Heyy guys so guess what I wasn't killed over my report card :D I did get in trouble which was expected by hey, I'm not dead. That's the postive.

So welcome back and enjoy chapter 13

"Clove. Marvel is cheating on me..."

Clove was stunned at what she had just heard.

"Cheating? What do you mean cheating?" she asked.

"Marvel came over for a bit after we left, he went to the bathroom and a text from a girl named Katie popped up on his phone. She said how she couldn't wait to see him tonight" Glimmer said trying to hold back tears over the phone.

"It could of been a wrong number" Clove said trying to cheer her up, but on the inside she was happy she didn't have to tell Glimmer. Saved her the work of Glimmer finding out herself.

"No it wasn't. The text came up under the contact Katie and it had hearts with her name. He's been cheating on me Clove, and from the looks of it; he's been doing it for a while"

Clove wasn't going to come clean about knowing Marvel was cheating on Glimmer, not yet anyways. "It's okay sweetheart. He's an idiot for doing that to you, I hate him"

Clove could almost here her smiling over the phone from the comfort. "Yes he is an idiot, I hate his guts"

"Good you should, now I gotta go. Cato's taking me home are you gonna be alright for now?"

"Ya I'll be fine" She said as she sniffled.

"Okay good. Bye" Clove said as she hung up her phone.

"What was that about?" Cato said looking down at her.

Clove just smiled as she slid her phone into her coat pocket. "Girl trouble. Marvel is cheating on Glimmer"

"What a douche" Cato said as he grabbed his bag. "Now can we go back to the part about Carter hurting you"

"There's nothing to talk about" she said as she slung her bag over her shoulder and started walking towards the door.

"Yes there is" he said sternly as he ran up catching beside her. "I need to know about your past Clove, we've been dating for what? A month now, and I almost know nothing about you"

"Can we keep it that way?" she said walking faster. "I didn't mean to tell you what I did okay? Just forget about it"

Cato came to a halt and grabbed onto her arm forcing her towards him making her stop. "You mean you were never planning on telling me?" he said mad.

"No" she whispered.

"Clove, you can't keep secrets like this from me. I am never going to forget. This man's life right now is hanging in the balance from what he has done to you"

"Cato just drop it okay? I don't want to talk about it" She said as they got outside the cold air opening Clove's jacket as she tugged it closer to her body.

Cato blew heavily out of his mouth, frustrated. "Just get in the car" he said.

Clove got in the car with Cato and not another word was said the entire way home.

When Clove got home she dumped her bag in the hallway and ran up to her room. She pulled out her phone and hit speed dial four. After about three rings the other end picked up.

"Hello?"

"Hey Glim its me. You up for some RD?" she asked.

"Ill be over in fifteen" she said before hanging up.

RA for them was called relationship drinking. It was a code they used when they needed a drink because of relationship problems. And right on cue after fifteen minutes Clove's doorbell rang and Glimmer stood in the doorway a bottle of vodka in hand.

"And I just don't get why he's mad at me" Clove said. They sat in her bedroom drinking out of the bottle as they talked.

"Mad at you? I'm pissed with Marvel right now. I haven't said anything to him yet, I want to make him pay for what he's done. And Cato's mad because you didn't tell him. Trust is the most important key in a relationship"

"Marvel didn't trust you enough to tell you that he was cheating" Clove said drinking the vodka.

"Hey" Glimmer said pointing a finger at her. "Don't you use that reverse psychology shit on me"

"Well its true. What are we gonna do about Cato being mad and Marvel cheating?"

Clove groaned as she turned her alarm off. Drinking on a school night might of not been the best idea, but the talk with Glimmer had really helped. She knew why Cato was mad yes, but it was a touchy subject for her. He was mad that she hadn't told him but she was mad that he couldn't understand that she didn't want to bring it up. Carter had made a big enough problem for her several months ago and now he was creating an even bigger on with her current relationship.

"If the purge could happen for one night, he would be the first one I'd kill" she hissed as she dressed.

She called Kat that night and had told her she didn't need a ride to school as she would drive herself. But as she drove down the road in her black sports car she was starting to regret that being hungover.

By the time she pulled into the school she had the feeling of throwing up and when she saw Glimmer she knew she did too. She didn't look as good as she did everyday. Her eyeliner was slightly off, her foundation didn't seem to cover her face, she had lipstick a little bit off her mouth and she was wearing all black. Something Glimmer never did.

Clove was grateful when she saw it was only the girls waiting for her today. Neither Marvel or Cato were in sight.

"Good morning. Why didn't you invite us to drinking last night" Jackie said as soon as Clove reached them.

"It was a last minute thing. RD" she said holding her hand her black sunglasses reflecting the sun.

"What was RD about?" Kat asked.

"Well I found out Marvel has been cheating on me for a while now and Cato found out about Carter hitting Clove when they were together. Is that a good enough excuse for RD"

"Marvel's been cheating on you?!"

"And Cato found out?!"

"Yes" they both said as the same time.

"Look can we get out of this sunlight my head is killing me. I just want to finish the day and go home to sleep for the rest of the night" Glimmer said.

"Well that's going to be hard, seeing as the dance is tonight" Kat said smiling.

"What?!" They both said again.

"Remember the masquerade dance? Glimmer how could you forget? Your head of the dance committee"

"Your right" she said hitting her hand into her head. "God I'm such an idiot I totally forgot with this whole Marvel thing. I didn't even have time to get a mask"

"Don't worry I bought four when I went shopping you can borrow one of mine" Kat said.

"Why do I have a feeling this isn't going to end well?" Clove asked.

"This dress is tight" Clove said as she struggled to pull up the zipper of a skimpy dark purple tube dress.

"Here let me help" Kat said as she pulled up the straps of a light blue dress onto her shoulders before zipping Clove up.

Clove wore her hair in curls with half of it pinned up along with her deep purple dress black heels and black mask. Kat wore her tank baby blue dress with sliver heels and a white lacy mask with her long red hair strait. Glimmer wore a peach halter dress with sliver shoes and a silver sparkly mask with her hair in beach style waves. And Jackie wore a leopard dress with her hair in a mess of curls along with a black mask and heels.

They all stood in the mirror at Jackie's house looking themselves over before they left.

"Okay" Clove said before they went downstairs. They gathered in a circle as Clove spoke.

"Even with all this crap that has been happening lately I don't want it to affect our night. I want us to all have fun, even with these problems. Lets make tonight our bitch"
