Daryl never returned to the prison with Merle. Instead they became a part of a new kind of group. Lawless men. Carol never met up with Tyreese after Rick banished her. When these groups collide, Daryl has trouble coming to terms with what she is and Carol will have to remember that she was once a merciful woman.
