Hey guys, I'm back. For those wondering why I've updated Afire Love three times in between updates for New Normal, well the answers simple. I write what I have an idea for. New Normal sometimes takes longer to fully form a chapter for. But your support is greatly appreciated, as well as your patience.

Anywho enjoy :)

Olivia sat on Fitz's lap, they weight of being eight months pregnant was not too much for him. He was just happy having both of them in arms reach on Christmas.

Olivia studied the gift box Fitz had given her. "I didn't get you anything," she said after a brief pause in the conversation.

"You're joking right?" Fitz chuckled as he rubbed his hand over Olivia's stomach feeling for the kicks that had been repeatedly going for at least a half hour. It was one of the best and happiest Christmases he'd had in a long time, or really ever. "I got to see our little Thomas Henry or Georgia Grace Grant. I'm set, he said, and although what he said was sweet it made Olivia recoil. "What? The baby is taking my name, right?" He asked.

"Of course, you think I'm going to subject my child to the 'Are you religious?' question for their whole life?" Olivia asked. She like her name, now. But growing if she had a dollar from every time she was asked that, she'd be, well, richer than she already was.

"Then what's with the face?" Fitz questioned.

"I just haven't heard the names together before. It's a lot of alliteration" she replied. She couldn't believe she hadn't thought of it before. They'd had the names picked out for at least a month and this was the first time they'd strung them together.

"Oh…yeah," Fitz said realising she was right. "Thomas Henry Grant. That's sounds fine. Great actually. And I'm not going to ask if it necessary, we're just going to do it. Should we change Georgia or Grace?" Fitz put forward. He knew if he asked if changing the names was needed he'd be able to read Liv's face. She had a damn good poker face at times, but not always. And it was better not to risk it.

"We get rid of Grace, I guess?" She said, asking herself more than him.

"But you picked Grace," Fitz replied.

"But Georgia actually has some significance, Grace just sounds pretty. And I can choose the new name. It's fine," Liv said. It was an easy compromise.

"So, what's it going to be then?" He asked.

"I don't know. I haven't had to think of names in a month," Liv replied honestly. In her mind the names were set in stone, she was even calling the baby it's respective name when Fitz wasn't around. But choosing a new middle name was going to require effort. And hypothetically, if she picked something ridiculous like 'Bob', he would inadvertently know it wasn't going to be a girl.

"Well let me know when you do," Fitz said, he didn't really mind all that much what the middle name was going to be. He trusted Olivia's choices and if he really hated the name, he was sure she wouldn't mind changing it again.

Pope About to Pop!

"Am I the only one that thinks that this headline could refer to someone holding a pin to a balloon resembling the head of the Catholic Church?" Olivia asked as she held open the newspaper to a spread about herself. She was in the papers daily, and it felt like there was an endless loop of her on the television.

There seemed to be a baby count down going. Even though no one knew when her due date was or that Fitz was the father. People were just interested in her or suspected that he was. And the fact that she was staying as far away from the press as possible meant she was a mystery and everyone wanted to know as much as they could about her and the baby. It'd be a ridiculous spectacle that she wouldn't pay attention to, if it was anyone else's life but her own.

There were photos of her going to and from the White House almost three times a week. Which was actually the plan. Fitz and Liv were meant to be seen together. There was no PDA outside of something friends would do. And if and when any questions came up in the press room, instead of the company line of 'The White House doesn't comment on Personal Relationships', they simply said 'The President and Ms Pope have always been close friends'. It wasn't a confirmation, an outright denial, or a non-answer answer.

"I would say, 'yes you are the only one to think that'," Fitz replied, as he looked over to what Olivia was reading. He didn't give two flaps about what the papers were saying. He'd been wanting to be public all along, so a few articles speculating it, really didn't bother him too much.

They'd been able to set up a way for Olivia to spend nights without anyone knowing. Olivia used the tunnels in and out of the White House to get by undetected. If there was ever a shot of Olivia entering via the White House gates it was because they wanted people to see it. Everything was perfectly orchestrated by them.

"Do you want to go for a walk?" Fitz asked as he finished his breakfast. It was Saturday morning, and he had asked not to be disturbed unless it was for a national or global crisis. "Outside?"

"I'd have to go and come and back again," she replied. If they were going to go out in public then Olivia had to make an entrance, she couldn't just appear, people would think she had stayed the night…which she had.

"That'll take an hour at least, we should just go. Screw what anyone says," he said as he stood up and went around to help Olivia out of her chair.

Okay," she said. She was too tired to fight and going out for a walk actually did sound lovely.

Fitz grabbed their coats from their bedroom, and then they were on there way. It was still early so very few staff filled the halls. They barely saw anyone on their way from the residence to outside.

It was colder than they were expecting so Olivia's hand held tightly onto Fitz's arm as they huddled together for warmth. Fitz would have typically had his arm around her, but this way he could help her keep balance as well assist her with body heat.

"This is nice," Liv said through the chattering of her teeth.

"What do you bet there's at least one long zoom lens on us right now," Fitz said. He was well aware of how the paparazzi worked.

"I don't care," she said, forcing Fitz to smile.

They began to walk to the Rose Garden, with Fitz taking the lead. It was their spot. Or really one of their spots. It being in the middle of winter there were few flowers in season, and the ones that were, were covered in a light dusting of frost.

"Rose," Olivia said out of nowhere.

"I can't believe they're still in bloom," Fitz said as they continued.

"No, 'Rose', for the middle name," Liv replied.

"Oh." It had been a few weeks since they had decided that Grace would no longer work, but this was the first time Olivia had actually said her new suggestion. He had come to think that she had pregnancy brain and forgot that they needed it. "Georgia Rose Grant," he said stringing the new names together.

"Yeah?" She asked. It sounded a whole lot better than before. But the name had just come to her in the moment, she hadn't tried it to see how it flowed or sounded before she said it.

"It's perfect," Fitz said. He fully expected Liv to push him away when he started to lean into her, but she didn't, and he firmly planted his lips on to hers. It was a tender kiss, but short kiss, he knew the rules, but in that moment, he couldn't help himself. And neither could the photographer when they snapped the affectionate scene.

I know, not much happened, its really just a filler chapter, not gonna lie.

Not sure how many more chapters this story has in. I don't know if I'm going to continue it after the birth, but who knows, depends on feedback, etc.
