Thanks, Gabe, but I'm gonna stick to this life. Being on the road, eating fast food, staying at cheap motels, and fighting monsters with these three guys." She looks at them.
"Very well. I'll see you soon." In a matter of seconds, the archangel disappears.
The four friends look at each other to find that they were back in their regular attire. After that, they head outside and found the impala.
"So…this was fun," Emily awkwardly says.
Dean crosses his arms and gives her a look. "Do you have any idea have worried and sick we were?" He asked her. "We were looking for you and thank God we found you."
"Hey, I thought you—Wait, you were worried about me?" She grins. "Oh, Dean, you do care for me!"
"Shut up," he groans. "You may be like an annoying little sister, but I care about you, Emily."
"That's so sweet. The Tinman has a heart. You wanna give me a hug now?"
"Don't push it." Dean warns her. "Let's go."
Once Dean got in the car, Sam stops Emily. "Hey, Em, hang on." He opens the passenger door and takes something out of the glove compartment.
"What is it?" She asks him.
"Dean and I were wondering when we should give this to you. Since this was your first official case and you succeeded in it…I think it's time you have this." He hands her the gift.
Emily opens it and gasps in amazement. "A-Are you serious? Is this real?!"
"We think you're ready for it. You deserve it."
"My…my…my own FBI badge!" She exclaims. "Holy crap! I-I don't know what to say. Thank you so much!"
To his surprise, Emily yanks Sam into a tight embrace. He couldn't help but hug her back, leaning his chin on top of her hair.
They pulled back and got into the car. Dean drove off and headed to the next case.
