A/N: It's been a while, but here is Chapter 5, hope you enjoy.
So many thoughts are going through my head. I run out of the school, not even daring to look back. I keep running as fast as I can, don't know where I am really going, just know that I have to get out. I run so fast that I trip, and fall to the ground. For I moment I just sit there, not even bothering to move. I think back to what happened. I try to clear the thoughts out of my head, but it seems as if they won't go away. I decide to get up, because sitting there wasn't going to help the situation.
I try to get something from my bag, but I forgot I left everything at the school. At least I still have my phone in my pocket. I grab it, and look to see that my mom has called several times. I know she must be worried that I haven't come home yet, and I haven't even answered her calls. I dial her number, and hold it to my ear. She picks up with a frantic voice.
"Miracle is that you! Are you okay?
I reply back, "Yes mom I'm fine."
"What on Earth happened, I've been calling you and you never answered!"
"Yes, I know... I kinda need you to pick me up."
"Honey, are you okay?"
I try to hold back the tears, and try to keep my voice normal and calm.
"I um... I- I just need you to come pick me up.'
"Okay, stay where you are, I am on my way."
I take the phone away from my ears, and hang up. Before I could stop myself, I start to cry.
It isn't long before my mom picks me up from the school. As soon as I am in the car, she is loaded with questions.
"Where is your stuff?" She gasps when she looks at my face, and my clothes.
"MIRACLE, WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?!"
I start to cry again, and my mom tries to comfort me. As soon as I am calm again, she starts the car and she wants me to explain everything. I try my best to explain everything, not leaving out a single detail.
"Why didn't you tell anybody?!"
"I tried at first but the principle wouldn't believe me. I just didn't know what to do." My mom sighs and tries to calm herself down.
"I know honey, it isn't your fault. It's just that all of this is happening too soon."
"What do you mean?"
"Your father and I knew something like this would happen. We just didn't want to believe it." I am getting confused on what she was talking about.
"Mom I'm confused, what are you talking about?"
"When you were young, a man came up to us, saying that you had these gifts that could evolve rapidly. He told us a lot of stuff about them, and his school that he has for people with your type of powers. He gave us his card, and everything. He told us that we would know when it was time."
I still didn't get what she was saying, what man, what school, and what was she talking about? My head was still trying to grasps what she was saying, but for some reason, things weren't adding up.
"Mom, I still don't understand, what are you talking about?"
"Honey, there's something that your father and I haven't told you yet."
I get more confused, I still don't know what she is talking about, but I wait anxiously to hear it.
"Your father and I have waited quite enough...and I think it's time."
For some reason I was nervous, I don't know why, because I am known for being brave and never ever afraid of anything. I mean for crying out loud my name is Miracle Blue. Even though I am sweet, innocent, smart, responsible, and talented, I am also sometimes...impulsive and stubborn. It isn't the first time an incident that involved my "gifts" happened. This time it was different, it was out of control, and I couldn't control it. It's like my "gifts" can be a blessing and a curse. We are pulling up in the driveway, and my heart feels like it is going to burst.
