Wiress smiled as she pulled a baking sheet full of bite sized breakfast rolls out of one of two ovens in her gourmet kitchen. She smiled hearing Beetee talking animatedly about his newest invention at the dining room table. "Beetee, children, breakfast." Wiress called. After ten years and several surgeries, she nearly had her voice back. She smiled at the twelve students dressed in the Engineering Academy uniforms. After so many years, the uniform was still a navy sweater over a white blouse with black slacks or a skirt. "Now, did you all do your homework –"

"Yes, Mrs. Tesla." The dozen eleven year-olds chorused. These students were the highest achieving students from other districts that wished to study engineering and inventing. As soon as construction was completed on the new classrooms in the Noah and Estelle Tesla Engineering Academy, Beetee and Wiress asked to open their home to first year students from the other districts.

"Good, now eat up." Wiress smiled as the children ate their breakfast. She nodded at Beetee who made his way down the hallway to the boys' room. Once he parked his chair in the doorway, he steadied himself and examined the organized chaos of the dorm room. Not finding any stray backpacks or books in the room, he returned to the dining room.

"They all seem to have their homework, dear." He whispered in Wiress' ear. Wiress came from examining the girls'slightly cleaner room in time to hear the buzzer in the dining room. The Teslas made sure all twlevee students had their backpacks and books before wishing them a good day at school. As the last student left, the Teslas looked at each other and smiled. "I was thinking of showing the kids my new invention in our workshop wing."

"After they are all finished –"

"Yes, after they all finish their homework, dear." Beetee chuckled wrapping his wife in a hug. "You still fuss."

"Yes, but I don't worry like I did with our Noah and Estelle." Wiress said looking at the pictures of their children displayed in the dining room. "These children can achieve anything they want. These children are truly free."
