She walked around to see as she watched Kate walk in her front door with Carter on her arm.

"Hi Clove" Kate said as she spotted her. She wore a black one shoulder dress with black shinny heels. Her blonde hair was pinned away from her face in a mess of curls and she had on way to much makeup. Carter stood beside her a smirk on his face. It had healed from when Cato had punched him a couple months ago but she really wished it hadn't.

"What are you doing here?" Clove asked as she folded her arms over her chest.

"Its a party" Kate said smiling. "And last time I checked it wasn't invitation"

"Still doesn't mean you can drop into my house. I don't like you, and I don't want you here"

"Oh I'm so sorry hunny" Kate said. "That you feel so threatened by me to not invite me to your party"

"First off" Clove said stepping closer to Kate pointing a finger at her face. "I am in no way threatened by you. I just don't want you here as I do not like you. Plus nobody trusts you around there boyfriends"

"Oh and why would that be?" Kate said starting to get nasty herself. Carter stood beside her not saying a word. He knew better than to step in between what was happening between the two girls.

"Because your a whore" Clove said. People at this point had started to crowd around them, watching to see what would happen. "Its probably as wide as a cave down there" she said smirking.

Everybody oh'd as they covered there mouths trying not to laugh to hard. Kate held up her own though. She blinked and let out a breath before looking back at Clove. If she was embarrassed, she didn't show it.

"At least I can get laid" she said as she tried to pull Carter into the party but Clove stepped in front of him not letting them pass.

"And you" she said jabbing him in the chest with a pointy painted nail. "Why the hell are you here?"

"I was invited by Kate" he said.

"Doesn't mean you show up" she said pushing her hair out of her face. "You were never supposed to cross onto this property remember?"

"Clove are we really going to do this now?" He said shaking his head. "I want to enjoy the party"

"The only thing you will be enjoying is my fist across your face"

"You wouldn't dare" he said.

"Try me" she said. Just as she brought her fist up to connect with his jaw someone grabbed her arm and pulled her back from Carter. It was Cato.

"Not here" he said as he dragged her away from the room by her waist. He dragged her though the living room and finally let her go when they were in the kitchen.

"Why did you pull me away?!" Clove said demanding.

"Because I didn't want you to cause a scene" he said gently as he handed her a drink from the counter. She took the cup and drowned it in seconds.

"Well" she said as she pulled the cup back and wiped her mouth on her arm leaving a tail of light pink lipstick along it. "What you just did, made a even bigger scene"

"I was just trying to save you from ruining your birthday party"

"He's already ruined it don't you understand?" she said her breath kicking up. "Last time he was at my house was my seventeenth birthday last year. That was when he walked out on me. Now he's here for my eighteenth and I have a feeling this party is going to end bad"

"Its only going to end bad if you make it bad" Cato said as he pulled her into a hug. "Just do not let it bother you. Okay?"

"Okay" she said. "But if this ends bad I'm blaming you"

It was eleven pm and the party was still going strong by far. Clove had let Kate and Carter go, unwillingly but if something went wrong they were the first people she was going after. Clove kept her ground though, walking around saying hi to everybody.

She eventually found herself in her backyard where she saw her friends sitting in the cabana.

"Hey guys" she said as she sat down beside Kat, Jackie across from her.

"Hey" Kat said swallowing her drink in her mouth. "Hows it going?"

"Pretty good" she said as she took another sip from whatever was in her cup. "Were running out of alcohol in there"

"We always do" Kat said sighing as she finished off the last of her drink. "Hey Jackie can I have a cigarette?"

Jackie snapped out of her daze and looked up at Kat. "What?" she stuttered not hearing her the first time.

"Can I have a cigarette?" Kat asked sticking out her hand. "God how drunk are you? You are so out of it"

"I'm not drunk" she protested. "Plus I don't have my cigarette's with me"

"What why? You always have them on you"

Jackie's face flushed and she tired to hide it."I just decided to quit"

"After all the lecturing we give you about smoking, you now decide to quit?"

"I went to my doctor the other day and she showed me what it has been doing to my body. I decided to end it, so I can be healthier"

"Okay" Kat said not believing her as she dropped her out stretched hand. "It's still seems pretty fishy though"

"Just drop it okay?" Jackie said getting annoyed as as she stood up fixing her dress. "I'm going to pee" she said as she got up and left leaving Kat and Clove alone outside.

"Gosh what's her problem?" Kat said as she took another sip of her drink.

Clove sighed as she finished off what was last in her cup. "I think its the time of the month"

Back in the house the music was louder than ever. It vibrated the floors and you couldn't even hear yourself talk. It wouldn't be long until the neighbours called the cops. Clove found herself wondering her halls before she ran into Glimmer.

"So we doing shots?" Glimmer slurred her words. She was already far passed remembering tomorrow. And the next week if she kept it up.

Clove laughed as she tried not to spill her drink in her hand. "Your already drunk" she said.

"And I want to be more" she said as she pulled out lipstick from her clutch and applied it to her mouth almost going out of the lines of her lips.

"Hey if you can find something to do shots with than be my quest. Almost everything this gone"

"I'll take that as a challenge" she said as turned around and started off down the hallway towards the kitchen. Stumbling as she went in her bare feet. She had ditched her heels and it was a good idea. Seeing as if she still had them on she would be on her face. Although she was quite close to being on it now even in her bare feet.

Clove turned around and went in the opposite way of Glimmer. It was a good thing her parents weren't coming home until tomorrow night as it was going to take a good day to clean up and get the drunk people out of her house.

"Hey" Clove said as she bumped into Marvel. "Have you seen Cato? I haven't seen him for a while"

"Nope" Marvel said looking over his shoulder. "Have you seen Glimmer though?"

"Yep. Kitchen" she said pointing in the direction. "Went to find more alcohol"

"God damn it" He said as she strode off towards Glimmer.

Clove turned back around and headed towards her family room. Where a big table was set up and people were starting off a game of beer pong.

"Hey Clove you wanna join?" A guy from her class yelled at her over the music as he pointed to the cups.

She nodded her head smiling as she went over to join them. They divided into there groups and started off the game. At the beginning Clove found herself drinking a lot but as more balls were thrown into cups she found herself winning along with her partners. At the end she and her partner had won.

"Yes" she said as she high-fived him. "Sucks doesn't it?" she said turning to her losing opponent's. She laughed as she stumbled a little gripping onto the table for support.

She was really drunk now and she was really going to regret it this morning. "I have to go find my boyfriend" she slurred like she had a lisp and stumbled off. After searching her entire main floor she headed towards the staircase.

She tumbled up the first few steps but got somewhat control once she was halfway up. She finally was almost at the top of the stairs as she looked up away from her feet. She looked up at the landing and saw Cato and Kate. Even though her blurry vision she could still clearly make out what she saw.

They were kissing.
