Three weeks Rick had said. As though he hadn't counted every day since they'd been separated. As if he hadn't spent every second of the day reliving those last precious moments they spent together.

They made a shrine for Beth in Grady Memorial, and left to go to Richmond, Virginia. When that turned out to be overruned, the started to head towards Washington, meeting Aaron, they discovered Alexandria. Daryl can only live in the what if stage. The only thing he has of Beth's, is her knife. When the reach, Alexandria, they have a shocking discovery.

The universe doesn't just throw you a bone like that. It just doesn't.

However, witnessing the beginning of the zombie apocalypse wasn't exactly on the agenda for her holiday, and now she's fighting off dead people that want to want to eat her.
