A week later*

"Oi! Woman! Get up!" Inuyasha yelled tapping Kagome on her head. She swatted at him and pulled the covers over her head.

"Go. Away" she said. Inuyasha huffed and crossed his arms. Why did he have to wake her up? After a whole week of her Kagome staying here they got up had a 'family' breakfast, watch movies all day and went to bed. It was December 1, 24 days till Christmas; he needed some…..help. He never liked Christmas shopping, and plus she was good company. Or maybe….his father told him to take the girl shopping for Christmas. Either way, she was required to get up now.

"Kags, come on. Please. I need your help!" he said. Kagome threw the cover back and gave him a suspicious look. Inuyasha rolled his eyes.

"With what?" Kagome asked voice husky from sleep. She yawned and rolled on her back.

"Christmas shopping" Inuyasha said looking at her face for a reaction. All he got was a blank look and silence.

"Um…" then she promptly started to laugh. She sat her feet on the ground and shook her head. Inuyasha took a step back as she stood to go the bathroom.

"Fine. Go. I need to shower" she mumbled waving her hand. Inuyasha nodded and left. He heard Kagome turn on the water o the shower and went down stairs. She'd better hurry. And father better have a damn good explanation for this.

Kagome stepped back into her room and sighed. She sat on the bed and looked at the clock. 8:02! She put her hand on her head and lay back on the bed. Why was she up so early on a Saturday morning? She was going to kill Inuyasha. She got up, no need to waste time. She walked over to her suitcase and started her painstaking clothes hunt. She finally decided on light blue skinny jeans, a white tank top and light brown Uggs Boots. She grabbed her brown pea coat and walked down the steps. She threw her coat on the table and looked around the kitchen. She noticed a barely emptied coffee pot and realized Inu Tashio was gone already.

"Inuyasha!" she called. Inuyasha came around the corner in dark brown military jacket over a white long sleeve shirt and dark blue jeans on.

"Stop yelling I can hear you!" he said. Kagome gave him a blank look.

"You ready to go!" she yelled stepping towards him. Inuyasha winced and tried to hide his ears from the noise.

"Kagome?" Kouga asked coming around a corner. He was still in his sleep clothes.

"Yes?" she asked smiling sweetly. He rubbed his head.

"Why are you yelling at 9 in the morning?" he asked. Kagome giggled.

"No reason Kouga-kun!" she waved her hand and looked at Inuyasha.

"Let's go!" she shouted before turning and walking towards the garage. She threw the jacket on and got in the car. Inuyasha shook his head before looking at Kouga. Kouga looked him over.

"Where you going?" he asked. Inuyasha jumped when Kagome blew the horn.

"Inuyasha let's move it! You woke me up at eight in the damn morning! Let's. –Honk- Move. –Honk- It." She yelled. Kouga closed his eyes then slowly opened them. He pointed to the door.

"Go" he said. Inuyasha nodded and walked to the car yelling at Kagome to stop making noise. Kouga shook his head before sitting down at one of island bar stools. He heard the garage door close before Sesshomaru stepped into the kitchen.

"Where'd they go?" he asked opening the fridge looking for something to drink. Kouga shrugged his shoulders.

"I don't know" he said. Sesshomaru hummed before shutting the door.

Kagome walked into the mall and wiped the snow off her shoulder. Inuyasha walked in after her and grabbed her cap off her head and shoved it in his pocket with his. He pushed her forward and they started walking through the mall slowly.

"What are we looking for?" she asked. Inuyasha looked over at her. Her hair was curly again. The blonde part of her hair was pinned to the side.

"Um, something for my little cousin" he said. Kagome nodded and started walked to the mall map.

"Girl or boy?" she asked.

"Girl"

"Age"

"8" he said. Kagome nodded and grabbed his hand and pulled him the stairs. Inuyasha looked down at her.

"You want me to walk up those?" he asked. Kagome gave him a look. She pulled him and groaned.

"We need to find Ice" she said pulling him to the left. Inuyasha frowned. That store sounded familiar. After ten more minutes of Kagome pulling Inuyasha squealed and pulled him forward suddenly. He almost lost his footing as she entered a store with girl's jewelry and make-up on the walls.

"Welcome to Ice!" a voice called out. Kagome pulled him towards earrings.

"Hey!" she called back. Inuyasha grunted and watched as Kagome looked at different things. He heard footsteps coming towards them.

"Inuyasha?" a voice said. He turned the voice and smiled, forgetting his hand was still in Kagome's and how that would look.

"Kikyo, hey" he said. Kikyo folded her arms and looked at his and Kagome's hands. He looked down and pulled his hand away. Kagome kept looking at the earrings not noticing their new guess.

"It's not what you think" Inuyasha said holding his hand up. Kikyo put her hand on her hips and tapped her foot.

"Well" she said. Inuyasha turned towards Kagome and shook her shoulder. She looked back at him and noticed Kikyo for the first time.

"Oh, hey." She said smiling. Kikyo glared at her, Kagome frowned. She looked at Inuyasha.

"What's her problem?" she asked. Inuyasha opened his mouth to answer but Kikyo beat him to it.

"I'm his girlfriend for six months." She said. Kagome raised her eyebrow,

"Oooookay" she said slowly. Inuyasha laughed nervously.

"Kagome this is Kikyo, she's my girlfriend.

"Oooookay" she said. Inuyasha sighed.

"She thinks you're my girlfriend" he said. Kagome looked at Kikyo then to Inuyasha. She started to laughed. She waved her hand at Kikyo.

"Wow" she said, turned and walked away. Kikyo looked at Inuyasha who smiled.

"Told you" he said smugly. Kikyo rolled her eyes.

"Why was you holding hands with her then?" she asked. Inuyasha shrugged.

"It's harmless. That's just Kagome" he said. Kikyo, not liking his answer, turned and walked away. Inuyasha sighed and walked over to Kagome.

"Is she okay?" she asked. Inuyasha shrugged and shoved his hands into his pocket. He phone started to ring; he pulled it out and answered it.

"Yeah?"

Toga was sitting in office thinking over his latest plan. Hopefully his youngest wouldn't get hurt in the crossfire. He told Inuyasha to take Kagome with him to go shopping for Rin, since he needed it anyways. He reached over to grabbed his phone, deciding to check up on how he was doing.

"Yeah?"

"Hey how's everything going?" he asked sitting back in his chair. He heard Inuyasha snort.

"Good, almost got dumped by Kikyo" Inuyasha said. Toga snorted.

"Make sure when you get home, be a little affectionate" he heard his son pause on the other side. He could practically see the face he was making.

"Why?"

"Because I need him to get jealous" he said.

"Pops, you're weird. But fine I will help you. But I get ten 'jail free passes' I could killed because of you" he said. Toga nodded but remembered Inuyasha couldn't see him.

"Okay"

"Aight" Inuyasha hung up the phone. Toga hung the phone and started laughing.

"This is going to be too easy"
