"Is she ok?!" I walked up closer to Zero.

"She's passed out, Lady Ouri." Aido spoke up cautiously.

"Toma, he's going to pay!" I growled, my eyes becoming red with anger.

"Meyome, calm down." Zero spoke. "Follow me."

I walked beside him and watched Yuki sway. As we walked up to an older looking building, Zero looked at me.

"Grab my arm. Same with your servant."

"I resent that," Lyra scowled.

Zero raised an eyebrow.

"I'm not her servant, I'm her caretaker. I have been since she saved the lives of me and my sister."

I chuckled, "Just do it, Lyra."

"Yes my lady." She reluctantly grabbed Zeros arm as we passed through a gate of some sort.

"I really don't like this place." I said shivering.

Suddenly there was a yelp from behind us. We all looked back to see Aido millimeters from an anti-vampire grating. Zero pulled away from both Lyra and I.

"The reaction is a little slow," he said speaking to a hooded man nearby.

"I will be sure to fix it." The man bowed.

"This is a hideout for the hunters society, only tamed vampires and hunters are allowed in. otherwise, I have to carry you in." he said picking up the aristocrat.

"A little warning next time!" Aido yelled out, obviously embarrassed.

I saw Yuki's hand twitch as we walked through the hall, stopping outside of a room, Lyra and Aido remained outside. In the room, Yuki managed to pull herself up. She settled into the crook of Zero's neck, licking it she prepared herself to bite. However after making contact with Zero's eyes she stopped.

"Changed your mind?" –Zero

"Please, let me down." She asked.

"Only if you're able to stand." –Zero

"I can stand… thanks."

"Yuki!" I ran and hugged her. "Are you ok?"

"You too, Meyome?" she stepped away and hung her head. "I'm so sorry." The windows cracked behind her.

"Yuki, calm down." I tried reaching my hand out. But the glass shattered and the window flew open.

Aido and Lyra came busting into the room, both asking if everything was ok.

"Seems I'm still bungling up things aren't I?" she said with a fake smile before jumping out the open window.

"Yuki!" I ran after her, Aido and Lyra following me. When she was at the top of a set of stairs, she said something I couldn't make out, but she was immediately surrounded by bats and vanished. I reached the top of the stairs.

"She must've been talking to Kaname." I sighed, relieved that she was safe. Also, if Kaname was watching over her, then he would punish Toma for me and then some.

"My lady should we return home?" Lyra caught up to me first.

"Yes, we will make our leave right after I take care of some business."

"Of course." She bowed.

As I turned around, Aido was finally catching up, soon behind him was Zero. Zero was the one I had business with.

"You should go change, the scent of that girl's blood must be driving you crazy." Aido said to Zero with good intentions. However, all he got was an evil smile, then thrown in the onsite jail.

"You're not going to lock me up too?" I asked when Zero passed me.

"Why would I?"

"Aido may be an idiot, but he had good intentions."

"Thank you!" Aido yelled from inside the cell. "WAIT WHAT DO YOU MEAN IDIOT?!"

"Point proven." I chuckled. "I have something to discuss with you, is there a place we may talk privately?"

"I have to set up transportation first, then we can talk."

"Very well."

As Zero led me and Lyra to a room to wait, Lyra looked at me curiously.

"My lady, what do you intend to ask the hunter?"

"Basically what will happen when he catches Yuki. The three of us were classmates."

"Oh when Lady Yuki was still in hiding as a human?"

"Correct. However the subject is touchy, as you saw with Hanabusa's tactless comment."

"Yes." She nodded. "Will I have to leave the room?"

"You will. I'm sorry."

"Very well, I shall remain outside to keep watch." She said walking out.

Soon after she walked out Zero walked in. "What do you need? Hanabusa will be ready soon."

"There was some truth to what Aido was saying, wasn't there."

Zero turned his head away in shame.

"Would you like a drink?" I said exposing my wrist.

"Even if I did, why your wrist?"

"Because last time almost got me in trouble with my two best maids." I chuckled.

"You're the head of the family now, they can't really say much now."

"They still worry," I chuckled. "They're almost like my mothers."

"Aren't they just slaves? Created by your father?"

I shook my head, "No, father gave them his blood, they were free to leave right from the start."

Zero looked confused. "Then why?"

"They stayed because they fell in love with me." I smiled. "now you never answered my question. Yes or no?"

"Fine."

"I know you don't like it, but it prolongs your sanity before you fall to a level E." I said dragging a sharpened nail across my wrist, causing it to bleed.

Zero's eyes became red as he slowly dug his fangs into the wound, drinking hesitantly. It was only a short time before he stopped.

"That's enough." He said walking over and grabbing a towel and wiping his mouth.

I healed my wound, and walked over to him. "Are you sure, if you need, you can have a little more."

"I know you're just worried about me, and I thank you for that."

"And yet you throw Aido in jail?" I chuckled. "What do you just not like him?"

"Pretty much." Zero said with a straight face.

I began to chuckle.

"You laugh but I'm serious."

"I know, that's why I'm laughing." I smiled. "Hey Zero,"

"What is it?"

I walked up to him and kissed his cheek, "I think I like you."

A blush came across his face as I passed him and walked out.

"Come Lyra, we're leaving now."

"Y-Yes my lady." She seemed to be silently fuming.
