Chapter 14: The Volturi!
Bella,
I can't do it! I can't sit around while my sister is flying to some foreign country and staying with vampires.
I have a chest infection and a throat infection so I was unable to go to the airport with the rest of the family but I missed her so much already I had to go.
I pulled on a pair of crisp dark jeans and a grey cable sweater. Carlisle always leaves a family phone number in case we need anything. I could only think of one person to call. Edward.

10 minutes later Edward burst into the house with a panicked look on his face.
I rushed into his arms with a body wracking sob.
"IwantedtogoseeHerooffbutshegoneandIcant!" I wailed.
"Hey, calm down Bells, Hero isn't gone yet." He murmured, pulling me into his lap.
My sobs quietened and turned into horrible hiccupping sounds. "Really?" I mumbled.
"Yeah, Oliver made an unexpected appearance and we got kind of delayed so Esme and Hero will take the next flight out." He explained, rocking me gently.
My body sagged in relief.
"Do you want me to take you to the airport?"
I nodded.
"Ok, you get into the Volvo and I'll grab you some medicine and a snack." He said, kissing my forehead.
I sighed against his shoulder. "Ok. Love you Edward." I mumbled sleepily.
"Love you too Sweet girl."

I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes tiredly. I was sprawled across Emmett, my head in Edward's lap and my feet lying in Jasper's lap. Carlisle and Esme were curled up together. Alice was sitting under Jasper's arm as she watched the airport with bored eyes. Rosalie was stuck between Emmett and Edward.
"Hey sleepy head." Emmett grinned.
I took the mature route and stuck my tongue out at him while everyone else laughed.
"Are Hero and Oliver still talking?" I asked.
Rosalie nodded to the bench across the room. Oliver and Hero were sitting in one of the Costa boots with their feet and hands intertwined.
Hero's face was streaked with tears and Oliver looked like he was close to crying as well.
"Poor Sweetie." Esme muttered sadly.
"You ok?" Edward whispered.
I groaned. "I'm a little hot."
He layed his cool hand on my forehead. "Better?"
I nodded and closed my eyes as I went back to my peaceful slumber.

"Belly boo?" My sister's voice asked.
I moaned as I opened my eyes. "Whaaaaaatttttttttttttt?"
She chuckled. "I gotta go."
I leaped off the bench and threw my arms around her. "Please don't go."
"I have to babe."
"But you can't leave me." I sounded pathetic and I knew it.
"It's only for 7 months Girly, I'll be back before you know it, we'll talk everyday and I'll E-mail every weekend." She mumbled.
"I love you Hero." I muttered.
"Bella please don't, I'm gonna cry." She whimpered.
I hugged her tighter.
"Bella, I'm sorry but we have to leave." Esme said.
I hugged Hero one more time before watching her disappear into the crowd.
