Hope you guys had an awesome Christmas and New years just like I did. Got everything I asked for and was drunk for New Years with my friends. Couldn't of asked for a better Holiday :) How did your holidays go? Leave me a comment in the reviews :D

So this is a new year party one as last chapter was Christmas, and if you guys can't already tell I'm going off the time of months as it is for us.

Clove drowned a shot of rum in a matter of seconds. The burning liquid slid down her throat but she shook it off as she went to pour another one.

"Wow slow down there tiger its only ten a clock. New years isn't even close yet" Cato said coming up behind her and wrapping his arms around her waist. She snuggled into him closer as she turned around to look at him.

"Its only two shots. It will hardly get me buzzed" she complained taping her hands on his hard chest.

"Yes but remember the last time you got really drunk in front of me? We made out" he said a smirk on his pretty little face.

"Were together now, would you really object to that?"

"No" he said smiling as he kissed her on the lips.

Her, Cato and almost everybody that went to there school were at Clove's house for a New Years party. Her parents were out for the night with friends and had agreed to let her do the party because Glimmer had the last one and couldn't do it. The music was loud as it vibrated the floor, people all around the house were dancing and having a good time, drinks were everywhere as everybody was getting drunk but mostly everybody was having a good time.

Clove scanned the room looking for her friends. She caught sight of Kat and Peeta snuggling on the couch together. The light shone off Kats hand reflecting a gleam from the rock that was on her hand. Petta for Christmas had decided to get her a gold band with a giant diamond placed on it. It wasn't an engagement ring, or promise ring it was a just a Christmas present to her, and everybody in there group was still wondering how he got the money for it.

All in all everybody had an amazing Christmas. Clove had gotten Cato front row seats to see his favourite hockey team play in a month. She had dozen of presents from her parents, including upgrades to her car, a new cell phone and they were taking her on a cruise in the summer.

Clove walked away from Cato who had stopped to talk to friends. She made her way to the kitchen to make herself another drink. Her heels clicked along the floor as she did and she had a feeling that soon her shoes would be long gone off her feet. To match her gold heels she was wearing a gold sparkly dress with her hair in waves. All the girls wanted to match so Clove had a gold sparkly dress, Glimmer had a sliver one, Kat had a red one and Jackie had a black one. They each matched there dress with coloured heels and makeup.

She had made the party semi formal. So everybody that came was dressed up in dresses and and dress shirts. As she popped open a cooler she could feel the guys behind her in the kitchen staring at her butt as she had her back turned to them.

"I know you guys are staring at my butt" she said as she popped the top and turned around to see three guys as she took a chug of the cooler.

"We are not" one of them protested. He was a senior like her and was wearing all black with a red solo cup in his hand. The stench of rum and weed enclosed around him.

"I have eyes in the back of my head I know you all were" she said rolling her eyes taking another sip.

The guys looked at each other. "Even if we were, your not making it that hard with that dress" another one said looking down at her thighs and where the dress cut off.

"Try that again and my boyfriend will beat the crap out of you" she said starting to turn away from the guys.

"Oh and whos your boyfriend?" They said laughing as if it were a big joke. She turned around back to them.

"Cato Monto" she smiled simply as she walked away and saw a glimpse of the boys faces. Shock covered them.

She smiled as she continued down the hall until she ran into Jackie. She had a beer in her hand a cigarette in the other, and it was lit.

"Hey" she said taking a sip.

"Jackie the only request I make is that you smoke outside please. If my parents smell the smoke, I'm dead"

"Okay, okay. Will you come outside with me to finish it?"

"Sure" they headed over to the front door and Clove opened up the closet door and handed a jacket to Jackie and slid one on herself.

Clove opened the door and stepped outside onto her porch. Several kids were sitting on the porch or standing on the grass smoking. Jackie handed her drink to Clove to pull out her lighter and re light her cigarette. She inhaled deeply as she blew the smoke out. She took her drink back from Clove and alternated between drinking and smoking.

"Can I have a hit?" Clove asked. Jackie blew the smoke out and handed it to Clove. She took a short intake and passed it back to Jackie.

"Have you seen the other girls?" she asked, the smoke coming out of her mouth and being carried away the strong cold wind.

"I saw Glimmer like twenty minutes ago, but no sign from Kat"

"Last I saw her was in the basement but that was like an hour ago. Well she's here somewhere. Check the bathtub that's were we found her last time" Clove laughed with Jackie as she finished her smoking and they headed back into the house, freezing from standing outside for ten minutes.

"Wheres our boyfriends?" Jackie questioned as they slipped off their coats and put them back in the closet.

"No clue"

"We should find them soon its eleven seventeen. New years is in less then an hour away"

"True, but I need to be more drunk before New years happens" as she made her way to the kitchen for more drinks.

"So what did you get her for Christmas?" Thresh asked. The guys were all hanging out in the basement together.

"Diamond ring" Peeta answered.

"Question: How the hell did you afford that? I saw it on Kats finger its the size of a finger nail" Cato exclaimed.

"I had lots of money saved and I thought she deserved it. We've been dating for almost a year now in February"

Cato just shook his head. "I got Clove a birthstone ring. It had her and mine stones with our initials"

"That's cute. I got Glimmer a one hundred dollar gift card to Victoria's Secret" Marvel said smirking.

"Why there?"

"Because all they sell is lingerie"

"Nice" all the guys said high fiving him and giving a slap on the arm or back"

"So whats happening with the girls lately?" asked Thresh.

"Me and Clove are fine"

"Kats never been happier with that ring on her finger"

"Glimmer and me are good"

"Jackie's been acting weird lately. I don't know whats up"

"Has the sex been good?" questioned Marvel.

"Ya it has. She said she was switching her birth control pills about a two weeks ago and she said they have minor side affects that only last about a month. Mood was one of them, maybe that's it" he simply said. "Heck I don't understand anything that goes on in the girl world" he said hands in the air. "Even if I don't understand her I do need to find her though" he said leaving.

"Ya we should all find our girls" Cato said to the rest of them as they headed upstairs. The pushed there way though the groups of people and then past the couples making out on the staircase. Once on the main floor it was even more crowed. It seemed like kids who didn't even go to there school had showed up.

Not worrying they all found there girl friends within minutes. They were in the kitchen making themselves drinks. There shoes were now taken off and they guys could tell from the way they stood that they were pretty intoxicated.

Cato came up behind Clove and wrapped his arms around her waist. She giggled as she turned around and kissed him. He could taste the alcohol that lingered on her mouth, but as he pulled back he could tell she was eager for more; a lot more. She pouted as she looked into his eyes.

She took another sip of a drink in a red cup as she stared at him. Soon people started getting excited in the living room.

"Common, its all most time" he said as he hooked Clove's arm though his and made there way to the living room with the rest of the guys and there girls trailing them.

On the TV was the ball drop that was happening in New York. The ten second countdown was about to happen.

"TEN!"

"NINE!"

"EIGHT!" Clove snugged into Cato.

"SEVEN!"

"SIX!" Cato wrapped his arm around her waist pulling her closer.

"FIVE!"

"FOUR!" Clove wrapped her arms around Cato's neck.

"THREE!" There faces were only inches apart.

"TWO!"

"ONE!"

"HAPPY NEW YEAR!" Cato pressed his lips onto Cloves just as the clock struck midnight. It was a perfect ending to last year and an amazing beginning to the new year.

She deepened the kiss being hungry for it. Cato knew exactly what she wanted. He pulled away and grabbed her hand as he guided his way though the tons of people until they reached the stairs. They headed up until they reached Clove's bedroom. This was Cato's first time being up here but he didn't pay much attention to it as he slammed the door shut and clicked the lock.

He immediately found Clove's lips again as hers crashed onto his. He stepped forward as she stepped back. His hands gracefully found the zipper to the back of her dress and he zipped it down so hard the zipper almost broke off.

His hands went to cup her face between kisses as they fell onto her bed. And it was that night that they did it.
