Authors note: I am so sorry I haven't updated in so, so long! I've been feeling both busy and lazy, especially since it's summer. Anyways I really hope you like it!

Part of the chapter includes the song A Thousand Years (Part 2) by Christina Perry, the duet version. I hope you don't mind too much, that's just something I imagined with the story for some reason. Please let me know if I didn't get something in the lyrics right, I thought I did but you never know sometimes.

Sage P.O.V.

Finally out of my reverie I now noticed I was no longer standing in the ornamented ballroom, but lying on a comfortable and lavish bed in a room that was just as lavish. Sitting up took just about all of my strength and I sighed because it took so much to do anything. I tensed and drew my legs closer as if I could still somehow somersault forward even without any strength left in me to fight, as the door suddenly creaked open.

But I was joyously surprised to see little Henrik and… my beloved Finn. "Finn!" I exclaimed breathlessly, happiness echoing in my voice. I was ready to try and launch myself at him but he was quicker than I and was by my side in an instant pushing me back down into the plush pillows.

"You need to rest and relax. Sage, please." I sighed at his request, and put on my begging face, "Stay with me please?" He took no more than a second to decide, eyes quickly scanning me to make sure he wouldn't hurt me if I was jostled before climbing under the covers with me. I snuggled as close as I possibly could.

"I never got to say this, but thank you for saving my life Sage." Henrik said to me before he closed the door and left us.

Finn rubbed his fingertips along my arm softly, like a feather, while he played with one of my hands. I hummed in content. I knew Finn loved my voice so I decided to softly sing.

Sage

"The day we met, frozen, I held my breath. Right from the start, I knew that I'd found a place for my heart, beats fast. Colors and promises, how to be brave, how can I love when I'm afraid.. to fall? But watching you stand alone, all of my doubt suddenly goes away somehow.
