Kensi blinked.

She looked around her. No one was around. She saw a dead body near her. It looked like the guy they were after. That makes sense, she thought.

She then looked down and saw she was kneeling next to someone. Callen. His eyes were closed, but he was breathing. Barely, but breathing. She frowned. But, he's supposed to be dead. Wasn't he?

"Callen?" she tried, softly. No answer.

"Callen," she said, louder this time. His eyelids fluttered but didn't fully open.

"CALLEN!" she yelled. He jolted up, eyes darting around anxiously.

"WHAT WHAT? Is everything okay? What's going on?" he asked. He suddenly saw the look on her face, "What's wrong?" She shook her head.

"I– just– you– you're supposed to be dead," she finally blurted out. He frowned.

"What? I'm just shot. I'm not dying."

"Wait a minute… So you're saying that everything was just my imagination? A dream?" He raised a skeptical eyebrow.

"Are– are you okay, Kensi?" She quickly nodded.

"Yeah. Yeah. I'm fine. Let's just wait until Sam and Deeks get here. Anyways, how are you feeling?"

"Banged up but fine. You?"

"Great. Just great." Actually. I'm not. I think I'm going crazy.

Sam and Deeks arrived, along with the ambulance. Sam ran over.

"G!"

"I'm good," Callen croaked, "I'm fine."

"Thought you said 10 minutes was too long," Sam said to Kensi. She gawked.

"It was going to be too long. What are you talking about? He was dying. I SAW WITH MY OWN EYES." Sam shook his head.

"Are you okay Kensi?" By then, Deeks arrived.

"Callen. You alright?" Callen nodded.

"Sam said Callen was dying. He looks fine. Shot, but fine. You okay Fern?" Kensi inwardly groaned but her head was spinning. Did she imagine everything?

"Kensi?" Sam asked. She just realized she was swaying on her feet, about to fall. She composed herself.

"Yeah I just need to make a call." She hauled out her phone and walked a little ways. She dialed a number.

"Time to talked to Nate," she muttered. The phone rang for a couple seconds. Then Nate picked up.

"Nate speaking."

"Hey Nate," Kensi said into the phone, "It's me. Kensi. Listen, you have time for a chat? I think I'm going crazy."
