This is a continuation of last chapter, I just didn't realize it until I posted it! *sweat drop*
In fact, wherever they went the next week, groups of fans seemed to find them, and once they were back at the hotel, everyone else had stories about their adoring fans. The boy with the Internet picture found all of them, even Mokuba, who'd come one time while Bakura and Ryo watched the twins, so he'd completed his collection of autographs.
During the last night before the tournament, Anzu, Shizuka, Mai and Ishizu pulled Ryo into their room. They set out a pad of paper and Anzu announced, 'We're doing the quiet game. We can only talk by writing on this pad of paper. Ready…set…go!'
Anzu wrote down a question first and slid it to Ryo. The white-haired girl picked it up and nearly dropped it again when she read the words.
Ryo, you're a girl, aren't you?
/Oh bloody hell.\
/What caused you to swear, Ryo?\\ Bakura asked. /Are those girls making you play truth or dare?\\
/Look.\
Bakura looked through Ryo's eyes and began cursing the air blue. She blushed as his tirade turned graphic and murmured, /I'll leave you to calm down for now.\
Her eyes cleared and she considered on what she should do. If it hadn't been true, she would've denied it immediately, so she had to answer truthfully. But with so many people in the know, it would be tough to keep the secret hidden from those who would exploit it. She wrote down a single word answer and set it on the table for all to see. She closed her eyes so she wouldn't see their reactions, but didn't expect the four of them to hug her. She opened her eyes and smiled.
They were truly her friends if they accepted the truth so readily.
Ryo exited the room and searched for Kaiba, only to find he was alone, all the other guys had gone to bed. She smiled adoringly at him and came over, straddling his lap before he could move. He stroked the side of her face and she leaned into it. He brought her forward into a kiss and they didn't notice as everyone else watched them, all aware of the pair's affections for each other and supporting it. They wouldn't tell Ryo's secret until she herself was ready to do so.
She put her arms around him and her fingers twisted into his hair. Tonight they would be together and no one would see them, something that rarely happened. Their passion had already brought two children into the world, with a third on the way. She was so in love that if she were to die, she wouldn't go into the Pearly Gates until Kaiba came too. Even if she had to wait forever.
That almost sounds like an ending...but fear not, dear readers, it's not finished yet!
