Hello, one and all! Dad90 here once again, and I hope you've enjoyed the Holidays. Unfortunately, we're getting ready to go back to work/school soon, so I'll give you this chapter before all of that begins. It looks like I've stumped a few people, so let's see the answers for this Quickie Quiz.
1. Shinjuku, Shibuya, Harajuku, Ginza, Marunouchi, Ikebukuro, Odaiba, Tokyo Solamachi, Roppongi, Sugamo, Akihabara, Kappabashi, Jimbocho, Ochanomizu, Omotesando, Shimokitazawa, Kichijoji, Koenji, Asakusa
2. "This food in my homeland is COAL compared to this!" Xenovia said at the restaurant.
XMAS REF: COAL
3. "Dr. Livingstone, I presume?" was the phrase made by Henry Morton Stanley on October 27, 1871, in Ujiji near Lake Tanganyika in present-day Tanzania.
I'm surprised that some of you didn't get #3. I thought it was easy. Oh well. And #1 had a lot more districts than you think. With those in mind, let's update the scores.

Now, we've actually got a few things to uncover due to one of the reviews posted by BladeofHell56. He has asked that Kazuki is not using his magic to his full extent, or for that matter, for Kazuki relearning how to use magic.
Well, BladeofHell56, Kazuki already has his magic and he is indeed nearly omnipotent, which he can do SO many things he wants, but there's a few reasons why I didn't make Kazuki use his full magic yet. The first, is because he would be a Major Threat to all 3 Factions early while they were trying to save Asia. Second, while Kazuki nearly has omnipotent powers, he has a tendency trying his best NOT to fight, but thanks to Rias Gremory, he sometimes have no choice; not to mention the fact that he's also Rias' only Pawn. Third, Kazuki may attract all the other female Angels, Devils, and Fallen Angels because of his powers, and that is exactly what's going to happen after the battle with Kokabiel. Fourth, with more characters coming into this story, thanks to FireBirdArcher21's OCs, I want to give them and some of the main characters a chance to shine.
Hopefully, I've cleared some of those doubts that you had, BladeofHell56. And on that note, let's proceed to our next chapter of…
Magical Devils
Chapter 15/Season 2 – Episode 4: An 'Almost Unbeatable' Army approaches!
As the sun was beginning to set, Kazuki, the other devils Koneko, Yuuto, and Gen, along with the exorcists Xenovia and Irina, Kuesu the Jinguji witch, and Shizuku, the loli-snake girl all proceeded to the Church where Kazuki saved Asia and President Rias defeated 2 Fallen Angels Mittlet and Dohnaseek. This is due to the fact that they had no other choice to find their targets, in which they're much bigger than they have thought.
When they arrived, Xenovia and Irina were stunned by the destroyed church.
"Do you know what happened here?" asked Xenovia. "The church looks like it had recently been burned."
"Kazuki saved Asia from the Fallen Angels after they captured her and brought us all here," Koneko answered.
"What were the Fallen intending to do with you?" Irina asked Kazuki.
"Their plan was to take Asia's Twilight Healing so that they could quickly heal their warriors if they were injured," Kazuki answered. "That, and Freed tried to rape Asia."
That caused Xenovia, Irina, Kuesu, and Shizuku to gasp in horror at hearing that part. Though it did explain why Kazuki was so protective of the former nun, and his friends for that matter.
When they got inside the burnt building, they've found priest robes in the underground area where Asia's Sacred Gear was taken from Raynare, before Dr. Akai came to save her and Kalawarner. After finding suitable sizes for everyone, the devils plus the witch and loli-snake put them on, although Kuesu and Shizuku didn't like the smell of the clothes.
"Well, this is somewhat sardonic," Gen said as he looked himself over.
"A little…" Kuesu whispered to herself.
"Now then, Irina and I will take the western side of the city while you all search the eastern side together. It would give us a wider area of search if you split up, but you need to be together because the enemy has plenty of weapons that are among the deadliest not only against devils, but against humans as well," Xenovia explained.
"Got it. You have our numbers and we have yours so when someone finds something, you/we call," Gen said to Irina, who nodded at the phone her mother had given her.
"Kazuki, don't get killed," Irina said in a cute way.
"Oh please," said Kuesu, bragging about Kazuki. "Kazuki wouldn't get killed or give up that easily. After all, he's very strong, you know."
"That's my line, you know…" said Shizuku, glaring at Kuesu.
Kazuki blushed lightly after what Kuesu said about him.
"Let's get started then," said Xenovia as she left with Irina, while the others proceeded the other way.
Unfortunately, they wouldn't go without being unnoticed. Hiding behind one of the trees was one of the one of the maids of the MMM Maid Team, Thunder Maki. She had seen everything.
"Looks like Ms. Gremory is definitely going to hear about this!" said the delinquent maid as she proceeded back to the hotel.
And if that wasn't enough, from a nearby rooftop, a couple of Devils from the Student Council, Tsubasa Yura and Momo Hanakai, were watching them as well.
"Should we report this to President Sona?" asked Momo as the blue-haired devil lowered her binoculars.
"Not just yet. Let's wait until we have something to report," Tsubasa said to her friend.
** At Café Relish **
Himari and Liz were finally closing up shop when suddenly Himari sense something awful.
"Liz! We musteth get back to thy 'Dorms' quickly!" Himari said to the busty maid.
"W-Why?" asked Liz in surprise.
"I haveth a feeling that Ms. Gremory is about to find out about Kazuki's secret plan!"
"Y-Yes!"
Himari and Liz picked up the pace to clean everything and close up shop, but will they make it in time?
** At the eastern side **
It was nighttime, and even though this side of the city have more residential areas, not one person is out except for Kazuki and the gang. Koneko and Gen hoped that they could use their familiars, but their masters would know about it and that would put them into trouble.
As they went near the park, Kazuki felt a sudden, yet faint, dreadful feeling.
"Did you feel that?" Kazuki asked.
"What?" Gen asked.
"I had the same feeling when I felt Irina and Xenovia were at our room, but it went by so fast," Kazuki said.
"I didn't…" Koneko started, but she felt it as well, and so did Kuesu and Shizuku.
"Wait. Let me try something," said Kuesu, as she opened her spellbook and she made total concentration.
A few seconds later, her dark moon crescent on her forehead lit for a moment, and Kuesu knew where the feeling came from.
"I know where they are! Everyone, get close to me, because we're teleporting!" said Kuesu.
Thanks to Kuesu and her dark magic, she was able to teleport everyone to their destination quickly, saving a bunch of time and energy for them.
** At their destination **
Once the group had arrived, they've looked around to see a building that looked too familiar for the servants of Rias Gremory. In fact, this is the abandoned factory to where they fought against one wild Ayakashi, confronted two mysterious people and a lot of men with plenty of weapons and nuclear weapons, and met three of the Stray Devils from the Stray Devil Peerage.
Ironically, next to that is the old abandoned warehouse, where Kazuki and the group all subdued more Stray Devils, including Viser.
"This is where we all defeated Viser and many more Stray Devils," Kazuki remembered.
Yuuto and Koneko certainly remembered this too. Kuesu, Shizuku, and Gen were surprised. While Gen had been aware of that, thanks to Student Council President Souna, Kuesu and Shizuku never heard of that mission.
Suddenly, a creepy voice came out of nowhere.
"Are we having a Devils' Cosplay here or what?!"
They all rushed inside and saw someone with a sword standing on the other side of the entrance hall. Kazuki saw him before and he didn't like what he sees.
"FREED!" Kazuki shouted with hatred, remembering the time where the priest almost raped Asia.
"So that's the priest?" asked Kuesu. "This is certainly a coincidence since I hate priests myself."
"Ahh, the damned demon pretty boy, Mr. Super-Holy-Sword himself, and a witch whom I've fallen in love at first sight! I was hunting priests, but this is better!" Freed shouted in maniacal delight. "How is Asia, by the way? I hope she died in agony! And as for you witch, I'll save you for last, because with that sexy body of yours, it cannot wait to be raped by me!"
"Sorry, but…" Kazuki was saying.
"Your blessings won't be enough here," Yuuto finished. He made his sword appear and then ordered to his teammates, "Don't interfere."
And like that, Yuuto and Freed were at battle once again.
Kazuki and the others gasped at seeing Freed being as fast as Yuuto. Kazuki and Kuesu watched their speed intensively using their magic, while the others had a hard time keeping up with the battling pair.
"OK, I'm going to help Yuuto out for a bit," said Kazuki, getting ready to use his magic, but Shizuku and Koneko stopped him.
"Yuuto said not to interfere…" Koneko said.
"Plus, they're moving too fast for us to do anything, you know…" said Shizuku. "It would be like a snail trying to catch a cheetah on an adrenaline rush."
"Their swordsmanship is nearly equal, but Yuuto's advantage has always been his speed, which means it could go either way," said Kazuki. "Now I-"
"I have a plan!" Gen interrupted Kazuki.
"What is it?" Kuesu asked.
"If one of you can stun them for a couple of seconds, I can get an energy line around Freed's leg. Slow him down enough to give Yuuto a solid chance," Gen said as he materialized his Sacred Gear, which looked a small black lizard (chameleon, more accurately) with a deformed face, large purple eyes, and was mounted on his left wrist.
Seeing the curious looks on their faces, Gen explained.
"This is called Absorption Line. Also known as 'The Black Dragon Pulse.' It holds the soul of Vritra, the Black Dragon and one of the 5 Dragon Kings. I can't control all of its powers yet, but it's more than enough to get this done."
"Alright then," Kazuki said. "I will freeze Freed using my magic, Shizuku will push Yuuto out of the way, Koneko will catch Yuuto when he comes her way, Kuesu will create a diversion using a wall of flames, and then Gen will make his move."
They all nodded in agreement, and put the plan into action.
Yuuto and Freed were smashing their swords against each other's blades, already having inflicted some damage upon their rivals' body. Yuuto had a cut on his leg and on his left arm, while Freed had 2 slashed on his chest and a small slice-scar on his cheek.
"SWORD BIRTH!" Yuuto yelled, slamming his sword onto the ground and sending energy waves through the ground, which caused dozens of swords to explode out of the ground and attempted to impale Freed.
Freed however, saw the energy waves heading towards him and leapt into the air and out of the way as the swords sprang up where he had been standing.
"Coward!" Yuuto shouted as he leapt towards the priest.
"Sword Freak!" Freed shouted as he landed and rushed to Yuuto.
"Hypocrite!" Yuuto shouted as he spun around to avoid Freed's attack, and kicked the priest in the back.
"Metro-Sexual Pretty Boy!" Freed shouted as he spun around threw a back-hand strike, clipping Yuuto in the jaw.
"Shark-Faced Super Psycho!" Yuuto shouted and swung his sword, slashing at Freed between his chest and stomach, spewing out blood.
Neither of them were breathing hard nor giving up. They kept lunging at each other, with their swords striking hard against each other several times, until they were pushing against each other and not moving. The pair were pushing against each other, which caused them to momentarily stop moving at super speed.
That was the moment for Kazuki's plan to take action!
"NOW!" Kazuki yelled as he used his magic to freeze Freed, leaving him paralyzed.
"What the?!" Freed asked, trying to move, but he couldn't.
Yuuto then saw a huge burst of water from Shizuku splashing towards him, knocking him backwards and flying up in the air.
Koneko leapt into the air and caught Yuuto before bringing him down to the ground, feet first of course.
"Now let's see on how you handle these!" Kuesu yelled as she made a huge wall of flames right in front of Freed, making him close his eyes to the intense heat.
"What is thiiiiiiis?!" Freed asked angrily, still trying to move, but he couldn't.
It was then that Gen made his move.
"ABSORPTION LINE!" Gen shouted as a blue energy line shot out of the mouth of his Sacred Gear, snagging Freed's left leg and tugging hard on it, pulling him into the flames, eating his clothes and damaging his sword in the process.
"AAHHH!" screamed Freed in pain. He also felt his sword become heavier and heavier, while his body become more sluggish by the second.
"You punks! My energy and sword are melting!" Freed yelled.
"That's right! Now we have no problem taking you down!" Gen smirked as the priest tried hacking away at the energy line that was still attached to his leg, but no luck as he was still paralyzed.
Yuuto saw a golden opportunity and moved towards Freed. Meanwhile, Shizuku tapped Koneko on her shoulder and made her look over at the entrance. There was a pair of white-cloaked individuals rushing towards them.
While Yuuto and Freed were battling earlier, Koneko had texted Irina their location. She and Shizuku were surprised that Irina and Xenovia responded very quickly.
However, as the pair were arriving, a sudden noise caught everyone's attention. They all looked into the air to see a speeding Rocket heading straight towards them! The rocket was so fast, that Kazuki didn't have enough time to use his magic to stop the rocket as it blasted the ground in front of the exorcists, knocking them backwards.
"Irina! Xenovia!" Kazuki rushed to them.
"Damn it!" Kuesu growled. She and the others looked in the direction where the rocket came from, easily following the smoke trail, and they all saw an old bespectacled man, with gray hair and a moustache, wearing priests' robes, and carrying a rocket launcher, a Panzerschreck to be exact, on his shoulders.
Kazuki then realized that some of the nuclear weapons, including WWI and WWII weapons are all still here in the factory!
"I'm sorry, but I can't allow the church to interfere in this battle," the old man declared.
"It's about time you showed up, Galilei!" Freed shouted at the elderly priest.
"So that's Valper Galilei," Yuuto hissed under his breath.
"Freed! Focus on your sword to get better movement and hack that line off of your leg!" Valper shouted as pulled out an assault rifle, a Sturmgewehr 44 and started shooting at the group, forcing them to get out of harm's way. "Try some of my special silver-coated, holy-water infused bullets, taken from this factory and the Vatican itself!"
The Devils managed to steer clear, knowing what those bullets would do to them if they were hit. While they wouldn't die, especially Kazuki, it would be enough to injure them so that Freed could finish the job.
"Don't think you're the only one who has firepower!" Kuesu yelled as she took out her gun, a Stechkin APS machine pistol, which is loaded magic bullets and dark magic. "I've got some magic of my own that could kill you!"
"Then let's see who gets hit first!" the old man laughed as he and Kuesu have begun their shootout.
That gave the others a chance to help Irina, who was badly hurt, bleeding with cuts and bruises all over her body, and her cloak torn in various places.
Xenovia didn't fare any better as she was gasping in pain as her body was bleeding from the shrapnel she had taken due to the explosion.
Kazuki told everyone to stay back as he began his magic to heal Irina and Xenovia.
"What…are…you…doing?" Xenovia gasped weakly.
"I'm healing you, that's what," Kazuki said as he concentrated as a large blue circle appeared around the two.
Both Xenovia and Irina were up in midair, and soon their wounds were quickly healing up, and the pain lessened to none, and they've felt better immediately.
'That's just as good as having those Phoenix Tears,' Kazuki thought, remembering the time about the Rating Game against Raiser.
Freed was finally able to move again and succeeded in cutting the energy line from his leg. He stood up and turned towards the witch and his associate in action.
'Jeez. Galilei sure loves those ancient weapons,' Freed huffed as prepare to engage Yuuto again.
Unfortunately for him, he noticed that there were other people and Shizuku slowly moving up behind him, and all glaring at him. There was Kazuki with his Boosted Gear ready, Gen with his Absorption Line ready, Shizuku with her hair down, the two female exorcists with their own Holy Swords out, and the other two devils regrouping.
'Too many of them! I need to get out of here!' Freed thought as Valper loaded another clip and turned his gun on the group of devils and exorcists and the lone Ayakashi instead of the Witch.
Valper fired off several rounds at the devils. The group dodges, only to have the Arch-Bishop shoot Xenovia and Kazuki in their arms.
"Argh!" Xenovia shouted as the bullet her shoulder.
"You Bastard!" Kuesu yelled in anger. "How dare you do that to my fiancée?!"
Kuesu fired another bullet towards the bishop with reddish energy inside.
The aim was low however, which meant that instead of hitting Valper in the stomach, she shot him in the leg.
The reddish energy bullet actually flew through the Arch-Bishop's right leg, taking it off completely!
"AHHH!" the old man shouted.
"Nice shot, Kuesu!" Kazuki cheered.
"Damn you, Devils! Don't think you've won yet!" Freed shouted in anger as he rushed to Galilei's side, tossing a light capsule at the group to cover their escape.
The blast from the capsule was enough to blind them, allowing Freed to carry the old man away.
"You're not getting away, you sh*tty priests!" Kuesu yelled as she was the only one lucky not to get blind and pursued after them.
When the others regained their sight, they were naturally upset that their enemies had vanished.
"Damn it!" Kazuki shouted in frustration.
"FRREEEEEDDD!" Yuuto shouted in frustration as the cowardly priest escaped again.
"Kuesu disappeared too. Can't let her battle alone, you know…" said Shizuku as she took off to find Kuesu.
"Hurry Irina! Let's follow her!" Xenovia hastily ordered and took off where Shizuku left to find Kuesu with Irina and Yuuto in hot pursuit.
"Xenovia, wait!" Kazuki shouted, noticing the blood falling from her shoulder.
"Hold it!" Gen shouted and tried to run after them, only to get tripped.
The remaining three were about to follow them, only to have stopped when they heard familiar voices.
"I can't believe you guys!"
"How troublesome can you be?"
The three Devils turned to look, and to their horror, they saw Student Council President Souna and President Rias along with their queens, Student Council Vice-President Tsubaki and Vice-President Akeno, having emerged from their respective magic circles.
Gen then noticed that back near the trees, Momo and Tsubasa were there as well. Kazuki looked over and saw that the MMM Maid Team, along with Yuna, Rin, Chihaya, and Kuriko were there too! Kazuki cursed to himself as he had a feeling that Himari told everything. However, it was actually Thunder who told the maids and the others what had happened, and by the time Himari and Liz came back, it was too late.
'They followed us!' Gen gasped in horror when he realized how much trouble he's going to get. "Student Council President! I can explain!" he exclaimed in terror at seeing Souna.
"President! Everyone!" Kazuki gasped at seeing President Rias and his friends and maids.
"I've seen everything," said Thunder with a dark expression on her face, with a forced smile. "And being the nice maid I am I've reported all of this to Ms. Gremory, and those two over there told Rias' friend about it."
"Indeed. Now, care to explain?" both Rias and Sona asked to their servants.
"We want to hear it, too…" said Rin, taking out her sword, while Yuna, Chihaya, and Kuriko got their magic ready.
It was clear to Kazuki and Gen that looking at the ticked looks of the girls' faces (except Koneko) made them feel VERY scared and thought that they would surely be punished by them.
The three Devils sat down on a broken pillar before Rias began.
"I promised those two to not interfere with their mission, but I wanted to know the situation, so I had Akeno keep an eye on them. The maids also followed them for good measure. And the next thing I know is that my servants and Gen are assisting them, according to what Thunder told us. Care to explain this?" she asked.
While Kazuki is relieved that Himari didn't tell them, he was still scared and shocked that Thunder found out that quickly, hence to her nickname.
It was then he began talking.
"I wanted to help Yuuto. All alone he would just end up getting killed. So I made a deal with those exorcists to help them in exchange for allowing Yuuto to destroy one of the swords they were looking for. And Student Council President Sona, if you want to punish someone, then punish me. I promised to pay Gen for helping me," said Kazuki.
Sona looked at him, as if she didn't seem to buy it. She suspected that Gen had gotten into this somehow courtesy of Rias' group or the MMM maids, but Kazuki was taking the blame for it.
"Where is Yuuto then?" Rias asked.
"He, Kuesu and Shizuku all went after Valper and Freed with Irina and Xenovia," Kazuki answered. "I'm not sure how well they'll do since Xenovia is injured. Hopefully, one of them will call us if they find something."
"So that's what Himari and Liz have been telling us all this time," said Rias. "But since Yuuto is consumed with revenge, do you really think that he'll actually bother to make a phone call for help?"
Kazuki cursed himself TWICE when that realization hit him. First for them making Himari and Liz tell everything, and the second is that Yuuto would reach his flash point if he found them.
"And Koneko, why did you agree to this?" Rias asked to her emotionless rook.
"I don't want our senior Yuuto to leave us," Koneko answered with a shamed look.
Rias and Akeno looked at her with understanding.
"You do realize that your actions could cause a war, right?" President Rias asked Kazuki directly.
"How?" Kazuki asked. "Freed and Valper are both excommunicated, and neither of them are Fallen Angels. Even if they are working for them, they aren't part of the Grigori."
"Even so, they might still take some measure of slight that will be aimed at you, or even me. But… we can't change what you all did so far. We'll have to…" was all President Rias could say before they all saw Gen crying out in pain.
"Forgive me, Student Council President!" Gen pleaded.
On Sona's hand, there was a rather big magic circle, and started spanking him.
"No. Your punishment is 1000 spanks," she said coolly.
This time, Kazuki didn't feel compelled to take the heat for someone who helped him, but he said it anyway.
"Student Council President, it's me you should punish," Kazuki said to Sona, stopping her mid-way.
"I am punishing Gen for getting involved in a matter like this after you convinced him. He shouldn't be so easily fooled, and yet he was," she said and continued spanking.
Kazuki felt sorry for the Sitri pawn.
"Kazuki, I can understand that you wanted to help your friend when he was in trouble, considering what you did to Yuna, Rin, Chihaya, and Kuriko, but if you had engaged in battle against the Fallen Angels involved in this, you could have been killed and it would have caused a war," Rias explained sternly.
Kazuki understood that. If the Fallen had actually sent their Angels to join in this fight, he would unintentionally start a new war, but then again, there's also the matter of Ayakashi and Demon Hunters. They too, could start a new war due to their own motives.
"I understood, but it wasn't the Fallen I was dealing with. Nor the Ayakashi or the Demon Hunters. Just a genocidal Arch-Bishop and a psychotic kill-happy priest," Kazuki argued.
"Well, who are working for the Fallen?" Kuriko asked. "It could have still caused a war."
"And Thunder, I thank you for letting us know now than later. Himari and Liz are already punished, right Akeno?" Rias asked.
"Fufufu, right Buchou," Akeno giggled sadistically.
** At the 'Dorms' **
Himari and Liz were tied upside at the top of the building, forcing them to look down all the way to the bottom of the city. 121 stories, straight down!
"We're gonna die! I know it!" Liz cried in agony.
"Please shut up, Liz! We're not going to die," Himari said calmly.
"I won't let them do what they just did!" said Kaya, who was clearly angry at what Rias and Akeno did earlier.
"Don't interfere. This is their punishment," said Aya, watching them intensively while Kaya cursed multiple times.
** Back at the abandoned factory **
"I am sorry, President. So, punish me," Kazuki said.
"We'll talk about punishment later," Rias said and captured Kazuki in a tight hug. "You really worry me so much."
"Graah! They're having a warm moment there!" Gen whined as Sona continued to spank him.
"Rias has her way, and this my way," Sona said.
However, Rias' hug was short-lived when she separated herself and Kazuki from Yuna's huge fireball.
"Now, Ms. Gremory, allow us to do the punishing first," said Liera, the leader of the team. "We may be your maids, but sometimes you worry us so much, that punishment is necessary, and we are not forgivable when it comes to that. Girls?"
Azumi, Lee and Stacy all had their guns and ninja stars ready, Iroha got her razor-sharp feather ready, Musubi cracked her knuckles, Tsukumi made a few water gloves, Airi got her scythe, Mahoro got her assault rifle, Hilda got her demon-hand ball in right hand, Shizuka and Tsurara got their weapons ready, the Masked Woman got a few ******s, and Fubuki got her baseball bat covered with nails.
Kazuki didn't even look at Yuna, Rin, Chihaya, and Kuriko, who already got their magic ready.
Kazuki remembered all the things that happened to him back at Aoi Academy, and it was second nature to him. So, would he do all of this again?
Nope.
He simply vanished, leaving the girls behind, and a few minutes later, they were red in the face, and VERY cross!
"AFTER HIM!" yelled Liera, as she and the girls all took hot pursuit at finding Kazuki, who was brave minutes ago, but decided to pull a hat trick on them at the last second.
** At the 'Dorms' **
After a few hours of avoiding them, Kazuki, who quickly healed himself, and the others were finally home and assured him that they would search for Yuuto tomorrow unless he contacts them.
"Kazuki, once this matter is settled, I will punish you," President Rias said.
"I understand, and I'm sorry for doing this behind your back," Kazuki apologized.
Many of the girls and the maids sighed.
'Why is Kazuki so damn adorable?' Rias thought to herself. It made her almost want to forget about punishing him.
Then, Asia came out from the kitchen…wearing only an apron.
"Kazuki, you're back," said Asia with a cute smile.
Not long after, Kazuki's sisters, Tsuyuha, Saori, and Hisae, Kazuki's cousins Yua and Madori, and the Fallen Angels Raynare and Kalawarner came out of the kitchen wearing only aprons too!
[Welcome back, Kazuki!] they all said.
Kazuki almost had a heart attack when he saw them.
"W-Why are you…?" he asked pointing at the aprons.
"My classmate Aika told me that this outfit is the best when it comes to 'bewitching' someone you love," Asia answered cutely.
"We should try it, too!" said Yuna, with Chihaya, Kuriko, and Rin (although by force from Kuriko) agreeing to it, shocking the maids.
"W-Wait! We are the only ones who should be wearing those! Not you guys!" said Liera, blushing.
{What is with this atmosphere?} Thyrus suddenly asked his host.
'Don't ask me. I didn't cause this. At least not intentionally,' Kazuki thought, causing his gauntlet to snicker at him.
"Kazuki, does it not suit me?" Asia asked.
"NO! You look great!" Kazuki said suddenly, causing Asia to hug him.
"Thank you, Kazuki. I'm so happy that you came in my life," she said with her emotions pouring out.
"Asia…"
"Like I've told you before, I don't regret becoming a devil because like the others, you are there for me and care about me," said Asia.
"Of course, Asia," said Kazuki.
"Ahem!" coughed Saori. "Don't forget us, too! You do care about us, right?" she asked, getting closer to Kazuki.
"Yes. Yes I do," Kazuki answered. "I do care about you, and everyone here in this hotel room, because I'm glad I have such great sisters, cousins, and friends like all of you."
Everyone smiled at Kazuki, including Himari and Liz who just got back in, thanks to Kaya's impatience. They quickly saw what the other girls were doing and decided to go into the kitchen as well.
"When we first met, and you saved me, I somehow felt that my life would change forever and now I have so many important people in my life, but you are my most important friend," said Asia.
Kazuki smiled at this, and so did his sisters and his cousins.
Then President and the others all came out with a lot of sexy apron clothing.
"So, Kazuki, what do you think?" President asked, wearing a purple apron with a bright red heart on the chest area.
"Do I look good?" asked Yuna, wearing a shorter white apron, trying to be a little bold.
"And what about me?" asked Kuriko, wearing a plain blue apron, and using her magic to shake her impressive bust at Kazuki.
"I…I hope you like it…" said Rin, blushing madly with her purple hair undone, and draped over her shoulders, wearing a dark-purple apron.
Soon, all the others came out wearing different colored aprons giving Kazuki a good show.
He was speechless when he saw the girls so sexy and alluring. He almost had a nosebleed and a heart attack.
"So…which one of us is the sexiest?" President asked.
This was one of the things that Kazuki DID NOT want to get into.
"I can't decide! You all look incredible!" Kazuki shouted suddenly.
"It should be me!" Yuna said and went to pinch his right cheek while President pinched his left cheek.
"As your master, I order you to tell me that I'm the sexiest," said President.
"YEAH, RIGHT!" said the Shikimori sisters as they pushed President and Yuna out of the way and hugged Kazuki's arm and neck tightly.
"That's not his honest opinion, Buchou!" Chihaya said, and tried to pry one of the sisters' arms off of Kazuki.
"NO! I am thy cutest!" said Himari.
"It's me who is the sexiest!" Raynare and Kalawarner declared and kissed both on Kazuki's cheeks.
The girls all started arguing and demanding Kazuki to say his opinion.
** Later that night **
In the end, Kazuki couldn't decide who was sexier in their naked aprons since they all looked so lovely and provocative. President Rias looked displeased that Kazuki couldn't decide, and he figured that was she had a 'hate to lose' attitude. Unfortunately, same can be said for Yuna, Kuriko, Chihaya, and Himari, just to name a few.
As a result, President punished him for not deciding by making him sleep alone. Some of the girls were disappointed as well, but to Kazuki, this was a worse punishment than trying to decide who was sexier, in that he felt a little bit insecure, because he was used to sleeping with at least two girls with him.
'Man, President is so selfish when it comes to simple matters like this. Then again, Yuna and the others are selfish in their own ways as well. They all should learn that they can't have everything. Even for the wealthiest of people,' Kazuki thought to himself.
He tried to sleep, but it was rather difficult because there was nobody with him, but unfortunately, the punishment didn't end there.
** Next Morning **
Kazuki also had to walk by himself to Kuoh Academy as the others already went ahead. That, and Kaya made him eat cereal for breakfast. If there was any good news to this situation is that he at least got to class (Class 2-A) on time, but not before getting various compliments from the other female classmates from the hall.
** In Class 2-C **
Serena sat down thinking. She hasn't spoken to Keisuke since the aftermath of his fight with Asara yesterday. She knew she shouldn't have acted like that, but she needs to be strict with her servants, but they were also more than that with her. They were her friends. She couldn't bear the thought of losing them. She should be thinking about apologizing to Keisuke when they next met.
Yesterday, Keisuke said that not only he met with the Gremory group, including Kazuki, but he also saw Sanosuke grew a single left wing before he flew off and identified him to be a Fallen Angel. Normally Fallen Angels have two wings or more in accordance with their power, but Sanosuke only grew a single wing. Could that meant that he is really a low-level Fallen Angel? To her, that doesn't seem likely as he was able to take on Stray Devils without breaking a sweat. Then there's Kazuki Shikimori. She heard about incredible magic abilities that he can do. He can do almost the impossible, and even change the world from his own hands.
** At the rooftop **
As Serena was looking at the Old School Building, she got a very unusual sight.
"! That's…" she gasped as hid somewhere.
There she saw the man that Keisuke described earlier: The messy long black hair and golden brown eyes. In fact, that was Sanosuke!
He stood outside on the roof of the school. Looking into view of the whole school, one would say it is an impressive school. On the ground in front of him was the main field where P.E. classes would be taken if they were outside. Going past that, and up a flight of stairs were two tennis courts, fenced up to keep the tennis balls from flying. Ironically, Rias, Sona, Tsubaki, Akeno, Kuriko, and Kalawarner all competed here, and things got a little out of hand. Even past there were a lot of trees, in which between them is the Old School Building.
Kuoh Academy was expected to be a very privileged school just by sight alone.
"You know you don't have to hide. I'm not here on business matters….yet," Sanosuke stated.
Serena was surprised. Had he always known that she was there? She walked outside hesitantly.
"Then what are you doing here?" she asked.
He looked over his shoulder and replied, "You're not going to believe me even if I tell you." He closed his eyes and took in a deep breath. "Coming back here…it feels so different. It's like I've stepped into a different world when I came back."
"Came back?" Serena asked before she slowly walked towards him instinctively.
He turned his head to the mountain just outside the town.
"I was born in a dojo near the mountain," He told her. "My father was an accomplished swordsman, my mother was a Fallen Angel, but she passed away when I was little. My father raised me as a warrior until 4 years ago I left."
Four years ago…that was before she came to the town. "Why the sudden leave?" she asked, as held onto the railings beside him.
Sanosuke looked away. "I don't want to talk about it." His tone seemed more serious from before.
Serena couldn't guess what the problem was but she could tell it must be something bad for him to have a sudden change in his tone. "If you could, would you tell me more?"
He looked into her eyes before closing his own and smirked. "Might as well, I've decided since we're going to be classmates soon, there's no need for unnecessary secrets. But I expect the same courtesy in return." He said before looking to the sky above them.
Serena was at a loss of words. She remembered Sylvia telling her that her childhood friend would be attending this school, and this was the person!
"Since then, I traveled the world, offering my services to whoever was interested. Be it the Church, the Fallen Angels, or the Devils. They hire me, give me a target, and I kill my targets. Devils, Angels, Ghouls, Fallen Angels…" he looked into her eyes. "Even Humans. I didn't care. Just name me a target and tell me the reason, I will do it if I think it's fair. Since then, I've been known as many things, assassin, hit man, hunter, mercenary."
Serena then asked, "So who hired you for the extermination of Stray Devils?"
"Well, believe it or not, it's the leader of the Fallen Angels himself, Azazel. He told me that the wife of Densdria Aim, Millias Aim, called Azazel to let me do the job. I'm sure you would understand the reason., Sanosuke answered simply.
Serena understood, but was shocked at the same time. Sure, it was for simple revenge that she hired Sanosuke to hunt down her husband's former Peerage, but to that by calling Azazel, the leader of the Fallen Angels himself, was beyond a mystery.
"I guess I told you too much," Sanosuke apologized before he bowed. He then rubbed the back of his head. "Now, to live up to your end of the bargain, let's start off simple, why don't you tell me your name?"
Serena swallowed her saliva. "Serena Aves. My real name is Serena Asmoday, of the distinguished Asmoday family," she said proudly.
"So you're the King? I would like to say you are a bit young," Sanosuke smiled.
Serena puffed her cheeks and turned her back to him. "And you are also a bit young for a mercenary who's traveled the world. I'm sorry, but for a world-class hunter you seem to carefree right now for me to take you seriously," she exclaimed with her eyes closed.
She heard him chuckle. Serena was surprised at how nice this atmosphere was between them. She honestly thought there would more animosity between the two of them.
"Does Sylvia know about this?" Serena questioned, changing the subject.
"Sylvia?" Sanosuke repeated. "You know her?" he asked.
Serena nodded. "Yeah. She told me that you were coming, though she didn't tell me your name. I could tell it was you when Keisuke told me about you as well. "
"Honestly…yeah I think she does, but she doesn't want to touch on to it," Sanosuke added.
Serena pondered, "Then that means she knows about the world of Angels and Devils?"
"Why don't you go ask her that?" Sanosuke suggested. "Her secrets are hers alone to share."
"I guess I will then," Serena said back.
A small silence grew over them. They just didn't know what to say to each other as of this moment before Sanosuke stated. "I was surprised that you and your Peerage are commuting here. I'm also very surprised to see Rias Gremory and her Peerage commuting here as well. It makes it easier to find at least one of you or them now. Especially with Kazuki."
"You know him?" Serena asked.
"A little bit, but…" He looked to her, a serious face on him before saying, "I would like to request an alliance."
"Alliance?" Serena repeated, before asking.
"Think about it…your team, Gremory's team and I all have the same orders, just from different people. Mine from the wife of the victim via Azazel, yours from your devil elders, and Rias' from her brother. I'd prefer to end this before it goes out of hand. I don't hold any hostilities for you or any of your people, or for Rias' Peerage for that matter. So don't worry, I won't stab you in the back. That's the last thing I would ever want to do."
Serena thought about this surely, it would highly beneficial if they were to have an alliance. But can she trust him? He does seem to be honest enough to trust him but he could be lying. Before she say anything another voice joined in.
"Hey Sano!" both of them heard. They both turned around to see Sylvia waving at them as she jogged up towards them. "Hey, Serena is here too!"
"Hey Sylvia," Sanosuke greeted.
She whacked his shoulder. "You're mean, you know that? You could've at least let me know that you were coming up here! We could've had lunch together, right Serena?" Sylvia turned to Serena.
Serena waved her hands. "No, it's okay. I was just about to leave anyway. We are having a club meeting at the end of today, so I suggest you should come if you are serious about this. I'll show you the way after class," she told him before she walked away.
"I will," Sanosuke told her. "Besides, there's more than just a Stray Devil extermination in mind."
Serena froze and turned back to Sanosuke.
"I'll tell you more about that when we get there," he said before Serena walked back into the school building.
Even if she was a devil, she's a nice girl. He turned his attention back to Sylvia who had a suspicious look on her face.
"What is this? You knew her already?" Sylvia got really close to his face.
"I only met her a few minutes ago," Sanosuke defended.
"You didn't even see me when you got back and yet you've become good friends with one of my friends. You're cruel, Sano!" Sylvia roared.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry!"
** Inside the building **
"So what do you think of him?"
Serena noticed Xarin at the bottom of the stairway.
"When I felt his presence close to you, I got worried. So you talked to him," Xarin observed.
Serena nodded as she continued walking down the stairs. "I did, Xarin. He has suggested an alliance between us to finish off the Strays."
"An alliance? Princess, do you think that's wise?" Xarin argued. "We can't simply form an alliance with him? What if he turns his back on us?"
"That is why I want him to come to the clubroom after school. To see if he was serious," Serena answered back before she went to class. "Plus, he's going to give us more details."
Xarin squinted his eyes at that last part.
** At another Church elsewhere **
"I have arrived, Lord Kokabiel," said a new feminine voice.
"It's about time!" he roared. "I was getting a little impatient. So, what's the report?"
"First we've lost Jacob and Nina, now we've lost Asara. At this rate Souta and Kokabiel, we will all be killed," said a feminine voice.
"Not if I can help it!" said Souta. "With Kokabiel as our new boss, we'll be fine."
"Exactly, and with more recruits on the way, we shall exterminate them one by one. We will survive this, Savalia!" laughed Kokabiel.
** Outside Class 2-B **
Keisuke picked up his stuff. "Yo, Saya."
"Hey, Kei. We're still going today, right?" she asked. Since yesterday, he did kind of blew her off after seeing Sanosuke.
"Yeah, today's club meeting is going to be a short one. I'll see you then," Keisuke told her.
** At the Old School Building **
"Sorry I'm late!" He noticed everyone was staring at Sanosuke in the middle of the room. He noticed Sanosuke standing in the middle of the room. He noticed Xarin with his Zanbatou by his side, Christie with her nails grown out into claws, Kaoru with her Khakkara in her hands. "Hey guys, what's going on?"
Serena sighed as she answered him, "That what I've been wondering, but they were just adamant on being protective of me." She then shouted to the rest. "Hey, we are not here to fight. Just try and be civilized, please?"
"So King Serena, what is he doing here?" Keisuke asked after he regained a bit of his composure.
"You'll see," Serena smirked before she turned to Sanosuke. "Tell them what you told me today."
Sanosuke nodded. "Young Devils of the Asmoday family. I am here to request an alliance with you until the Stray Devil problem and the other problems are taken of. I understand that many of you don't trust me and I understand. I would've done the same thing but right now we have the same goals. Why don't we work together to achieve it?"
There were murmurs amongst the peerage. Surely what he said was true, but is also dangerous by the fact Sanosuke could back-stab them at any point of time.
"I can vouch for that," Keisuke said. The peerage turned to the silver haired boy.
"What do you mean, Kei?" Christie asked.
"Yesterday, when he, some of the Gremory Peerage and I fought a stray devil together, the Knight Asara, he held no sense of contempt from working with me and them and made a plan for us to beat Asara. I believe this alliance would be a fruitful alliance," Keisuke explained.
"All in favor raise your hand," Serena said. It was a unanimous decision.
"Then it's decided!" Serena held out her hand. "We welcome you, Sanosuke Kiriya. Let's get along!"
Sanosuke smiled and shook her hand.
"Now, what about the other problem?" Kaoru asked.
Sanosuke turned serious in a heartbeat and said, "It's about Kokabiel, one of the leaders of the Grigori. He's planning to destroy this town very soon."
The Expedition Club gasped in shock.
** Later that afternoon **
"I'm back!" Sanosuke said after he slid the door closed at his house. He noticed two boxes stacked up on top of each other by the wall in the entrance. Leaving the questioning to Valshion later, he placed his shoes into the shoe cupboard and was about to walk into the corridor until he saw a familiar face poking out the entrance of the living room. She stood in there in the corridor, her school uniform replaced by a white shirt under a thin blue jacket and black trousers.
"Welcome back, Sano," Sylvia said with a smile. She tossed him an orange juice box.
"Thanks," He replied. "Should I cook for tonight?" he asked Valshion.
"No, it's ok. I'm cooking for tonight! We're having some nice steak tonight!" Valshion before she went into the kitchen.
"Hey Valshion! Whose boxes are those?" Sanosuke asked.
Valshion laughed slightly before replying, "They're yours, silly." Valshion went back to cooking.
Sylvia added, "We went out after school and bought clothes and a few other things for you."
Sanosuke sighed and looked to the both of them. "You know that was not necessary. I'm fine with what I've got."
"Which is why we bought clothes, I'm surprised that you barely have anything!" Sylvia replied before she realized something. "You know, it's been a while since you and I sparred," Sylvia said. "You ready?" Sylvia asked, smirking.
"Huh?" was all he said before she dragged him into the dojo.
** At the dojo **
Both stood quietly inside the main hall of the dojo. Swords in their hand, for Sylvia it was a pure white rapier with a silvery blue circular hilt and handle with no guard, strapped around her waist was a silvery blue scabbard. In Sanosuke's hand was his trusty katana, Kokusen, inside the scabbard. Sylvia was still wearing her same clothes. It might be weird for these two to be fighting with real weapons but they were born into families of warriors; they understood the other's feelings through duels.
'The sword is new…' he noticed before he asked. "Did Aunt Valshion make that for you?"
"Of course, I asked Aunt Valshion to make me a sword," Sylvia said before she gazed into the sheathed sword in Sanosuke's hand. "Kokusen, that sword belonged to your father, didn't it?" she asked. "My mother told me what happened, but she told me to let it be and that you were strong. I had no choice but to believe in her. I'm sorry for not being there for you."
"It's fine," his eyes held some form of sadness; Sylvia could tell. "I left soon after…So you wouldn't have been able to see me back then. Plus I've should've been here anyway."
"Alright, when the coin has reached the floor, the match will start. The match will also be timed so when I blow the whistle, that's the end of the match," Valshion announced. She flipped the coin and watched it somersaulted a hundred times in the air as it came down.
The sound of the coin hitting the floor echoed across the room. The match started.
Sanosuke pulled his sword halfway out, barely blocking the first strike by Sylvia. 'Fast,' he thought. She had certainly no doubt continuously trained hard over the years. No doubt she will be a deadly fighter in the future. He fully unsheathed his sword and came in with a strike to the ribs with his scabbard but she jumped away in time.
Excellent reflexes.
He placed the scabbard by his waist and gripped the sword. He charged.
Both came in at high speeds, blades clashing each time they exchange slashes. Sanosuke parried a slash before he elbowed her chest and came in with a horizontal slash. She jumped back and thrust her sword forward for it to be swiped away by his own sword.
He was on the defensive now, she knew that, she just has to keep on pressing on the offensive and not give him a chance to counter attack.
She did one more thrust against his blade, forcing him backwards.
'Now!' she thought and came in for another thrust.
But she never got the point. With a sudden rebalancing of his center of gravity, she missed. Sanosuke smashed her sword to the ground and came in for the attack.
The whistle blew.
Sanosuke's sword held at her neck.
Sanosuke smiled and let out a breath he didn't know he held in. 'If this had been a quick draw duel, she would have won with her speed, no doubt about that,' he thought.
Sylvia was breathing heavily, no doubt she was not used to fighting this intense before. No doubt, whatever he did over the last four years has made him really strong.
"You've improved," Sanosuke said. "I'm honestly surprised by your skills. Did your father teach you that?"
"Of course. He wanted me to be at my best. But I guess I'm not as strong as I would have hoped for," Sylvia sighed.
Sanosuke patted her head. Sylvia blushed under his touch. "Hey, what are you doing?"
"Let's go eat, I'm starving!" Valshion exclaimed.
** At the mall **
Keisuke was walking towards the shopping center with Saya beside him that evening. Currently, the two were just having a stroll. Since it was almost closing time, not many people were in the shopping center anyway.
** At Sanosuke's house **
The meal that Valshion made was steak with salads on the side. It looked good.
"It's really good, Valshion! Where did you learn to cook like this?" Sylvia asked.
Valshion then held a smug look on her face. "As expected from a genius cook like moi, I've managed to blend the sauce, the texture and taste of the steak with perfection! And it's all thanks to my great Azzie!"
'Figures,' Sanosuke thought. Azazel has proven to be a great leader, in more ways than one. Nowadays, he's researching about Sacred Gears.
They heard the doorbell ring.
"I'll get it!" Sylvia told them.
"Hey Serena, Kaoru and Professor Xarin," Sylvia greeted. "What brings you here?"
When Sanosuke heard the names, he went out of the dining room to the front door.
"Hey Sylvia, I didn't know you were here. I'm just here to talk to Sanosuke for a while since he's thinking of doing a taster session with the Expedition Club," Serena lied slightly, trying to smile honestly. She saw Sanosuke walking up towards the four.
He looked to Sylvia. "I'm sorry Sylvia, but could you let me talk to them alone for a while?" Sanosuke requested. "Let's talk outside."
Sylvia bit her tongue, she wanted to deny it, but if it was about his fights with the Stray Devils then she should just leave it.
"I'm sorry," he whispered. He grabbed a pair of shoes and walked out with Serena, Kaoru and Xarin behind him.
"We've received word on the Stray Peerage's movement that Kokabiel ordered from our familiars," Kaoru reported. Sanosuke turned towards them. "It seems that many of them have begun moving. It's as though they are moving towards the shopping district out in the open."
"I guess that would be the case. With three of their members dead, they're asking for a fight."
"But by walking out into the open, that is just asking for some unwanted attention," Kaoru thought out loud.
** At the mall **
"Thank you for tonight. I know I am taking out your precious time to spend time with me," Saya told him.
Keisuke waved his hand. "It's no biggie. I did cut our arrangement short yesterday due to some urgent business." He suddenly remembered. "Oh yeah, yesterday you wanted to tell me something."
Her ears perked, "Oh that, Kei," she hesitated, "I've been meaning to tell you…" She wanted to sound resolute. "To be honest, I-"
A barrier appeared enclosing the two within the shopping area by the fountain.
"What?! Now?!" Keisuke exclaimed before he felt a sudden presence. He quickly grabbed Saya and jumped out of the way before a massive fireball exploded behind them.
"What the hell just happened?" Saya gasped in surprise as more fireballs erupted behind Keisuke's tracks. Saya kept on screaming as the explosions erupted.
Once he had found a safe spot to land, he said to Saya, "Saya, hide right now!" She complied before he summoned both his spears and looked to the source of the fireballs.
** Outside Sanosuke's house **
Xarin realized, "Unless…" He looked to his master. "Princess, it appears that Kokabiel is after us and the Gremory Team."
The other three gasped.
Sanosuke gave it a quick thought; if that was the case, they need to know who's at where at the moment and alert them. "Serena, who would be at the shopping district right now?"
Kaoru tapped her finger to her chin. "Christie told me she is currently fulfilling a contract."
"Which leaves…Keisuke…where is he?" Xarin asked.
Serena remembered something from earlier today. "He told me he was going out with Saya. Oh no…" she realized. "Keisuke's in danger!"
"I'm going to the district," Sanosuke told them. "If they're going to attack in the open, then we have to counter this."
Xarin nodded. A pinkish magic circle appeared under him. "I'm going there first. Princess, get the young Prince!" he teleported away.
Serena nodded.
"I'm going to go pick up Christie!" Kaoru added, opening her own pink magic circle before disappearing into it.
"I'll see you there," Sanosuke told her. Serena nodded before she disappeared into the magic circle.
Sanosuke ran inside. "Valshion! Sylvia! I'm going out!" he told them before he left the compound.
"Ok, have a safe trip!" Valshion waved.
Sylvia was now worried. For him to leave so suddenly, she could only hope that he was okay.
** At the mall **
"9 against one…can't say I like these odds!" Keisuke cursed. The stray devils are here most likely gunning after him. He looked to the barrier around him, the closest wall would be about 40 meters away. He just needs to break through so that the others can sense that he's in trouble. But can he make it? He needs to be able to be just far enough to throw his spear to break through it. But can he do it? With odds like these….
No choice.
Keisuke sprinted. It was no good as the samurai from before blocked his path and slashed at him. Keisuke blocked the attack but was kicked back in the stomach. He blocked another slash from another angle but he received a slash from behind. He cursed. This was not going to be easy.
** At Sanosuke's house **
Sylvia stood from her seat.
"Sylvia?" Valshion asked as she had the bowl of rice.
"As expected, I'm worried," Sylvia told Valshion. "I'm going to where Sanosuke is!" Sylvia stated before she grabbed her sword and jacket before leaving the compound.
** At the mall **
Keisuke dropped to the floor under him. Blood was trailing down his face and upper body. He was feeling weak from the fighting.
"Looks like he is at his limit," Kojiro hinted with glee. "That'll teach ya to mess with us."
They heard a chuckle. The stray peerage looked to see Keisuke slowly getting up, using his spears to support him.
"You seem to be having fun for someone dying," Souta said, unimpressed. "Tell us, what so funny?"
Still on his knees, Keisuke held out his left spear and stabbed it through the air behind, revealing it to be the barrier wall as it broke down around the fighters.
Souta cursed, "Take him down!" But before anyone could do anything, a sudden burst of wind and lightning came in their way. Souta created a barrier around the peerage to protect themselves.
When he dispersed the barrier, he saw the young man's reinforcements had arrived.
"Hey, what took you guys so long?" Keisuke joked as Xarin picked the young man up. Kaoru went to heal his wounds as quickly as possible.
"Sorry about that, kid…" Xarin scratched his head as he smiled.
"Thank the Maous you're alright," Serena smiled before she looked to the rest of her peerage and Sanosuke. "Everyone! Eliminate every stray devil you see before you!"
[Roger!] The peerage replied.
"I'll take you all on!" The pawn with the two sickles roared.
Sanosuke summoned Kokusen before he started running towards the pawn with the two sickles. But before he could reach the pawn, he felt a sudden presence and swung his scabbard to the right, barely blocking the sword of the Knight, Kojiro.
"Finally, a worthy swordsman!" Kojiro grinned before he jumped back. "I will take your life here." He charged, but a stream of black light blocked his way.
Sanosuke and Kojiro turned to the source of the lighting to see Keisuke carrying his spears. "Don't forget you and I have a score to settle," he smirked.
"Ah yes, the Pawn," Kojiro frowned. "We do have that duel to finish."
Sanosuke was surprised. "Hey, you're still injured; at least sit this one out!"
"I don't care. I'm gonna kick his ass for dragging Saya into this!" Keisuke said. Sanosuke noticed the fierce determination in the silver haired boy's eyes. He sighed; he knew he wouldn't be able to stop him.
"You have my thanks," Sanosuke continued running towards the pawn. 'Certainly, you are an interesting warrior, Keisuke Ryuudou,' Sanosuke thought. 'I wonder how Kazuki would be as a pawn himself…'
Kojiro watched the black swordsman running away. "You know you're beginning to annoy me," Kojiro said in a more serious tone before turning his head at Keisuke.
Keisuke smirked, "I was beginning to say the same thing."
In a blink of an eye, their weapons clashed.
Sanosuke threw a downward slash onto the two sickles wielding pawn who blocked the blade with ease.
"Krato is my name, murder and death are my game," The pawn introduced himself. "What's yours?" he asked murderously.
"I'm sorry, I'm not one for limericks or rhymes," Sanosuke before the two attacked each other.
** At another part of the mall **
Souta pointed at the remaining members of the Peerage. "See there, Kilboar? There is your prey. I want you to take their heads," Souta ordered before the Minataur roared. The Minataur charged at the group of students and raised its axe-sword for a downward slash.
Xarin blocked took the full weight of the attack with his zanbatou. "I guess fighting another Rook would be a good exercise." He pushed the giant axe-sword off. "Let's play a game: Bull-Fighting!" Xarin joked before he came in with a downward slash.
Souta blew away the needles that Christie threw at him. Souta jumped back away from the swiped from her to see that the buxom red head's nails were replaced by claws and were reinforced with metal.
"Now let's not play cat and mouse tonight," she said in a teasing voice.
Souta chuckled. "You would honestly believe that I would lose to a cow with sharp nails?! Don't play with me!"
"Now, you're just asking for a spanking!" Christie roared before she charged.
Kaoru jumped backwards from the punch of the Rook's fist.
"Certainly, this man's defense and power is on par with a Queen's," Kaoru commented as she continued. Kaoru threw a gust of wind at the man but he, Zhang Yue, created a pillar of rock between him and the wind through a magic circle on the ground. Kaoru grew her wings and held her Khakkara high. She lit the Khakkara ablaze as she roared.
Serena noticed that she was surrounded by the two pawns.
"Hey, I've never have sex with a high class devil before. If we beat her down here, can I f**k her?" asked one of them to the only female member.
'How vulgar,' Serena thought. "Like you can touch me! Vulgar Strays!" she spat out.
"Ooh, a bit of spunk! I like that in a girl," The same Pawn said again.
Serena is losing her patience with that Devil.
"Get your head in the game! Just kill her!" the girl said before both of them charged.
Serena spread her arms out, her shadow spread out from beneath her. She raised her right arm, the mass of darkness under her create a spike from the ground that blocked the attack. And she did the same for the next attack, before any of the devils realized their legs were caught by the darkness like quicksand. Serena swung her left hand and a blade of darkness appeared.
"Serena! Look out!"
Serena jumped when she heard the voice and turned around to see someone wielding a sickle-sword coming at her. She was about to make a barrier but she then saw someone with blond hair appearing between her and the curly brown haired Pawn, blocking the attack. The person was female, wearing a simple dark green jacket, white tanked top and a pair of blue jeans. She held a white and silver-blue rapier in her hand. The female intruder looked over her shoulder, revealing who she was.
"Sylvia!" Serena gasped.
"Don't get distracted!" Sylvia snapped. Sylvia threw the sword off her and aimed for thrust at the Pawn. The pawn dodged to the right.
'What is she doing here?' Serena wondered. 'Why would she be here?'
** At another part of the mall **
Sanosuke swung a sickle away before he gripped the other sickle with his free hand. He kicked the pawn away before throwing the sickle away. He charged energy into his sword before he came for the finisher.
But a pair of sickles blocked his attack.
Sanosuke looked to see another Krato blocking his attack. This Krato pushed his sword away before punching him in the face. This Krato came in for another attack but Sanosuke was quick to recover and kicked him away. He went to slash at the original Krato but a second clone blocked him again before Sanosuke was kicked away by the third clone that appeared.
Sanosuke landed and took a quick look to assess the situation. "This is the Sacred Gear, Multi Trick."
"How right you are, little bird. Right now, a group of men as strong as moi," Krato told him arrogantly. "There is now way you can beat us." The four Kratos dashed towards him.
Sanosuke blocked the first strike and kicked the first Krato away as he kicked him in the sternum that left him moving backwards. With a straight slash, the Kokusen was knocked away from Sanosuke's grip. He cursed at this before he saw Krato delivering a sidekick to Sanosuke's chest. Sanosuke blocked the kick with his arms but the force sent him flying, with him landing at a distance away from Krato and his clones. He found him leaning on one knee.
"You see. Now that I've released my Sacred Gear, you are nothing! You will understand that you are nothing but a slice away to your doom," Krato gloated.
Multi Trick…what a pain of a Sacred Gear to have. No matter how many of his clones he cuts down, others will take its place. Sanosuke smirked.
Krato saw this. "Oh…Why are you smiling? Or is it you've gone mad from the hopelessness of your situation?"
Sanosuke stood up, "No…" He looked up to face his opponent. "There's a saying, 'He who laughs first, dies first.'"
"Kill him," Krato ordered, unimpressed.
The clones then began charging at the sword-less swordsman. The closest clone was about to slash Sanosuke, but no one noticed the dim lights in his palms.
What happened next surprised Krato. He didn't expect the nuisance to quickly counterattack. Hell, he didn't expect one of his clones to be sliced away by another sword.
In Sanosuke's hands were a white bladed falchion and a black bladed falchion in his right and left hands respectively. In his hands were the Song Between Two Lovers, White-Black.
Sanosuke saw the same clone coming back at him, but he spread his wing and jumped back, firing two shots into the head of the clone before it burst in flames.
He charged, making his way to Krato. He blocked the attack of the first clone that came his way, slicing him across the stomach. He ducked under the attack of the next clone before coming up and aiming his slash through the neck. He roundhouse-kicked the blade of the clone after and cut across the devil's chest.
He looked around to see that Krato had regenerated his three clones beside him. After a quick breath, Sanosuke charged at the clones. He'll finish this in one go. He pushed away a slash from the left before he spun with one slash. He threw both swords at them, slicing a limb from the first two clones. He created another pair of falchions and threw them again to distract them. He created a third pair of swords, this time the swords were a pair of broadswords and dashed forward slicing the first three clones in half with ease. He leaped towards the real body and slashed downwards, creating an x-mark on the chest of pawn. The pawn then screamed in pain as he fell to the floor.
Krato saw Sanosuke standing over him with a shortsword and his katana in his hands. Krato screamed, "Just what is this?! Holy power?!"
Sanosuke said nothing as he raised the shortsword before plunging it into Krato's chest, ending the pawn's life.

Keisuke blocked a slash from Kojiro and kicked him away. He was about to aim a thrust at Kojiro's head but the samurai pushed the spear aside with his sword, though Kojiro didn't had enough time to react for the second spear as it cut diagonally across the Stray Knight's chest. Keisuke elbowed Kojiro's stomach, forcing the man back.
Kojiro held his wound in pain and cursed, 'For an injured guy, he's faring better than I thought he would. I can't do much with this wound.' With one hand, Kojiro swung his sword but Keisuke parried the weakened swing and brought both spears up for the finishing blow.
"This is it!" Keisuke roared. He slashed downwards onto Kojiro, but both spears were blocked by a scythe. Keisuke saw a young man with messy dark green hair, fair skin and yellow eyes wearing a long black hooded rob on him.
"Joe!" Kojiro addressed the pawn.
Joe pushed Keisuke off before saying, "Kojiro! Get out of here while you can!" Kojiro nodded before he teleported away.
"Get out of my way!" Keisuke growled before he slashed at the pawn who blocked the attack.
** At another part of the mall **
Sylvia reached under her jacket and pulled a golden handle. The Stray Devil swung his sword, but she effortlessly ducked under the swing the sickle sword's blade. She then aimed the golden handle straight into the stomach of the pawn and activated the blade.
The pawn roared in the intense, deadly pain. "A sword of light? Impossible!" he roared, struggling for words. He felt his body burning away by the burning poison.
She light kicked blade deeper into the Devil, leaving the sword of light inside his body.
"I was raised by the church! Of course, I would carry a holy sword!" Sylvia explained. She took one last look at her enemy before walking away.
"Damn you, damn all of you in hell!" the pawn cursed as the burn intensified further. Before he knew it, his body had disintegrated.
** At another part of the mall **
Keisuke took the full weight of the pawn's attack. The two locked weapons before Keisuke pushed the weapon away and punched the pawn in the face. Keisuke then came in with a stream of slashes with his spears before he went higher and flew down. Using his momentum, he kicked the pawn, hurdling down to the ground.
The pawn had no time to react as he saw Keisuke charging down on him with one of the spears piercing through the torso. Keisuke pulled out his spear and began walking away from the dying pawn, there's still that sh*tty samurai to take care of.
"Before I die…" he heard the pawn whisper. "…I'm going to take you with me." He held out his left arm and shot a fireball from his palm.
On instinct, Keisuke rolled away from the attack. He heard a sudden scream. He then turned around and saw that the fireball was making its way towards Saya who stood there in shock.
"Saya!" Keisuke shouted. 'Damn it, what is she doing here?'
He needed to get to her now.
Saya instinctively tried to protect herself, but she knew that would be futile. She thought of one thing, 'Someone help me!' A flash of light shone between Saya and the fireball. The fireball itself was engulfed in the light.
Everyone was surprised when they saw the light dying out. Pink sakura petals that were glowing were flying around her protectively. The sakura petals absorbed the fireball, leaving Saya unscathed.
"No way…" Keisuke gasped. He wasn't the only one surprised, everyone in his team including Sylvia were surprised.
Souta was surprised too, but he came up with an idea. Since his plans have gone awry, he might as well use a contingency plan to escape back to Kokabiel. He turned to Christie and opened a green magic with blew gusts of wind which forced Christie to cover herself. When she recovered, she noticed the bishop was gone.
Serena's eyes went wide. "She has a Sacred Gear?"
Saya opened her eyes and gasped too. "What is this?" she asked out loud, hoping for something that made sense to her but before anyone could say anything, she felt a blow in her stomach. She lost consciousness.
"Saya!" Keisuke called.
Souta held her under his arm. "I'm honestly surprised, to think that this girl possesses a Sacred Gear."
Keisuke was furious. "You bastard, give her back! She has nothing to do with this!" he roared.
"We will be using her as a little insurance for our boss' plan," Souta countered. "Plus this girl is a Sacred Gear user, she'll be bound to cross paths with us sooner or later. No use in trying to delay the inevitable."
Zhang Yue jumped beside Souta while carrying Joe. "We're wasting time here, let us retreat everyone!"
"Then let us meet in the Academy you attend for our final battle!" Souta announced.
A short silence overlapped the halted battle.
A declaration to end this pointless battle, a chance to finish this; in spite of this Keisuke roared. "If that's what you want! Then let her go! Let Saya go!"
"That's right! If you really want to end this, then why take someone who has got nothing to do with this?!" Sylvia added. She too was cross.
"What pointless arguments! As I had said before, she is just our insurance for a clear passage out of this fight, and an addition to our boss' plan," Souta answered, his temper rising at the constant annoyance of this group.
Keisuke was now vivid as he began stepping forward. "Why you! When I get my hands on you I'm going tear you limbs one by- OW!" He grabbed his wounded shoulder before he looked to see who punched him. "Hey! Don't interrupt me when I'm making a threat."
Sanosuke sighed before he said, "Right now, we can't do anything as long as they have her in their grasp."
"That's why we're going to save her right now-OW!" Sanosuke had just punched his wounded shoulder again. "Will you stop doing that!?"
"Then calm down! Have you considered the possibility of the dangers you're going to put her through if you continue to act like this!?" He then looked to Sylvia who was acting the same as Keisuke and shook his head, signaling her to not do the same. He turned to Serena who nodded, agreeing to what Sanosuke had said.
"We'll let you go… for now," Serena said. Keisuke was surprised by his master's decision.
"Then we shall go," Souta nodded. "Oh, and our boss Kokabiel has a few tricks of his own, including the Holy Sword Excalibur," he added.
Everyone gasped.
"You wouldn't dare!" Sanosuke added. "If you hurt her…you're going to wish you had died right now. And so would Kokabiel! And I keep my promises."
Zhang Yue smirked, "I'm sure you do, tough guy."
"We will see you in school," Souta stated before a large magic circle teleported the Stray devils and Saya away.
"King Serena! Are we just going to let them go?" Keisuke aggressively asked his master.
Serena looked to Keisuke with a stern look on her face. "Keisuke, please calm down."
"How can I-" She slapped him in the face.
"You're getting way too emotional!" Serena scolded. "I know that Saya is your friend, but she's also our friend too. We're just as worried about her as you are!"
"Then…we need to plan our next attack, and fast!" Sanosuke looked to the group. "If what Souta said is true, then this town would be destroyed in no time!"
** At the Occult Research Club **
"We're going to use our familiars?" Kazuki asked as Himari was next to him with her sword.
President had her familiar, the bat-like Shiruku, on her desk in front of her.
Kalawarner and her black snake, a female she called Keita, coiled up around her neck.
Raynare and her raven, in which she called Kuroi, was sitting on her shoulder. She was sad that couldn't use her familiar during the Rating Game against Raiser, but Kuroi had been ill when Raynare found her. Taking pity on the poor black bird, Raynare took her in and used both magic and Phoenix Tears she had gotten from to heal her.
Akeno had her green mini-demon, Didimon in her lap.
Koneko with her white kitten, Shiro, was on Kazuki's head, sat opposite of Asia, in which she had her baby sprite dragon, Ratuki, in her lap as she sat on the other side of Kazuki.
Yuna and Chihaya were sitting between Kazuki while Rin and Kuriko were behind them standing. Elizabeth, the white ghost girl also came out to look. She hasn't gotten out for a while, so she decided to come to get some fresh air.
"We're going to send our familiars out to search for Yuuto, Xenovia, Irina, Shizuku, or Kuesu. We've been brought into this fight, so we might as well finish it," President said. "Akeno, you and I will use our magic to make them invisible to everyone's sights and senses. And then we'll send them off to locate our wayward knight, the 2 girls, and the 2 church affiliates."
"Leave that to me!" said Elizabeth. "As a ghost, I can do all of that in my sleep!"
"Better trust her on this one," said Kuriko.
"Very well. I leave it to you, Elizabeth," said President.
"OK! Everyone, follow me!" said Elizabeth as she turned the familiars invisible and proceeded out the building through a wall.
"So…what do we now?" Asia asked.
"Now…we wait," President answered.
** At Sanosuke's house **
Valshion sighed as she waited in the house alone. After Sylvia ran after Sanosuke, she basically finished washing up and sat in the living room drinking tea.
"Hey I didn't know you guys would be back so early," Valshion said before she noticed that Sanosuke and Sylvia weren't alone as they had six people behind them, three of them she already saw earlier today. "And you brought company," she added.
Sylvia bowed apologetically. "Sorry Aunt Valshion! We have a big problem and we are just trying to figure it out."
Valshion was surprised by the sudden events. "Oh…um…Then please come in and explain the situation to me."
Serena stepped forward. "Hello there, my name is Serena of the House of Asmoday and thank you for your hospitality," Serena bowed.
After explaining the situation to Valshion, in which she already knew about the Kokabiel part, the group managed to discuss a way for them to save Saya.
"And that's that," Serena concluded the discussion. "Are there any objections?" Serena asked around.
Sanosuke turned to Sylvia. "Sylvia, I think it should be better for you to stay here," Sanosuke said. He had hoped that Sylvia wouldn't be involved in this.
Sylvia, however was rebellious to this. "Yeah right, I'm not going to let you guys do this alone. I am part of this as much as the others are! Besides, they've taken my friend too, you know!"
Sanosuke was taken back by this reaction; honestly he had hoped that she didn't take part in this fight what so ever but he can't deny her request then.
"Fine, but you would have to do this under my terms," Sanosuke said sternly.
Valshion thought it was time for her to speak. "Then let me join you."
This time the whole group, minus Valshion, were surprised.
"Are you sure?" Sylvia asked.
Valshion nodded. "If I'm there with you, then the chances of saving the girl would be higher. Plus, I know Kokabiel very well, and he is definitely not to be taken lightly as he is a handful alone so let an adult help you!" Valshion winked and gave them a thumbs up.
"Now she says she an adult…" Sanosuke said under his breath, but happy that Valshion is joining in.
** A few minutes later **
Kaoru and Keisuke were left in the kitchen after the meeting. Everyone else was busy with preparations for the upcoming battle. Christie was drinking tea in the living room, Xarin was meditating inside the dojo, Sylvia was with Valshion as the two were busy with fixing up Sylvia's sword, and Serena had gone looking for Sanosuke who seemed to be practicing something, leaving Kaoru busy with healing Keisuke for the upcoming battle.
As she continued to heal Keisuke, she noticed how quiet the silver haired Pawn was. "What's on your mind, my junior?" Kaoru asked but he was still quiet. "Keisuke?" she asked again, this time he reacted to her call.
"What is it, President Kaoru?" he asked.
Kaoru sighed. She could only guess that sometimes boys have selective hearing. "I was just asking what was on your mind, that's all."
"Oh," Keisuke replied before he added. "I was just wondering if what King Serena is doing right now is right?"
"You're still worried about your friend, Saya Nanase?" Keisuke nodded. Kaoru stopped healing Keisuke. When Keisuke turned to Kaoru, she placed a hand on his head and patted it. Keisuke couldn't help but blush. "I guess since you've joined the Peerage the latest, you don't really understand Serena yet," Kaoru said, smiling. "Serena is a woman who wants to do the right thing when possible and for her that is protecting those she cares for and the things important to her. That's why she slapped you, to show you that she cared."
Keisuke kept quiet because he knew it was true. She was doing all she can to protect them as she continued to lead them. It was as she said to him when they first met. 'I will seal your sadness away.'
"I'm sure it's the same for Sanosuke. He may not show, but I'm sure that he would try and work out the best way without losing anyone," Kaoru added. "And it also goes for Kazuki, whoever he is."
It's true, or else he wouldn't have asked for an alliance. Keisuke smiled. Kaoru always seemed to know how to cheer people up. Keisuke stood up from his seat and turned to Kaoru. He pointed his fist at Kaoru.
"Then, let's save Saya!"
** At the Occult Research Club **
President Rias were discussing on how they were going to defeat Kokabiel and his army, and at the same time, couldn't help but worry about Yuuto and the others.
Raynare and Kalawarner were not liking this situation at all, because like Valshion, they knew Kokabiel personally and what he was capable of. They were terrified of him and didn't hold him in a high regard like their adored boss Azazel.
President received a message from Himari. 'Irina has been found!'
"Himari has found Irina!" President shouted to the others and went to activate a portal that would transport her to Himari's location.
** Somewhere around the forest **
The Gremory group exited the portal and saw that they were on the forest path overlooking the city. Kazuki was the first to notice Irina being held by Himari.
"Irina!" Kazuki shouted and ran to her, noticing how her clothes have been shredded, revealing her beautiful body that he noticed after stopping. "Asia!"
"Yes!" she replied and ran to the exorcist to begin healing her.
They all watched Asia do her magic and when Irina opened her eyes, she saw Kazuki first.
"Kazuki?" she gasped.
"We're here Irina," said Yuna.
"What happened?" President asked the exorcist.
"We were ambushed by the Stray Devils and someone powerful. I told the others to escape," Irina explained in pain.
"Don't speak," Rin ordered the girl.
"Be careful. Their powers are all not to be taken lightly," said Irina before passing out again.
Just then, another magic circle appeared, and this time, it was Sona Sitri and her entire peerage behind her.
"So you came Sona," Rias started.
"The message you sent didn't give me any other choice," Sona said looking at Irina. "She has exhausted her strength."
"Twilight Healing can't recover stamina. It can only heal injuries and sickness," Asia explained.
"Tsubaki, take her to my place and heal her with the equipment," Sona ordered her queen.
Tsubaki nodded and picked up Kazuki's childhood friend and teleported to Sona's place at Kuou while the Gremory Peerage's familiars all went back to their pocket dimensions, minus Himari.
"What is going on?" Gen asked.
"We've just arrived, so we have no idea either. Xenovia, Yuuto, Shizuku and Kuesu aren't here, so they may be alright," Rin answered.
"Sorry for everything before Gen," said Kazuki suddenly.
"Don't worry about that now. Right now we…" was all Gen could say before he and the others suddenly felt a sharp stab on their chests.
"What the heck?!" Kazuki gasped.
"Some kind of…holy aura," Rias explained as she gasped.
"Well, hello there!" a familiar maniacal voice said from behind.
"Look!" said Yuna, as they all saw Freed standing before them.
"All of my prey is here in one place, including 2 betrayed Fallen Angels and Asia who has become a s***ty demon," Freed said with his usual insane face.
"FREED!" Kazuki yelled in hatred as he summoned his Boosted Gear. He was careful not to unleash the 10 Commandments Swords yet.
However, Rias, Sona, Yuna, Rin, Kuriko, and Chihaya all beat him to it and almost launched their magic at him when he suddenly held up his hands.
"Wait! My boss has something to tell you," said Freed.
"And what is that?" Rias asked.
"He wants to say it personally," Freed answered and looked up.
The rest all looked to see the sky turn purple, like in the Underworld, and a Fallen Angel with 5 pairs of wings appeared in their vision.
He had the appearance of a young man with long black hair, pointy ears and bright red eyes. He was dressed in black robes with detailed accessories, gold lining on his coat, black boots on his feet and his fingernails were filed down to sharp points.
Everyone almost gasped at the sight of him. Raynare and Kalawarner knew who he was.
"We finally meet, Rias Gremory and Sona Sitri," the 10-winged Fallen Angel said to the 2 heiresses.
"And you must be Kokabiel, the one behind everything that has happened these past days. So, why did you come to meet us in person?" Rias asked.
"The reason why I came to meet you personally is to tell you that your headquarters at Kuoh Academy will be the center of my plan," Kokabiel answered.
"Our school?!" Sona gasped.
"Indeed. If you two are eliminated, then your demon king siblings have to take action," Kokabiel replied.
"You want to start another war?!" Rias concluded. "Why?"
"The Fallen Angels would have won if Azazel hadn't ordered us to retreat, and now we are in an uneasy truce, which bores me. I thought that things would get more interesting if I stole the Holy Swords, and that includes you, Kazuki Shikimori!" he stated, pointing at Kazuki.
Kazuki could only look at Kokabiel in anger, and then Kokabiel turned to Raynare and Kalawarner.
"Raynare, I thought that you and your friends had died in their hands. What are you doing with them and not with me?"
"Enough, Lord Kokabiel! You lied to us!" said Raynare as she and Kalawarner got their wings out.
"No matter," said Kokabiel. "You are such traitors to your own kind. I'll deal with you after I deal with the others. I also thought that Michael would start a War if I stole the Excaliburs, but what he sent were grunt Exorcists and two holy-sword wielders. It's boring. I'm really bored indeed. That's why I'm going to rampage Sirzechs' sister's base, see?"
"This guy is a total war freak," said Chihaya.
"That craziness makes him the best. In fact, he even gave me these wonderful presents!" Freed added and opened his jacket to reveal 4 Excalibur swords.
"The stolen Excaliburs!" Gen said.
"Hyahahaha! That's right! The one on the right is Excalibur Rapidly. The one on the left is Excalibur Nightmare. The one on my hip is Excalibur Transparent. My friends also have given me Excalibur Mimic from the girl over there! I also feel like getting Excalibur Destruction that the other girl has. Hyaa! Am I the first person in the World to be in possession of this many Excaliburs?!" Freed said in a confident tone.
Freed then noticed Himari.
"Hyahahahahahaha! So the rumors are true! You must be the famous cat demon, Himari Noihara! I can't wait to fight you with my Excaliburs!" said Freed, getting more and more excited. "Or rather, my friends can't wait to fight you!"
"What do you mean?" asked Himari.
"You'll see! Come on in, guys!" Freed said and snapped his fingers.
The group then saw two more figures appearing. The group then sees Himari fueling with rage as her battle aura began to grow, and for good reason. She saw these 2 figures before.
In fact, they were Ayakashi; the same ones that destroyed her homeland!
The first figure appeared to be a 16-year-old girl. She has brown shoulder length hair, green eyes, and wore a red beret hat. The rest of her attire consisted that of a miko priestess. White kimono and red hakama pants. Besides the outfit she had the looks of a delinquent, almost like she's going to pick on little kids in the park or bully the high school nerd, and in this case, killing devils with no remorse. Despite that, she was pretty looking. That is, if one could get past the outside evil-looking part, and see what's on the inside.
This is the Hinoema known as Ageha.
The second figure appeared to be the same age, but looked more like a toddler. She has platinum pink hair with a large bang covering her right eye. Her left eye was revealed and was a light yellowish color. She wore white kimono with a red obi sash. Also, she wore some sandals. She seemed to be carefree and childish, and admires beautiful things in life and has the looks of a 6th grade child. Today, however, she's got an "Warlike Adrenaline Rush" look on her mind. She wasn't very tall, but she could reach Ageha's assets in height of course.
This is the Ippon Datara known as Sasa.
"AGEHA!" Himari roared.
"We meet again, Himari Noihara," said Ageha with an evil look on her face. "And I see that you and Kaya managed to escape while we destroyed your precious house."
The others gasped, and the surprises weren't over.
"Boss! We're here as well!"
The 2 groups heard another voice, and there were the remaining members of the Stray Devil Peerage: Savalia the Queen, the 2 bishops Souta and Amanda, Kojiro the knight, the two rooks Zhang Yue and Kilboar, and the 6 remaining Pawns Joe, Ivan, Kisara, Diana, Xander and Dean.
"What took you so long?!" Kokabiel asked.
"Sorry, we've had a few bumps in the road, including those 2 Exorcists," said Souta. "Freed, you got the Excalibur that the girl had?"
"Right here, dude!" Freed answered and made the rope he had on his arm morph into a katana that Irina had used.
"You are…" said Rias.
"We are the remaining Stray Devils that killed our master, Dendsria Aim," said Savalia. "He was too weak for a King, and when we heard that Kokabiel was going to use the Excaliburs to destroy this town, we couldn't help but join his plan!"
"How dare you kill your own master!" Sona said crossly.
"Well, we don't care," said Diana. "Humans should learn on how to fear us Devils and very strong people like our new boss."
The group all glared at the Stray Devils, not believing that they are in Kokabiel's plan for pure blood.
But that's STILL not all!
"So, these are the ones that you've told us about?" said another new voice.
Freed knew who that was.
"Hyahahahahaha! If you guys thought that Kokabiel was a battle freak, there are MORE battle freaks of ours on the way!" laughed Freed. "And here they are!"
These 7 people coming out are as deadly as Kokabiel. If not, more. The first is a man of average height with pale skins and also has some body piercings. His clothes are always the same shirt, trousers, belt and watch. He has red eyes. His hair is has a brown color and is short and spiky. He also has some V-bangs.
He is a mercenary leader and has an extreme bloodlust when entering any battle ahead of him. He is shown to be sadistic and merciless against his opponents. He is none other than Gyobu Shakadou.
Behind him are 4 siblings. First, the eldest one has short purple hair, with a bang covering her left eye. She has feathers on her attire, along with dark blue clothing only covering her arms and stomach and has a white shirt underneath. She has shown to have a ruthless attitude. She's Ami Itagaki.
Next is the second eldest daughter with long blue hair, and a very good bust size. She is often seen with her eyes closed which usually indicates she is sleeping or in a good mood, though she does rarely open them when exceptionally happy or enraged. Her eyes are deep green when opened. She is also known to have incredible strength, which makes capable of ripping street signs with one arm. Like her siblings, she has high stamina and durability, making her able to take almost any blow and get right back up without any discernible pain or difficulty. She's known as Tatsuko Itagaki.
Next one is Tatsuko's twin brother. He's known to have an evil smile most of the time and has sunglasses on the top of his head, and wears a sleeveless black shirt and black pants and has a lot of tattoos on his left side. He may be strong, but the weirdest part about him is that he likes butts and guys (Shudders). However, he is shown to lead a group of delinquents with powerful firearms. He is Ryuhei Itagaki.
And the last one is the youngest, with red hair tied in twintails and has a fang tooth sticking out. She is known to be strong and very fast, and like Tatsuko, she smiles most of the time, but she has a strong tsundere personality, and at worst, she can be ruthless like Ami. She's Angel Itagaki.
The final two are the ones that made Kuriko's heart miss a beat or two. First is a young woman with long grey hair and has a bang covering her right eye. Kuriko heard rumors that she was dead, but she was surprised to her alive, but she's now half-human, half-cyborg! As she has an impressive bust, she has two cyborg arms that are powerful, and can also wield up to 2 submachine guns! In fact, she was known to be one of the strongest humans in the world: Takae Tachibana!
And her subordinate is a young girl with short purple hair and a white patch covering her left eye. That left eye is actually a "Smart Eye", giving her details about her opponents, their strengths and weaknesses, as well as their fears. She wears a gothic Lolita fashion, in which Raynare and Kalawarner reminds them of their Fallen comrade Mittlet. She is in a lesbian relationship with Takae: Saki Minori.
"Takae…" said Kuriko. "Why?"
"Sorry, Kuriko," began Takae. "But I believe that this is all for the greater good. A War is my lifelong dream all this time, and I'm glad it's about to come true."
"You know her?" asked Rin.
"Yes," said Kuriko. "Takae used to be a good friend of mine. She was great in magic next to my family as she was very strong and powerful, but for reasons unknown, she was sent to the military, and we've lost contact since. I've heard word that she was dead, but I didn't know that they would resurrect her by the grace of God."
The Devils winced at the word 'God', forcing Kuriko to apologize.
"Ha! Don't say the name of the hateful God that I hate, you b*tch!" said Freed.
"And it's thanks to them and me!" said Saki. "Now, we're going to get more than what we've bargained for!"
THUMP!
The group all looked to see Rias shaking in fear for the very first time.
"It…It can't be…" said Rias, looking at Shakadou, up close and personal.
They were surprised to see Rias looking scared at seeing Shakadou as his battle aura was almost unbelievable. The others could see that as well. After all, he and the Itagaki siblings all came from a very famous town known for it's strongest fighters in the world: Kawakami City.
'2 Battle Freaks…' thought Rias. 'How are we going to win?'
"And look at who we got!" said Souta as he held Saya, Keisuke's friend in his arms.
The 2 Devil groups were stunned at seeing one of their students being kidnapped.
"How dare you take a young human hostage!" said Rias, who was now very cross.
"That's right!" said Kokabiel. "With these guys on my side, and this girl with a Sacred Gear, this win is almost laughable! But enough talk! Let's start this war right now!"
"I'll take the opening command!" said Ageha. "Sasa, do it!"
"Yes!" said Sasa as she opened her arms.
Himari could see something up in the sky and heading straight towards them!
"Take cover!" Himari as the rest scrambled out of the way.
However, they've fallen for Sasa's trap as they were now trapped between 10 Giant Pillars all around them. They also didn't know that inside the pillars are filled with Holy-Powered Explosives!
Kokabiel created several light spears from a seal he created, launching them in all directions at the pillars.
Once the spears made contact with the pillars, they all exploded, creating a huge wall of flames up in the sky that can be seen for miles.
The devils could feel the intense heat and pain from the flames immediately! Yuna, Rin, Chihaya, Kuriko, and Kazuki were getting it as well, as they all became weaker and weaker by the flames.
"What…is…this…power?" Rias asked before slouching down to the ground.
However, they were saved when a huge blast of water spilled all over the flames, cooling them down a bit, but not fully extinguished.
"Chihaya!" called a voice. "Use your freeze power, you know!"
"O-OK!" Chihaya hesitantly responded as she began to use her freeze magic, not knowing what will happen. To her surprise, the flames have been turned to icicles, and Kazuki quickly summoned his Eisenmeteor sword to break the ice.
Everyone felt relieved as the flames vanished, and they were surprised to see…
"Shizuku! Kuesu!" Rias said.
Shizuku and Kuesu coming to their rescue and at the right place, at the right time.
"We're so glad you're safe," said Kazuki.
"And I'm glad you're not toast," replied Kuesu, chuckling at her own pun. "But I've saw that huge Fallen Angel and he was pretty weird."
When the dust cleared, they all noticed that Kokabiel and his army were long gone!
"Where did they go?" one of the knights of the Sitri clan, Tomoe Meguri asked.
Koneko and Himari, who both jumped on the tree for cover and free from the flames, pointed to the location.
"They've retreated back to Kuoh Academy…" Koneko answered.
"They are DEFINITELY serious about starting another war," Himari growled. "And two of my enemies have already joined in!"
"They'll probably unleash a lot of magic and nuclear explosives to destroy this city, along with us so the Satans will launch a full-on attack on them, forcing Heaven to attack!" Sona deduced.
"We have to stop him before that happens," one of the bishops of Sitri, Reya Kusaka stated.
"Are you two okay with this?" Kazuki asked to Raynare and Kalawarner.
"He deceived us. Any others that follow him is a traitor to Lord Azazel," said Raynare.
Rias got her composure back and stood up.
"We are heading to the school," Rias ordered and her crew followed her as she and Sona created magic portals to transport them to the Academy.
** 10 minutes earlier **
Sanosuke stood outside his house, holding a normal black bow in his hand and pulled back the arrow locked in its string. He aimed the bow and arrow at a straw target in front of him.
He kept thinking to himself 'Would their plan work?' Surely enough, there will be traps laid out for them but could they defeat them and save Keisuke's friend as well as their town?
He directed his light energy into the arrow, hoping that this would work. When he thought it was enough, he released the string sending the charged arrow at the target. But the energy build into the arrow was too much and it broke apart before it could hit the target.
He sighed, hoping that didn't happen. To have such a strong effect without putting too much would be hard to do.
"I was wondering where you might be and here you are pretending to be Robin Hood."
He heard a voice, he turned around to see Serena smiling at him.
"I guess you're right," Sanosuke laughed slightly. "I just have a lot on my mind." He pulled out another arrow from the quiver beside him. He loaded the arrow on to his bow and took aim, building up energy into it.
Serena shifted her focus between the arrow and the straw target. "So, what are you doing?"
"I'm trying to see if I can build up my light energy into the arrow." He fired and as luck would have it, it broke apart again. He sighed again before he looked at Serena.
"I'll end it here for now." He went to put the bow down and sat on the wooden floor of the corridor behind him.
"You don't mind if I sit here?" She asked.
"It's not like I will say no," Sanosuke answered.
She sat down. "I've been wondering. Although you are a Fallen Angel, I've never seen you create light-based weapons. In the previous battle, I saw you create two swords and here you are using a real bow and arrow instead of a bow of light."
Sanosuke took a deep breath before he stood up, staring into the full moon above his head. "It's because I cannot generate light weapons; it's always been like that. It may be because I'm a half-Fallen Angel." He spread his only wing and looked at his right hand with a single swing he had summoned a single edge wing like sword to his side. "But if it's a sacrifice for a Sacred Gear like the Blade Blacksmith, then it's a worth-while sacrifice." He turned around smirking. He then folded his wing back and the sword disappeared.
"But more importantly, how's Keisuke?" Sanosuke asked, wondering how the silver haired pawn was doing.
"He calmed down for now, along with Sylvia. Kaoru is trying to make sure they both don't go mad yet," Serena answered, slightly surprised by the question about her pawn. "Why the interest in my subordinates?"
Sanosuke sat down. "The guy has a lot of heart. He's a nice guy, but he's too passionate. We need every bit of cool-heads we can get. Also, you need to look at Rias Gremory and her peerage as well. They are interesting, especially with their pawn, Kazuki."
"I'll do that. You know after this whole business with the stray Peerage is over, are you going to stay here?" Serena asked.
Sanosuke looked down to the ground. "Yeah. I moved back here to live with Valshion under Azazel's orders. Of course, I still have some jobs coming in and out from here to there from Azazel, but for most of it I'll be here," he answered.
"So that means you're not going anywhere…" Serena whispered herself.
"Huh?"
"It's nothing!"
A small silence fell between them. Should she leave or should she say something else?
"You have good people around you," Sanosuke suddenly spoke up, looking up to the evening sun.
"Eh?" This surprised Serena suddenly.
Sanosuke repeated. "Your Peerage. They are good people. You are a lucky King; treasure them."
Serena chuckled. Sanosuke looked to her confused. "As I thought, you are a weird person, but you're also too kind."
He chuckled back, "Say what you want. I'm a mercenary."
Then, they heard a huge explosion around the forest.
"What was that?!" asked Serena in surprise.
Sanosuke stood up, and from the corner of his eye, he could see Kokabiel before he flew to Kuoh Academy and the huge wall of flames.
"Looks like our time has cut short," said Sanosuke. "I'll be going ahead. It looks like they're heading to the school. Whatever preparations you and your team have, finish them now and meet me there ASAP!"
Serena stood up. "Right! We'll see you then."
** At the Kuoh Academy Sports Field **
At the track area, Freed Sellzen, the Stray Devils and Valper Galilei were there. Valper, complete with a new mechanical leg, thanks to Saki, was using a strange device charged with magic that the Stray Devils have given him to create magic symbols where the Excalibur swords were in each circle.
"It's almost time for my dream to come true," Valper muttered with a smirk.
The Stray Devils all had evil smiles as a circle began to glow and a beam of magic shot out towards the sky.
Xenovia, standing on a roof of an office building, gasped when she saw the beam at the school.
Yuuto narrowed his eyes in disgust when he saw the beam from the window of their club classroom inside the Old School Building.
Sanosuke saw the beam and the Excalibur Swords and he was very angry, indeed!
"So…it has begun…." he said in a dark voice.
** At a mysterious place **
Akidzuki Shikimori, Kazuki's ¾th relative, is concentrating with her crystal ball. The crystal ball glowed red, and began to shake uncontrollably.
"A war…is about to begin…" she said in a low voice.
To be continued….
Next time on Magical Devils…
The showdown at Kuoh Academy finally arrives as the Gremory and Sitri groups take on Kokabiel and his army, but they aren't alone. The MMM Maid Team and Kazuki's sisters and cousins are joining them as well.

1. At the title of this chapter, notice the 'Almost Unbeatable'. In the world of Classic Video Games of the 1980s, there was an enemy that was 'Unbeatable?' What is that enemy, what game did this character appear, and what year was the game produced?
2. Name all the weapons the USA used in World War I AND in World War II.
3. There was a REAL Great War in the real World. Name ALL the countries that are associated with this war.
This time, we're going to do things a little bit different. I'm offering some prizes for this Quiz. Guess all 3 Questions right before the next chapter is posted, and you'll get the Giga Prize. If you fail, then you get the Medium Prize by getting 2 Questions right.
Prizes:
Giga Prize: Get to know the FULL details of the Expedition Club or get a spoiler from the 2nd half of the Second Season of Magical Devils.
Medium: You can get to see what happens to Vali Lucifer and his crew after the fight with Kazuki AND Keisuke.
Now, keep in mind that the Giga Prize goes to ONE person and ONE person only. So, be sure to think carefully and post as fast as you can. I'll be looking forward to this, and I hope you are looking forward to the Big Showdown at Kuoh Academy.
So, with all of these in mind, Happy Holidays to all, and to all a good night! Read and review, and no flaming!
