Cedric sighed as he walked down the hallway towards the Slytherin common room. For some reason he couldn't recall at this moment in time, he had promised Hermione that he would talk to the blonde boy and make it clear that if he hurt Ginny in any way, shape, or form, he would be in for a world of hurt. Draco Malfoy was just lucky it was the former Hufflepuff giving him this warning instead of one of the Weasley boys. The former Hufflepuff was sure that Draco could handle himself against Ron Weasley, but Fred and George were a different story entirely. Slytherins were devious yes, but the twin redheads could be downright twisted at times. If they wanted to do so, they could probably even terrify the likes of the darkest wizards around and that included Voldermort.

As it turns out, Cedric didn't have to go all the way down to the dungeons in order to find the only son of Lucius Malfoy; Draco had been heading towards the great hall, most likely looking for Crabbe and Goyle, who could almost always be found stuffing their faces when they did not have class. At first he didn't notice Cedric following him, or if he did, he didn't act as if he knew it at first. It took about three minutes for Draco to stop walking completely as he turned around to face the other boy.

"Why are you following me Diggory?" He snapped with a scowl set firmly on his lips. "What have I done to offend you now? I haven't done anything to the mud- to your little know it all girlfriend nor have I done anything to her precious Harry Potter. I have better things to do so either spit it out or let me pass."

Cedric crossed his arms as he smirked slightly. It wasn't often he got to play big brother and he was actually enjoying it. "I came here to warn you. Now I may not be a Weasley, but Ginny is Hermiones friend and therefore that makes Ginny my friend as well and I don't want to see her hurt or someone to play with her emotions as if it were some sort of game."

The normally pale boy turned ever whiter if that were at all possible though he tried to look intimidating for the sake of his reputation. "I have no idea what you are talking about Diggory."

"Bullocks Malfoy, you know exactly what I'm talking about so don't stand there and play dumb." He replied quicky with a hint of annoyance in his words before he relaxed a bit. If he wanted to get through to Draco then the best way to do that wouldn't be by trying to scare the other boy. "Look, I could care less about who you date or what you do in your spare time, but Ginny means a lot to Hermione and as you know, Hermione means a lot to me so if you hurt Ginny, Hermione will be hurt, and if my Mione is hurt then I'm going to get angry and you do not want to see me when I get angry. Now I am not going to tell you to stay away from Ginny because it's not my place, but I will tell you that if you do anything, anything at all to hurt her, then I am going to tell her brothers and not just the ones who attend Hogwarts. Do you get the point or do I need to repeat what I just said?"

"Bloody hell, I haven't hurt her yet have I?" Draco snapped before lowering his voice after looking around to make sure nobody else was listening in on the conversation. "I'm not sure how you found out about Ginny and I and I'm pretty sure I don't care to know. The fact of the matter is I am dating her and we would rather not everyone find out about it until we are ready. Do you have any idea what my father would do to her if he found out? If I wanted to hurt Ginny then all I would have to do is tell my father, but I do not want to hurt her because I, I care about her and while I think you should mind your own bloody business, I do understand where you're coming from. Tell Granger she has nothing to worry about when it comes to Ginny and me. Now are we finished here or do you have more threats that need to be issued?"

"You can go for now." Cedric told him with a slight smile. "Personally I have nothing against you dating Ginny Weasley as long as you truly care for her. I wasn't exactly the first choice of boyfriends for Hermione when it came to her friends point of view. Ron still hates me and I can't say I am his biggest fan."

"Then it seems we have something in common Diggory." The blond said with a smirk before reaching in to his robe pocket and pulling out a slightly rumpled note. "Since you now know the big secret, do you think you could make sure this gets to Gin?"

"Sure, I can do that." He replied taking the note before turning to head towards the Great Hall as well. "Remember, if you break her heart then you will have to face me and I am much scarier than any of the Weasley boys. Oh, on a side note, even though you haven't tormented Hermione lately, if you do so ever again, you will also have to answer to me and when it comes to the love of my life, well let's just say that 'He who most not be named' would fear me so there is your incentive to keep playing nice."
