Hey guys hope you are holding up this week. Super excited for summer to start not only because I'll be done with school and get to party all the time but because I'm going to Puta Cana at the beginning of June! This is my first time going far away and to a resort as the farthest I have gone is Florida. I hope you guys are having a good week and are ready for summer to start! Anyways enjoy the chapter.

"Are you okay?" he asked as he took her hand and they started to walk out.

"Not really" she said.

Clove had been waiting for this day to come for the last two weeks. She had seen it happen all four years of high school and now it was finally happening to her. She couldn't be more excited about the entire thing itself. Today was the day of prom.

Clove had spent the entire morning getting ready. She got to sleep in a little longer as she didn't go to school and when she got up she made herself some amazing waffles with fruit. After she showered and threw on some shorts and a tank top she headed to the nail salon to have her nails done. Because Clove's dress was a soft pink she decided to have her nails done in french manicure. The salon ladies filed her nails down until there was nothing left until they based it and applied glue to her nails. And one by one they attached fake nails to her fingers and clipped them at the right length that Clove wanted.

Long but not to long enough that she couldn't do anything. After they painted the nails as a french manicure and she sat in the chair for an hour waiting for them to dry. Once they were done she paid and left and couldn't help but admire them as she made her way to the car. Once she was in she set off to have her hair done. There was this fancy new salon that had opened downtown and a lot of people had said it was great for special occasions.

Once Clove got down there she was seated in a chair and the stylist started her hair. Finally after an hour Clove got the chance to relax. She started texting the girls finding out how they were doing so far. Kat had her hair done and makeup and was off to have her nails done. Jackie had just her hair and was off to get her nails done at the same place Clove had. And Glimmer had all three done and was at home just relaxing until it was time to get ready.

As Clove sat in the chair she thought about how tonight was going to go. She had the perfect dress alongside some amazing sliver heels that finally made her look average height.. Cato had rented a limo and all her friends were going with her. Plus he had booked a hotel room for them to stay the night. Clove wasn't nervous about it seeing as she had already had sex with him before but things were still different.

Ever since they 'fixed' things there relationship hadn't been the same. They weren't all goofy and silly together and liked to provoke each other to see the reactions they would get. It was more like walking on eggshells to prevent each other from getting mad or upset. He was being careful as he didn't want Clove to think anything was happening with Kate and Clove was walking around trying not to question Cato with what happened with Kate.

Clove didn't want those thoughts bugging her the rest of the night. She tried to relax and set her mind at ease at the hairdresser played away with her hair curling it and pinning up away from her face. Clove must of doze off though it because the next thing she knew there was a small tap on her shoulder. Clove sprung her eyes open and jumped a little in her seat. Behind her stood the hair stylist with a big smile on her face.

"Well" she said gesturing to Clove's hair. "What do you think?"

Clove took a little gasp of air. Her black long hair had been curled and pinned back away from her face. It framed the edges of her checks as the rest fell in small curly waves until it reached her mid back. Her hair looked beautiful and it made her eyes stand out even more by letting the black frame her face.

"Its amazing" Clove said as she touched the curls letting it run though her finger tips. "I love it"

"I'm glad" The blonde hairdresser said with a big smile. "I'll see you at the front to pay"

Once Clove paid and left all she had to do was her makeup and she would be ready. Clove checked the time on her phone as she slid into her car and it read 12:35 pm. Her makeup apportionment wasn't until 1:15 so Clove stopped at a drive through to grab some lunch before heading over to have her makeup done.

Clove wanted nothing some than some simple eye shadow, along with daring eyeliner and long eyelashes. So she was quiet happy when the makeup artist turned her around in her chair to have a look at herself in the mirror. She had followed her directions exactly and given her what she had wanted and even more along with some sparkly eye shadow on the edge on her eye, some baby pink lipstick and blush to make her check bones seem higher on her face.

As Clove looked herself over in the mirror she was very happy with what she saw. With her nails, hair and makeup everything looked perfect now all she needed was her dress.

Clove sat at home listening to her mom go on and on to her grandmother about how gorgeous she looked over the phone.

"Ma, I think she gets it" Clove said rolling her eyes as she sat on the couch going through her phone.

"But oh my goodness you should see her makeup she looks like a Victoria's secret angel" her mom said still gushing into the phone.

"Ya if only I had the body" Clove mumbled to herself giving herself a little giggle.

Her mom went on anyways gabbing to her grandmother as Clove sighed and rolled over onto her stomach on the couch. Just as she was about to take a short nap she felt her phone beep with a text. It was from Cato.

You all ready for tonight? Have your bag packed?

Yep she replied hoping that would be the end so she could sleep. Only seconds later her phone buzzed again.

You done getting ready?

Yep just waiting till I can put my dress on and the limo comes and picks us up

Perfect! I'll see you at six, I can't wait to see how beautiful you look

After that text Clove didn't bother replying as she started to doze off. The next thing she heard and felt was her mother shaking her by the shoulders.

"Clove get up its five the girls will be here any minute for pictures and if you sleep any longer you will ruin your makeup!" she yelled just as Clove opened her eyes to see her mother running down the hall and then up the stairs to grab Clove's dress and shoes out of her room. Clove groaned and rolled over onto her stomach and sat up.

She barley had time to even yawn before her mom came stomping down the stairs like a elephant and came flying down the hall her dress in a garment bag in one hand and her sparkly silver shoes in the other.

It took Clove no more than five minutes to get into her dress and zip it up and slip on her shoes. As she stepped out of the bathroom she thought her mom was going to have a heart attack and drop to the floor by the look on her face.

"Oh my goodness" she squealed. "You look so beautiful, that dress looks amazing on you"

"Thanks mom" she said blushing. Just at that moment the doorbell rang and her mom jumped a little.

"I'll get it" she said running to the door. Clove just laughed as she made a little twirl with the dress letting it flow around her legs.

"There here" her mom called as she came running back along with Kat, Glimmer and Jackie.

Each of the girls had there hair and makeup done and had on there dresses that they had bought two weeks ago.

"OMG Clove you look amazing" Glimmer said going over to hug her.

"You took, your hair is so pretty"

"Thanks" she said flipping a blonde curl over her shoulder. "We should take some pictures before the guys get here" she suggested.

The girls lined up in the backyard and with her mom's camera they took dozens of photos. Soon after the guys arrived with the limo out front and came in to take photos with there girlfriends. Cato wore a traditional back tux with a white shirt underneath. Clove thought that her dress and his tux looked perfect together and it showed in the pictures.

After they all got into the limo and headed off towards the prom. Cato had his arm around Clove the entire drive and she snuggled into him. It took only a few minutes for the limo to pull up in front of the school alongside three other limos from other students.

"You ready?" Cato asked as they started to head out of the car.

"Ready" she said smiling.

I made this chapter as my school's prom is on Friday! I hope you all enjoyed and parts 2 and 3 are coming int he next two weeks.
