Angry Link
Synopsis: Link challenges Samus to a brawl and she wins! When he asks for a rematch, he ends up killing her by turning into Dark Link! Can he right the wrong and bring her back before Snake comes back from vacation?
Everyone in the smash mansion was in the cafeteria for lunch as they talked about the weekly battle and weekly visits to their worlds, well, everyone but Link was happy.
"What's wrong Link?" Zelda asked her best friend, the Hylian warrior turned his attention to her and sighed sadly.
"I just feel guilty about what I did" Link said "if only I didn't turn to Dark Link, Samus would still be alive" Zelda placed her arm on his shoulder and smiled warmly.
"I know, it's not your fault" Zelda said "besides, Snake doesn't come back until tomorrow, you'll have plenty of time to figure out on how to bring her back".
"I don't know how to" Link said before facing the audience "if you guys are wondering what I'm talking about, I can explain, it started just yesterday….."
Yesterday….
Samus Aran was busy shooting targets with her arm cannon and got each one of them on target, Link was throwing his sword like a boomerang and it came back to him after slicing a target.
"You guys are great at this" Sonic said as he, Mario and Mega Man watched from the bench "how did you guys do that stuff so fast?"
"Just practice I guess" Samus said to him.
"I have luck on my side" Link said as he threw his sword again and sliced the target.
"Luck? Practice is better" Samus said as she blasted another target.
"No, luck is better" Link said "I've luck at my side since my first game!"
"Well, I've been doing practice since my first game and I never needed a fairy by my side to do so!" Samus angrily said, Navi suddenly gasped and cried softly, Link patted her on her tiny shoulder.
"How dare you say that!" Link said "Navi is my friend and she's been there for me since the day I was born!"
"Big deal, no fairy was there for me when I needed help!" Samus said and the two began to argue, Sonic, Mega Man and Mario only backed away from them and left the room before things would get rough very deeply.
"You little!" Link said as he lunged at her and began to tackle her, the two wrestled each other until Captain Olimar walked in and stopped them.
"What are you two doing?" he asked as he rushed towards them and separated them "violence is not the answer right now!"
"Yes it is!" Link said as he swung his sword at Samus but missed when she ducked her head, Samus raised her arm blaster and Link ran as fast as he could, knowing the damage that Samus's arm cannon could do to him.
"Little son of a-" Samus grumbled the last part and left the room, Olimar only watched the her as she left and sighed sadly.
"Those two are going to get out of control if something is not done" Olimar said.
Later….
The smashers and battlers were in the mansion cafeteria as they enjoyed lunch, however, two certain smashers were watching each other with hatred.
"Link? You okay buddy?" Link turned his attention away from Samus and towards Sly Cooper.
"Yeah, I'm fine" Link said "just…A little frustrated about something".
"What's wrong?" Sly asked.
"Samus is being a real jerk today and I'm trying to find a way to get back at her" Link said "I just need time to think about what I'm going to do to her".
"Oh, well good luck with that" Sly said and he went back to eating his sandwich.
"Good luck with that? Excuse me my good sir, but are you insane?" Clank asked Sly "violence is not the answer, neither is trying to get back at someone, Link, might I suggest a apology for whatever it was you did to her?"
"Me? Apologize for what I did to her? More like what she should apologize to me for what she did to me!" Link said.
"Link, what exactly did happen?" Clank asked.
"Samus says that practice is better than luck and that she didn't have no stinkin' fairy on her quest!" Link said before turning to his fairy "no offense Navi" there was a soft sound of a sigh and Link turned back to Clank.
"Well, I see what is wrong" Clank said "you and Samus must have gotten yourselves in a rivalry and you both must fix it before it gets out of hand".
"Fix this? Fix this rivalry? Are you out of your flipping mind?" Link shouted as he got up.
"No…But-"
"Then why do you suggest that me and that coward should fix our rivalry?" Link asked, Samus heard him and got up from her chair and walked towards him with her arm cannon aimed at him.
"Take back what you just said!" she growled.
"Never!" Link shouted, Samus charged up her blaster and fired, turning Link's face gray with ashes and his hair becoming a dark gray, Link became furious and grabbed his sword from his back and aimed it at her throat.
"Alright, that's it!" Link said "time to end this! Your boyfriend won't save you this time! Because he's in Paris or something!"
"He's in Peru!" Samus angrily shouted as she began to shoot some more, Link ran around the room and the blasts of the arm cannon kept hitting random smashers and battlers, one hit Bowser that sent him flying and crashing into one of the tables, completely shattering it.
"I'm hurt now!" he shouted, Samus readied her blasted and charged it up with immense power and…
"I cannot believe this!" Master Hand shouted to Link and Samus in the charred remains of the mansion, smashers and battlers were cleaning themselves off from the ashes and collecting what was left.
"I know, I didn't even charge it up to full power!" Samus said.
"That is not what I'm talking about!" Master Hand shouted "I am talking about the collateral damage you both have caused! You both should be ashamed of yourselves!"
"Yes master hand" Link said "but may I say something".
"And what is that Link?" Master Hand asked.
"This is all Samus's fault" Link said as he pointed Samus, Samus suddenly growled and tackled Link to the ground and the two began to wrestle.
"Even!" Master Hand yelled, the two stopped instantly at the sound of his angered voice and looked up at him "if you two are willing to fight, then do it in a brawl!"
"Finally!" Link said.
The brawl room…
Somehow undestroyed, the brawl room set itself to the Hyrule castle yards and the Metroid main theme played, Link stood on one end of the stage while Samus stood on a rock.
"Get ready to…Brawl!" Master Hand's voice said on the speaker and the two began to brawl, Link swung his sword at Samus and she dodged it before delivering a kick in the face to him, Link stumbled back and regained his balance, he threw his sword at her and she ducked, only for her hair to sliced by the sword before it returned to Link, Samus roared with anger and switched onto her armor and fired her blaster at him, Link used his shield to projectile the attack and the blasts came flying towards her, only to be caught by her blaster and she kept blasting at Link, each hit weakening his shield until he became dust, Link then swung his sword at her leg but she switched to her armor and the sword barely made a dent in the armor, Link held up his sword to his face and it suddenly broke in half, Link suddenly became enraged and his eyes grew red.
"Why you little!" he shouted as his body grew dark as night, Samus took a step back from him when he suddenly flew towards her with dark red energy balls around his hands before hitting her in the face, a bright flash of red engulfed the room before dying down.
"Winner! Link!" Master Hand said on the speaker, Link stood in the room as he towered over the body of his defeated rival, Link looked down at her and smirked.
"Who's the best now?" he asked Samus, she didn't reply and stayed quiet, her face was emotionless and a small puddle of blood ran down her head "Samus?" he kneeled down and pressed his hand to her forehead, it was ice cold "oh god she's dead!"
The present….
Link worriedly sat at the lunch table as he tried to think up a plan to bring Samus back to life but nothing was coming to mind, he looked at the clock and sighed.
"Snake's coming home today" he said as he looked at ground "I am so dead".
"Don't worry, we'll think of a way" Zelda said as she smiled at him but Link only gave a look of sadness, the front door of the mansion suddenly opened and slammed shit.
"I'm home!" Snake said.
"I'm so dead" Link said, Sonic looked from his table with a plan of genius quality forming.
"That's it!" Sonic said as he snapped his fingers and quickly ran out the room, Snake entered the room and greeted everyone.
"Hey everyone, what's up?" Snake asked as he looked around to find Samus but he couldn't find her "hey, where's Samus?" Link's blood ran cold and he nervously darted his eyes side to side.
"Um…Snake?" Link asked, Snake turned his attention to Link and raised his eyebrow "there's something I need to tell you, Samus is-"
"Right here!" Sonic said as he and Samus entered the room, Link's face grew into an expression of shock as the Metroid bounty hunter entered the room.
"Snake!" Samus said as she jumped into Snake's arms and kissed him on the cheek, she suddenly saw Link and winked at him.
"But, how?" Link asked.
"These bro" Sonic said as he walked towards Link and showed him the chaos emeralds, Link smiled at the blue blur.
"Thanks Sonic" Link said.
"No problem" Sonic said, Link then faced Samus and smiled nervously but she evilly grinned at him, making him a little afraid "I am so dead".
