A/N: I know I say this a lot, but lemme say it again: I have no excuse for this. I just haven't been up to writing anything CFV lately(nor had the attention span to write anything else). I may go back to ADT's "update every Friday" schedule I had before, but that only really worked because I wasn't behind on anime and didn't have internet... I'll try it anyway, since my mindset of "I'll write when I get home *forgets an hour later*" doesn't seem to be helping. There's other stuff I want to start writing, and until "Tomorrow" is finished, I can't. So there's some motivation.

(Not that I've lost interested in "Tomorrow", I just haven't been able to write.)

I also forgot that Leon had started calling Miwa "Taishi" as of last chapter, so I kept writing Miwa... I derped with my own story.

.

Taishi had taken the explanation all in stride, to a surprising degree. He sat quietly across from Leon and listened to him talk, although it couldn't have lasted more than twenty minutes.

That didn't change the fact that is was long past midnight when Leon finally finished answering his questions, which he'd waited to ask until the end.

"I figured it would be something pretty... outrageous." Taishi said after a while. At Leon's worried look, he laughed. "Not that I mind. A while ago one of my friends got into a little trouble like this, though not really on the same level."

The younger blond nodded, and Taishi hunched over with a hand covering his mouth and a thoughtful expression.

"Your family... how are they?" He asked, earning a confused look. "When you left, I mean. I can't imagine it was easy, especially if there was anyone you were close to."

Leon realized he'd left his relationship with most of the clan out of his explanation, and couldn't help but glance away.

"Not really." He said, slowly, because if he talked too fast then it'd all end up one big mess about why I want to go home and why I don't think I can handle it, but have to.

Not that he had many doubts. No, whether or not he could handle the faith of the world being reliant on the actions of him and a handful of people would be obvious after everything has happened. Whether he's still in the right state of mind or not, that is.

His expression must have given something away though, becuause Taishi was looking at him with a slightly worried expression.

"So I guess you don't want to talk about it?" Taishi asked, and Leon shook his head. It wasn't that he didn't want to talk, but it was late, he was tired, and his mind still wasn't working quite right. "Alright, we'll talk in the morning if you're up to it. If not, we're going out to have some fun!"

Then he was out the door, walking through the one directly in front of Leon's room. Leaving Leon all alone again.

This is happening a lot. He thought. Back home, he was rarely alone for long periods of time. But if Taishi was as nice as he seemed, that would probably change very soon - tomorrow, it seemed.

With a sigh, he climbed into bed, lying back against the pillows and stared at the ceiling. It was different from the one he was used to seeing, of course, but three days of being away didn't help it sink in any easier.

Maybe tomorrow would be better. He had a feeling Taishi was the kind of distraction that would make him forget everything.

A/N: It's not much, but again, that's how it is for this one is. People have told me to write longer chapters, but pacing is pacing, and I don't wanna screw it up. If I wrote too much, I wouldn't have material for the next chapter.

Imagine how many times I had to go back and change "Miwa" to "Taishi" in this chapter alone. If I missed any, feel free to point it out if it bothers you.
