Ahhh! Reyna and Caspar are so Ca-UTE! What's the ship name? I haven't found a good combo yet. I'll work on it. You guys can always help too though! Anyways, I hope that I will never take such a long break from writing again. I kind of felt deprived. So ya, now I'm getting back into the daily update schedule! Yay! Ooooooooooooooh, also, *giggles like a fangirl* Divergent comes out thursday! This thursday! I'm so excited! I got tickets to the "midnight" premiere. Ha, midnight. It's actually 8:00, but that's a good thing, cause I have school on Friday. After that though, it's spring break! YAY! Okay, anyways, I'll get to the actual story now!
Caspar's Pov:
A quest. Well, actually, "quest." It's not really a quest, but Reyna and I are going on a kind-of quest to find Jason. A note had floated down out of the sky right in front of my face. Anyways, the note says, Look for the golden one at the school of nature beyond the cliffs. If you have not found him by the last moments of the day, the stormy eyed one will.
Okay, "the golden one?" What the heck? I mean, Jason and I both have gold blonde hair, but seriously? The golden one!? Who was this written by? A teenage girl who has no idea how to write mysterious notes? (A/N: Yep, Caspar, you nailed it.) Also, I have no idea who this, "stormy-eyed one" is. Well, we'll find out I guess. I'm pretty sure the "golden one" means Jason, I mean, no one else has gone missing recently. Reyna and I are still trying to figure out who sent it. It's got neat handwriting, so probably a girl, but that still doesn't narrow it down very far.
The only cliffs around here actually aren't that far away, about 1/2 a mile. They stretch on for forever, so there's no point trying to go around it. We'll just have to climb through them. The cliffs are about a mile deep, though, so aka, if we fall, we're dead. There's a nice river at the bottom though.
Anyways, now Reyna and I are hiking over to the cliffs with our climbing gear, so our chances of ceasing to exist are lessened. Unfortunately, this is the only gear we have left, one set for each of us, because there was an incident a little bit ago where, long story short, practically all our climbing gear was demolished by a minor explosion in the fields. Caused by a few rampant unicorns. Apparently, unicorns are dangerous. Anywaaays, Reyna and I just reached the edge of the cliffs, so we set up all our gear. on the ground. A wind has started up, and when I look up, I see the clouds have turned black, and I feel a huge drop of moisture splatter on my cheek.
"Ugh, great. Just what we need right now," Reyna says, looking up at the sky with me.
"Oh well, I guess we better start now before it gets worse," I say, thinking about our time restraints.
"Yeah," she says, and reaches down to grab the gear and pull it on.
The hairs on my arm suddenly stand up, and I know what's coming before I even look up at the sky. I run into Reyna and pick her up, which is easy, me being probably 5 inches taller than she is, and she's pretty light. I run as fast as I can away from our gear, and just in time to see a bolt of lightning zap our stuff. Reyna had started to say, "What the h-", but then she just grumbles, "You have got to be kidding me. Unbelievable."
She looks up at me, and says, "Well, thanks for saving me Casp, I probably would've been disintegrated along with our stuff if not for you!"
I blush, and say, "Oh, uh, that's okay."
"No seriously, thanks. Well, we obviously have to get climbing, even if we have no gear. Gonna be just you me, and your proven amazing reflexes. If I fall, you're my life support!" She squeezes my arm, and says, "You're pretty dang strong too! As just proven, Caspy, I think you're a good guy to trust with my life!"
I blush even harder, but what's going through my mind is, Caspy? That's...new. Not necessarily a bad thing though. Reyna and Jason weren't dating, just mildly somewhat flirting. Plus, Reyna's the only girl at camp I would ever date. We're friends, and I don't really talk to many other girls. Now that I think about it, they all have boyfriends anyways.
I realize I'm still holding Reyna, and I put her down. "Alright, well, let's get climbing!"
