Rai charged at Robbie and roared, raising his dagger as he did. Robbie, not thinking but acting on sheer adrenaline and reflexes, slid under Rai's attack. However, Rai spun quickly and plunged his dagger to the hilt in Robbie's shoulder, dragging it to the hand. The top of robbie's arm was split into two. Robbie screamed in agony and tried to hold his arm together, but Rai was moving in for the kill! Closer and closer, taking his time, he let out a terrifying laugh and grinned insanely. His mind had snapped and all he wanted was blood.
Robbie was frantically searching his pockets for the bandage that he had from the medical pack that he was supposed to use on the other survivors at the camp, so long ago. He found it just in time to see a dagger racing toward his head! He rolled out of the way, making sure to avoid his arm as much as possible. He quickly bandaged himself up, telling himself that it would hold until he could find something better. Having no weapons, he had to dodge as much as possible. Rai lunged at him and Robbie sidestepped it and clapped his hands as hard as he could over Rai's ears, popping the eardrums.
Now it was Rai's turn to be in pain. He clutched his head, dropping the dagger as he did so. Robbie saw his chance and shoved Rai to the zombie pit, but instead of falling in, he caught onto the fence made out of iron cages that surrounded it. Rai drew upon some unbelievable reserve of massive strength and tore one bar out. Robbie frantically looked for a weapon and found a heavy, sharp piece of wood that would do. He was ready. Rai dashed at him and Robbie tried to block but it was no use. The iron completely shattered his makeshift spear and connected with his head. Dazed, Robbie looked up at Rai who was panting. Rai laughed, but this time there was no insanity in it. It just sounded like he was glad it was over.
"And now, we fini-" Rai gasped and stopped mid-sentence. He fell to his knees and onto his face. There was a piece of iron sticking out of his spine. Lyn was standing there. "Bastard." She spit on his corpse and then threw a golden apple's core onto his back. Robbie looked up at her and then down to Rai, then up again.
"You-You're alive!"
She didn't answer. She couldn't. She just fell, and sobbed.
