A/N: Sorry it took so long to post this, but here it is. I don't have any excuse for taking so long, I'm just lazy. You will find out what exactly it is that Evelyne knows from when she full on died when she was younger and human.
Chapter 15
Kol woke slowly and as he woke up he realized four things: One he was in his bed, Two Evelyne was lying next to him unmoving, Three his mother and brothers all stood next to Evelyne on the other side of the bed, And Four Esther was trying desperately to get Evelyne's body to take blood.
"What in the bloody hell happened?" Kol growled sitting up and looking at his unconscious girlfriend and then to his family.
"You broke young Matt's hand, Damon snapped your neck and Miss Salvatore here is unresponsive and we don't know what caused it." Elijah explained and telling Kol with his eyes there was more that could not be said at that moment.
"She isn't taking blood either. What is that second stone in her ring?" Asked noticing a purple stone next to the lapis lazuli in Evelyne's ring.
"Anti-magic stone I believe is what she told me. It's not as powerful as her pendant but it can cause her body to get any type of magic purged from her body that could have been digested." Kol said trying to remember exactly what she had told him so long ago.
"Take her to my study make sure no light gets inside; I might be able to help her." Esther said and not a moment later Evelyne was in Kol's arms and headed for his mother's study.
"He really loves her," Finn said as he, his brothers and his mother followed his younger brother into the study.
Once inside the boys all shut the curtains as instructed, then left the room as Esther told them to all but Finn. Kol wanted to protest but from the look his mother gave him he stepped out of the room with Klaus and Elijah.
"Don't fret brother, she will be fine." Klaus said hiding his concern for the young Salvatore.
"Yes let us go to our rooms, when miss Salvatore is awake and better she will go to your room." Elijah said as they all went to their own rooms all worrying about Evelyne.
"Son we must bind you all now, before we awaken her." Esther said adding Evelyne's name next to Kol's on the family tree as though they had married.
"Mother they are not married how would binding her to us do anything?" Finn asked standing next to his mother.
"They love each other Finn; they must have shared blood at least once in the past." Esther said then she and Finn completed the binding spell, connecting all of the names. Evelyne was only connected to Kol. Esther smiled at her son and they put the stuff for the spell away and Esther walked over to Evelyne and took the ring off of her hand. Causing Evelyne to jolt up and gasp for unneeded air. Quickly Esther handed her the blood bag to drink and the ring.
"Thank you," Evelyne said after drinking the blood bag and putting her ring back on.
"Go to Kol he is worried about you." Esther said and Evelyne got up and walked out of the room to Kol's room. Still slightly weak she had to walk slowly, but before she had a chance to grab to door handle the door flew open and she was pulled into a bear hug.
"Can you let me go I'm still a little weak." Evelyne said causing Kol to stop hugging her, pull her in the room and shut the door. He then held up his wrist for her.
"Drink," Kol said looking at her as he moved his arm closer to her. "It will heal you even fast than fresh human blood."
"Fine but I'm not drinking from your wrist." Evelyne said smirking at his face with his 'what' reaction. Then she made him tilt his head by grabbing his face and tilting his head to the left, she then let her fangs come out and bit him on right side of his neck causing him to smirk.
PAGE BREAK TO THE NEXT MORNING
Evelyne woke up the next day and reached behind her for Kol but he wasn't there. She slowly sat up to find she couldn't hear him in the room, closet or the bathroom. She then started to concentrate harder she then heard him in the hallway. He then opened the door and smirked at his girlfriend who was wearing his shirt to sleep in. he then shut the door and put a pair of black skinny jeans, a black t-shirt.
"Thought you would enjoy having clothes to wear for the day, I myself enjoy you dressed like that but my siblings probably wouldn't agree." Kol said continuing to smirk as he watched his girlfriend get out of the bed and walk up to him.
"Thanks met you downstairs in fifteen minutes with a blood bag please." Evelyne said leaning forward and kissing him and pulling back.
"Fine, while waiting for you I'll annoy Nik." Kol said pouting in the begging then smirking about messing with his brother.
After Kol went to go annoy Klaus and wait for Evelyne, she got in the shower and changed her clothes. She then put on the black stilettoes from the night before. She then braided her hair to the side. After she cleaned up all of her stuff Evelyne went downstairs to find Kol lying in a chair with his legs over one arm and his head on the other, across from the couch that Klaus was sitting on while he sketched.
"Darling tell Nik he should go out and have some fun with us," Kol said looking at Evelyne holding up a cup full of blood for her.
"We are going out to have fun?" Evelyne said taking the cup and drinking it while sitting on the arm of the chair Kol was now sitting properly in.
"Come on darling, I need entertainment. It's boring here." Kol pouted looking at his girlfriend doing the puppy dog face.
"Puppy dog face wont' work on her little brother." Klaus said not looking up from his sketch book.
"He's right it won't," Evelyne said as the door opened and Rebekah walked in with her dress on from the ball while holding her shoes.
"Out all night what a scandal," Kol said standing up and looking at his sister.
"Shut up Kol," Rebekah said pushing past her brother then seeing Evelyne, "You call me a scandal and Evelyne's siting right there and she didn't go home last night."
"Now I'm really glad I didn't go home last night, you reek of my brother." Evelyne said recognizing her brother's scent on her best friend.
"How did you," Rebekah started but was interrupted by Kol.
"So you did do better than that commoner, Matt was it. Though I don't think you went much better." Kol said smirking at his sister.
"If you don't shut up the next thing to come out of your mouth will be your teeth, don't start with me Nik." Rebekah said looking at her two brothers.
"I didn't say anything." Klaus said lifting his hand in defense while laughing.
"What do you say brother, our sisters a strumpet. Why don't you go out for a drink with me and Evelyne?" Kol said looking at Bekah.
"Fine I didn't have nearly enough to drink last night with you attempting to kill Rebekah's date and then miss Salvatore here passing out on us for reasons still unknown." Klaus said getting up with Kol following.
"Good riddance the both of you, this house has enough men rolling around in it." Rebekah said.
"Just like you Bekah." Kol said pointing at his sister and barely dogging the shoe she throws at him, causing Evelyne to laugh from her spot still on the arm of the chair.
"You do realize they just left you and you are laughing." Rebekah said turning to her best friend.
"Babe I got my car, besides I have to go home before I go out. I need my jacket." Evelyne said standing up and walking out the door as Elijah walked into the room to talk to Rebekah.
Once at her house Evelyne walked and heard Damon starting to talk to Stefan.
"Join me for a little victory drink." Damon said smugly to Stefan in the other room. Neither noticing her presence.
"We should wait until Klaus is dead." Stefan said almost monotone, hearing him say that made Evelyne completely stop and listen.
"Ugh, why are you so extra broody? Didn't you see the way we stood up to Elena, I liked you on my team. Must have driven her nuts." Damon said and Evelyne could hear him taking a drink.
"You still think she's going to screw this up, don't you?" Stefan asked.
"Think somebody needs to talk to her, she's not going to listen to me." Damon said a hint of something in his voice.
"Is it because of your little sleepover?" Stefan said talking about that morning.
"It's not my fault she decided to get jealous." Damon said about Elena that morning.
"Wow given who you chose to sleep with? I would say it's a hundred percent your fault." Stefan said.
"Whatever I did you a favor, now you can come in and sweep her off her feet." Damon said sounding almost matter a fact.
Evelyne decided to just go to her room since the conversation no longer interested her. Once in her room she changed from her heels to her white boots, and then put on her jacket. That's when Evelyne heard Damon downstairs talking to Ric on the phone and heard him say something about original murder thing. That's also when Evelyne remembered about Esther thinking about binding all of her children together and then binding Evelyne to Kol so she would die as well. Evelyne then shouted several creative words at nothing in particular. Somehow not attracting her brother downstairs attention.
"I'm going to the grill." Evelyne yelled to her brother as she walked to the front door. Only to be stopped by her brother appearing in her way.
"Why did you tell Elijah not to trust Esther or Elena last night?" Damon asked standing in front of her unmoving.
"Esther isn't allowed to kill all of her children Damon, and I'm not just saying that because of Kol. I'm saying it because I know things even the spirits doesn't know. Esther cannot succeed tonight Damon." Evelyne said in a powerful stern voice that warned him to not go against her.
"Fine, but you need to explain why later." Damon said moving out of the way for his sister to leave. Evelyne hurried to the Mikealson mansion in time to see Rebekah leaving with a small smirk on her face. At the sight of Evelyne Rebekah stopped right in her spot.
"My mother's planning to kill us, Elijah got Elena and if your brothers don't stop our mother before six minutes after nine I get to kill her." Rebekah said happy she might get to kill Elena but not happy that she might have to spend what might be the last amount of time alive with her.
"That sucks me to, good for you, and I'm sorry." Evelyne said hoping Rebekah wouldn't catch on to the part about her dyeing when they die. But she wasn't that lucky.
"What do you mean 'That sucks me to'? Does Kol know, how would you die?" Rebekah said grabbing her by the shoulders to look her in the eyes.
"The night I passed out and Esther told everyone that she was going to help me she bound my life to Kol's, if he dies I die. But there is something your mother doesn't know, but I can't tell you right now. I have to go." Evelyne said then ran full speed to the grill just in time to see Klaus and Caroline and start to walk over to them, right before there was a sudden pain in her chest just like when her heart stopped when she was a child. "Kol" Evelyne gasped out before she dropped lifeless almost hitting the ground before being caught by Klaus.
Klaus could tell that something was wrong as well especially when Evelyne dropped and looked dead. Holding Evelyne in his arms he ran to an alley in time to see Alaric dropping Kol and the Salvatore brothers walking forward. Klaus sat Evelyne down on the Ground with great speed and ease so as not to harm the hopefully just daggered Salvatore.
"You fools just killed your own sister." Klaus said before ripping the dagger from Kol's chest, then killing Alaric, then Stefan, and stopping to stare Damon down, who couldn't take his eyes off his sister's lifeless body. "I should have killed you months ago."
"So do it, it's not going to stop Esther from killing you." Damon said trying to keep looking at Klaus and not his sister.
"What did you say about my mother?" Klaus said walking toward Damon.
"You didn't know I was friends with your mommy? We have a lot in common; she hates you just about as much as I do." Damon said snarky like causing Klaus to almost attack him but was stopped by the sound of Elijah's voice.
"Leave him, we still need him Niklaus." Elijah said coming to them.
"What did mother do Elijah? What did she do Elijah?" Klaus asked.
"Tell me where the witches are or I have my sister kill Elena right now." Elijah said pulling out his phone and walking toward Damon.
"You told us we had until after nine?" Damon said looking up at the clock.
"Rebekah would love to start her work early." Evelyne said getting off the ground walking up to Elijah's side. "You should have listened to me brother, now I have no choice but to intervene and do as nature commands of me." Evelyne added before disappearing and stopping in front of the pentagram at the witch house.
"Evelyne, what happened to you?" Bonnie asked seeing that the her new friend looked like she had just died and come back.
"Esther you didn't tell them? Here allow me, she bound my life to Kol's, if he dies I die. But you see Esther there is a small fault in your plan Esther." Evelyne said walking closer to the original witch.
"And what is that?" Esther asked stepping forward.
"Mother nature won't allow all of your children to die, you see I have died and moved on completely before, a witch a Bennett witch to be exact brought me back to life, but not before I had learned things only mother nature herself knows. She had seen me worthy of the knowledge and told something very interesting. Once a species has been created it is not allowed to be destroyed." Evelyne said causing the three witches and original all to gasp.
"If that is so we won't help." Abby said stepping away from Esther.
"Evelyne is my friend; I will help her before I voluntarily help you." Bonnie said stepping closer towards Evelyne.
"You have no choice but to help me, unless the Bennett line gets severed." Esther said looking at the Bennett's then she turned to Evelyne and added, "If what you say is true then one vampire, and one hybrid must still walk the earth. And you are a hybrid; I could unlink Kol from his siblings and leave him only linked to you. Then all that is needed is a small spell to change you vampire bloodline, this would ensure I would not make Mother Nature mad."
"Mother they're coming," Finn said reaching for Esther to protect her, Bonnie and Abby went into the witch house because they would be safe there.
"It's ok they can't get in," Esther said standing in the center of the pentagram.
As Kol, Elijah, and Klaus came walking towards them Evelyne turned to Esther and said, "It's not too late you have the ability to stop this, nature has found a balance to vampires. Please Esther before I am forced to do something that I truly don't want to do."
"No, I will not stop this." Esther said to her then looked to her sons.
"I'm sorry Emily," Evelyne said before she vamp sped in front of Abby.
"I know what you have to do, kill me." Abby said a small tear running down her face.
"I'm so sorry," Evelyne said before she bit into her wrist and put it to Abby's mouth and then snapped her neck. As Abby fell to the floor Stefan and Damon walked in to see Evelyne fall to the ground crying.
"Ev, please look at me, please it's not your fault." Damon said trying to get her to look at him as Stefan took Abby to Bonnie and called Caroline.
"I just did one of the things I have sworn I would never do, now leave me alone." Evelyne said pushing him away like a child would a brother when they were upset.
"Evelyne please, don't do this let me be there for you." Damon said trying to pull her into a hug.
"I said leave me alone," Evelyne said throwing Damon toward the door, then when he got up and tried to walk toward her the spirits opened the door and threw him out, and slamming the doors shut again.
After an hour the doors opened again this time it was Kol, he was met by the sight of Evelyne Curled into a ball crying and muttering "I'm sorry," over and over again. He walked over to her and pulled her into his arms and they stayed like that the entire night.
A/N: So Sorry again about me being really lazy. Just a couple small notes on some of the stuff Evelyne Knows, she knows about the bloodline connection, she knows who the sire of her bloodline is.
