Chapter 5.5: A day in hell (Pt. 2)

"You want what?" Feliciano looked at the other four demons startled
"Come on Feli, it's also a chance for you to see your brother" Gilbert pressed on "Pleaseeee~"
"But I don't have that kind of authorization, I am merely an angel" Feliciano looked down flustered
"Aww come on Feli, like a friend told me when I was alive 'No te tires al piso para que te levanten (1)', you are also a teacher" After seeing Feli's expression he quickly added "A good one"
"But… the Devil…he wouldn't allow it, it would be seen as a way to escape" Feliciano fidgeted and looked at them sadly "I can't"
Gilbert sighed 'If he won't come by words, then he'll have to come by force' "I am sorry Feli" he moved quickly and hit Feli on the stomach making him faint
"That was… harsh" Emma said behind Gilbert "Couldn't we have done it another way?"
"Besides he is right, it may be seen as treason" Mathias said thoughtfully
"Well, we'll take the blame if it comes to that" Alfred smiled and carried a knocked out Feliciano
"…Well since that is solved, let's get going" Gilbert smirked and began walking
"Do you know where to go?" Emma said casually and Gilbert visibly tensed
"Kesesese, of course…" He turned and looked at Emma's accusing glare "Fine, I don't"
Emma giggled and made a 'this way' motion "You would if you had actually said goodbye to Camille and Michelle"
After 15 minutes of going through numerous repeating corridors they got into a huge elevator-like object
"Well this is it…" Emma said walking in front of the doors inspecting it "It looks like it needs to scan something"
Alfred looked closely at the scanner "Maybe an eye, little help" he crouched since he was carrying Feli in a piggyback ride, Gilbert stood beside him and opened Feli's eyelid and a flashing light blinded both of them "Dammit that hurt"
"ACCESS DENIED" a robotical voice said out of nowhere
"Agh, come on! He is a teacher" Gilbert said loudly and kicked the scanner while Emma helped Alfred to recover his balance along with Feliciano
"ACCESS DENIED… NO DAMAGING THE EQUIPMENT"
"Shut up" Gilbert looked at the scanner and then at the doors "Hey Mathias" he said slyly and turned towards him
"Yes?" Mathias looked at him worriedly
"Do you still carry around that axe?" Gilbert said casually with a crazy glint on his eyes
"I see what you're trying to do" Mathias summoned his axe and got in position in front of the door "I don't think it's going to work"
He swung the axe with all his might but it merely left a dent "See they must be guarded"
Gilbert seemed to think for a moment "Place your axe in the opening of both doors"
"My axe is not a crowbar!" Mathias said indignated but did so anyway
"I know! But we don't have a crowbar and your axe is the only useful thing we have!" Gilbert took Mathias axe and began pushing
"Things I do for you" He muttered and helped Gilbert
The doors opened slightly and they placed the axe's head in a way to get the door opened at its full length which wasn't much since the axe's head wasn't that big
"Now we squeeze through" Gilbert said confidently as he crawled inside, Alfred passed Feliciano's body through the gap and Gilbert pulled from the other side, Alfred went next until only the only ones left where Mathias and Emma
"After you" Mathias said and motioned the gap
Emma blushed "Are you mad" she said angrily and pulled his cheeks "Get inside first"
"I am trying to be a gentleman!" Mathias exclaimed placing a hand on one of this cheeks
"It isn't very gentlemanly to stare at a woman's underwear" She said and motioned her dress
"Le gasp! You are a woman" Mathias said in a joking manner
Mathias was the next one to enter with a bump on his head, neither Gilbert nor Alfred questioned for they had heard and seen the conversation, the last one was Emma and Mathias pulled away the axe before vanishing it to where it had come from
There were 3 buttons on the elevator, one was deep red, another was an earthy brown and the last one was a sky blue, Emma pressed the sky blue one and turned to her fellow friends
"I heard a rumor that we get launched into the sky and it's up to us to get to the gate by flying, if the rumors are true we should spread our wings a little" Emma stated "Since we travel different dimensions and heaven is supposed to be made out of clouds, because the supreme leader of the place wanted it to… I think is actually possible for us to be launched"
"Why would you make a place made out of clouds? Isn't it a bit unstable?" Gilbert said as he spread his wicked snowy white wings with black patterns that looked like tattoos
"I don't understand why they worship him, as if by doing so they would get a ticket to heaven, heaven and hell are the same in the end" Mathias spread his onyx black wings which looked more fit for an angel of death instead of a cheerful demon like him
"Yeah, like that guy who was really terrible on his earth life, I heard he now regrets it although he is in heaven" Alfred spread his wine red leather-like wings and readjusted Feliciano in a way he could fly but also that Feliciano was comfy
"Oh, I heard about him to… I thing he got his wings ripped off and as a constant reminder of his deeds he got each one of his sins burned on his skin also that they took an eye from him" Emma spread her amberish bat-shaped wings, unlike the others she had a two sets of them and they where specked with brown irregular shapes
"PREPARE FOR LAUNCH" The same robotic voice that had denied them the access said
Before any of them could register what was happening they where air bone, and falling, fast. They struggled to recover balance but reunited safely in a few seconds
"Imagine if we were carrying luggage" Mathias said
Somebody yawned and they all looked at Feli "Rise and shine, sunshine" Alfred said laughing
Feliciano suddenly panicked and pushed himself off of Alfred resulting in him falling towards the endless sky
"FELIIIII" They shouted
(1)- No te tires al piso para que te levanten: It's a phrase used for people that think less of themselves or their work, when in reality they can do fantastic things. Literally translated 'Don't throw yourself at the ground for me to pick you up'
