A week later, Beck had officially moved himself and the toddlers into his mothers' home. His mom had moved out and into his old apartment.
Beck: I'm just taking things one step at a time.
Jenny: That's good to hear, how's it going?
Beck: It's going well actually.
Jenny: Really?
Beck: Yeah, I mean there are ups and downs but I'm happy.
Jenny: I'm glad everything is working out for you Beck.
Beck: Yeah. I just gotta get them to sleep in their own beds.
Jenny: That's gonna be hard, if they've never slept separate before.
Beck: That is why I'm taking things one step at a time.
Jenny: What are you doing after you get them to sleep in their beds?
Beck: I'm getting rid of those evil pacifiers.
Beck and Jenny laughed, Tori walked over to them with her hands behind her back.
Tori: Daddy, I find something.
Beck: What did you find?
Tori: This.
Tori revealed a flower in her hand, she handed it to Beck.
Tori: I find this outside with Nana.
Beck: You want me to keep this?
Tori: (nods) Because I love you.
Tori hugged Beck's leg, he hugged her back.
Beck: Aw, Tori, I love you too.
Tori: You're oppose to say, thank you.
Beck: (chuckles) Thank you.
Tori smiled and walked away.
Jenny: She's so sweet.
Beck: She certainly didn't get it from her mother.
Jenny: Speaking of her mother, how's Jade?
Beck: I haven't talked to her since chuck e cheese.
Jenny: She hasn't called for the kids?
Beck: No.
Jenny: Wow, I thought things were getting better with her.
Beck nervously looked around making sure the tots were out of sight.
Beck: Can you keep a secret?
Jenny: Yeah, I can keep a-
Beck: I slept with Jade.
Jenny looked at Beck and laughed slightly.
Jenny: Well, of course you slept with her, how do you think you got quints?
Beck: No, I mean, last week. After chuck e cheese and everything.
Jenny was speechless, she stood looking shocked.
Beck: We woke up the next morning and she threw me out.
Jenny: What did she say?
Beck: Nothing. She pulled me out of bed and threw my clothes at me and I was out.

A month later:
Beck: Okay, no more pacifiers, are you excited?
The toddlers shook their heads frowning, they were sitting up in their beds.
Tori: I no want to.
Beck: If you don't give up your paci, the big girl fairy won't come.
Trina: And we no get treat?
Beck: Not if you don't give the fairy your paci.
Beck turned to the boys, who were sitting up in their beds listening.
Beck: And you two have to give yours to the big boy fairy.
Robbie: What kind of treat do I get?
Beck: I don't know, it's a surprise from the fairy.
Cat: I keep mine.
Beck: (sighs) Cat, you're a big girl now, right?
Cat nodded her head.
Beck: Put your pacifiers under your pillows for the fairies.
Andre: What's gonna happen?
Beck: The fairies will use their magic to turn your paci into a treat.
Beck finally got the tots to fall asleep. This is the third day they slept in their own beds since moving. They preferred sleeping together in Beck's bed, after a long month of sleeping on the couch, Beck had finally gotten the toddlers to fall asleep in their own beds. Now it was time for them to ditch the pacifiers.
The next morning:
Tori sat up in her bed stretching, she looked down to grab her pacifier.
Tori: Oh no! It's gone!
Tori stood out of bed pulling her blanket off, desperately looking for her pacifier. She remembered placing it under her pillow last night.
Tori: Under here?
Tori lifted up her pillow, and gasped.
Tori: The big girl fairy.
Tori grabbed the king sized Hershey Bar from her bed. She held it amazed. She walked over to Cat's bed who was next to her. Tori tapped Cat waking her up.
Cat: (smiles) It's time to wake up now?
Tori: Look what I got.
In Beck's room:
Beck was asleep in his bed, feeling a lot more comfortable than sleeping on the couch. The toddlers all excitedly ran in.
Andre: Daddy, daddy!
Trina: Wake up!
Beck groaned as he woke up, he turned on his side facing the smiling tots standing on the right side of his bed.
Tori: Look what we got.
Beck sat up smiling, he wiped his eyes.
Beck: Did you get a visit from the fairies?
Cat: Yes, look, I have candy.
Beck: That's so cool, do you know how you got the candy?
The tots all shook their heads no.
Beck: The fairies turned your pacifiers into candy bars.
Andre: Really?
Trina: How?
Beck: With their magic.
Robbie: Can I eat mine?
Beck would have normally had the tots wait until after breakfast but because they were doing so well without their pacifiers he decided, to let them eat their candy.
Later that morning:
The toddlers all sat in the living room watching TV as they ate their candy bars. Beck was in the kitchen eating cereal. He heard the doorbell ring he turned looking at the stove clock.
Beck: This early?
Beck stood up from the table, he walked out the kitchen to answer the door. He opened it, surprised.
Beck: Jade?
Jade shrugged and nodded her head.
Jade: Yep, that's my name.
Beck: What are you doing here?
Jade: Nice to see you too.
Beck: I didn't mean it like that, come in.
Beck stepped aside for Jade to walk in, he closed his door.
Beck: Why after so long do you decide to show up?
Jade: Where are they?
Beck: The living room.
Jade walked away remembering where the living room was, she walked in, the tots all turned to see her.
Cat: Mommy!
Robbie: Mommy?
The tots all slid down from the couch running to Jade, she bent down with opened arms hugging them. Beck walked into the living room to see the reunion.
Tori: Mommy, I miss you.
Jade: I missed you all too.
Andre: Guess what?
Jade: What?
Andre: Come see!
Trina: Come see my room.
Robbie: It's my room too.
The toddlers all ran out the living room to their bedroom. Jade looked at Beck, he nodded.
Beck: Go ahead.
Jade and Beck walked out the living room following the tots to their bedroom. The tots all sat on their own beds smiling as their parents walked into their room.
Trina: This is my bed.
Andre: This is my bed, I sleep here by myself.
Cat: See this?
Cat stood up from her bed, she walked over to a toy box opening it.
Cat: Toys. New toys.
Cart pulled out a baby doll, she hugged it in her arms.
Cat: Her pretty like you mommy.
Robbie: You can play with all my toys if you want.
Tori: You have boy toys, she's a girl.
Trina: She no like your toys.
Andre: Wanna play with me mommy?
Cat: Me too?
Beck: (chuckles) Can I talk to mommy before you play with her?
Cat: Are you gonna come back to play?
The tots and Beck stared at Jade waiting for her answer, she nodded.
Jade: Yes.
Beck: We won't be long.
Beck gestured for Jade to walk out the room, he followed behind.
Jade: I like what you did for them.
Beck: I'd do anything for them, you know that.
They walked into the kitchen sitting at a table.
Jade: You're doing a great job with them, they seem, happy.
Beck: They are, but not as happy without you.
Jade sighed looking down, Beck cleared his throat to speak again.
Beck: Are you just gonna act like nothing happened?
Jade looked up to Beck.
Jade: Can we forget it happened?
Beck: Kind of hard to forget if you asked me.
Jade: I'm not asking you, I'm telling you. Just forget it happened.
Beck: What we did, it didn't mean anything to you?
Jade: (sighs) Beck, I've had sex with at least six guys in the last week.
Beck looked away hurt.
Jade: It meant nothing to me.
Beck: Okay, I'm glad you're being honest.
Jade: Beck, there is nothing there for us anymore, okay?
Beck looked at Jade, he nodded his head.
Jade: No matter how many times we fuck, I can't feel that love anymore.
Beck: Yeah, I didn't feel it either, I guess I tried so hard to.
Jade: And that's okay Beck. Forget about me.
Beck: Why should I?
Jade: You deserve a woman with good intentions, not me.
Beck: You're encouraging me to date?
Jade: I don't care what you do, just find someone and forget me.
Beck: You can never forget your first love.
Jade: You can always move on.
Beck: But will you still be here, for them?
Jade: Of course I will. They're what are piecing us together.
Beck nodded agreeing with Jade. The two became silent.
Beck: Where have you been?
Jade: A lot has been going on, Zeek was arrested for drugs, and other stuff.
Beck: That guy, he's just bad news.
Jade: I broke up with him.
Beck: You did?
Jade: (nods) Yeah.
Beck: How'd he take it?
Jade: I spent two days in the hospital.
Beck: Jade, why did you let him hurt you so much?
Jade: He's stronger than me, it doesn't matter now because it's over.
Beck: I'm sorry to hear that, I know he meant a lot to you.
Jade: Yeah well, I'm over it.
Beck: You been eating well? You look like you've lost weight.
Jade: No kids, no check to buy food.
Beck: How have you've been eating?
Jade sighed shaking her head at Beck, he knew she was making money from stripping and prostitution.
Jade: It's a tough world Beck.
Beck: Want me to cook you something?
Jade: No, that's okay.
Beck: I'll cook you your favorite, Spanish omelet.
Jade: You still make those?
Beck: Nope. This would be my first time in four years.
Jade: Oh gosh, try not to kill me.
Beck laughed as he stood up to get supplies to cook.
Beck: What's next for you, Jade?
Jade: I don't know, I want to go back to school and get a job.
Beck: Really?
Jade: Yeah.
Beck: What about you know, stripping? Your contract?
Jade: I'll be doing that for the next two years, then what?
The toddlers came walking into the kitchen.
Jade: I can't be stuck without a job.
Tori: Mommy, it's been a long time.
Trina: You said you was coming back.
Jade: I'm sorry, I was talking to your dad.
Andre: Come on.
Andre grabbed Jade's hand to pull her up from the chair, she stood up.
Beck: I'll call you when it's ready.
Jade: Thanks.
Cat: We can play dress up or tea party.
Robbie: No, we're playing building.
Trina: That's no fun.
Andre: We no play girl games, right mommy?
Beck smiled as he watched the tots all lead Jade out the kitchen, pulling her along with them.
