Chapter 70

The couple entered the small building in front of the pier that made up the cottage village called Seabreeze Cottages. A young woman sat behind the counter, looking through the guest-book. She was pretty, of course, and her hair was a dark blonde mess of dreadlocks kept at bay with a headband. She looked at the two of them when she heard them approaching.

"Welcome to the Seabreeze Cottages, what can I do for ya?"

"We'd like to check in, if that's still possible." Leifang said and put a hand on the counter.

"Oh sure, plenty of cottages free." the woman leaned forward. "Most of the ladies seem to want to stay in the Gemstone Suites. Guess they wanna know what it feels like to live like the bosses do."

"So two cottages it is." she turned around in her seat to get the keys when Hitomi butted in.

"Actually we'd like only one cottage."

This made the woman turn around with a puzzled look on her way. She looked between the two of them before realization dawned on her face. "Oh! Yeah, I understand. Sure one cottage it is. Just write your names down please."

They did as they were told and the woman returned, handing them the keys. "It's the cottage at the end. It has the best view on the ocean." she said and gave them a wink. "Enjoy your stay and if there's something you need just come by or use the phone in the cottage."

"Thanks." Hitomi said and took the keys before leaving with Leifang. "That was interesting. Think she gave us that one because we're the obvious couple and not just some friends that like to sleep over all the time?"

"Maybe a little." Leifang batted her eyelashes at Hitomi. "I don't really mind."

"Neither do I." she said as Leifang linked her arm with hers.

It didn't take long for them to get to their cottage and Hitomi unlocked the door, revealing to them the place that they would spend the next two weeks in.

Like the cottage itself the interior was made entirely of wood except a small part in the center that was made of glass, so one could look down into the water and watch the exotic fishes swim in the clear water while sitting on the nice couch that was placed directly in front it it. Near it there was a fake tree that held three lamps that would provide the cottage with light.

Further into the room there was a canopy-equipped double bed and adjacent to it was a small sitting area. Right next to the bed was a closet in which they could store their things. There were also a few small palms inside plant pots that added even more to the atmosphere.

"Wow." said Leifang as Hitomi took both their luggage and carried them over to the closet.

"I know, right?"

The Chinese looked around a little bit more and found the double-doors on the right side from her, walked over and swung them open to reveal a magnificent view of the sea. She walked out onto the terrace that was indeed very spacious. Something appeared in the corner of her eye and she walked over to the edge, leaning against it with both of her hands and tried to catch sight of what she had seen. And there it was!

In the distance she watched as a dolphin jumped out of the water in a high arc. With a smile she closed her eyes and took in a deep breath. This was perfect.

She turned on her heels and walked back into the cabin, where Hitomi was busy putting her things into the closet.

"This is exactly what I needed." Leifang said and sat down on the bed, moving a little to test its mattress. Then she kicked off her shoes, looking at Hitomi in front of her and really appreciating the view that she got of her behind.

"Not only you. Now that we're here I can just feel how much I needed a vacation too."

She watched Hitomi put her things away and then turned around, a smile on her face. "Well I'm all set in, so the only thing to do right now," she pulled one of the cottage's towels out of the closet and slung it over her shoulder before taking off her own shoes. "is take a shower. Want to join me?"

Leifang thought about it for a second, but then shook her head. "No, I have to put my things away anyway and we wouldn't want to spend the entire day in the shower, do we?"

"You say it like it's a bad thing." Hitomi chuckled and headed towards the shower. "Your loss." she called one final time before closing the door behind her.

Leifang waited a bit before getting up from the bed and going over to her own case. She opened it and started to place her own things into the closet. Whilst doing so she already debated which one of her new bikinis she would wear.

Which one do I take? She asked herself, her index-finger pointing back and forth between each of them. Finally she stopped on one and a smug smile formed on her lips. This one.

After putting away everything else she grabbed a towel as well and hid the bikini in the folds of the towel, just in time for Hitomi to walk out of the bathroom, clad in only her towel and her hair still a bit wet and flowing free as she held her hair tie in her hand. Slung over her right arm were all the other clothes that she had worn before.

"Well that was quick." Leifang said, took the towel and walked towards and then past Hitomi, only stopping to give her a quick peck on the lips and giving her a playfully alluring look. "Don't walk away."

"Don't worry I won't." Hitomi said and felt a small shiver of excitement traveling down her spine. She stood there until she heard the door shut and the shower being turned on before going over to the closet and throwing her worn clothes into her traveling case. Goodbye for the next two weeks.

Then she turned to take out the bikini that she had already picked out to wear a while ealier. "Alrighty."

She pulled off the towel and put on the blue bikini top, tying the straps behind her back. When she saw it in the store she had immediately taken a liking to it, especially the light-blue flower that was embroiled on the left breast cup. After that she put on the simple white bottom and over it she put a stylish looking white skirt, fastening it with a black belt around her waist. After checking that everything was where it was supposed to be, and that there wouldn't be any accidents, she pulled her hair back into a ponytail once more, but omitted putting on her pink hair band.

It wasn't her best bikini though. She had another one that she knew would get Leifang's attention. But that one would wait until later. A knock on the door made her turn towards it and, wondering who it could be, walked over and opened it.

The lady from the reception stood there, holding two small boxes. "Hi, I totally forgot to give you these two."

"What's in those?" Hitomi asked as she took the boxes from her.

"Just your Zack Dollars. Every guest is getting those after all." she said and earned herself an amused look from the German.

"So he's still using them. Oh well, thanks."

"No problem." the woman eyed her up and down for a moment. "Nice bikini by the way. I like the skirt."

"I just bought it recently."

The young woman gave a thumbs up. "Good choice. I'll be getting back to work then, have fun." And with that she walked away.

"Bye." Hitomi called after and closed the door, walking back to the bed and sitting down on it before opening one of the boxes and counting the Zack Dollars.

Hmm that's a pretty nice amount. More so than the last time. She wondered what she should spend it on, considering that the beverages at the bars and breakfast, lunch and dinner were free. Well there's sunscreen and maybe another swimsuit just in case...

As she thought about it she didn't hear the door of the bathroom opening, nor did she hear her girlfriend walking up behind her. Only when she cleared her throat did she notice her and turned around to see Leifang already dressed in her own bikini.

It was...very similar to her own. Only that it was a deep red with a little bit of black on the lower part of the top, and its pattern made it look like it was made of snake leather. She too was wearing a skirt that matched the top in color and pattern that was fastened with a black leather belt.

"Aww you gotta be kidding me." Hitomi had to fight the grin off her face and got off the bed, standing in front of Leifang and giving her a once over.

"I saw you the day you bought yours and, well I really liked this one. You know how much I like red."

"Well different color aside it looks a little partner look-ish." but then she noticed that the red straps of Leifang's bikini bottom were rather high on her hips meaning...

She was behind Leifang in an instant and pulled her skirt up to see that she was wearing a thong.

"Hey!" Leifang protested and pulled her skirt back down, turning around on her heels and glaring at Hitomi, whose face had split into a grin.

"Oh là là. How risqué. Is that also the reason why you decided to buy this one?"

"Hmm." the glare subsided and was replaced by a coy look as she circled her arms around Leifang's neck. "Who knows?"

Hitomi leaned forward and captured the Chinese's lower lip between her teeth. Both girls giggled as she gently nibbled on Leifang's lower lip before leaning in to kiss her.

"Ah ah ah." Leifang said, stopping her just before their lips touched. "Maybe we should postpone this until later?"

Hitomi raised her eyebrows and Leifang let go of her. With a sigh she nodded. "Alright, but," she leaned in for a quick kiss. "I'll take this for now though."

After putting on a pair of sandals each they left the cottage and decided to go to the pool together for now, since they weren't hungry and they could just get something there if need be. As they approached they could already hear the hustle and bustle of the people that were at the pool, such a stark contrast to the last time they were here. But that was actually nice in Hitomi's opinion.

The first thing that they saw were two women splashing each other with water and laughing all the while.

"So anything you're in the mood for right now?" Hitomi asked.

"Not really-Oh wait! How about we share some ice-cream?" the Chinese asked and bumped her hip against hers teasingly.

"Sounds good." Hitomi nodded and they headed towards the ice-cream vendor when all of a sudden she heard someone mutter from nearby.

"Why the hell are so many people here?" as Hitomi turned she found a familiar lavender-haired girl sitting there, wearing a violet bikini with a black flower pattern on its edges that looked very good on her and showed off the Kunoichi's flawless body. She also had her usual bandana bound around her head, so there was no mistaking who it was.

"Ayane!" Hitomi called, making the girl's head turn into her direction, and turned to Leifang. "Let's go over there for a moment."

She had already turned around and walked towards Ayane before Leifang could utter a word.

And neither could she see the darkening of her girlfriend's expression as they approached the table.

Uh oh. Well that doesn't look good does it? Trouble in paradise already.
