Okay guys! I have taken a really really really long break. I am so sorry! I can see the stats have gone way down. Oh well, I guess that's what happens. Anyways, I was thinking about how to continue the story. I think we need more background for Caspar. I'm going to do his past now, you know, like with Jason, Reyna, etc. So ya! I actually had written up the chapter a while ago, but then it got deleted because I had reached the 50 doc limit. So now I'm back!

Quick Background: I've kinda forgotten to tell you guys this, but Jason is 2 years older than Caspar. Reyna's in between them, so Caspar's 13, she's 14, and Jason's 15. Take in mind, people's viewpoints can change a lot in a few years.

Caspar's Pov:

"Hey, Jason!" I call out to my brother, trying to get his attention away from his practically girlfriend, Reyna. It's somewhat annoying, because lately he's been paying more attention to her, than to me. Ugh, girls, I find them pretty annoying. Reyna's not so bad, actually, she's a lot more kickbutt than most of the girls here at Camp Jupiter. I look back over and see Jason still talking to Reyna, so I finally just go over to them so we can get back to my karate lessons. I walk over to them, and say,"Hey Reyna, can I take Jason for a little bit?"

"Sure, see ya later Jase!" she says, and then walks away to join a group of her friends.

"Bye!" Jason calls.

"Alright, now we can finally continue my lessons now, remember?" I ask him.

"Whaa?" he says, with a dreamy look in his eyes.

I roll my eyes, and say, "Snap out of it man!" I know you like Reyna, it's pretty obvious, but you gotta focus on other stuff right now, okay?"

He blinks a few times, and says, "Ugh, fine."

I roll my eyes again, figuring this is probably the most focus I'll get out of him. We eventually get started after he gets all of the love-craze-haze out of his head. He's pretty good, but I end up coming close to almost beating him every time we test out a new move. He's better with his sword than in hand to hand combat. The grass in the field has been totally flattened around us, because we mess around after a while of actually focusing.

I laugh as we get up off the ground after we both fell because I accidentally tripped him, and my foot got caught under his ankle, so when he fell, I followed. He laughs along with me, and he tousles my hair and says, "Good job bud. Seriously, you're really improving."

Wow, that's pretty good coming from Jason, him being one of the most athletic guys in camp. I guess I am too though. "Thanks, man. I've been practicing all these moves you've taught me. They're pretty awesome."

He laughs lightly, and says, "Anytime. It's always fun just hanging, you and me."

I smile, and I realize that ever since I arrived here, Jason's always been a great friend, and brother. It's kind of funny, because he and I didn't even know each other until I came to camp, when I was 8. Mom raised me until then, and I guess after that, Jason and I just hung out a lot, and he taught me everything I know. I figure we probably have a closer relationship than most siblings in camp. I hear a lot of them arguing, but Jason and I have never had a serious argument. There's been stupid stuff, but nothing ever lasted more than an hour of the silent treatment. I guess you could say we're pretty close.

Time zoom! Fast forward about 6 months!

Still Caspar's Pov:

My eyes blink open, and I see sunlight streaming through the blinds on our windows. I look over at Jason's bed and I have to look twice because it takes me two times to actually believe that Jason isn't in his bed. He never gets up early. Some mornings, if I didn't get him up, he probably wouldn't wake up until 11:00. But right now it's 3:00 in the morning. I look under the door of the bathroom in our cabin, but there's not light coming through the space. I'm starting to get a little worried, but I try not to get too worked up. He could be outside. I get dressed and step out of the cabin. There's no fresh footprints out here, and I can't see anything else that would show that Jason's been out here. I search around camp, calling his name, but I seriously can't find him. I'm feeling a little panicked, and I run over to Reyna's cabin, to see if Jason checked with her or something. That would be weird, because Jason always talks to me first, but I'm desperate right now. I knock softly on Reyna's door, and she answers after a minute of me impatiently waiting. She peeks through the door, and then sees it's me, and opens the door wider.

"Hey Reyna, have you seen Jason this morning?" I whisper.

She looks confused, and answers, "Noo, why would I have seen him? It's like, way early in the morning!"

"Yeah I know, but I can't find Jason. I have no idea where he went."

"Caspar, he's probably just out for a walk or something. Go back to sleep," she says kindly.

I sigh, and I chew my lip. "Fine, but if he's not back by 6, then I'll come back to you, because he probably would've checked in with me if he had gone somewhere."

"Okay Casp. See you later," she says, with a sympathetic smile on her face.

"Bye Reyna," I whisper, and quietly step back to my cabin.

I set my alarm for 5:58, and try to get back to sleep, but my attempts were unsuccessful. I rolled around for an hour, restless. I eventually got up and sat on the hammock outside on the porch. I look outside for any sign of Jason, but of course, nothing happens. My panic level has accelerated like crazy, and my heart is thumping out of my chest. I hear my alarm clock go off inside, and I go in and shut it off. I run over to Reyna's cabin, and I knock frantically on her door. She answers immediately, and I rush out, "Reyna, Jason's not back yet!" I can tell I have a panicked expression, because the second Reyna sees my face, her eyes go wide. I've probably never looked this upset before.

"Okay, try to calm down Casp," she says, but she obviously isn't very calm either. Reyna's always been really calm though. And Jason is always there for me. Everything is wrong. Where is my brother?
