(Your POV)
Liu stared back at me, his piercing green eyes bore into my (e/c) ones. "You want to fight me?" I asked.
Liu nodded and made his way over to me. I held my breath as he came close, the smell of wood and pine wafting after him, and exhaled sharply as he laid his hand on the door knob behind me.
"Meet me outside when you're ready." Liu said without turning back to face me.
I ran upstairs and into the room Jeff and I shared. I opened the closet and put on one of Jeff's old jackets. It was red with white sleeves and had the logo from Jeff's old school. I inhaled deeply through my nose, inhaling the sweet scent of Jeff that emanated from all over the jacket.
I made my way downstairs and went out the front door. Once outside, I saw Liu wandering all over the vast land that the Creepy Pastas dare call "front yard." I found myself involuntarily smiling at how similar Liu and Jeff were. Not in only in the way they act towards me, but in the way they walk as well. They have the same sharp yet graceful way of walking, like they know where they are going.
Liu caught me staring and smiled mischievously up at me, making me blush out of embarrassment. "You ready?" He asked making his way over to me.
"Wait," I said raising my hands up defensively, "before we...fight. I want to know something. Why do you want to fight me?" I asked, lowering my hands.
Liu blinked, then shrugged, "I don't know. A little bird told me that you had powers and I just want to know how strong you really are."
I was taken aback by this, "oh. Well note to self: find and kill that little bird." I said with a nervous smile, causing Liu to laugh.
If this was the reason Liu wanted to fight. Then I really didn't want to do it. Last time I used my powers, I dug a stone into Jeff's side and seriously hurt him. I don't want that to happen to Liu as well.
"I know, you're afraid of hurting me. But don't worry I'll be fine. Come on, follow me." Liu said reading my mind.
I nodded curtly and followed him out into the middle of the field, the dead grass, now brown instead of green, crunching under our feet. Before me, Liu went into a fighting stance and I went into mine.
"Okay. You attack first." Liu said.
I lunged myself at him and swung, aiming for his stomach. I missed and nearly came tumbling to the ground, skidding to a halt. I growled in frustration and lunged myself at Liu again. His swift and graceful movements were no match for my clumsy and rash ones.
"Come on, (y/n)," he complained, "this won't be any fun if you don't use your powers."
I wheezed and coughed as I fell onto my knees, already breathless. Then, I wiped my forehead and muttered, "fine. You want to see powers? I'll show you powers." I hissed.
Suddenly, I felt a surge of power erupt from my chest and the world around me went white.
(Liu's POV)
I gasped as (y/n)'s body levitated off the ground. Her normally (e/c) eyes went white all over.
"Fight me now then." She said.
Her voice sounded like she was drowning between more voices. Like there were more people inside of her than just (y/n). I nodded and lunged myself at her. She quickly shifted her positions, causing me to come falling to the ground. My cheek scratched against the dead grass and hard ground. I groaned in pain and, much to my dismay, looked up.
I gasped. All around (y/n), the elements and a strange purple wisp swirled around her like a vicious cyclone. She sent fire in my direction, then ice in the form of sharp shards. I luckily evaded all of them. One of the shards came too close to me and nicked my ear. I began to run from (y/n) for fear that I would die.
But before I could get too far, I felt a searing, blinding white pain in my stomach. I forced my legs to a halt and glanced down at my stomach. An ice shard had made its way into my back and about an inch out of my stomach. I laughed nervously as I collapsed onto my knees. As I fell onto my side, I felt all of the shard inside me and groaned in pain.
Behind me, I heard (y/n) scream for me. But her voice sounded distant, almost drowned out. But before I could say something back, my vision around my eyes went black and I began to see swirls of different colored blots.
Then, everything went black.
(Your POV)
My other form escaped me as soon as one of the ice shards dug into Liu's stomach. I screamed his name, but to no avail, he lay there, limp and lifeless on the ground. I ran over to Liu and picked him up. His emerald-green eyes stared up into the sky, lifeless and hallow.
I picked him up, surprised at how light he was, and carried him back to the house. I laid him gently on my bed and removed his shirt. It was bad. The shard managed to make it about one inch out of his stomach. There was blood everywhere and the wound was really bad.
He groaned in pain and clenched his eyes shut.
"Liu?" I asked hopefully, "Liu are you okay?"
"Just get it out." Liu hissed through gritted teeth.
I nodded and got a good grip on the shard, "but, won't it hurt?" I asked.
He nodded, "of course it will. But. Get. It. OUT." He said, pausing between each word.
I started to pull it out but stopped when he started screaming. Liu shook his head no and gestured for me to continue. I bit my lip nervously, drawing blood. I pulled it out a little to sharply and Liu gasped.
He started to pant heavily as a thing layer of sweat started on his forehead. He gave me a weak smile. I smiled back, suddenly noticing that he was shirtless. I glanced away and handed him a towel that I had grabbed before we came into the room. I went into the bathroom and soaked it wet.
Handing him the towel without looking, I said, "come downstairs when you're done dressing the wound."
He nodded and took the towel from my hand.
~a few hours later~
"I'm done." Liu said, surprising me.
"I am so sorry." I said standing and wrapping my arms around him.
I felt him smile into my hair and backed away from him.
"It's okay. I'm brave anyway. It was just a mere flesh wound." Liu said flashing me that bright white smile of his.
"What can I do to repay you?" I asked, surprised at myself.
"I don't know..." Liu said sitting on the couch, patting the space next to him, "...kiss–"
"NO."
"Oh come on." Liu whined.
"No."
"Please~"
"No."
"Jeff doesn't have to know. You don't have to be his obedient little girl."
"This isn't about obedience. It's about respect for each other." I said crossing my arms defiantly across my chest.
"Fine whatevs." Liu said switching on the television.
(Jeff's POV)
As I made my way through the forest in search of logs for the fire, I caught a glimpse of a girl, maybe the same age as me, wandering through the forest. She was holding her arm close to her chest as tears flowed down her cheeks. I made my way over to her, slowly but surely.
"Hey!" I shouted when I wasn't too far, she glanced up and her eyes widened, "are you okay?" I asked.
She began to back away, but didn't get very far. She tripped on a fallen branch and fell backwards onto her butt. I couldn't help but smile until I saw blood on her forearm. She sat there, her eyes wide. I flinched at how much she resembled (y/n). She had big brown eyes and long, almost white, straight, blond hair.
"Look at me. I'm here to help." I said squatting down next to her.
"Okay.." she breathed, letting me see her arm.
I grimaced at the damage and said, "come on, let's head back to my leader. He'll be able to help you."
OMG. What do you think? Will Jeff fall for this mysterious new comer? Or will she fall hard for him? Will Jeff cheat on you? Will you cheat on Jeff? Much suspense, I know sorry.
Well, I will continue this when I have 261 (I got it right this time!) comments. Go forth and conquer! :)
