Chapter 9

The first thing that I noticed when I landed was a gentle breeze and the smell of sea water I opened my eyes and saw that I was standing on a small Island a VERY familiar one at that.

Destiny Islands.

I looked around and saw that it was the same in the game just bigger and more life-like I smiled. This place seems really peaceful.

I decided to do some exploring so I walked around the Island looking at everything in wonder who made all this stuff. I was walking up the bridge when a tree caught my eye, on top of the tree was a star shaped fruit. I smiled and pulled out my wayfinder.

"Somewhere out there, there's this tree with star shaped fruit, and the fruit represents an unbreakable connection. So long as you and your friends carry charms shaped like them nothing can ever drive you apart. You'll always find your way back to each other"

Aqua's voice rang in my head. My smile faded when I remembered the incident that happened back in Radiant Garden tears pricked my eyes. I fell on my knees sniffling "Are you really sure about that, Aqua?" I asked clutching my wayfinder to my chest.

"Are you okay?" A voice asked I swiftly turned and saw a five year old boy with spiky brown hair and blue eyes, it's Sora.

I turned away from him and nodded "Yeah I'm fine" I replied Sora frowned and came closer to me "No your not" he stated "Your crying" he placed his small hand on my cheek I smiled weakly "Yeah I guess I am" I stood up and brushed my shorts.

"I'm Sora!" He said smiling widely, holding his hand out. I smiled "Nice to meet you Sora" I said shaking his hand, I sat down on the tree branch looking out into the sea, Sora sat down crossed legged it was quite for a awhile before I asked him a question.

"What about you? Why are you here?" I asked. Sora pouted (which I found adorable) "My best friend Riku couldn't come to the Island to play with me cause he's sick!" He huffed I chuckled and ruffled his hair.

"Tough luck" I said before walking away "Hey wait!" Sora said "Can you play with me?" I froze thinking about it before I sighed "Okay" I smiled Sora's eyes lit up "Really!?" He asked bouncing a little I nodded "Yay!" He grabbed my hand and led my back down.

"So what do you wanna play?" He asked.

"Hide and seek?"

"Okay I hide and you count" Sora said before running off I shook my head in amusement before covering my eyes and began to count.

When I reached 10 I turned and Sora was no where in sight. "Come out come out wherever you are Sora" I called out playfully and started looking I looked high and low.

"What are you doing?" came an amused voice from behind I yelped and turned around to see Vanitas smirking at me with his helmet under his arm "Ha" I said dryly "I'm looking for a little boy, we were playing hide and seek, so far he's good at hiding" I said rubbing the back of my head. Vanitas' smirk grew wider.

"Playing hide and seek? Aren't you a little too old for that?" He asked smugly I flushed "Oh, Shut up" I retorted "So who's the kid?" Vanitas asked "His name's Sora" I replied then I grinned "You know he actually looks like you 'cept he's more peppy and less anti-social" he snorted "Please" he rolled his eyes I laughed before I resumed looking.

"Need any help?"

"No, thank you."

"Did you check everywhere?"

"Yes I did."

"What about that cave near the waterfall?"

"…"

"You didn't did you?"

"Jackass."

"Ooh looks like someone isn't as innocent as they seem" Vanitas grinned I playfully punched his arm.

"Oh like you aren't?"

"Touché" he replied before disappearing in a portal. I smiled before running towards the cave. I quietly walked inside and saw Sora there with his back facing me "She'll never find me in here" he said smugly.

I was right behind him before I bent down close to his ear "Oh? Really?" I asked he gave a shout and whipped around saw me there grinning "Found you" I sang.

"Aww man" he whined, I laughed and sat down next to him "You, know Sora this is a good place to hide I almost didn't see it" I commented looking at the walls which had some drawings on them, Sora grinned.

"Thanks Riku and I found it ourselves, it's our secret place" I raise an eyebrow "Secret Place?" He nodded before his grin faded "Ah! Wait your here so it's not a secret anymore!" He cried I quickly shushed him "Hey it's okay Sora, I won't tell anyone kay?" Sora nodded "Okay"

We just sat there talking for hours.

"Hey" Sora said after awhile.

"Yeah?" I asked "What part of the Main Islands are you from? I haven't seen you around." I stiffened but then sighed "I'm not from the Main Islands Sora" I said he looked at me wide-eyed "Then your from…another world!?" He asked I nodded "Yes I'm from another world."

Sora grinned "Cool! Riku and I always thought there where other worlds out there! Nobody believed us but now I have proof!" He looked at me with awe filled eyes.

"What's it like out there?" I stretched "It's really cool, you get to make new friends and explore, but it's dangerous at times too." I pulled out my wayfinder "But" I said "So long as you have friends to guide you, you'll be okay" Sora touched me cheek again "Why are you crying?" He asked I placed a finger near my eye and it felt wet.

"Well on the last world I went to I got into a fight with one of my friends when he said something bad about me, after that I just ran off and came here" I explained Sora looked, looking like he was about to cry himself before he wrapped his arms around me burying his face in his stomach. "S-Sora?" I stuttered, okay I admit I have a crush on Sora but seeing him here as a five year old is just plain adorable.

He sniffled "T-That's so sad! You can't stay mad at them for ever you need them!" He cried. I sat there stunned but Sora's right my friends need me and I need them. I patted his head before he let go and rubbed his eyes he smiled at me and I returned it I can now see why Ventus-I mean Ven chose him to carry his heart.

"Hey Sora, I wanna draw something on the wall" I said he smiled and showed me a blank wall that was a perfect spot. I picked up a rock and handed another one to Sora we both sketched each others faces.

"There!" I called happily when where finished our carved faces were facing each other with smiles on them "Looks good" Sora said I nodded "Yeah, hey Sora it's time for me to go" I announced "What!? Really?" He looked sad "Yeah, I need to find my friends and make things right c'mon." I held out my hand.

"Mmmm, you go on ahead I want to do something."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, I'm sure."

"Okay then."

I walked out the cave but I quietly hid behind the wall as I did I saw Sora draw a star shaped fruit on our portraits between our faces, connecting us. I smiled softly before I quickly but quietly left.

"I'm back!" He called out I ruffled his hair "Took you long enough" I said he had a light blush on his face I smiled I kneeled down in front of him "Well Sora, it was nice meeting you but I need to go now" I said he looked sad before nodding.

Before I stood up I quickly leaned down and placed a peck on his cheek, he turned pink again I giggled "I'll see you around kay?" I asked he nodded his head vigorously.

I walked away from him waving once I was a good distance away from him I summoned my armor and glider I jumped on and zoomed off "You can't stay mad at them forever you need them!" Sora's words repeated in my head I smiled underneath my helmet.

'Thank you Sora.'

Allison POV

We reached the encampment in a thirty minute walk, and the six of us looked around. Mushu popped out of Mulan's armor and said. "Remember Ping... Manly!" Mulan straightened up and began walking in a very awkward way. I quickly pulled her back.

"Guys don't walk like that." I whispered, sweat dropping. Her eyes widened.

"Really?" she asked. I chuckled and shook my head.

"Don't think about it, just walk." I advised. "And don't walk with one foot in front of the other, I've noticed that girls do that a lot."

"How do you know?" she asked curiously.

I smiled "I'm a girl too." I replied she chuckled before we heard a loud yelp we turned to see Sora, Donald AND Franklin in a huge brawl with two other guys Yao and Ling I think, while Goofy was trying to calm them down. We both sweat dropped.

"Aw great" I groaned before rushing over to the fight, Mulan followed. She looked at the brawlers in distress.

"Please!"

"Knock it off!" They all halted and looked at us.

"Please?" Ling repeated incredulously.

"What a girl..." Yao muttered before he did a double take "Hold it! What's a girl doing here?" He demeaned pointing at me my eye twitched.

"Excuse me?" I asked walking on front of him "What's wrong with me being here?" Yao jabbed his finger in his chest "This place is for men only! Girls don't belong here they belong back home and in the kitchen"

Franklin POV

I gaped at him 'Shit' I thought 'He's a dead man!' I quickly backed away.

"Oh really?" Allison asked narrowing her eyes.

"Yes really, what are ya going to do about it girlie?" Yao mocked. I repeat he is a dead man.

POW!

Allison punched him causing him to fall, he glared at her "You'll pay for that, girlie!" He snarled charging forward she smirked before it faded and she ducked, causing Ling to jump onto Yao. The two began beating each other up, not realizing they were fighting each other.

She turned to us smiling innocently "Nice one!" I praised. She blushed from the praise and looked away shyly I leaned to the others who were gaping in shock "See?" I whispered "That isn't even the worst she can do."

"Note to self never get on her bad side" Sora said "Yeah" They others agreed.

Allison POV

"Soldier! Get back in line!" A man's voice demanded. Said man, Shang strode up to us he had black armor and a red cape.

"The Captain!" Ling exclaimed as they all filed back into line. Shang looked at them suspiciously before walking away. I glared Yao before gasping as several Shadows suddenly appeared.

"What are they?" Mulan asked nervously.

"Heartless!" Sora replied as we summoned our Keyblades. Mulan, Donald and Goofy whipped out their respective weapons.

"Alright, Ping." I called. "You ready for this?" She nodded and they attacked the Heartless. After a short fight, in which Mulan struggled slightly, Captain Shang approached them.

"You five," he called to us. "What are your names?"

"Sora!"

"Allison!"

"Franklin!"

"Donald!"

"Goofy, too!" Shang nodded.

"You're welcome in my troop." he told us. "Your battle skills are encouraging. Even yours" He said referring to me, he looked impressed at my skills I smiled.

"I am the son of Fa Zhou-" Mulan began before Shang cut her off.

"You should return home." he said bluntly. Mulan flinched.

"But...That would dishonor my family!" she exclaimed.

Shang glared at her. "You'd rather dishonor my troops?" Mulan seemed to be getting angry. Before she could say anything she would regret, Sora saved her.

"If Ping trains hard and does his best, he'll get stronger in no time." he said.

"Hmm.".

"Just give Ping a chance, sir!" Franklin exclaimed. "Give us an assignment!"

Sora nodded. "We'll show you how well we can work together."

"So...you want to be tested?" Shang asked. He closed his eyes for a few seconds before looking at us. "Our orders are to ambush Shan-Yu's army on their way here. They should be coming through the mountain pass."

"We'll smash them!" Donald said, stomping his foot for good measure.

Shang smirked. "I doubt that, you'll be the advance party." he told them. "Scout out the mountains for my troops."

Sora leaned back. "That's it? No problem!" he looked at Mulan, who was looking slightly nervous. "Right?"

She looked down. "R-right!"

"Well then, let's go!" I cheered.

"I don't think so," the Captain interrupted, making them us fall over. "You leave first thing tomorrow. Do as you wish until then." He walked off then.

"Well, what now?" Sora asked.

"Well we should prepare for our mission." Mulan said. "We can practice fighting?"

"Sounds good," Sora agreed. "just wait 'til the Captain sees how much you've improved."

"I think I'll skip out guys." I said yawning. "I'm still a bit tired from Hollow Bastion, and that battle definitely didn't help."

"You're right." Sora nodded. "You get some rest while we help Ping here!"

"Alright, I'll see you in the morning." I waved them good-bye. I sighed and attempted to find Shang to ask if there were any spare tents.

Me: That's it for now! On the next flashback Allison meets Zack, Hercules, Phil and makes up with Ven!

Allison: You made me kiss Sora!?

Me: Yeah but chill he was only five and he eventually forgot remember

Allison: Oh yeah
