The next day, Kaiba woke to find himself slumped in a chair he'd never been in before. He looked down and saw he was in a tuxedo, his hair slicked back to make him look more handsome. His eyes narrowed as Mokuba entered. "Mokuba, where am I, and why am I wearing a tux?"

Mokuba grinned and announced, "You're getting married today! Isn't it great?"

"What?! I didn't schedule for this! I need to get back to work!"

The older Kaiba brother stood and reached to take off his stiff jacket. The younger crossed his arms and stated, "You go to work or home, they'll just kick you out. They've been ordered to not let you in and if you get in, they'll use force to remove you from the premises. I want you to have a break, Nii-sama. Work will always be there, but your bride won't be. She's at her wits' end, and if you don't marry her now, she'll leave you."

"You know who she is, Mokuba?! How did you find out?!"

"She told me everything. I feel very insulted that you didn't trust me with the identity of your fiancée. She was right in front of me the whole time you were dating her, and how you even wanted to abort her pregnancy! Why would you want to erase such a wonderful thing?! If she'd done what you'd asked, Akio and Fuyuki wouldn't be here! You broke contact with her for three months and she had to plead with you to get you to accept that you were going to be parents! You treat her like she's nothing, and that the most important thing in your life is work! Work is vital to us keeping on the top, but not at the cost of ignoring the love of your life! Heck, even the twins get more attention from you!"

"I won't be talked to like this!"

"YOU SHUT UP AND LISTEN TO ME, NII-SAMA!" Mokuba screamed, tears running down his face in frustration. He panted and continued in a calm voice, "I'm so sick of you holing yourself up in your office or room, just because you think that there's no time for fun right now. You need to live life, not just slowly destroy yourself in a dark corner. So please…go out there and marry her."

Kaiba stood there in shock for a moment, before he knelt in front of his younger brother. "Mokuba, you've become wise. When did you grow up to be more mature than I am?"

"All this time, Nii-sama."

They hugged and Kaiba murmured, "I'll go out there. I want you to stay out of trouble while I'm gone."

"Of course, Nii-sama. I won't let you down."

Kaiba stepped out and walked down the aisle to the priest, who nodded to the organist. The wedding march began to play, and Ryo stepped out, wearing a veil over her face, a gorgeous white dress on her. She stopped in front of him and he took her hands.

Neither of them cared what was said, just that they were to be together for the rest of their lives. She felt the tears coming again, and as he lifted her veil, she was the happiest person alive.

They were driven to Kaiba's summer home a good distance away from Osaka, by the sea. Ryo beamed as she walked through every corner of the house, dropping off her trunk in the bedroom. She squealed as she walked out the back onto the beach, sprinting across the sand. Kaiba watched her with complete love in his eyes. Right now it was just them, no one else. He felt like he'd just met her and they were spending a day at the beach, young love pounding in their bodies. She turned and her face was luminous as she beckoned him to join her. He took off his shoes and with an impish grin, ran after her.

She screamed when he caught her and lifted her over his shoulder. She struggled when he realized he was carrying her into the ocean, and when he threw her in, she caught his shirt with both hands and dragged him in with her. They splashed each other furiously, chased each other in the water, laughing all the time. They finally got out, drenched, and sat on the beach as the sun set, letting the heat dry them. He fell back when the gold orb disappeared beneath the horizon, exhausted after the long day of play they'd had. She stroked his hair and kept watch, the sound of the waves almost succeeding in making her fall asleep as well, but she wouldn't allow them both to be off guard until he woke again.

"Seto Kaiba, I'm so in love with you. I hope that we can still be together after I…" She stopped herself as she turned her head towards the ocean again, relishing in the experience. She would save the heavy stuff for when it came. She'd been preparing for this ever since she'd found out, so she was ready.

/You're pretty calm during all this. Are you sure that you shouldn't let him find out before it happens?\\

/No, I don't want to spoil this. I tried to tell him before, but when I saw how run down he was, I couldn't make him angry or sad. Not then, not now. I'm surprised it took you so long to find out, and you're my other half.\

/I didn't realize until I got my own body. Promise me that if he reacts negatively, come to me. I won't let you cry for him in front of him. He doesn't deserve it if he can't handle such a small thing.\\

/I'm sure you will. I wonder if Seto realizes we still have a connection.\

/Who cares? There's nothing he can do about it. Plus, I'm going to be close to you always. If he wants to keep us apart, I'll shove my new knife up his—\\

Bakura chuckled. /I sure know how to get you on the defensive.\\

/How are Fuyuki and Akio?\

/They're thrilled that they have two new playmates. They were getting bored with their dad, who merely attended to their needs, not their wants. I'll make sure they're safe and happy.\\

/I'm indebted to you for doing this, when I know you don't want to.\

/What're you going on about? I like them as much as you do, Ryo. Don't think I'm doing this out of some obligation. Besides, they love me.\\

/Does Mokuba-kun like you?\

/After he realized that I wasn't his brother's lover, yes. He thinks I'm more fun than you are, because I let him stay up and do whatever he wants. I'm the new favorite babysitter.\\

/Don't get into any trouble, or else Seto will make sure you never set foot in the Kaiba Mansion again.\

/I'd like to see him try.\\

They laughed together and she looked over to see Seto stirring. She smiled and stroked his head. "We need to get you to bed, Seto. You just passed out as soon as we sat down."

He opened his eyes and sat up. "I'm sure my entire back is covered in sand."

"Then we'll have to wash it off first. This is the most rest I've seen you since that night we had together."

"I always have nightmares, which is another reason I avoid sleeping."

"Maybe I should have Bakura give Atem-san a good punch in the teeth for doing this to you."

"Maybe I should just have you stay by my side for the rest of our lives."

They stood and walked into the house, going to the upstairs master bedroom. Into the shower they went, rinsing off all the salt and sand that had collected on their bodies. He was in a frisky mood when they came out of the shower with towels wrapped around them, she shrieked when he tackled her to the bed. He grinned and stated, "I'm not in the mood for sleeping right now, Ryo."

A shiver went down her spine as she blocked Bakura out.
