The robotic duo fell down, down, down and landed next to the trophy room, in a big, dirty, brown room that reminded Quote and Curly of the Sand Corridor.
The door that Quote had wondered about earlier when he was at the Plantation had been opened. He first went over to the trophy room and walked inside. He and Curly Brace shot the trophies, unlocking yellow triangles, hearts, and ammo.
Quote then went outside and tried the door back to the Plantation.
Locked.
So he went back down to the opened door and went through it. The ghostly dog explained to them a bit more about Ballos, telling them that he was his master, and that they had to defeat him. Quote nodded.
The dog wavered, then disappeared into the air. Quote boosted over to the door.
"Ready?" he said to Curly.
"Ready!" she answered.
Quote turned the knob and the door opened with a horrifying creak.
He went through, ready to find and fight the demon that he knew he must kill.
He would save the island.
