Heeeey guys hope you had great last week and a good this week! Things have been so stressful with projects this week for me but I got them done no muss no fuss. Anyways hope you all liked the last chapter ending and how many of you are going to prom or already went to prom? Our prom is in June but I'm not going as I'm only a grade 11 but hopefully next year!

"Will you go to prom with me Clove?"

Clove was absolutely speechless. She stood there looking at Cato's smiling face and some people had stopped to watch her. She couldn't say no with all these people around as it would look awful but at the same time she didn't want to go to prom with Cato. She hadn't even thought about prom until that day.

"Well are you going to say yes?" Cato asked.

"Am I supposed to?" She asked raising her eyebrows. "I don't even want to go to prom"

"Why not?" He asked. The people around then realized it wasn't going to be interesting and started to back away just leaving the two of them alone. "Why won't you go to prom with me?"

"Is that even an actual question?" She asked crossing her arms over her chest. "After everything that you have put me through, you expect me to go to prom with you?"

"I thought we were getting better" he protested. "When I went to see you I thought we were getting back on track to being us"

Clove scoffed at him as she rolled her eyes. "Just because I finally decided to talk to you and not give you the silent treatment after you basically broke into my house" she said leaving forward. "Doesn't mean I'm ready to forgive you and go to prom with you"

"Who are you going to go with then?" He questioned. "Your not going to go with any of the guys here"

"I wasn't going to even go to prom at all" she said almost yelling at him. "And look now I'm late for class" she said looking around the halls. They were empty expect for the two of them. "You've made me fifteen minutes late with this proposal"

"You wouldn't be late if you had just said yes" he said sighing.

"Why don't you ask Kate" she suggested. "You guys seemed pretty tight and all"

"I told you" he said getting frustrated. "I haven't had feelings for her in almost a year, you are the only one I like" Clove knew this arguing wasn't going to get her anywhere, and now she was twenty minutes late to class and boy was her teacher going to kill her.

"I'll make you a deal" she said getting frustrated herself. Cato nodded at her. "I'll go to prom with you if you never speak to her or even look at her again, and you let me leave for class right now"

"Deal!" He said almost before she had the chance to finish her sentence.

"Okay good" she said as she stared to back away him slowly. "I guess I'll see you later then"

"See you later" he said smiling still standing at her locker. Clove turned around and walked away from him towards her class which she was now going to get a detention for being late. With even that on her mind she left the hall smiling thinking about prom.

"AHHH I can't believe he asked you!" Glimmer squealed later that day at lunch. Clove picked at her sandwich that she had taken a few bites off. She was back to her old eating habits and she couldn't decide whether it was a bad or good thing.

"Well I didn't exactly have a choice" she said rolling her eyes. "He basically cornered me and wouldn't let me leave until I said yes. Plus it didn't help that you all ditched me in the hall"

"Sorry" Kat said. "But we have all been waiting for the moment and you would of been gone if we stayed with you"

"Wait!?" Clove said almost spitting up her water that she had taken a sip from her water bottle. "You guys knew he was going to ask me?"

"Ya" Glimmer said nonchalantly. "We've known for like two weeks, we helped plan it for God sakes"

"And you didn't think to tell me?" Clove questioned.

"Sorry" Kat said shrugging her shoulders and she sipped her pop. "You would of ditched, and avoided him until graduation"

"Your damn right" she said as she finished off the last of her water. "So I have to go with him now don't I?"

"Yep don't have a choice" Glimmer said smiling.

"Uhh" Clove said groaning.

The bell rang for the end of the day and Clove headed out to her car. She had to run a few errands after school so she took her car. She fiddled with her keys as she pressed the automatic unlock on the control pad.

"Hey clove!" Someone called her just a few feet from her black sports car. She spun around and saw Jeremy a few feet from her. He had his bag over his shoulder and had his keys in his hand ready to get into his far a line away from hers.

"Hey Jeremy" she said as she slugged her bag over her shoulder to keep it from falling off. "What's up?" She asked as she blinked her keep her eyes open. She was extremely tired and wanted nothing more than to go home and nap in her bed.

"I was just wondering if you got the homework for History class?" He asked.

"Ya, do u need it?" She asked.

"Ya could you send to me?" He asked.

"Yep" she said as she started to turn around to get into her car.

"Wait!" He called after her as she ran up to her. Clove spun around and he was almost right up against her. She took a step back away from him as he looked awkwardly at the ground. "So, uh you going to prom?" he asked looking up at her.

"Ya" she said slowly knowing where this conversation was headed.

"So, do you wanna go together?"

"I'm already going with someone" she said backing up so her butt pressed against her car door. She wasn't afraid of Jeremy she just didn't want to hurt his feelings and wanted to get out of the conversation as fast as she could.

"Who?" he questioned looking upset and mad.

"My boyfriend" she said a she opened up up the car door a few inches hoping that could be her chance to get in and he would leave her alone.

"Who's that?"

"Cato" she said quickly before she jumped into her car seat and slammed the door shut. She turned around and her heart nearly fell out of her chest and she gave a small scream to the person that sat in her passenger seat.

Cato.

"What the hell?" she said one hand over her heart and the other over her forehead. "How did you get in here?"

"You left your car unlocked" he said simply.

"So you decide to break into it?"

"Hey, someone else could of broke in and hot-wired it be grateful"

"Grateful that you broke into my car" she said sticking the keys in. "That's a new one"

"So what was Jeremy talking to you about?" Cato questioned sitting back in the seat. Clove buckled herself in but didn't start the car.

"About the history homework" she said not looking at him. "And about prom"

"What did he ask?"

"If I was going with anyone" she said still not making eye contact with him.

Cato thought about it for a moment before speaking. "And what did you say?"

"That I was going with someone" she said, and before the she had the chance to take it back she added "with my boyfriend"

"I see" he said leaning back in the seat with the smirk on his face. "I'm your boyfriend again"

"It slipped out" she tried to protest.

"I'm sure it did" he said as she leaned over and she leaned so there faces were only an inch apart. "Well I'm glad to have you back as my girlfriend" and at that moment they kissed and Clove never felt so much release to have those lips on hers again.

So what did you guys think? Sorry its a bit small but my projects held me up all weekend and I only started writing Sunday night when I normally start Friday night.
