Now that things have been settled between Kaiba and Ryo, how will Mokuba react?
They returned at the end of the week, and Bakura was feeding Akio while Mokuba was tickling Fuyuki's tummy when the couple walked in, Ryo's disguise back on.
/It's about time you got back. I'm starting to get bored babysitting these three little monsters.\\
/Bored? You love them to pieces and you know it, Bakura.\
/Be wary, Mokuba hug attack.\\
She caught Mokuba as the young teen hugged her tight.
/He says he's glad you're both back and he missed you.\\
/I missed him too.\
Bakura answered for her and Mokuba looked up at her, puzzled. He asked, 'Why did Bakura answer for you, Ryo-kun? Is something wrong?'
She looked to Bakura and he nodded. 'During the trip, he went deaf, Mokuba.'
Mokuba's eyes filled with tears and he buried his face into her chest. She stroked his head and looked up at Kaiba, who put an arm around her. The fourteen-year-old would get over this, and they would face it together as a family.
Short and sweet, definitely sweet.
