For over a week now, Brittany had spent all her lunch breaks with Santana. In Santana's suite. They only had an hour together which was far too short but with Santana getting things ready for Sue Sylvester's charity event and running the casino, they didn't have much time outside of work.
Even with Blaine fully on board, Santana was working long hours. Brittany was working her usual long shifts to earn more money. Brittany understood, but she didn't like it. She wanted to spend every minute with her girlfriend and enjoy her.
Because of the situation with her father, it had also been a frustrating week. Brittany had agreed to meet him for dinner to talk. After work, she had picked up Jenny and they had gone to a pizza place their dad had always taken them as kids.
The dinner had been tense and awkward in the beginning but as it went on, things seemed to ease up a bit. Their dad told them about all the traveling he had done and how sorry he was he disappeared. Brittany wasn't buying it but Jenny seemed more open to taking their father back.
Brittany was going to make sure to keep an eye out on that. Luckily Jenny would be going on her senior trip for a long weekend so she didn't have to worry about her dad trying to talk Jenny behind Brittany's back.
Another great thing about Jenny being away was that she could spend the weekend with Santana.
Now, she was on her way to Santana's room for their daily lunch meet up. She was almost to the elevators when Quinn spotted her.
"Hey Quinn." Brittany stopped in her tracks and watched Quinn walk to her.
"Look at you," Quinn said with a smile, "This is like the fourth time this week I see you in here for your break. Hmm, I wonder why that is?"
Brittany winked at her friend. "Gee, it might be because I'm meeting my girlfriend." She loved saying that. Ever since Santana had checked with the hotel's human resources department that it was OK for them to date, Brittany had gone around telling everyone Santana was her girlfriend. It turned out that since Brittany didn't work in the hotel and was not reporting to Santana directly, they weren't breaking any rules.
Quinn just laughed. "You're such a dork, but a happy one. I'm really glad I get to see you smile more."
"Santana makes me smile."
Quinn hooked her arm around Brittany and walked with her. "At least she's making you smile because from what I hear she's got everyone working like crazy. No one is smiling."
"Well she is the boss." Brittany still had a hard time seeing Santana as mean or bossy. As hard as she tried, she couldn't. All she had ever seen was Santana be nice and sweet. And sexy.
"Anyway," Quinn continued, "Kurt's party is this weekend and instead of having it at Kurt's place, we're having it at The Elixir."
"Whoa that's cool," Brittany said, "What was wrong with Kurt's place?"
"Well, Mr. Social managed to get the invite list to more than what his apartment can hold. So instead of partying in a death trap, we're having it here."
"And the hotel is letting him?"
"We'll it's not like we are closing the place down but with the help of yours truly and that girlfriend of yours, we secured the back of the club for Kurt's party."
"That's awesome! See, I told you Santana was nice. She helped." Brittany wasn't really surprised Santana had helped Kurt out. The two had really hit it off and Santana considered Kurt her friend.
"OK, she's not so bad," Quinn admitted, "Unless you work for her. Then it's a different story." They reached the suite elevators. "Enjoy your lunch. I'm off to a meeting with Sue about having organic oranges or some shit at her charity event. Which by the way, she decided to move up to next weekend. That's going to be a nightmare."
"You'll do fine." Brittany gave Quinn a quick kiss on the cheek and bid her good-bye. "I'll call you later."
Brittany got in the elevator and rode up to Santana's floor. Each time she did this, it got easier and easier to enter the casino. Her anxiety was at an all time low. All she had to do was remind herself that she would see Santana.
The doors opened and Brittany smiled when she saw Santana waiting for her in the hallway.
"Hi." Santana bit her lip when she saw her girlfriend. Everyday this week she had waited for Brittany at the elevators so she didn't have to wait another minute to see her. She knew she was acting like a love-sick kid, but she didn't care. She only had one hour with Brittany and she was not going to waste one second.
Brittany stepped out of the elevator and engulfed Santana in a hug. "Hi. I missed you."
"I missed you too." Santana pulled back from the hug so she could kiss Brittany. She hadn't kissed her girlfriend near enough and with each day, the sexual energy between them was intensifying.
"I have a surprise for you," Brittany breathed into Santana's mouth.
"Please tell me this surprise involves you being naked," Santana teased.
Brittany giggled. "It does."
Santana was not expecting that answer and pulled back. "Seriously?"
Brittany kissed Santana quickly and grabbed her hand. "Let's go inside and I'll give you my surprise."
Santana let herself be led away as images of a naked Brittany invaded her mind. Once they were inside, Brittany pushed Santana up against the wall and kissed her.
In the week they had been dating, Brittany found that Santana liked when she took control. Brittany figured that Santana spent her whole day controlling others that when she was off the clock, she liked to let go. "I love kissing you. You have the most amazing lips, Santana."
The lunch Santana had set up for Brittany seemed to be forgotten. All Santana could focus on was Brittany. "I… I can't do this anymore Britt." Santana felt like she had run a marathon. Her arousal was through the roof and with each day it got harder to wait. She knew Brittany was just as eager which made it a little worse.
"Do what?" Brittany pulled back to look at Santana, "Do you want me to stop kissing you?"
"Hell no," Santana said as she licked Brittany's lips, "Don't ever stop kissing me."
"Good." Brittany returned the gesture and licked Santana's lip. "Cause I don't think I can."
Santana closed her eyes and took in a deep breath. "Fuck. You know, going back to work sexually frustrated isn't good for my employees. I keep snapping at them."
"Don't do that," Brittany pouted, "It's not their fault."
"I know." Santana ran her hands up and down Brittany's arms. "What's your surprise?"
"Well," Brittany said as she unbuttoned the top button of Santana's white blouse, "You know how we've both been working way too much?"
"Yeah?" Santana bit her lip as Brittany unbuttoned another button. This week had been pure torture. While she and Brittany talked every day on the phone, Santana wanted to actually spend time with her new girlfriend in person.
"And how we only spend our time eating and making out?" Brittany unbuttoned a third and fourth button revealing Santana's more than ample breasts. Brittany took a breath and ran her hand over them. "And how we want to be loud with each other?"
Santana's chest started rising and falling quicker as Brittany caressed the top of her breasts and then she let out what sounded like a squeak when Brittany bent down and kissed them. "Shit…Britt…you know I want you but not like this. Not a quickie."
Brittany gave the top of Santana's breasts one last kiss before standing up straight. "Then how about this weekend? Jenny is going to be gone for her senior trip until Tuesday and I traded some shifts so that I could have the weekend off."
Santana grinned. "Best surprise ever."
"I know you still work, but I was thinking that once Jenny leaves, I can pack a bag and stay here for the weekend. And when you get home, I'll be waiting."
The thought of coming home, well to her room, after a long day to Brittany made Santana's stomach all tingly. "No."
"No?" Brittany thought staying with Santana would be best. Maybe it was too soon?
Santana quickly kissed her girlfriend when she saw the hurt and confused look on her face. "No, I don't want to work and just have you waiting for me. I'll have Blaine cover me this weekend or I'll get Will or Finn to take point. I've worked like crazy without a day off and I'm tired. I miss you and with your sister gone, we finally have time to be together."
"So I can come stay with you?"
"Pack your bag," Santana said, "And as soon as Jenny is gone, come here." She kissed Brittany again before untangling herself and heading to table by the door. She opened a drawer and took out a spare room keycard to give Brittany. "Here. This is yours. And not just for this weekend."
Brittany took the card, a big smile on her face. "You're giving me a key to your place already?"
Santana let out a chuckle. "I know I'm probably promoting that whole U-Haul stereotype but I don't care. Fell free to come and go as you please."
Brittany held the card and tried not to stare too much at Santana's exposed cleavage. "You know, I might sneak in here in the middle of the night and have my way with you."
Santana smirked as she finished unbuttoning her shirt and proceeded to take it off. "I wish you would." Ever since she and Brittany had become official, Santana was finding it really hard to keep her hands off Brittany. To say that this week had been the hardest of her life was an understatement.
"Oh wow," Brittany whispered. She bit her lip as Santana got closer.
"Maybe I should just wear this while we eat lunch." Santana closed her eyes when Brittany reached over and cupped both breasts. "Maybe…if you want, I can go totally topless."
Brittany continued to massage Santana's breasts throughout the silk fabric. God, she loved Santana's breasts. They were so perfect and Brittany was so glad Santana had given her permission to touch them any time she wanted.
"I would love a topless lunch," Brittany said as she let Santana go, "But I'm starving and I'm going to need more than an hour to play around with those things."
Santana opened her eyes and laughed. "You're right." She quickly kissed Brittany before picking up her shirt and putting it back on. "Besides, we are going to have all weekend together to play around with each other."
Brittany took a deep breath. "I think I can behave until then."
####
Santana had just snapped at one of the floor managers for not keeping a closer eye on the floor. She knew she may have overreacted but she needed to let out all this sexual energy in some way. That was her last duty for the night and it was a good thing too. Santana was sure her staff hated her more than usual this week. With not seeing Brittany enough and Sue moving her auction up to next weekend, Santana was not a happy woman.
She went to her room and took a quick shower before changing into some shorts and tank top to sleep. She was exhausted. She got into bed and smiled knowing in just a couple of days, she'd be in this bed with Brittany.
It wasn't even about the sex. Well, maybe part of it was but the main thing Santana found herself looking forward to was just holding Brittany, talking with her.
"You got it bad, Lopez," she told herself. She picked up her phone and sent Blaine an email about finding her coverage for this weekend. And just a minute later, her phone rang.
"Bitch, I'm sleeping!" Santana said into the phone.
"You just sent me an email," Blaine said, slot machines pinging in the background, "Unless you finally mastered the skill of working while sleeping. I know you've tried to do that for years."
Santana sighed. "Not yet. So, what's up, Bush Brow? I'd like to go to sleep."
"Just wondering about this last-minute coverage request."
Santana rolled her eyes. She could hear the teasing in his voice. "What about it?"
"Just that I heard Brittany managed to get her weekend shifts covered and now here you are asking the same. And I just called to say I can get some of the senior guards to cover so you and Britt can touch lady bits."
"Good Lord! This casino is just one giant gossip machine. And you know nothing about lady bits, so shut it." Santana tried not to laugh. "But thank you for taking care of that. Britt and I have barely seen each other this week and it has sucked."
"I still cannot get over how fast you've fallen for this girl. It's a whole new side of you! I mean you've known her for a couple of months now and you still haven't slept with her."
"It's not about that," Santana quickly added, "I just…my whole life has been about school or work. Working at being the best. But with Brittany…"
"I get it."
"I'd gladly miss a month of work just to be with her." Santana looked to the empty side of her bed. Actually, the side wasn't completely empty since Fat Elvis had taken up residence there.
"If only our friends back home could see you now." Blaine chuckled. "Listen I have to go, but don't worry about this weekend. I'll find someone for both of us."
"Where are you going?" Santana asked.
"I just need coverage for the night of Kurt's party," Blaine said, "He cornered me today asking why I hadn't RSVP'd yet."
"Did he now?" Santana smirked.
"Stop it. We're friends. Just because we're both gay doesn't automatically mean we are going to hook up."
"Yes it does." Santana let out a small laugh then saw the time. "Shit. Look, I need to sleep so thank you for covering and I'll see you tomorrow."
"No problem. Good night Mrs. Brittany Pierce."
"Shut up." Santana hung up and went to sleep with a smile on her face.

Brittany looked at her small suitcase and wondering if she was forgetting something.
"Brittany!" Jenny shouted from the living room.
After what seemed like an eternity, tonight was the night she would be with Santana. She looked at her suitcase again and hoped she had packed enough for the long weekend. She looked at the clock and knew she needed to leave soon. She had traded her shifts and instead of her usual late shift, she picked up an early one so she could be off by five.
"BRITTANY! Let's go!"
She zipped up her suitcase, got her purse and went out to the living room to her impatient sister. "All right, let's go."
"About time." Jenny had her own bags already lined up by the front door." Why are you stressing? If you forgot something you can just come back here and get it or have Santana get it from the hotel. I'm the one who's going to be in the middle of the desert and if I forgot something, I'm out of luck."
"Do you think you forgot something? Did you pack a snake kit?"
Jenny opened the front door and started putting her bags outside. "I packed like six of those. But luckily we're staying in cabins so I'm sure we'll be fine."
They each took their bags out to Brittany's taxi and packed it up. Brittany went back to the apartment just to make sure she locked everything and checked in on her scooter. "OK, all good." Brittany got in the car, her sister already in the passage seat. "Bye apartment! See ya Tuesday."
Jenny chuckled, "Why do you always say good-bye to our place when we go away for a trip"
"I just want to make sure it knows we're coming back."
"Did you tell it that you're cheating with a luxury hotel suite." Jenny didn't even try to keep from laughing.
"I did and the apartment understand," Brittany said, seriously.
"So you and Santana finally getting things started, huh?" Jenny knew that Brittany would be away as well and more than approved. Brittany didn't keep secrets from Jenny and her sister was almost 18 so treating her like a kid was not an option.
"It's not just about sex, Jenny." Brittany turned into the main street. "I just want to spend time with her."
"Naked time." Jenny teased.
"Yes naked time too, but clothed time also. I really like her."
"I know. So, have you told her? About you planning to move to San Fran with the grandparents?"
Brittany just shook he head. "I'm going to tell her this weekend and I'm still not sure when. Maybe I'll stay a few months after you leave. I…I was ready to go and then Santana happened."
"You have to be sure, Britt. Don't move just to be closer to me. We can figure something out." Jenny reached over and squeezed her sister's thigh. "For once, do something for you OK? Not me."
Brittany let out a small breath hoping the urge to cry would go away. "We'll see."
They finally arrived at Jenny's school along with most of the other parents and kids. Brittany parked near the drop off area and helped Jenny with her bags. Brittany reached in her pocket and gave her sister one last-minute package.
"Condoms?" Jenny grabbed the box and immediately put it in her purse. "You couldn't have given me these at home?"
"I was hopping to embarrass you," Brittany laughed, "And I know Jason is going on this trip so, you know, better safe than sorry."
Jenny started laughing too and hugged her sister. "Well, thanks. And if I had whatever the lesbian version of a box of condoms is for your weekend, I would totally give it to you."
"Oh God." Brittany watched her sister's maybe boyfriend approach and ask to help Jenny with her bags. "Hey Jason."
"Hey Brittany." Jason was a sweet boy and treated Jenny well.
"I gotta get to work," Brittany said, "You guys have fun and I'll pick you up on Tuesday."
"Bye Britt." Jenny gave her one last hug and began to walk to the bus.
"USE THE BOX!" Brittany shouted when her sister was halfway to the bus. Her sister turned around and flipped her off.
Brittany got in the taxi and headed to work.
#####
Santana looked across the conference table and watched as Sue Sylvester looked through her security plan for the third time. It was bad enough Sue had pushed up her charity event, but she was also questioning Santana's security proposal.
"Hmm…" Sue pursed her lips and turned the page.
Santana took a slow breath and made a fist under the table. She looked at the clock on the wall behind Sue and saw it was already 5:16. Brittany had ended her shift 16 minutes ago and was probably on her way up to the room. Santana had wanted to be there before Brittany, but that wasn't going to happen.
"Do you have somewhere to be?" Sue asked, turning to the next page.
"I have another meeting soon." Santana brought her hands up to the desk and folded them. "I can assure you Sue that I've covered every area and that your diamonds will be secure. And my staff is more than ready."
Sue closed the folder and looked up. "I have a huge insurance policy on those little gems so if they do end up missing, I'm covered. So it's not the money I care about. It's my reputation. This event is my legacy and I cannot have anything go wrong."
"It won't," Santana said confidently.
"It better not." Sue got up and grabbed the proposal. "Let's meet again later this week."
Santana got up and gave Sue her best work smile. "I'll have my assistant set something up."
"Good."
As soon as Sue walked out, Santana sat back down and let out a long breath. "Fucking hell. I have to get an assistant."
"Was it that bad?"
Santana turned her chair to face Blaine as he entered the conference room. "She got a little scary but nothing I couldn't handle."
"Of course," Blaine chuckled, "Anyway, I wanted to ask if you and Brittany wanted to have dinner tonight. Brittany and I haven't had a chance to bond in person and since she's staying the weekend…"
"Whoa, what do you mean 'in person'?"
"Britt and I are text buddies," Blaine said sweetly.
"You've been texting with my girlfriend?"
"Mmm hmmm." Blaine smiled. "She's hilarious. I can see why you like her so much."
Santana got up and walked up to her friend. "You better not be telling her embarrassing stories about me or I'll shave your eye brows and tattoo them back in place."
"Me? Never."
Santana punched Blaine in the shoulder. "Jerk. Look, I'd love to gossip with you over dinner but I haven't spent more than an hour with Brittany all week and I plan on sticking to her side all weekend. Preferably just the two of us."
"Look at you all clingy." Blaine shook his head. "Careful. According to Cosmo, being a clingy girlfriend is a relationship killer."
"Wait, you think that's too clingy?" Santana now wondered if her plan to just stay locked in her room all weekend was a bad one. And maybe a little creepy. "It is, isn't it? I've become one of those girls I dumped as soon as they walked too close to me."
"I'm just saying, slow it down," Blaine said, "The way you're acting now, I wouldn't be surprised to find an engagement ring in your pocket."
"OK, now you're exaggerating. I'll ask Britt if she wants to do dinner, but I'm hoping that she'd rather do me." Santana chuckled at her own joke.
"Romantic," Blaine said, not at all amused.
"Whatever."
Santana went to her office and logged out for the day. She practically sprinted to the elevators and managed to get to her room in less than 10 minutes.
"Britt?" Santana dropped her stuff next to the small table near the door. She could feel Brittany was here, even if she didn't see her.
Brittany was looking out the window to watch the busy strip down bellow when she heard Santana come in and felt her heart beat a little faster at hearing her girlfriend's voice. She left the bedroom and went to greet her. "Hi!"
Santana actually felt her heart swell at coming home to Brittany. And she liked it. Maybe she was showing signs of being clingy but if being clingy made her this happy, then maybe it wasn't a bad thing. "Did Jenny ship off OK?"
"Yup." Brittany rushed over to Santana and brought her in for a hug. "I thought this day would never end," she said giving Santana a kiss.
"Me too." Santana melted into Brittany's arms and took in a deep breath, inhaling Brittany's scent. "You smell so good. You smell like… Mmmmm."
"Mexican food?"
Santana pulled back with a laugh. "What?"
"I had a burrito for lunch and every time I eat one, I feel like I smell like one for the rest of the day. I smell like a burrito right?"
"No." Santana was still smiling. "You don't smell like a burrito. I was going to say you…" She looked down, suddenly shy and wondering if her answer was just dumb.
"Like what?" Brittany leaned in to Santana's neck and breathed in. "I can tell you, that you smell like a rainbow."
"A rainbow? How is that possible?" Santana kissed Brittany's chin.
"Cause I love rainbows and they make me happy." Looking at Santana at this moment, Brittany knew she was falling hard for Santana. "You make me happy."
"You make me happy too," Santana whispered. She felt like the wind had gotten knocked out of her. In a good way. "I was going to say that you smell like…home."
"Is that good?"
Santana gently kissed Brittany's lips. "It's very good."
Brittany smiled before kissing her girlfriend. She still needed to tell Santana about her possibly moving to San Francisco. That had been the plan for months, before Santana. What what about now?
Santana deepened the kiss and felt the day's stress just leave her body. Coming home to Brittany was something she knew she wanted to do again. She loved her. She loved Brittany. "This is going to be the best weekend ever."
"It totally is." Brittany let Santana go and stepped back. "Now, go get out of those work clothes and change."
"So demanding," Santana said with a smirk, "What do you want me to wear? Lingerie?"
"No. I mean, sure, later, but not for dinner," Brittany said, "We're meeting Blaine and Quinn in like an hour."
That was not the plan Santana had in mind. "Say what?"
"Blaine texted me and invited us." Brittany quickly kissed Santana's cheek and then went to pick up her suitcase. "Can I use one of your drawers?"
"Ummm yeah, of course." Santana followed a smiling Brittany to her bedroom. "That sneaky bastard. I just saw him 10 minutes ago. And where did Quinn come from?"
"Her mom," Brittany began unpacking and arranging her clothes in the drawer. It wasn't much since she was only staying a few days but she couldn't help but smile at the fact that she had her own drawer in Santana's room.
"Her mom? What?" Santana was getting lost.
"Quinn's mom gave birth to her, so that's where she came from."
"Oh, OK." Santana sat on her bed. "I mean, how did she end up going to dinner with us?"
"I invited her," Brittany said, "We were supposed to hang out last week but we got busy. This way we can hang out with both at the same time."
"Britt…"
Brittany closed the drawer and went to sit next to Santana. "We have tonight, all day tomorrow and the next. There's plenty of time to get loud. Plus I miss just hanging out with you and would like to do it in public too. And, I'm hungry."
"I miss you too and I don't want you to think me not thrilled about our dinner plans is because it's postponing us, you know, being loud." Santana grabbed Brittany's hand. "I just want to be alone with you."
Brittany felt bad. Here her girlfriend wanted to be with her and she was off making plans with other people without asking Santana. "I'm sorry. I should have asked you if you were OK with this."
"No honey," Santana said, sweetly, "It's totally fine. Look, I'm sorry too. You've worked all week and haven't had time to spend with your friends. I haven't hung out with Blaine since he got here, so this is good."
"Are you sure? We'll see them at Kurt's party."
Brittany's pout made Santana want to give her everything. "I'm sure." She got up. "I'm going to go change then we can go have dinner. I'm actually starving."
Brittany smiled as she watched Santana go into the bathroom. She turned around and saw the Elvis doll she had bought prominently on display among the fluffy pillows.
Santana had told her she smelled like home. Looking around the hotel room, Brittany was struck how much she felt at home in this hotel room. It wasn't the room. It was Santana. Brittany then realized just what Santana had meant when she said that.
"Oh," she said softly to the room.

A/N: Remember when I said I wouldn't wait so long for the next update? Well, apparently I'm a huge liar cause that's what I did. I'm beyond sorry. I won't make any promises this time but I will say that I will finish this story. I've never abandoned a story and I'm not about to start now. Short one but better than nothing. :)
