Not far from the fabled Donkey Kong Island, a pirate ship floated peacefully on the calm waters. However, on the inside, the mood was a much different story. A large, overweight bipedal Alligator, known as King. K Rool, sat on his throne as his crocodile minions known as the Kremlings, rushed around busily, following his every command.

"Get to it, you scaly slimeballs!" The King yelled to his minions. "That weapon to destroy the island ain't gonna build itself."

The Kremlings nodded and sped up their work.

"Sir." A Kremling bowed down before the king. "A letter had arrived for you by carrier parrot."

"A letter?" K Rool asked curiously. "Why would anyone send ME a letter?"

"I-I can assure you, I don't know, sir." The Kremling shook nervously. "But a mysterious door also appeared on the ship's deck.". King K Rool opened the letter and read through it.

"Ha!" The King croc scrunched the paper into a ball and tossed it to the floor. "Why would I want to do that?"

"S-Sir." The Kremling stuttered. "Maybe you should consider that Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong are both there. This is a golden opportunity."

"Fine, I'll go." The King said, standing up and walking to the deck. "Tell Krusha that he's in charge."

"Of course, sir." the Kremling obeyed as King K Rool stepped through the door, disappearing in a blue light.

In Bowser's castle, The Great Koopa King, Bowser was plottiNg another way to take over the Mushroom Kingdom.

"You" Bowser ordered a group of Goombas from his throne. "Get me some more Bullet Bill cannons and put them outside the castle gates."

"B-but ...your grumpiness, we dont have any ... arms." a Goomba quivered in his boots.

Bowser took a deep breath a breathed fire at the Goomba, turning him to a pile of ashes. His brethren took a look at Bowser, then the ashes, back to Bowser then at each other. One Goomba nodded and the three minions ran off.

Bowser laughed. "Weaklings..." He said.

"Lord Bowser!" Kamek cried as he and Bowser Jr rode in on Kamek'a broom. He landed the broom and both Koopa's jumped off. "A letter has arrived for you, your grouchiness." Kamek explained, handing the King two letters. "And one for the young master Junior."

Bowser and Bowser Jr read the letters.

"Can I go, dad? Can I go, dad? CanICanIcanI?" Bowser Jr begged.

"Junior, get your Magic Brush, We're leaving now." Bowser said. "I'm gonna get Mario back for taking my money from me last time. Kamek, you're in charge." "As you wish, your Nastiness." Kamek bowed down as Jr ran eagerly out of the room. Once Jr found his magic brush, the two Koopas found the door and left Immediately.

His minions formed a crowd in front of the door and were cheering for their king and prince.

"You go, boss!" a Hammer Bro shouted over the loud clapping and cheering.

"Win it for us, your chunkiness!" A Lakitu shouted.

"You too, Junior!" A ParaKoopa added.

"You Rock, guys!" Someone else shouted.

"Beat that Plumber!" A Goomba cheered.

Bowser chuckled and shook his head. "You guys..." Bowser opened the door and Junior stepped in first, Bowser followed in behind him and the door disappeared.

The F-Zero Grand Prix was almost over as the racers entered the final lap. Captain Falcon in the Blue Falcon and Black Shadow, in his Black Bull vehicle, were neck and neck with Pico, Samurai Goroh, Jody Summer and Mrs Arrow not far behind.

Black Shadow attempted to ram Falcon from the side but Falcon sped up to narrowly avoid the attack. Black Shadow then moved his vehicle behind Falcon'a and used the boost, damaging the Blue Falcon and giving Falcon no control over his vehicle.

"Haha!" Black Shadow laughed. "You look pretty pathetic now, don't ya, Falcon?" He taunted. Falcon thought quick and used a spin attack to through the Black Bull off his vehicle and used his boost to get further ahead. Black Shadow boosted again and caught up, bringing him next to Falcon. On the long homestretch, Black Shadow used his vehicle to hold the Blue Falcon up against the wall, only to receive another spin attack, his machine ending up facing backwards.

"No!" Black Shadow yelled, slamming his fist on the steering wheel, racer after racer passing him by.

"Captain Falcon wins yet another F-Zero Grand Prix, ladies and gentlemen." The female announcer shouted as racers whizzed past Black Shadow. "Jody Summer finishing in second, Dr Stewart in third, Pico in fourth." The announcer called out each name until Black Shadow's vehicle finished in last.

Arriving Home, Black Shadow found a letter addressed to him. He read the letter, then crushed it in his fist. "Falcon..."
