I sighed quietly in my room. I can hear a bunch of noise next to me because Cloud's packing some clothes and Kimberly is helping him. I closed my eyes but as soon as I did, Valentina's image appeared before me. I opened my eyes before sitting up. "I miss her…" I murmured under my breath. I wanted to see her but I knew she didn't want to see me. Kimberly obviously doesn't want to hear the reasoning.
Why didn't I explain to her? She just looked away and avoided my presence. Cloud told me to just wait for her to cool down a bit and then I can finally talk. No later did I feel my phone ring on my bed. I looked at the caller ID hoping it to be Val but it was Riona. I clenched my hands into fists as I didn't pick it up. Soon the ringing ended and I finally decided to pick up my phone. She left me a few texts messages for me to call her back saying she loves me and hoping I can start fresh with her again.
Groaning in frustration, I planned to throw my phone but soon another ringing came, and I looked at seeing Reno calling instead. I sighed. He probably needs help again for pulling a ridiculous stunt. I answered in annoyance. "What?" This is the first time I ever heard Reno talk in an angry voice. "Do you know what Valentina just said to me about you?!" I frowned before asking in a calm but dangerous voice. "What?"
The other line was silent but I had a feeling Reno was clutching his phone as if he wanted to break it with his bare hands. Reno took a deep breath before explaining from head to start about how he met Valentina in the park with some dude. At first he didn't suspect but found out it was Yazoo and I grew furious. He soon explained about the part where Val saying I left a void in her heart and that Yazoo can fill that void. My nails started to dig into my skin and the phone I'm holding can be crushed at any second notice.
No words can describe the fury that's raging within me. I felt betrayed but then I thought to what Valentina had to feel and what she saw. I unclenched my fist and slowly the grip on my phone loosened. The phone soon dropped and my hand fell to my side. I felt like I was just stabbed right in the heart. I held my head in my hands. "I'm sorry… I'm sorry…" I started chanting in low voice. I knew that even if I apologized, it won't help or solve anything. I just lied back down covering my face with my heads. "Dammit it all…"
~~~~~~~Vi-vi P.O.V near night time~~~~~~
Yazoo was walking me home and I felt happy but there's that one feeling you feel as if you just hurt someone. I thought of Reno because his face showed a very painful expression but it just didn't seem right. I thought of Squall and it seemed it was him but I mentally shook my head. 'He was the one that hurt me first… I shouldn't feel bad.' I thought to myself. Before I knew it, I reached the house. I turned to look at Yazoo. "Thanks for today." I said with a smile.
"No problem. After all, I did get to know you better." He said before taking my hand and kissing the back of it. "Good night and sweet dreams princess." My face turned to different shades of red from embarrassment. As he left, I can tell he had a smirk on face but I wasn't bothered by it. I unlocked the door and entered the house just to be jumped by Kristen. "Who was that hottie?" She asked in a squeal-like voice. "Yazoo." As soon as the words left my mouth, Kristen's jaw dropped.
I can tell that she's surprised but her face was priceless so I couldn't help but snicker. "Please tell me you're joking." I shook my head and took of my shoes and just left them near the door before plopping down on the couch. "What did he do?" She asked while looking straight at me. "We went around town exploring places and having fun. After that, he took me to dinner before suggesting that he walks me home. That's it." I looked back at her but her face looked like she just got splashed with water.
Shaking my head, I turned my attention away and just thought about the events today. It was enjoyable but I found it strange how he even likes me when we never actually met. I was in deep thought until I remembered where I accidently bumped into a guy with silver hair. I never really gave thought about it until now. "-entina! EARTH TO VALENTINA!" Kristen screamed and I soon snapped out of my thoughts. "What?!" I asked slightly annoyed.
"I called you 5 times! Did you not hear me?!" Shaking my head, I just looked at her with a smile sheepishly. "What is it?" She sighed. "Do you plan to go out with Yazoo?" I bit my bottom lip before nodding. "Well… So long he doesn't hurt you. I won't mind but… If he hurts you, I swear I'm gonna kick his ass and Squall's. Both actually." I giggled but at the same time, the mention of Squall's name, my chest start to hurt again. "Well… I had a long night. So I'm going to go to bed. Good night."
Before I went to my room though, I asked Kristen one last thing. "Kristen, where's Kimberly?" She was doing something since it took her a minute to answer. "Oh she's at Cloud's house! I heard she's staying over there for the night!" I laughed and so did she. "Maybe their taking it further?" We both laughed at that because Kim is pretty shy and Cloud doesn't seem like the guy to make the move but he WAS the one who asked Kimberly out first so it wouldn't surprise us. "We'll see tomorrow." Again, we both laughed until I decided to finally go in my room.
I changed into my pajamas stifling a giggle. Our minds thinking like that… If Kim heard this, she would be yelling at us by now. I lied down on my bed and my thoughts drifted off to Squall. For some reason, I feel really depressed and have the one feeling like something is bad. Scratch that, terrible is going to happen. I decided to just ignore it and sleep. 'Just sleep. Nothing will happen.' I said in my mind. Soon, I fell asleep with those thoughts and feeling far in the back of my mind.
~~~~~~~Normal P.O.V~~~~~~~
I helped Cloud finishing packing his clothes and we just decided to just cuddle up on his bed. He was just wearing a white shirt and black pants while he had one hand on my waist and the other was keeping him propped up. There was a comfortable silence that settled between us but I soon broke that. "What time do you leave?" Cloud stared at me with his blue crystal eyes. "At 7 but 6:30, I'll drive you home okay?" I gave him a small smile. "It's okay. I can walk home."
He chuckled. "So the guys can see this and hit on you? I don't think so." I couldn't help but giggle. "Tsk tsk, not like they can even hit on me. I can always beat them up if they try anything." At this he laughed. "Even so, I don't want anyone to touch you. You're mine." I poked him in the chest. "No need to be so possessive Cloud." He smirked. "Being possessive am I?" He started leaning closer.
"Yes you are being possessive and- Cloud, what are you trying to do?" I asked looking at him with a frown. "Something…" He brought me closer to him and soon our faces were just a few inches apart. "Cloud…" I whispered. He leaned in closer while closing his eyes. I soon also closed my eyes and our lips met. Every time we kiss, I always melt on the inside. It was as if he can just take my breath away with just a simple kiss. He soon pulled away and I opened my eyes. I can feel my face heating up slightly but hopefully it wasn't that noticeable.
He leaned his forehead against his mine and whispered three words that make my heart burst out of my chest. "I love you…" I smiled and held his hand with both of mine. "I love you too." He smiled and soon, we cuddled up in bed with a blanket wrapped around us both. I just couldn't sleep just yet so I pretended and soon felt gentle breathing beside me. I opened my eyes and saw Cloud sleeping peacefully. I gently moved my hand to his face and lightly touched his face. I smiled and decided to finally go to sleep. Feeling safe with Cloud in his arms.
