Chapter 13/Season 2 – Episode 2: The Holy Sword Has Arrived!
** Somewhere Outside **
At a more decrepit part of the city where practically no one lived, Yuuto Kiba had been walking for 4 hours straight under heavy rain. Now, after seeing a priest getting killed, he is currently fighting Freed Sellzen and his new 'backup partner' Nina, who is a Jurougumo and a Stray Devil.
It was then they all saw another person named Sanosuke Kiriya, who is also a survivor of the Holy-Sword Project, and he has just managed to beat Nina with his Holy Sword powers. And now, we are about to see the conclusion of this fight.
"Just who the f*ck are you?!" asked Nina the Jurougumo, who is struggling to get back up after losing most of its front legs.
"Yeah! Who the f*ck are you?!" asked Freed in anger. "Tell me so I can curse your name in hell along with that sh*tty Devil!"
The swordsman faced his body towards the dying spider-like monster, the priest, and the Knight of Rias Gremory and answered back with only seven simple words.
"Sanosuke Kiriya. Fallen Angel. Holy-Project Survivor."
"!" both Yuuto and Freed gasped in horror.
'Fallen Angel?! A survivor like me?!' asked Yuuto in total disbelief.
"Well then Sanosuke Kiriya, when I see you in hell, you'll be wishing you didn't kill me!" Nina roared.
Sanosuke just sighed. He walked towards the dying spider-like centaur. When he was at arms length away from her, he drew his sword and sliced off her neck in a swift movement, making both Yuuto and Freed gasp. Her head rolled towards the two with blood pouring out of its neck like a fountain.
"May you seek peace in the afterlife," he whispered. He then turned to Freed and Yuuto.
"When I felt the presence of other devils, I feared for the worst and assumed you were her comrades, but…" Sanosuke turned to Freed. "It turns out that you, Freed Sellzen, picked her up at the last second as a comrade, as well as that so-called Holy Sword that not only I despise, but also killed my family, and those children back at that Project, Excalibur."
'He hates that Holy Sword, too?!' asked Yuuto to himself. It's as if these two suffered the same fate, and as fate would have it, bring these two survivors together.
"The presence of the other two Stray Devils seemed to have disappeared," said Sanosuke, before turning to Yuuto. "I suppose that you and the others from the warehouse had something to do with that. You have my gratitude. As for you, Freed…"
Sanosuke pulled out two of his swords. The first one is a black-bladed katana, which is used to channel his Fallen Angels powers into it, as he can't properly use any light-based weapon due to him being a Half-Fallen Angel. That one is called Kokusen. And the second one was a Holy Sword that made Freed's heart skip a beat.
"I-I-Is that?!" asked Freed in surprise.
"Yes. This is the Holy Sword Galantine Healing," answered Sanosuke. This is also known as 'The Holy Sword of Healing', in which it is able to heal the wounds of ANY attack.
"Well, well, well. This is interesting. A Fallen Angel who can use Holy Swords, and even more Holy Swords that even I didn't think of. But since you killed my 'partner'," said Freed with his voice filling up with battle lust. "You lead me no choice to kill you! Hahaha! I always like saying that K word. Now DIE!"
Freed charged at Sanosuke, who clearly managed to avoid every one of his attacks. "Fall! Fall! FALL! FALL!" he shouted manically.
Sanosuke transported some of his powers into the katana, and began going on the offensive. When he did, Freed was surprised that Sanosuke's sword was actually weakening Freed's bit by bit.
'What?! Excalibur is receiving major damage?! It ain't possible!' Freed gasped as he was pushed back into the alley.
The psycho priest planted his foot and quickly stepped to the side, narrowly avoiding Sanosuke's attack which caused a big hole from where Freed once was. Freed hissed as he now notices that Yuuto bolted towards him, throwing his right foot into the air and connected with the priests' chin.
"YOU F (#ING DEVIL!" Freed cursed as he charged towards the Gremory Knight. "I'm gonna kill you! I'm gonna kill you! I'm gonna kill you!"
Freed was almost there when Sanosuke came out of nowhere and slashed his stomach with his sword.
"AAHHH!" Freed screamed as he realized how badly damaged he was. His chest now has a \-shape with blood spilling out. "DAMN YOU, FALLEN ANGEL!"
Freed got up and was ready to fight again, when…
(Ring! Ring!)
"What? Now?" asked Freed as he took out his phone. He didn't like what he sees. A green mandala. After seeing that from his phone and grinding his teeth together in frustration, Freed turned to Yuuto and Sanosuke.
"Looks like we'll have to finish this another time," said Freed. "And as for you Sanosuke Kiriya, just you wait! My boss is definitely going to hear about this!"
He then pulled a grenade and tossed it towards the two men, which exploded on impact.
The grenade contained a flash of light and tear gas in which both Yuuto and Sanosuke had to close their eyes, nose, and mouths as they had trouble breathing and seeing.
By the time the light disappeared and the smoke cleared, Freed already disappeared.
Sighing to himself, Sanosuke sheathed his katana, and used Galantine Healing on Yuuto to heal his wounds. Yuuto felt better immediately.
"Now that's taken of, I must be going," said Sanosuke, turning his back at him and began walking away.
"Wait!" said Yuuto, causing Sanosuke to look at him. "Are you really a Holy-Project Survivor? Have the others survived by any miraculous chance?"
"I'm sorry; I won't be answering those types of questions. Questions like those are private," Sanosuke replied. "Now if you will excuse me." He continued walking away.
Yuuto had some new hope after seeing another survivor in front of his eyes, but now all of that was lost when Sanosuke refused to answer those questions. Feeling depressed, he decided quickly to head home.
** Next Morning; At The Dorms **
Kazuki Shikimori is currently trapped between Rias Gremory, his master, Yuna Miyama, his closest childhood friend, his familiar, Himari Noihara, and the former nun Asia Argento all sleeping close to him. However, he is currently trying not to see, because all 4 of these girls are sleeping NAKED!
He tried to use magic to quickly transport himself out of the pile, but Rias and the girls all woke up first.
"Good morning, Kazuki," sang President Rias.
"Morning, Master," said Himari.
"Good morning, Kazuki!" said Asia and Yuna.
Kazuki was holding his 'shaft' as hard as he could, and closed his eyes.
"G-G-Good Morning, everyone," said Kazuki nervously. "Why are all of you naked?!"
"Well, Buchou was sleeping naked, so we decided to sleep naked as well," said Himari. "Although, trying to get the others out of the room was a huge hassle."
And a huge hassle it was! Last night, most of the girls all wanted to sleep next to Kazuki, and even though the bed was wide enough for everyone, they all decided to play Rock-Paper-Scissors to decide who was going to sleep next to Kazuki. Rin declined immediately after hearing that they were going to sleep naked. Kazuki thought that it was a joke, but after looking at Rias' smirk, he knew it was for real.
When the game was over, the top 3 were going to sleep with him; Rias, Himari, and Yuna. Asia was whining, so they decided to let her join in too, much to the other girls' dismay.
Rias, Yuna, and Himari were hugging Kazuki as he felt the naked bodies of the 3 girls, before Asia hugged his back, surprising him. He was trying his hardest not to nosebleed, but Rias and Himari played his body around with their bare breasts pushing his body.
It was then that they heard various gasps from the door. When the 5 looked, they were surprised to see the maids Fubuki, Shizuka and Tsurara standing.
"Oh my. Did we interrupt your 'fun time'?" asked Tsurara teasingly.
"Sis! They wouldn't do such things like that! Do they?" asked Shizuka.
"I believe that it's their business, and not ours," said Fubuki, glaring at the twin sisters. "Anyways, we've come to inform you that the bath is ready for all of you."
"Thank you, Fubuki," said President Rias.
"We're going first, Master," said Himari. "And as much as we like for you to join us, I have a feeling that it'll be utter chaos at the baths, so please wait for us to finish."
"OK," said Kazuki, breathing a sigh of relief. After the girls left, it was then that Kazuki's left gauntlet began to glow, with his 10 Commandments Sword not long after.
[Hey partner! Sorry to bother you.] said Ddraig.
"Oh. Ddraig. Thyrus. Good Morning. Sorry to wake you," said Kazuki.
{Don't worry about it. Besides, all those girls are certainly after you. It'll only be a matter of time before you surrender to their sexual desires.} said Thyrus.
Kazuki could only blush hard and not say anything.
[As much as I like talking about the opposite sex, this is NOT the time, Thyrus! However, it's a good time for me to remind you about The White One, The Vanishing Dragon.]
"The Vanishing Dragon?" Kazuki asked. He remembered a few times about the name, but never got the full details.
[Yes. Now, you do remember about the sides of Fallen Angels, Angels and Devils having that big war, right?]
"Yes."
[Well, during that time, they were supported from other powers, including Fairies, Spirits, European monsters, Asian Youkai, and Humans. However, they've never received power from Ayakashi. In fact, they and the Dragons didn't side with anyone.]
"Why was that?"
[I don't know the actual reason, but Dragons and Ayakashi are beings that are made of powers and they all act freely and selfishly. Some dragons were turned into Devils, while others sided with God, but the majority of them, including Thyrus here, all didn't care about the War and lived freely.]
'Wow. I didn't know that you were all that troublesome,' Kazuki thought.
{Well, if you thought that we're troublesome, here's a big shocker for you. Ayakashi once resided with humans, until the Demon Slayers stepped up and did their duty. From there, the Ayakashi have bear a deep hatred towards the Demon Slayers, as some of them were sealed by some of the Gods in ancient times and many parts of them were spread out throughout our home in the Underworld and the Dimensional Gap. In fact, there are 3 particular Ayakashi who are committed to being entirely evil and destroy all dragons, and the entire world, AND the Underworld in a nutshell.}
"Who are they?"
{They are known as the Three Evil Demons, in which consists of Shuten-Douji, Tamano-no-Mae, and Emperor Sutoku.}
[Which leads me to this point. During that Great War between the three factions, there were two particular dragons that got involved into a very senseless fight. And those two were in the highest class of dragons and they each had a power that rivalled God and the Great Satan himself. They started to fight each other while those Three Evil Demons broke free by someone or something and attacked the 3 factions. For the three factions, they thought that the two dragons attacked them, igniting a serious war to take control of this World, and the two dragons were disturbing the battlefield without any care.]
"Then why were you two fighting this much?!" asked Kazuki.
{Smart boy. He knew that it was you and Albion, Ddraig. Anyways, both of these 2 Dragons couldn't find the main reason why they started this fight in the first place, but that certainly gave the Three Evil Demons a nasty idea. The Demons convinced the three Factions to join as one and try to destroy these two.}
'That is awful!' said Kazuki.
[Yeah, and we two dragons that got our fight interrupted became mad. [Don't get in the way of our fight!], [A mere God and Great Satan shouldn't be interrupting a duel between dragons!] - we responded like idiots. We went head on and tried to eat God, Great Satan, and the leaders of the fallen-angels. Well, that was a mistake on our part, and the Three Evil Demons' plan worked.]
{And that's when I came in. Once the Three Factions saw me, they all immediately retreated, and I blasted those two dragons real good, but it was those Three Evil Demons that gave all of us the final blow. The two dragons and I got cut into pieces and their spirits were sealed within human bodies as Sacred Gears. As for me, I'm an immortal, and my Holy Spirit of neutrality still resides within me. The two dragons that were sealed within humans used them as vessels, they encountered each other and fought each other countless times. Every time one of them won and one of them died. Sometimes one of them was already dead before the other one came and so they didn't fight, but most of the times they did. If the vessel, human, dies then the dragons stop functioning for a certain time. Their spirits float around in this world until the humans with dragon powers are born. That cycle has repeated countless times for many long years.}
[However, since you are our current hosts, and come from a family of the most powerful Wizards from the West and the East, that makes you our most unusual hosts. Either way, you are a being that is possessed by a Dragon. In whatever age and country, Dragons represent power. You know how, even though they come in many different forms and shapes, there are pictures and carvings of dragons in many different countries? Throughout the ages humans admired dragons, respected dragons, and feared dragons. Unwittingly, dragons fascinate those around them. Or those with power gather around the dragons. If there are people who come to you with admiration or to challenge you, then it's most likely the power of the dragon.]
"…It sounds like an inconvenient power. Which means I'm going to have to fight a lot of enemies in the future?"
{Oh, you bet! And yours is especially strong in more ways than one. In fact, it's probably THE strongest in history! Even though you have almost-omnipotent powers of magic within, you are certainly not at that stage yet, not by a long shot, but it'll happen soon though. As your wish is to become the most powerful magician in the world, you have a very respectable ultimate goal ahead of you. Many of the others' previous hosts are either too scared or proud to use our power, even to have a decent life. You, on the other hand, have a good balance by being responsible with it, and not that dumb of using our powers too much and instead, using your own powers.}
"Yeah, that's true," said Kazuki, feeling a little better about himself.
[In fact, you're just as straightforward as we Dragons are. In fact, this is certainly going to be very interesting in the future. We should hope not to get killed by the Vanishing Dragon.]
"Is the 'Vanishing Dragon' THAT strong?" Kazuki asked.
{Oh yeah, I've seen his powers a few times, but he's certainly not as strong as me! I'm the Holy Dragon, one of the Dragons of Dawn Prince Island, a Dragon that is 4 times more powerful than both these Heavenly Dragons combined!}
[As much as I hate to say this, he's right.]
{And I'm immortal to prove it! To begin with, we had powers that could even dominate God and the Great Satan. It's just that the Three Evil Demons put a curse on us when we got turned into Sacred Gears. We are in a tight situation to release our full powers, and it's possible to have our powers get stolen completely by them! However, if you get used to it, high-class devils and high ranked angels and fallen angels don't stand a chance against us!}
[However, with the possibility of the Three Evil Demons released from their seals, it's only a matter of time before they all do the unthinkable: Destroy the Ayakashi that's residing with humans, Take out ALL of the Sacred Gears and Longinuses, Kill the Demon Slayers, Wipe out the Three Factions completely, and then Total World & Underworld Domination!]
Kazuki gasped in horror.
"W-Well, I won't let them do as they please. Because I've got some allies that can take them down in an instant and I have my powers as well. As long as we live, we'll take on any challenge that stands in our way! And most of all, I'll fulfill my promise to my friends that I will become the strongest magician in the world!" Kazuki stated.
Both Ddraig and Thyrus looked at each other, and then they laughed.
[Hahaha! It's my first time to having a fantastic host like you!]
{Hahaha! That's right, and we're going to work together to fulfill that promise!}
"Yes!" replied Kazuki in triumph, and like this, Kazuki, the Red Emperor of Dragons and the Holy Dragon made a promise for their new objectives, and that's where Liera Scharnhorst, the captain of the Maid Team, came in.
"Good morning, Master!" said Liera in excitement. "Your bath is ready!"
"Thank you, Liera," said Kazuki, not noticing Liera blushing.
** At Kuoh Academy **
As the students began to enter the building, Sona Shitori and Tsubaki Shinra, the Student Council President and Vice-President respectively, were walking towards the school building as well.
"So, with Serena Asmoday and my other long-lost best friend, Rheena Seere coming to this academy, that means that there will be challenges awaiting for all of us in the future," said Sona.
"Yeah. I wonder what their peerages look like," said Tsubaki.
"We'll find out about that later. Right now, though, I'm thinking about defeating Rias after that last dodgeball match," said Sona.
"Are you actually going to ask her for a rematch?" the Queen of Sitri asked.
"By the urgent demand of my servants, yes. However," Sona said, adjusting her glasses. "I want to see how much Kazuki has improved in his training. He gathered a lot of new allies along the way, including 2 genies, in which I've heard. All of those should give me some valuable information on how to defeat him and his new allies in the Rating Game when we face Rias."
"And you are not interested in Kazuki personally?" Tsubaki asked.
Sona Shitori/Sitri is known to be a calm, collected, and sometimes cold person. However, when it comes to relationships, she was quite inexperienced and talking about it made her nervous for a little bit. In fact, she has a 'standard' in mind. She would not go out with any boy unless they beat her in a game of chess.
Sona managed to answer without stuttering, "Kazuki is indeed an interesting person. Rias has told me, more like bragged, about what Kazuki can do and will do for those he cares about. Which to this day, highly regret, to no end, that I didn't recruit him."
"I would have preferred to have him as well. He could have taught all of us on how to use our magic more effectively. And he is rather kind and cute, for a boy," Tsubaki stated. When it comes to Tsubaki Shinra, the Queen of Sitri, she had most often found boys rather irksome with their raging hormones and desires to stick their ***** inside women. But Kazuki, along with Genshirou Saji to some degree, and Yuuto Kiba to an even more great degree, were rather tolerable, even pleasant company.
"Plus, Kazuki has a lot of maids who do some of the best cooking in the world," Sona stated. "One of these days, we'll be visiting him and see it for ourselves."
Tsubaki doesn't know if Sona is doing that for her own personal reasons, or just to make sure that all of this was feeble. However, before the two girls could say anything else, Sona stopped and looked at two people dressed in white hooded cloaks standing in the corner of the street, watching the students enter Kuoh Academy intensively. That gave Sona and Tsubaki a clear view of a long object strapped to the other person's back in cloth with a small crest.
"Is that…a Holy Sword?" Sona wondered.
** At the Occult Research Club **
President Rias, Koneko, Asia, Yuuma(Raynare), Yumika(Kalawarner), Yuna, Rin, Chihaya, Kuriko, Himari, and the Shikimori Siblings were in the room and noticed that Yuuto is nowhere to be seen.
"Has anyone seen Yuuto?" asked Kazuki.
"I haven't," answered President. "In fact, many girls were groaning that Yuuto wasn't here at all."
"So that explains why many of them went after Kazuki instead," said Yuna, twitching her eyes in anger.
The other girls had to agree with that. Earlier, many of the girls who admired Yuuto, soon went after Kazuki because they found him cute and handsome as well, although this is just temporarily.
"Maybe he's still thinking about his hateful past," said Rin. The others felt sorry for Yuuto, except for Yuuma and Yumika, in which they're thinking about something else.
It was then that Vice-President Akeno arrived along with Sona and Tsubaki.
"Buchou, our Kaichou, Sona has something urgent to tell you," said Akeno.
"Oh? What is it?" President asked, seeing that her friend/rival looked even more serious than usual.
"We'll discuss this in my house since no one can interrupt us there," Sona explained. "Oh, and Himari, you're coming with us, too. I've somehow also bumped into Kuesu and told me that she has saw 'it' too."
"I see," Himari stated. She and President Rias were getting curious as to what could be so important that they had to go to Souna's house where they and Kuesu could talk alone.
"Very well," said President. "Everyone, we'll be taking the rest of the day off after you all finished your duties. This meeting is adjourned."
"Master, Buchou and I will be going ahead. Please do not worry about us," said Himari, leaving with Rias, Akeno, Sona, and Tsubaki.
"O-OK," said Kazuki, but he and the others were wondering on what it's so important.
** At Sona's House **
It was afternoon, and school just ended, and Sona, Tsubaki, Rias, Akeno, Himari, and Kuesu who just came in, were all in a sauna which was in the basement of her house and was very spacious with a round seat where at least 10 people could fit in and there was a stove in the middle.
Akeno and Tsubaki, out of the corner of their eyes compared their bodies. Himari and Kuesu joined as well. The 4 were really close in terms of busty bodies, but it turns out that Akeno had the bustiest and curviest out of all. Despite this, Akeno thought that the other 3 girls' bodies were very 'senpai-like', which was attractive in its own way, and their breasts were almost screaming to be fondled.
Before they all started talking, Rias looked at her rivals' body and had to keep holding back her giggles, because even if Sona was beautiful, she still had the upper hand in appearance and breast size. Sona was only a tad bigger than Koneko and Shizuku, the green-haired loli-snake, in that region.
Himari and Kuesu should both be lucky, because if Lizlet L. Chelsie, one of the maids of MMM, and the maid from Café Relish came in, she would beat them all, including Akeno.
"Now, what do you all want to talk about?" asked Himari, while placing her sword down next to her.
"Ah yes. It's about two people who I saw were carrying a Holy Sword last night," said Kuesu.
The others except Sona and Tsubaki made a surprised face when Kuesu said that.
"Yes. I saw them too this morning," said Sona. "Those two were definitely affiliates of the church."
"I haven't seen them in this city for a while. What do they want?" Rias asked.
"They actually want to speak to you," Sona answered.
"Affiliates of the church wanted to meeteth a devil like Ms. Gremory?! You must be kidding!" Himari stated.
"This is no joke, Himari," said Kuesu. "I've felt their strong aura, and I wanted to fight them. Luckily, I made the right choice by holding back and not bumping into them."
"By the way, they've asked me to ask you if you'd meet them," Sona stated.
"And what did you say?" Rias asked.
"I said that you'd meet them on Monday at your clubroom once it's cleaned up," Sona answered.
"But what really concerns us is that Holy Sword they have with them," Tsubaki added.
"Church affiliates with a Holy Sword in this city?" Rias wondered. "What are they doing here?"
** At the 'Dorms' **
Kazuki, Yuna, Kuriko, Rin, Chihaya, Asia, and the Fallen Angels Raynare and Kalawarner were walking to the elevator and began going up to the 114th floor. However, when they passed the 40th floor, they all felt a menacing aura, and it only got worse as they climbed higher and higher.
"What is this feeling?" Raynare asked, clutching her chest, with her heart feeling a great weight upon it.
"Are there exorcists at our room?" Kalawarner asked, with a pressure in her chest telling her the same.
"It can't be!" said Yuna, feeling it too. "Those maids would've dealt with them by now."
"Yet, they didn't," said Rin. "Either way, we better be ready when these doors open."
By the time they reached the 114th floor, and the doors open, Yuna, Rin, and Kuriko came out and made battle stances, while Kazuki feared the worst.
"EVERYONE! Are you all right?!" asked Kazuki loudly.
Instead, there was some talking in the Living Room. The MMM Maid Team came in.
"Welcome Home, Master!" sang the maids.
"I've figured that you're worried," said Liera. "However, everything is under control. Tsuyuha is showing our guests your baby pictures."
"WHAT?!" asked Kazuki to his horror, and when he and the others reached into the Living Room, they've found Tsuyuha, Hisae, Saori, Yua, Madori, and two new people dressed in white cloaks.
"Welcome back, Kazuki!" said Tsuyuha.
"Hi, Kazuki!" the brown-haired girl said cheerfully, waving at him.
This sparked rage inside the other girls except for Raynare and Kalawarner.
"Kazuki. Do you know this girl?" asked Yuna, who was smiling, but she was very angry inside, and Kazuki can sense that.
Kazuki took a quick look at the girl, and then the album Tsuyuha is holding, and makes a stunning discovery.
"I-I-Irina? Is that you?" Kazuki asked in amazement.
"I'm so glad you remember me after 9 years when used to play together back at Aoi Academy. You used to be pushed around, but it seems we both changed. You can't tell what can happen in a reunion," said Irina.
"So, that girl Irina is your childhood friend?!" asked Yuna, Kuriko, Rin and Chihaya, knowing that their anger is about to explode.
"Yes." Kazuki said in one word to summarize it up.
"WHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT?!"
The Fallen Angels were laughing their butts off enjoying this.
** A few hours later **
"I'm so glad that all of you are safe," said President Rias as she and Himari hugged Kazuki and Asia. "I thought that the worst might have happened to my cute servants. I was prepared for the worst-case scenario…"
"No need to worry about that, Rias Gremory!" said Liera. "If that was ever the case, we'll be stepping up to the plate to make sure that nothing like THAT would ever happen to them, or to you. We maids have a mission in mind: To Protect Our Beloved Master, and all of those he/she cares about, and we won't stop until the very last job is accomplished!"
The other maids smiled at Rias, in return, she shed some tears of happiness, knowing that she got plenty of comrades to help her. The Shikimori Siblings all couldn't help but smile as well.
"Thank you, everyone," said Rias happily. "Kazuki, you should have called me immediately when those two visited you!" she said in a stern tone.
"I'm sorry," Kazuki apologized.
"But as long as everyone is okay, I'll forgive you all this time. But if something like this happens again, you call me, even though you have enough magic within you. Got it?" President ordered.
[YES, BUCHOU!] said Yuna, Rin, Chihaya, Kuriko, Asia, Raynare, and Kalawarner.
"Yes, President," said Kazuki.
"Good. Now, let's get ready to clean up the club classroom tomorrow," said President Rias.
"Hold it right there!" a familiar voice said. It was Thunder, who just returned after going through a few more fights with some delinquents.
"Thunder! Where have you been?!" asked Hilda.
"I've been improving my skills, that's all," said Thunder as she the others her bokken sword, which is filled up with some blood. "I've also met my some of my friends Poison and Roxy. They've been improving as well. But right now, I've heard that there's some cleaning to be done."
"Yes," answered Azumi. "We're going to the Kuoh Academy Old Building and do some cleaning."
The others were surprised.
"Wait, we've been assigned to-" was all Rias could say before Liera interrupted her.
"No. When cleaning up something is involved, you better leave it to us," said Liera. "We are known to be the best cleaners in the world, and this is proof of it."
They've presented the others 5 Platinum Awards for 'Best Cleanliness Maids In the World'. That means that they've been the cleanest maids for over 5 years. That stuns everyone.
"Then I leave it you, but I must come too," said Rias.
Liera smirked. "Consider it done."
** Down 47 Floors **
Keisuke sighed; this makes it twice in a week that there was an important meeting within the club. Well, since there was an unknown third party taking joining in and the topic of Stray Devils is quite a serious one on their minds, it can't be helped. Currently it was the weekend, Sunday morning to be precise, and everyone gathered in Serena's humble apartment on the 67th floor, in which it's not too bad. It has been 34 hours since the fight with the Stray Devils and the Peerage were ordered by Serena to rest the day after to wrap their heads around the circumstances.
"I've heard word that the 'Third Party' took down another Stray Devil, so we're down from 15 to 13. We still need to find the other members soon, or else it might blow out of proportions." He heard Kaoru said, the green haired older sister of the group looking deeply into the table.
"Well currently right now, their attack force is doubled that of us," Christie observed before she looked to Serena. "Will we be alright?"
"For now let's review the remaining members," Xarin suggested. They needed to look over the Peerage.
Serena nodded. She pointed to the coffee table with her index finger and a yellow magic circle appeared. A small file was produced from the circle. She picked up the file and took out a set of 15 pictures from it. She laid them categorically, a row for the eight Pawns followed by a row for the two Rooks, a row for the two Knights and "With the death of the two Pawns, Nina and Jacob…" she took away two pictures from the Pawns row, "…currently we are left with six Pawns, Ivan, Kisara, Diana, Xander, Dean and Krato, the two Rooks, Kilboar and Zhang Yue, the Knights, Kojiro, the man we faced the other day at the Warehouse, and Asara, two Bishops, Souta and Amanda, and the leader of the Stray Peerage, Savalia. Since Densdria Aim rarely takes part in the Rating Games, we can't really rely on the footage for a good estimation of their powers. But two things for sure; all of them are middle class devils and three of their members carry Sacred Gears: the Queen, Savalia, the Knight, Asara, and one of their Pawns, Krato. We are not sure of what kind of Sacred Gears they have, but it's safe to say to take extra care when fighting them."
"Guess we'll have to rely on our skills and luck to take them on; a preplanned strategy would be hard," Xarin deduced. Certainly that would be the main way of fighting them but the risk would be too large.
"That's right," Serena nodded again.
"But our problems doesn't end there, doesn't it?" Keisuke questioned. They still need to consider the third party.
Serena nodded, as if reading his mind. "The unknown Third Party who is also hunting down the Stray Devils. I've haven't heard his name, but I've sent my familiar to search the town for him. But so far she hasn't seen him."
"We will also send our familiars out to search him," Kaoru added.
Serena nodded again. "Please do," she agreed.
Xarin grinned, "And when we have found him, we have to capture him for an interrogation, don't we?"
"That should be the best option to gain any information about him. But, my other worry is to consider the fact that another peerage is taking the same Stray Peerage as we are. We all don't know who they are, so we should proceed with extreme caution should we cross lines with them. Also, the Ayakashi. I don't know what their main objectives but one thing is for sure; they are Demons based on Japanese folklore and they have been partnering up with Fallen Angels as revenge against the humans. Since that is the case, why would they bother with the Stray Devil Extermination?" Serena questioned.
"It might be because the Stray Devils are killing humans also, and plus either way, they and the Ayakashi are still killing one of their more despised enemies," Kaoru suggested. It seemed logical at this with the peace being thin as it is.
"Or that they don't trust us," Xarin added.
Serena considered both of these suggestions as possibilities. "At any rate, both of these factors are to be considered dangerous. And given the delicate situation, it will be best to not take any of these people on our own. So if you ever see any of them, or the other Devil Peerage going after them too, the first thing you do is to contact one of us and wait for us to arrive. I don't want any of you to be in danger."
"If things get out of hand, I'll be calling for reinforcements," Xarin added.
** Somewhere around the city **
He continued walking down the neighborhood. He was surprised by the peace that the neighborhood had as he looked around. Everyone here seemed harmless from his perspective, as normal as he could never be.
Sanosuke sighed. Right now he doesn't have his sword with him, because it will be very weird for someone to carry a sword at this day and age. So he spirited the sword away, back into another dimension where it is stored.
After the first battle with the Stray Devil and Freed Sellzen, he had spent the whole day yesterday searching for information, including the man he met earlier, Yuuto Kiba and his hatred for the Holy Swords, and what he had to do with the Holy Sword Project, and as luck would have it, nothing. He would have to wait until his benefactor would give him information or when one of them would make a move. Either the Stray Peerage of Densdria Aim or any one of the 2 Peerages assigned to this area.
The other 2 Peerages.
In honesty, he ignored the possibility of another Peerage or 2 in the area. For now, they seemed to be confused about his appearance if the reaction of the Knight of Rias Gremory brought to any attention. This would complicate things further if not handled carefully, as confident he is with his abilities, he knows he won't be able to take on even half the Peerage, or even more on his own. For now, he needs to find a way to not deal with them for a while.
He arrived in front of what seemed to be a Japanese style dojo. 'So this is my new home?' he thought before he took out the piece of paper in his inner pocket. He checked the address. It looked right. Aunt Valshion said to him that his stuff would have arrived the morning before. Though in truth there wasn't much in terms of his belongings; it probably wasn't all that hard. He walked in through the gate, as soon as he stepped in he immediately realized the barrier that surrounded the place. Must be Valshion's handy work. He looked around, up along the pathway was the main building of the dojo, just before that, the path split into two, the second path lead left to another building which he assumed to be house which was connected to the dojo by a small foyer. He could see that there was a small pond encircled by stones.
"I'm back!" he said before he began taking off his boots while sitting down, his voice rose so he could be heard. No answer came. "Aunt Valshion?" he placed the boots into the shoe cupboard. He took off his coat before walking in, revealing him to be wearing long-sleeved black t-shirt.
He continued walking along the corridor before making a left and sliding the door, into the living room. He noticed a woman sleeping on the green tatami mat in the living room. The woman in question looked no older that he was. Her smooth cyan blue hair was messed up from the sleep. She wore a simple grey top and wore black skirt. She wore black leggings.
'Must have stayed up waiting for me,' Sanosuke thought. This woman, whom he knew was Valshion, was a very caring person during his childhood and she still hasn't aged a day. When he left home, he never expected her to come back to his life at all. But she did, and she took him in. Maybe he should do something in return?
He went over to the kitchen, which was passed through another sliding door in the living room He set his coat over a chair's back as he went to get ingredients. Once he got everything he needed, he started cooking.
"Awwh!" he heard the yawn and knew who it was.
"Good morning, Aunt Valshion," He said as he started cooking.
"Good morning…" Valshion replied before her yellow eyes snapped opened. "Sano! You're back!" She grabbed his head under her arm and pulled him down, his head leaning onto the side of her breast. "Just where have you been, young man?! You didn't come back at all last night. You didn't even call! Oh wait, you don't have a cell phone. But still a little info would still be nice!" she tightened her hold around him.
"I get it, let go of me, Aunt Valshion! Ow!" She flicked his forehead.
"Please don't call me Aunt! I look no older than you!" She nudged his head.
"But you were my mother's friend! To not call you Aunt makes me feel awkward," he tried to defend himself. He finally managed to free himself from her and continued his cooking.
Valshion took in a deep breath. "Ah…you're cooking me breakfast?" Valshion asked, looking over his shoulder.
"It's the least I can do..." Sanosuke answered back. "Despite your persistence, you took me in."
"That's why I was your mother's best friend!" Valshion grinned. "Plus leaving you out there in the world, even if you had Wolf's protection, it was my fault, I should've stayed here at that time."
Sanosuke paused. He didn't turn to her but had said, "No one knew what would have happened back then. Please leave it alone," he continued cutting the vegetables.
"So what was the request this time?" Valshion asked, changing the subject. She went to open the cupboards and pulled out a couple of plates.
Sanosuke knew she was asking about. She knew about the fact that he had gone to the Underworld to talk to his latest client recently. What she didn't know is that the leader of the Fallen Angels, Azazel, told him about this request. "It's a more troublesome request…a Stray Devil Extermination."
"Who is the target?"
"This time it's a rare type Stray incident. A whole Peerage rebelled and killed their Master." He could say it was the most unnatural and the most extreme of cases. With reasons unclear, to have 15 devils to rebel and kill their own master, just what did that master do?
"By the way, Sylvia left this morning for a competition. She seemed to be really happy to see you again so soon," Valshion added.
"Oh…" Sanosuke said. He had forgotten about her, much to his own dismay. Before that happened, she used to always come to his old home. Her father used to be good friends with his father and Valshion.
What was she doing now?
** Next Day; At the Old Building **
Kazuki was heading to the club with Asia, Raynare, and Kalawarner, receiving text from President Rias that the club classroom was cleaned by the Maids, and they did an AWESOME job on it, and they could use it again.
As they get closer and closer to the club room, Asia was getting more and more nervous, in which Kazuki noticed quickly.
"Asia, what's wrong?" he asked.
"Those 2 exorcists. What if they recognize me?" Asia asked, with her voice quivering.
"And they could kill us as well," said Yuuma. "We could easily be recognized as Fallen Angels."
"Don't worry, everyone. My friends and I won't let them harm you if they try to pull a fast one," Kazuki assured them.
They all relaxed a bit just as they entered the room.
When they entered the room, what the Maids said before was certainly no joke. Everything was sparkly clean and the floor had a mirror flash. They could almost see their reflections even though it was a wooden floor. Kazuki knew not to look at the floor, because if he did, he would see a barrage of panties the girls are wearing.
"Huaa. It's so clean in here," Asia gushed cutely.
Kazuki had to agree.
Yumika then saw something. "What's in there?" she asked.
She pointed to the double doors and noticed that handles had heavy-looking chains wrapped around them with a large, thick padlock locking it in place, and plenty of "KEEP OUT!" tapes placed on the doors.
"Please don't think about it. That room is sealed for a reason," said a familiar voice.
That voice belonged to President Rias. She and Koneko were already in the room, along with the loli-snake Shizuku, and the sexy witch Kuesu.
It was then that Yuna, Chihaya, and Kuriko came in with worried looks on their faces.
"Buchou….Yuuto is absent again," panted Yuna.
"Not only that, Himari and Rin are also nowhere to be seen," added Kuriko. "Where would those 2 have gone to?"
"I don't know. I've tried calling them, but no answers from any of them," said President.
"Should we keep searching for them after this meeting?" Kazuki asked.
"Your siblings already got that covered, you know…" said Shizuku.
"Thank you Shizuku," said President. Kazuki was glad that his cousins and sisters agreed to search for them as well.
It wasn't long until Akeno came in with two familiar figures behind her.
"Buchou, the visitors are here," Akeno said.
Two people in white cloaks followed the Gremory Queen into the room. President Rias, her peerage, Yuna, Kuriko, Chihaya, Kuesu, Shizuku and the Fallen Angels could see their faces with their bodies covered by the thick white cloaks that were adorned with gold and blue accents. Just below the cloaks, they could see the pair wearing slim black boots.
The one who was carrying the large sword on her back is Irina's friend named Xenovia. She removed it and held it in front of her.
"Please, sit," President said to the pair, indicating the couch closest to the door.
"Thank you," Irina said to the crimson-haired princess as the pair sat down. Rias sat down on the other couch, while the rest of her peerage stood behind her, while the others stood from another corner of the room.
The atmosphere around them suddenly grew intense as Xenovia first looked at every devil who was in the room and wondered what powers they possessed. Then she looked at Asia, in which she started wondering if she knew her from somewhere. She then looked at the two Fallen Angels and glared at them intensively, in which they looked back at her with a deadly glare of their own. She's wondering on how Rias managed to get them. Next, she looked at Yuna, Kuriko and Chihaya and noticed that they have a lot of magic residing within them, so she'll definitely be on the lookout for them.
However, when she looked at Kuesu, her eyes widened.
"Irina," Xenovia said and Irina looked at her.
"What is it, Xe?" Irina asked her friend.
The blue-haired exorcist pointed at Kuesu and spoke, "That girl. It's her; one of the Demon Slayers, Kuesu Jinguji."
Irina gasped when her friend said that name. The others wondered how she knew Kuesu, but Kuesu on the other hand, growled lowly as she knew she was not going to like this.
"Looks like that we meet again, Xenovia," said Kuesu with venom in her voice.
Rias could tell that things could get ugly in a minute.
"How do you know Kuesu?" President asked calmly.
Xenovia and Kuesu were locking eyes on each other, and neither of them were backing down, so Irina answered for her.
"Well, Kuesu is known to be very arrogant and haughty due to her heritage as a Demon Slayer. Also, with her using Dark Western Magic from her family, she and her family were usually looked down upon by the other Demon Families and the Ayakashi as heretics and outcasts for using Western Magic."
Kuesu was getting crosser and crosser, but the others managed to calm her down as Irina continued.
"Since she's known to be a famous Witch, Michael and Gabriel informed the Church about the Jinguji family, and ordered that they were to be taken to Church if any one of them were found," she explained.
"This is also because that her family know some of the Holy Swords very well, and stole some of them from England just to make the other Demon Families jealous," said Xenovia.
The others gasped, especially Asia.
"I-Is this true?" Kazuki asked.
"We had to!" Kuesu confessed, with her anger reaching the boiling point. "They always think that we are the weakest of all the Demon Slayer families, so we had to get back at some of them by taking some of those Holy Swords using our magic!"
"In which you've easily alerted us," answered Xenovia.
"Michael told the leaders of the Church, while Gabriel informed the other Holy Sword users about this, and as a result, we got into a little war against some of the Demon Slayer families," Irina said.
"And because of our actions, our status as a Demon Slayer family only got worse instead of getting better," said Kuesu, trying to hold back tears. "We've tried to return some of the Holy Swords by using our magic again, but at that time, we were still training, and some of those Holy Swords were separated in different directions, including a few in the Underworld."
The others gasped at what Kuesu did back then. She and her family were the lowest of the group, and Kuesu tried to recover by stealing some Holy Swords while they were in England at the time. But that plan backfired in more ways than one, which caused the Church, the Holy Sword users and the Demon Slayer families battle each other.
Rias and her peerage, and Kazuki's friends all felt sorry for Kuesu, but Xenovia and Irina were still cross at what she did. Kazuki hugged Kuesu, surprising everyone, and Kuesu herself, and told her that what's done is done, and just move on. Kuesu cried onto Kazuki's shirt as she began feeling better. The others smiled at Kazuki's kindness, despite of all the things Kuesu did in the past.
"Lord Father, please forgive us for not purifying the Jinguji family when we had the chance," Irina prayed, which made Asia recall the times when she used to pray all the time.
"Now then, let's get back to the matter at hand," President Rias said. "Why did you want to meet me?"
"Well, at least we should introduce ourselves. My name is Xenovia," said the blue-haired girl.
"And I'm Kazuki's childhood friend, Irina Shidou," said the brown-haired girl, making some of the girls quickly glare at Kazuki.
"We are here to retrieve the stolen Excalibur swords that were taken by the Fallen Angels, particularly thanks to that Witch over there," Xenovia stated, pointing to Kuesu. Kuesu, however, took no notice.
"So far, one Excalibur sword has yet to be found, but the other six were stored by 3 divisions of the Church," Irina added.
"The Excalibur I hold is Excalibur Destruction. It's one of the 7 Holy Swords that were created. The Catholic Church is in control of it," said Xenovia, holding the wrapped object in her lap.
"And this is Excalibur Mimic. I can change its shape into anything I want, so it's really useful for carrying around," said Irina, pointing at the small white rope around her arm.
Both Raynare and Kalawarner looked at the rope around Irina's arm, realizing now why she didn't see the second Holy Sword before.
'So it's camouflaged,' Kalawarner thought.
Irina continued, "Just like this, each Excalibur has its unique ability. This one is in possession of the Protestant Church."
"Irina..." Xenovia spoke up. "There's no reason to tell them the ability of Excalibur, is there?"
"Ara Xenovia. Even if some of them are Devils, we still have to form a trustworthy relationship with them in this situation. Also, even if my sword's ability is revealed, I won't fall behind all the Devils here," said Irina.
Kazuki could see that Irina is still putting up a brave face after all these years.
"So, except for those two over there," President pointed to Raynare and Kalawarner. "The other Fallen Angels stole 3 of the Holy Swords from the Church, you were given Holy Swords in order to help you retrieve the ones that were stolen, and you would like us to not interfere?"
"Correct," said Xenovia, confirming it. "We can't afford to deal with the Devils of this city while we search for the Fallen, but if we must, we will destroy each and every one of you."
"With a whole lot of incidents happening in my territory, I would never do such a thing like taking side with the Fallen Angels. In the name of the Gremory clan, I, Rias Gremory, will never do anything that will humiliate our Great Satans, even if I'm the little sister of Great Satan Sirzechs Lucifer!" President stated.
"As expected from that sister of Great Satan Lucifer. I knew you would be smart," Xenovia stated, looking pleased even when her face remained stern.
"And you also know that I won't side with either you or Heaven, right?" President asked.
"Of course. If you had to do such a thing like that, then it would certainly affect the balance of the 3 factions. As long as you or any one of your pals don't interfere in our mission, then everything should be just fine. Thank you for your time. We shall leave now," Xenovia said as she and Irina stood up.
However, when they looked at Asia, things are about to take a nasty turn for the worse!
"Are you by chance Asia Argento?" Xenovia asked.
She simply nodded.
"I thought that witch Kuesu was bad enough, but I never expected to see this witch here as well!"
"I remember now! You're the saint who was excommunicated because you healed a Devil, but I never thought you would become one," Irina added.
Asia was quivering, while Kuesu was getting cross again.
"Do you still believe in God after going down so low to being a Devil?" asked Xenovia.
Kazuki was beginning to get angry at the two exorcists, as they were making Asia afraid and remember the pains of her ordeals.
"Xenovia, there's no way that she, who became a devil, still believes in God," said Irina.
"No, I can smell the 'belief' from her. Some heretics feel some guilt and retain a little faith. I can sense it from her," Xenovia said with sharp eyes.
"Asia? Is this true? Do you still believe in God even if you have turned into a devil?" asked Irina with a sad expression.
Asia replied, "…I just can't let it go. I believed in it for my whole life…" She was beginning to cry.
President and the others started to feel angry at the two. However, Rias wondered how those two would react if they ever knew that God was actually dead…
"Then, you left us no choice but to kill you now," said Xenovia as she took her sword out.
Asia gasped in horror.
"Whatever sins you have committed, Lord will always forgive you," Xenovia said.
"That's enough! If you are going to belittle my servant…" President started.
"I am not belittling her," Xenovia interrupted. "I am simply offering her a chance at redemption as a woman of faith."
"How dare you!" said Kuesu, releasing a magical black fireball trying to distract Xenovia and Irina, now finally losing it.
Xenovia quickly dissipated the fireball with her sword and charged towards Asia ready to strike her…
…only to be blocked by Kazuki by summoning his Boosted Gear and creating a large shield to protect him and Asia as the blade hit the shield, bouncing back.
"Kazuki! Don't do this!" Yuna said, who was very concerned.
"What are you trying to do? Get yourself killed?!" asked Chihaya, who was clearly worried.
"No!" Kazuki said to them before turning to Xenovia. "What gives you the right to call Asia a witch? Asia doesn't judge others by their race and helps them because she chooses to. It's because she cares!"
"A saint who heals an evil creature can't be anything but a witch," Xenovia answered.
"Yeah, right!" said Kuesu, who was clearly out of line.
"Evil creature? While that devil might have been, we are not all evil. If we were, you would have already died in horrible, agonizing pain. And nobody is perfect, as your Angels are proof of that whenever one of them falls from heaven," Kazuki said.
Irina and Xenovia grimaced from his words.
"What are you to Asia?" Xenovia asked.
"I am someone who loves her, protects her, and is there for her in person, and that goes for everyone else here in this room and at the 'Dorms'! When she was with the Church, Asia used her gifts to help people, but she didn't have any friends or family. No one vouched for her or tried to give her a second chance. And before you even start saying that Saints need only God's love, that's false. Saints are human, and a life without anyone to share it with is no life at all. And God is not there in person to tell you that you're doing a good job or encourage you whenever things become difficult," Kazuki exclaimed.
While the others were surprised that Kazuki could talk like that, Xenovia and Irina tried to come up with something to respond but Kazuki continued before they could.
"In fact, back then, at Aoi Academy, without Yuna, Kuriko, Rin, and Chihaya, my life was lonely, difficult and painful. I was used and even hurt by my friends, and my classmates, because I had a low number of magic uses, and I was very unpopular. I prayed to God for something to make my life better, before and after those horrible events, even when I risk my own life to save the lives of Yuna, Rin, Kuriko, and Chihaya, but he didn't respond.
"In fact, I should've been dead by now after using the last of my magic to save Yuna from a retrovirus. However, the one who made my life better and saved me when I was on the verge of death was my master Rias Gremory, who has shown me and my 4 friends more compassion then anyone in my life. Tell me, has God himself ever appeared in front of you and told you what to do? How do you know that it is God's will when a priest tells you to do something bloody? Does God grant wishes to those who believe in him and makes their life better when they deserve or need it?" Kazuki questioned.
Yuna, Kuriko and Chihaya were crying in tears of happiness when Kazuki told them about those events. If Rin was here, she would be happy too. The others had watched in amazement of Kazuki's angry questioning and were impressed. President Rias was feeling proud of her servant for making two blind followers of the church go silent.
However, Rias was doing more than watching. She was mentally prompting Kazuki, subtly using her connection to her servant to make sure he didn't give away anything vital. They probably wouldn't believe him anyway.
"But the bottom line is, if you dare try to hurt Asia, I will kill you," Kazuki stated in a menacing way that would have made his family proud.
"Hoo. So you would fight against the entire church? That's a bold statement from a lowly devil like you," Xenovia said.
"No matter how many of you there are, you are still humans with frail bodies. I've fought giant enemies before as a human and a magician and endured pain you could never imagine," Kazuki said.
"I serve God! All I do is for his glory," Xenovia grimaced. "Though I am curious if you will ever be a worthy opponent."
"No! I will be your opponent," a new voice said from the entrance.
Everyone looked towards the door to see a young man with blond hair and a serious expression on his face, staring back at them with his arms crossed.
"Who are you?" Xenovia asked.
"Your senior when it comes to swords," the blonde boy replied. The others knew exactly who he was as they all breathed a huge sigh of relief.
"Yuuto," President Rias said, glad to see that Yuuto Kiba was alive.
"Very well," Xenovia said.
As they let out some killer intent throughout the room, it bought attention to the classroom next door, where the Expedition Club is currently at.
** At the Expedition Club **
Serena's familiar came in and reported so fast, that it sends a chill to her bones.
"Everyone!" Serena shouted, forcing everyone to turn to her. "Looks like we've got a new problem on our hands. There are some people who are carrying Holy Swords around the school!"
The others gasped in shock.
"So that explains why we've felt some pain in our hearts, even for a split second," said Kaoru.
"Well, now we better be on our guard," warned Xarin. "It's possible that they could be after us."
"And the worst part is, the Holy Swords are different swords of Excalibur," Serena said.
"Ehh! Excalibur?! As in THE Holy Sword Excalibur?!" asked Christina.
"Yes," replied Serena.
"There's no way we're going to survive if they find us!" said Keisuke who was clearly scared.
"Not unless we beat them first," said Serena.
They don't realize on how CLOSE they are to the 2 people holding the Excalibur swords (Next Door!).
** At Valshion's home **
As Sanosuke and Valshion finished eating dinner, a quick magical circle appeared. When the magic died down, they were surprised to find….
"Azzie!" said Valshion.
"Boss…" said Sanosuke, narrowing his eyes.
"It's been a long time, hasn't it, Valshion?" asked Azazel.
"Too long, sugar!" answered Valshion.
Out of all the Fallen Angels here, Azazel has known Valshion the longest. It was he that asked Valshion to take care of Sanosuke after hearing about 'IT'.
"So, Sanosuke? Are you still trying to recover from THAT?" asked Azazel.
Sanosuke said nothing.
"Well, here's something that might help you," said Azazel, although his face looked serious. "******** is still trying to do his plan."
When they heard that name, Sanosuke and Valshion had angry looks on their faces.
"Has that guy lost his bloody mind?!" asked Valshion.
"I've tried to reason with him, but as expected, he won't listen," Azazel sighed.
"This is just great. First, a Stray Peerage extermination, and now, this!" Sanosuke banged the table in anger.
Azazel could feel his pain as he remembered the conversation he had a few hours ago.
(FLASHBACK TIME!)
** 2 hours ago; at an unknown Church **
Azazel and the mysterious man were arguing about Kazuki.
"So that kid's still alive. I should pa-", the man is stopped by Azazel graving his arm and glaring dangerously at him.
"If you even try to touch one hair on him, you will die," Azazel says and the mysterious man became angry and whacks Azazel's arm away.
"So your threatening me to kill me?!" the mysterious man says angrily.
"I won't kill you but Kazuki or his friends will; that's for sure. But, if you do manage to survive, I'll make your life a living hell, so I'll say this once more. Don't even think about touching him or any one of his friends," Azazel says and releases his power making the mysterious man back away.
"Fine!" the mysterious man says and leaves the room.
Once the mysterious man left the room, he quickly snapped his fingers, in which 7 more people showed up.
"So, how was the fight from the warehouse?" he asked.
"It was terrible! One of them even saw that cat in which she should've been killed after I've destroyed her home!" one of them said.
"And we saw that boy who can change swords," another one said. "I've felt its power even from miles away."
"So, that kid must have THAT sword. I'll rip it out if him if it means getting it," the mysterious man thinks, smiling darkly. Little does he know that he had just made his biggest mistake ever.
(FLASHBACK END!)
** At the Kuoh Academy Sports Field **
"Is it alright for us to fight two affiliates of the church?" Akeno asked President.
"This is simply a sparring match. An unofficial one," President answered.
"If our higher-ups knew about us getting defeated, we would be in trouble," Irina said and discarded her cloak, the white rope around her arm morphing into a katana.
Finally able to get a good look at the pair, the Devils saw that Irina was a young woman around Kazuki's age with long, light brown hair and violet eyes. Her hair was styled into twin-side ponytails, each held with a blue scrunchy. She was dressed in the standard Church battle outfit: a black, skin-tight unitard with short sleeves and pauldrons, matching fingerless gloves that extend to her biceps, and thigh-high boots, all of which are adorned with straps.
"We will try not to kill you," Xenovia said and she discarded her cloak and the wrapping around her sword came off on its own, revealing a two-handed sword with a large blade that ended in 3 points. It almost looked like some kind of large, spiked, cutting knife.
Xenovia had light blue hair with a green fringe in the middle and brown eyes. She was also dressed in a Church battle outfit exactly like Irina. She also wears a crucifix around her neck.
'Those higher-ups of the church must be a bunch of perverts too….,' Koneko thought, seeing as how their outfits looked like Akeno's sadist outfit, but with more material. Still, they were both shiny black and skin-tight, leaving nothing to the imagination. Every shape and curve could be seen on them.
Xenovia stood 5-foot 5-inches, and appeared to be about 123 lbs. Lean and athletic, she also seemed to have a bust-size between just slightly bigger than Yuuma and Yumika.
Irina looked to be about 5-feet 4-inches in height. And though she seemed to have the same bust size as Xenovia, her hips were only a little bit curvier than Xenovia.
Standing opposite them, Kazuki and Yuuto were their opponents. Kazuki couldn't help but blush at their outfits.
"Kazuki!" Irina exclaimed. "The fate is cruel to us! You became a devil after our years apart and now we have to fight each other! This trial is harsh, but I will get closer to him with this! Amen!"
Kazuki sweat-dropped. His old friend was totally lost in her faith.
"Let's get this over with," Kazuki said as he summoned up his Boosted Gear, not wanting to summon his 10 Commandments Sword yet.
"Then let us begin," Xenovia said seriously.

Next time on Magical Devils…
The fight between Kazuki Shikimori and Yuuto Kiba against Irina Shidou and Xenovia begins, and the latter 2 are shocked when Kazuki accidentally reveals that he has Angel and Fallen Angel powers, as well as wielding the 10 Commandments Sword.
After the fight, Irina and Xenovia get ready for another unexpected fight from Himari Noihara and Rin Kameshiro!
Then later, Keisuke goes on an unexpected date with his friend Saya, but it quickly gets interrupted when they meet Sanosuke while he was trying to think of his childhood friend, Sylvia.
Plus, Kazuki and the gang try to convince Genshirou Saji, Xenovia and Irina in helping them out with Yuuto's revenge against the Excalibur swords and trying to destroy it.
However, both Yuuto and Kazuki are also about to meet Sanosuke and Keisuke and some members of the Stray Devil Peerage at the park.
We saw some action in this episode, but that's nothing compared to the action that's bound to happen on the next episode of Magical Devils!
Well, well, well. It pays off to be on break because this chapter only took ONE day to complete!
