Kagome pulled her suitcase to her room trying to not drop anything. After Sesshomaru took her to her house to get her she actually learned somethings about him. He's not as bad as he seems. He was quiet yes but he told her he had a bad night. She never would have guessed that. She pulled her bag over the last step and sighed. Sesshomaru had went back down stairs to that room and Inuyasha wasn't there when she got back so here she was by herself hauling her suitcase up 35 flights of steps, yes she counted.
She stopped to breathe and leaned against the railing looking over to the den, why have a den and a living room? She thought. After she caught her breathe she picked up her things and started down the long hallway. She stopped in front of her door and did a little happy dance for finally reaching the room and without help.
"Kagome, 1" she said and opened the door. She pulled her things in and sat them against the dresser. She would unpack tomorrow. All she wanted to do right now was take a nice hot shower then sleep. She grabbed her bag with everything she need to get ready with and walked to the bathroom. She turned the hot water on and stripped. She took her woolen hat off and pulled her hair out of her ponytail. She stepped into the shower and sighed.
When she and Sesshomaru were in the car it was nice. They both liked the same music, and when 'Marry Me' by Train came on they both knew the words to the whole song. She sighed and turned letting the water fully wet her hair. It grew in the last year; it now reaches past her butt. She loved her hair, but she would never wear it down. It was too much trouble, she was always sitting on it, and last time she wear it down it got tangled around her bike handle and she had to cut it.
She was surprised when Sesshomaru had asked her in not many words if something was wrong with her hair. She liked it, she had dyed her bangs a honey blonde, even though she never wore them down, her hair was just a pain in the butt to her.
She got out the shower and wrapped herself in a big blue fluffy towel left on the counter. She walked to the bed and pulled out her favorite pajama from her bag. Silver silk shorts and light blue silk tank top. She put her hair into a messy bun on the top of her head laid down to go to bed.
Sesshomaru walked up from the media room and to the kitchen. He was in a good mood from the car ride with Kagome. They just talked, about any and everything in the short 20 minute ride. He never felt so at ease with someone before. And she liked the Train just like he did; she just kept getting better and better. When he asked about her cap though she had told him she had forgot she had it only honestly.
"You've had that hat on since you got here" he said stopping at a stop light. Kagome reached up and pulled at her hat.
"Yeah" she said. Sesshomaru looked at her.
"Why do you keep it on?" her asked. Kagome looked at him and gigged.
"I forgot I had it on" she said. Sesshomaru chuckled and started back driving.
After that he had ask slyly if something was wrong with her hair, and she told him nothing was. Just that she had a lot of it. After they had when to her house and came back he noticed that his car smelled of lemons and permanganates, just like her. That was something he could get use to, quickly. Once they arrived home he went down to the media room to make sure he turned everything off or hear his father's voice in the morning.
On the way to his room Inuyasha and Kouga caught him.
"Hey, we're having some people over. You wanna join us?" Inuyasha asked. Sesshomaru looked at him then Kouga.
"Does father know?" he asked. Inuyasha nodded and leaned on the railing. Sesshomaru nodded and walked towards the den were a group of their friends were already waiting. It seemed that they arrived when him and Kagome was gone. Sesshomaru sat on the love seat and sat back, Kouga was on the floor surrounded by a group of girls from their school, giggling. Inuyasha turned the radio on and sat on the couch, he was surrounded by girls in a matter of seconds.
"Oi, girls Sesshomaru looks lonely doesn't he?" Kouga asked. The girls giggled and nodded.
"How about you guys go give him some company" he whispered. Sesshomaru smirked as five girls made their way to him. He wasn't going to object, he is a male after all, and after just breaking up with Yura he was a free man. But there was a face he kept seeing, Kagome's. He shook his head and pushed those thoughts out of his made. He would enjoy himself for now.
"Ooooh, party at a rich dude's house" Kagome rolled over and groaned.
"What. The. Hell" She was trying to sleep but it was hard to do when it was felt like her bed was jumping with the beat of the music being played. Very loud. She put her pillow over her head and tried to block the music out, no avail. After 30 more seconds of no sleep she groaned. Throwing her legs over the bed and sitting up Kagome yawned. She stood and walked over to door. She stopped when she saw herself in the door mirror. Some of her hair had fallen out of her bun and her shirt rode up a little, showing off her stomach. But she didn't care; she wanted to know who would be playing music this loud at this late. She yanked the door open and started for the steps.
"Damn demons, people are trying to sleep" she mumbled reaching the top of the steps.
"Kagome?" A voice asked.
"Inu Tashio?" she had looking at him. He looked like he was woken up to by the music. By the look on his face, Inupapa was not a happy camper.
"Call me Toga" he said yawning. Kagome nodded and started back down the steps, Toga behind her.
"Music bothering you too?" he asked. Kagome nodded and turned to where the music was coming from. The den was filled with about 50 teens, all laughing, dancing talking whatever. She really didn't care she just wanted them to shut up. She stepped in with Toga, the 'party' kept going like no one hadn't noticed. Kagome let out an impressive growl and walked over to the stereo. She looked for the cord; upon finding to she yanked it out, music stopping.
"What the hell?" Inuyasha asked, standing. Kagome turned towards him and glared. She steps towards him until she was a good foot away, not trusting herself closer afraid she was tackle him and purify him.
"Yes Inuyasha, that what I said not to long ago." She said. Sesshomaru looked at her from, they passed over the curves of her body and down her legs. His eyes made his way back up to her hair, the pieces framing her face were curly, not wavy like most girls. The curls were tightly coiled and the ones that fell from the bun in the back reached past her butt. Over all to him she looked good, and from the smell of the room, every male thought so too.
"Maybe it didn't occur to you that people are trying to sleep." She said. Inuyasha titled his head, to busy looking at her chest to really hear what she was saying. Kagome followed his eyes and growled. She pushed her aura into him and she stumbled back a little. That seemed to bring him out of his trance.
"Oi, wench, what was that for?" he asked.
"My eyes, are up here stupid" she threw a pillow charged with her powers at him. He winced as it stung him. He threw the pillow on the couch and glared at her.
"Stop it!" he said. Kagome threw another one but he dodged it in time. He looked back at her.
"What do you want?" he asked, almost desperately. Kagome folded her arms, covering her chest. Oh how she wished she put on a sweater or something.
"For you to explain why I am still up at twelve in the morning" she said. Inuyasha looked around.
"Isn't it obvious?" he asked in a duh voice. Toga chuckled and decided to step in when he saw Kagome's hand begin to glow in pink. As much as he younger son annoyed him, he still didn't need him to die this young.
"Son, what she is trying to say is, it is late, I have to work in the morning and I'm sure she has had a long day. Turn the music down so the people that are trying to sleep, may do so." He said. Kagome nodded beside him. Inuyasha crossed his arms and titled his head up.
"No" he said.
"Why you-" she lunged for him, knocking them both on the couch. She grabbed his ear and used enough of her powers to zap his ears.
"Ow! Dammit! I said ow! Kagome, stop!" he yelled. He heard Kouga laughing from the floor. Kagome smirked and leaned towards him.
"Turn it down?" she asked. Inuyasha opened his eyes to look at her, from the look in her eyes she wasn't going to let up until he agreed. He sighed in defeat and nodded. Kagome smiled brightly at him and got off him. She held her hand out to help him up. He took it and she pulled him u.
"Thank Inuyasha" she said. He folded his arms and looked down at her.
"Keh, welcome wench" he said. Kagome turned to leave; she stopped when she saw Sesshomaru and everybody else for that matter, staring at her. She raised her eyebrow and looked around. She was getting a little peeved off from the staring; she was already cranky from her lack of sleep. The eyes bearing into her body from all angles wasn't helping calm her ire down. She walked off, still feeling the eyes on her, she turned.
"What?" she snapped. Everyone looked away, all except Sesshomaru who gave her a small barely noticeable smile. She smiled back, before turning and glaring at everybody else in the room. She turned and walked back to her room. Falling on her bed, she sighed and went to sleep.
