AN: Ok so i got a few hings to say, firstly if you have noticed from the last chapter there were hints of romance, and i mentioned some pairings at the start of it. There will be pairings, for ALL of the guardians, hetro and homo, dont like dont read. if you want to know what the pairings are i have three choices for you all: 1) you review and ask me (most recommended)

2) you wait till the whole thing is over and find out or

3) you figure it out before the story ends

I'll Bite you to Death.

Sometimes Tsuna thought the world hated him, especially times like now. Why you ask, well Tsuna happened to have just finished a spar against his senpai and won, so at that moment he was quite tiered.

Then he had to rush home so he wouldn't be late for dinner and his spartanic tutor didn't kill him, but before he could even walk out the front gates of school, he was met with one, very angry, Hibari Kyoya.

Very slowly, Tsuna lifted his head from where it was hanging in shame of his bad luck, and looked the angry prefect in the eye. He gulped at the predatory glint in the dark black orbs, mustered up as much courage as he could and spoke "Hi-hibari-san, c-can I help you with something?"

His voice squeaked, he wanted to back away but was trapped by the older boys fierce gaze. "Herbivore," his voice came out smooth and dangerous, which made Tsuna want to get away from there even more. "You're on school property after hours; I'll bite you to death."

'Hiiiee, I knew it, I have the worst luck on earth!' Tsuna gripped the sides of his head and closed his eyes in fear, blocking out Hayato's angry shouts towards Hibari, and awaited the pain that would be coming. So imagine his surprise, after standing in the same place for two minutes nothing happened, so he decided to risk it and open his eyes.

In-front of him was Takeshi, his arms out to protect Tsuna from any attack Hibari may unleash. "Stop Hibari, we just want to go home okay?" the tone in Takeshi's voice surprised Tsuna 'he's being really serious. I wonder what got into him' Tsuna looked up at Takeshi and made eye contact that basically told him 'I'll explain my behaviour later.' He gave his dark haired friend a nod of support before moving back to stand next to Hayato.

Takeshi and Hibari stared at each, Hibari, trying to think of the others intentions, and Takeshi, trying to find the right words to say, "Hibari please just let us through silently, I would rather not hurt you." Takeshi stated calmly, as if threatening to attack at any sudden movement.

The older teen was shocked to say the least, his eyes widened a bit before narrowing at the threat, "was that a threat herbivore? I don't enjoy wasting my time with herbivores pretending to be carnivores." Takeshi internally winced 'pretending huh? I guess this approach was a fail, but I don't know how else to get through to him.'

Takeshi sighed and decided to stand his ground "yeah, it was a threat, and I hope you're smart enough to make the right move." You could literally feel the anger radiating off of Hibari 'oops, wrong move' the younger teen thought to himself as he dogged a tonfa aimed for his face, and the fight began.

Hibari attacked, Takeshi defended and never fought back, 'I really want to know what's going on with Takeshi.' Tsuna thought as he watched the very one-sided battle unfold in-front of him, with much amazement.

"Tsuna-sama," Hayato's voice made him jump with surprise. He turned to his storm guardian and gestured for him to continue, "wouldn't this be a good time to ask him Tsuna-sama?" The smaller teen smiled at the smart idea 'of course it's a good time to ask! Then I can just get Hibari-san out of the way.'

"That's a great idea Hayato, you're a genius!" he beamed at the compliment and followed his boss on focusing on the fight once more. "Both of you stop!" Tsuna shouted at the two fighting boys, one stopped at the order from his boss, while the other took the moment and aimed a strike at his stomach.

Takeshi doubled over onto his knees, his face scrunched up in pain. "Hiiee Takeshi! I'm sorry," Tsuna shouted, running over quickly to his injured friend, "haha, it's fine Tsuna; it's not your fault. Hibari let his eyes linger on Takeshi's hurting form before turning around "herbivores, get off of school property before I bite you all to death."

Hibari said menacingly over his shoulder before walking away, "ah Hibari-san!" Tsuna called after the retreating figure, his arm outstretched as if to catch him. Takeshi, being his very observant self, noticed that Tsuna had probably wanted to ask Hibari 'the question', and decided to act, 'this is definitely my chance!'

Ignoring the pain coming from his stomach, he clambered to his feet and, with some struggle, made his way towards the prefect. Once he caught up, he slipped his arms around the smaller boy's waist, stopping his movements before he could react.

Hibari was completely frozen with shock for a few seconds before coming to his senses; he narrowed his eyes before lashing out at the taller boy behind him. But as his body was being held at a certain angle, he couldn't get a good or proper hit in.

Takeshi chuckled a little, making Hibari freeze again, he was shocked at his nice and light hearted the sound was. "Please Hibari, just hear what Tsuna has to say," he whispered in the prefect's ear, making him shiver at the hot breath on his ear and neck.

"Are you trying to order me around herbivore?" Hibari asked in an uncharacteristically small voice, his weakened state caused by the teen holding him, "Haha," he laughed again, causing Hibari to suck in his breath at the music to his ears. 'Why am I so affected by him?' Hibari thought frustratedly as he tried his hardest to compose himself, "I said please, didn't I?"

Taking Hibari's prolonged silence as a yes, Takeshi carefully turned them around, and slowly led them back to Tsuna, being extra careful so that he didn't trip, and further anger the prefect. 'I did it!' Takeshi thought happily with a smile on his face, 'he's taking notice of me, he's conscious of me!'

During the whole ordeal, Hayato and Tsuna watched with their mouths open and eyebrows very high up, 'what the hell just happened?' they both thought to themselves.

Once Takeshi and Hibari were in-front of Tsuna, Hibari's current glare and hatred seemed to switch towards the small brunette, making him shake in boots (school shoes). "Maa maa, Hibari, don't blame Tsuna for this, blame me," the prefect shivered, not being used to Takeshi being so close, before struggling a bit more in the tight grasp of the baseball player.

When his grip didn't let up, Hibari scowled at nothing in particular, 'he's so cute sometimes' Takeshi thought with a small chuckle, bringing out many reactions from Hibari again. Tsuna looked at his friends face, which was covered by a content smile aimed at the skylark in his arms.

He stayed staring for a few minutes before his eyes widened in realization, he turned his head to the side quickly when a faint blush grew on his face, 'that explains the behaviour, he's in lo-'

"Herbivore." Tsuna jumped slightly as an annoyed voice brought him out of his discovery thoughts, he looked over to Hibari "if you're not going to say anything useful, tell this herbivore to let me go so I can bite you all to death." Tsuna shivered at Hibari's offer (or order) and shook his head vigorously.

"W-wait, Hibari-san, I need to ask you something important." Hibari looked him in the eyes slowly (his way of showing he was listening). Tsuna took a much needed, deep breath before starting, "n-next year, when I graduate middle school, will you come with me to Italy, for two years, for advanced mafia training?"

"No." Tsuna flinched at the quick answer 'I guess I expected that, of course he wouldn't leave Namimori' Tsuna sighed before nodding slowly "I understand, let's go." He called to his two friends and was surprised when they objected, "Tsuna-sama, we can't let him go like this! We have to make him come or Reborn-san will be disappointed with us!"

Hayato argued, obviously not wanting to let his role model down. "I agree with Hayato, Tsuna, I want Hibari to come with us!" Hibari's eyes widened vaguely 'he wants me to go with him?' Tsuna stared at his two friends dumbfounded before breaking into a little giggling fit, "hehe y-you guys, hehehe, you guys really care, and I'm thankful for that."

He turned to Hibari with a smile "I'll do anything Hibari-san, even fight, just, please come with us!" The prefect looked at the brunette with narrow eyes, before giving up with an annoyed grunt "Hn, I'll go." The three other teens stared at him with wide eyes "why? What do you want from Tsuna-sama?!"

Hayato demanded, "nothing, there is nothing a herbivore like him could do for me." Hibari stated while looking at a tree indifferently. Hayato growled and was about to throw an array of insults at the prefect before he was interrupted by a fellow guardian.

"Tsuna, you forgot to ask him if you could call him by his first name," Takeshi stated, a happy smile on his face, his comment was given a deep scowl from Hibari, which only made him squeeze the older boy's waist. "Umm Hibari-san, may I call you Kyoya?" Hibari growled, "No."

"Kyo-san?"

"No."

"Kyo-kun?"

"No."

"Kyo- chan?"

"No."

"Ky-"

"Kyoya, just call me Kyoya" Hibari said with a snarl of defeat. Tsuna looked at Hibari and smiled 'that was less painful than I thought it would be' he then remembered something "since we get to call you Kyoya you get to call us by our first names too, okay?"

Kyoya glared and grunted in response "Hn." Tsuna's gaze shifted to Takeshi, who was still watching Kyoya and smiled 'I should help them out'

"Hayato, come on we're going back." He called to his friend; he was confused at why Takeshi wasn't coming but ignored it and chose to listen to his boss. Takeshi was equally confused until Tsuna turned towards him mouthing 'good luck' before running off with Hayato in tow.

Takeshi smiled, 'I'm going to have to thank him later' he looked back down at the teen, who was comfortably standing in his arms and smirked. He leaned down so his mouth was right next to Hibari's ear "I'm really glad you're coming with us... Kyoya" he whispered in a teasing tone before slowly pressing his lips against Kyoya's cheek.

They stayed like that for a few seconds, Takeshi, enjoying the moment and Kyoya, frozen with shock and slight happiness. Takeshi pulled away and ran before Kyoya could react harshly with a big grin on his face.

Kyoya stood there for a few more moments before feeling cold at the warmth that had left his back; he put his hand to his slightly damp cheek that was tinted crimson "stupid... Takeshi" he whispered to the wind before walking back into school to take a much needed nap.
