A/N: Final chapter! It's been fun writing this story, and I hope you enjoy it!

As Quote went through the door, he fell down into an almost empty room, devoid of anything except for spikes.

He walked into the center of the room, and then he appeared.

Ballos.

He spoke about how he had waited, how he had been tortured, and how he had lost everything.

Quote stood hearing nothing. He only thought what task lay before him.

Ballos finished his speech and flew into the air. Quote began to charge up his Spur.

They began to battle.

Ballos flew into the air, and slammed into the ground, crushing Quote.

Quote managed to wiggle out from under him and began to shoot at him, but then he changed form into a big, rocky ball with red eyes floating around him.

Quote managed to close all the eyes by blasting at them, but then Ballos changed form yet again, becoming a big rocky ball like before, but with blood coming out of his eyes and mouth, and with skulls in them.

Spikes began to appear on the ground, and green Butes began to stream out of holes in the wall.

Quote boosted up to Ballos' eyes, and switched to the missiles.

He fired one after the other, straight through his face.

Ballos' face crumbled into dust, and he yelled,

"HOT... HOT... CAN'T BREATHE... SO PAINFUL... HOT... IT HURTS..."

Quote fell to the ground, an indescribable feeling of joy crossing his face.

But then… the walls began to close in on him and Curly.

"What do we do now?" she said nervously.

Then Balrog, the gray robot, came out of a hole in the ceiling. He called to them, "Climb on my back! The walls will crush you!"

You don't say… Quote thinks, but he climbs onto his back anyway.

The trio blasts out of the room and soars away from the island. Ballos' room crumbles and falls beneath the clouds.

As they stare at the island and look at the night sky and blue clouds, Balrog asks, "So, where do you want to go now?"

"Someplace…someplace with a view." Curly answers.

Fine with me, Quote thinks.

They fly away, happy to be done with their adventure.
